Akon Has Nine Kids And ‘1,000 Percent’ Supports Nick Cannon Fathering 11 Children

The spotlight has been on Nick Cannon when it comes to celebrities with a lot of children. He even joked about fathering 11 kids in a recent video. It turns out Akon has been flying under the radar this whole time, though, as he has nine kids himself. Furthermore, in a new interview, he said he has Cannon’s back when it comes to propagating as he does.

On The Zeze Millz Show, Akon said of Cannon (as Complex reports), “I agree with him 1,000 percent. That’s how life is supposed to be. Why not? He’s rich. He’s responsible. He takes care of every one of those children. And the baby mothers are with it. And they hurt for nothing. And they live comfortably. […] He’s there for every one of them. He’s there for every single one of those kids. I got nine and I’m there for every one of mine.”

The host then asked, “So every single time, you’re at every single recital?” Akon responded, “No, that’s a white man’s thing. Who gives a f*ck about a recital? No, seriously. Listen, my job is to raise my kids, to be responsible, to be understanding, to protect their mother, to give a hand with their father, and to assist with family planning, and to be responsible adults. […] Now guess what? While I’m taking care of my responsibility to make sure the family has a roof over their head and food, if I have the time to do that and show love, yes, I will do that. But my responsibility is to make sure they grow up responsible and strong.”

Akon Says He Supports Nick Cannon Having Children With Multiple Women

Akons Car Was Found After It Was Stolen From Atlanta Gas Station

According to Akon, nothing is wrong with Nick Cannon’s decision to have nearly a dozen kids with multiple different women. The “Locked Up” artist spoke about Nick Cannon a recent episode of The Zeze Millz Show, and said that the Wild N’ Out host was living “how life is supposed to be.”

“Do you agree with Nick Cannon and his spreading of his seed?” Millz asked.

“I agree with him 1,000 percent. That’s how life is supposed to be,” Akon said. “Why not? He’s rich. He’s responsible. He takes care of every one of those children. And the baby mothers are with it. And they hurt for nothing. And they live comfortably.”

Mills replied to Akon saying that children need more than just financial support from their father, to which Akon stated that Cannon is there for all of his kids.

“He’s there for every one of them,” he fired back. “He’s there for every single one of those kids. I got nine [kids] and I’m there for every one of mine.”

“So every single time, you’re at every single recital?” Millz responded.

“No, that’s a white man’s thing. Who gives a fuck about a recital?” he said. “No, seriously. Listen, my job is to raise my kids, to be responsible, to be understanding, to protect their mother, to give a hand with their father, and to assist with family planning, and to be responsible adults … Now guess what? While I’m taking care of my responsibility to make sure the family has a roof over their head and food, if I have the time to do that and show love, yes, I will do that. But my responsibility is to make sure they grow up responsible and strong.”

Akon added that it’s the man’s job to help raise the kids but he can’t always be there physically with them. “You can’t expect a man to conquer the world if he’s there with his children,” he said.

Millz then asked Akon if Cannon could have just had a few kids instead of twelve, and the singer wasn’t a fan of that proposal.

“Why would you wanna take children all around the world with a man?” he asked. “That’s so womanistic. What man do you know is gonna run around with his children? You know how weak that looks? Who does that?”

Bre Tiesi Shouts Out Nick Cannon As “Present, Happy, Consistent” Father Following Holiday Photos

Nick Cannon recently appeared in holiday-themed family photos with Bre Tiesi and their newborn son Legendary, bringing in the baby’s first Christmas. Shortly after posting the pictures on Instagram, the model followed up by giving a shout-out to the television host, referring to him as a “present, happy, consistent” father.

Posing with Cannon as Legendary sat with Santa, Tiesi shared on Instagram earlier this week, “Creating memories with my Cannon boys all season long! Legendary didn’t even bat an eye at Santa!”

“He did love daddy burying him in the beans!” she continued, adding, “Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.”

According to People, she later posted a message she received from a fan, who praised Cannon for showing “up for his kids.” Agreeing, Tiesi responded in support of the Wild ‘N Out star, writing, “THIS! Lanisha Cole, who gave birth to Cannon’s ninth child Onyx in September, recently posted a cryptic message on her social media. On her Instagram Story, the photographer and model seemingly shaded Cannon, saying that their daughter “is surrounded by so much love – and it’s not fake IG photo op love.”

While appearing on the Paramount+ show “The Checkup with Dr. David Agus,” Cannon opened up about the guilt he feels for not having enough time for all of his children.

With the 42-year-old having a total of 11 kids with one on the way, he shared, “Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children.”

He also revealed that he feels “spread thin.”

Alyssa Scott is currently pregnant with Cannon’s 12th child. The pair tragically lost their 5-month-old son Zen in 2021 following a brain cancer battle.

Earlier this month, the Drumline actor posted a tribute for his late son Zen one year after his unfortunate death.

Lil Duval Apologizes To Nick Cannon For Joking On Video About Baby Zen

His funny takes on pop culture often cause him to go viral, but this time, Lil Duval admits his wrongs. This week, Nick Cannon and Alyssa Scott face an anniversary that no parent wants to see. It was on December 15 of last year when their five-month-old son, Zen Cannon, passed away from brain cancer. Cannon has spoken candidly about enduring such a loss, and he sat down with The Checkup with Dr. David Agus to explain how he has coped one year later.

“Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children,” he said on the Paramount+ series. “One, ’cause I’m constantly working, and two, because I’m just spread thin.”

We had the opportunity, we knew the transition was coming. It happened a lot faster than we thought, but even that last weekend, I knew, ‘This is probably going to be the last weekend.’”

The Shade Room shared a clip of Cannon speaking on feeling as if he doesn’t spend enough time with all of his children. This prompted a quip from Lil Duval in the comments.

“It took 12 kids to realize this,” Duval wrote with several crying laughing emojis. Cannon took notice.

Mariah Carey Wants Nick Cannon To Spend More Time With Their Two Kids

It looks like Nick Cannon hasn’t been around enough for his firstborn children and Mariah Carey is calling him out for it. The former power couple were together for only three years when they welcomed their fraternal twins to the world.

The pair married in the Bahamas in 2018 after only a six-week-long romance, spending the next six years together. They separated in 2014 and settled their divorce two years later in 2016.

Mariah Carey Talks Co-Parenting

In an interview with Amazon’s Style Code Live in 2017, the singer addressed the importance of co-parenting. “You put the kids first, but then when you understand that you have unconditional love for these human beings and you want the best existence for them, then you put whatever differences you may have had aside,” she said.

Five years later, she believes Cannon could be spending more time with their children. According to a report from RadarOnline, Carey is putting pressure on Cannon to “carve out” more time for their 11-year-old twins.

The actor and comedian has a lot on his plate. For instance, he has to also carve out time for his eight other children too. On top of this, the 42-year-old is expecting the birth of his eleventh child shortly. The kid will be his second with his current partner, model Alyssa Scott.

Their first son Zen, tragically died from a brain tumor at just five months old in December, 2021. A source close to the actor believes that he’s managing father duties to the best of his abilities. “Nick thinks it’s crazy wonderful having all these kids,” says the source.

Cannon is managing to keep a positive attitude throughout the drama. In a recent Christmas skit, he joked that he has “a whole hell of a lot of gifts to buy” this holiday season.

Twitter Clowns Nick Cannon Over Baby No. 10’s Name

Just weeks after welcoming his first child with model Bre Tiesi and another with LaNisha Cole, 41-year-old Nick Cannon was excited to share the news of his and Brittany Bell’s third child together‘s birth on Friday (September 30).

As is tradition whenever one of the women in the California native’s life welcomes a baby with him, social media is running rampant with those offering up their critiques of his parenting and life decisions.

Now that he’s a father of 10 (with more confirmed on the way), Cannon has gotten to be quite experienced at crafting names for his children, but Twitter users don’t seem to be impressed with the entertainer’s incredibly unique choices – particularly the moniker given to his youngest, Rise Messiah Cannon.

“Another Blessing!!! As my journey on this planet becomes more and more remarkable and unfathomable, all I can do is thank God and continue to ask the Most High to order my steps. He has given me stewardship and dominion over a family dynamic that to some is unimaginable,” The Masked Singer host wrote with his announcement yesterday.

Aside from Rise, Bell and Cannon are also parents to 5-year-old Golden Sagon and nearly 2-year-old Powerful Queen.

Children the recording artist shares with other women include Moroccan, Monroe, Zion, Zillion, Legendary, Onyx, as well as the late Zen, who passed away after a battle with brain cancer last year.

“What kind of Mad Libs generator are they using to come up with these names?” one Twitter user pondered. Another added, “It’s clear that in order to have a baby with Nick Cannon the women have to agree to let him name them all these hotep ass names.”

Nick Cannon & Brittany Bell Welcome Their 3rd Baby Together

Though some have expressed disappointment in Nick’s decision to have so many children with an assortment of baby mamas, he continues to maintain that his current approach is what feels right to him.

When sharing the exciting news of his youngest’s arrival, Cannon wrote, “Another Blessing!!! As my journey on this planet becomes more and more remarkable and unfathomable, all I can do is thank God and continue to ask the Most High to order my steps. He has given me stewardship and dominion over a family dynamic that to some is unimaginable.”

The California native continued, “But more importantly he has blessed me with loving individuals to guide me with care through this purposeful life. I am so indebted and grateful for the matriarch energy in my time of need,” before thanking Bell for being “the rock and foundation of [his] Fatherhood journey.”

Cannon praised the mother of three for educating him “about parenting, psychology, spirituality, love, and just life in general.” He mentioned that his co-parent “didn’t want a baby shower and needed NOTHING! All she desired was PRAYER from her authentic Loved Ones!”

Although Bell was a champion throughout it all, her baby daddy revealed that her labour was far from easy, consisting of “48 hours of excruciating pain and life-risking danger” before their 10-pound bundle of joy arrived.

The pair are already parents to 5-year-old son Golden Sagon and nearly 2-year-old daughter, Powerful Queen.
