Sexyy Red Addresses Rumor That She’s Performing At Donald Trump Rally

Sexyy Red has had a controversial rise to fame. She’s dominated the charts with her aggressive style, but her bluntness has also garnered her lots of critics. Nowhere are her critics more vocal than when it comes to her politics. The rapper told This Weekend podcast host Theo Von that she’s a fan of Donald Trump, and the rap community was not pleased. Sexyy Red’s stance, however, lend credence to the rumor that she was performing at Trump’s upcoming campaign rally on August 3.

The rumor seemingly started with a tweet from the account Thee Pop Feed. “Sexyy Red is rumored to perform at Donald Trump’s presidential rally,” the tweet read. The rally is slated to take place in Atlanta, Georgia, which is where Kamala Harris’ July 30th rally took place. Harris landed high-profile appearances from the likes of Quavo and Megan Thee Stallion at her rally. Quavo went as far as to praise Harris for her gun policies in a heartfelt speech. It stands to reason that the rumor about Sexyy Red performing was an attempt to balance out Harris’ hip-hop endorsements. That said, though, the rumor is false.

Sexyy Red Called “Cap” On Campaign Rally Performance

Despite Sexyy Red’s positive comments about Trump, the rapper will not be performing at the former President’s rally. Red went as far as to quote the original Pop Feed tweet and write: “Dey fakin dats cap.” This actually makes sense, given the rapper’s recent course correction. Sexyy Red performed in front of a giant MAGA hat that read: “Make American Sexyy Again” during the 2024 Roots Picnic. The backlash to the performance was severe, and the rapper stated that she would not be endorsing any presidential nominee in the upcoming election.

Well, excluding herself. “It’s Sexyy Red 4 President,” she tweeted on June 3. “I’m my own candidate I’m not endorsing anybody period.” Donald Trump may not have Sexyy Red in his corner, but several other rappers have voiced their support in recent months. Kodak Black told Drink Champs host N.O.R.E. that he “f*cks” with Trump and would happily give the ex-President $1 million if he needed it. Lil Pump has gone as far as to attack Kamala Harris on social media in defense of Trump. His logic, however, wasn’t particularly sound.

Kai Cenat Admits His Cameraman Texted A Minor In Emotional Video: Watch

Kai Cenat was just as shocked as the rest of the internet on July 30. The Twitch streamer discovered that his cameraman, ChrisV, had been texting a 17 year old girl for weeks. The girl in question shared the texts and the cameraman was promptly fired. Kai Cenat then hopped on a stream to address the controversy, and assure fans that he does not tolerate ChrisV’s behavior in any way. He did, however, get visibly upset when reflecting on what he felt was a betrayal.

Kai Cenat told his viewers that he reached out to the aforementioned girl to confirm that the messages were real. “It’s confirmed,” he stated. “And I’m just sick and tired of having to do sh*t like this.” He then went on to voice frustration over his co-worker’s lack of scruples with regards to messaging an underage teen. “I don’t know how people are not just seeing an age or something and just stopping,” Cenat stated. “It’s some messages that look f*cking crazy, bro.” Eventually, the streamer started to get emotional. “The sh*t f*cked me up the whole day,” he admitted. “It’s like n**ga, what the f*ck are you doing?”

Kai Cenat Fired His Cameraman Upon Learning The Truth

Kai Cenat stopped his rant to compose himself. He wiped tears away from his eyes and acknowledged that he was letting his feelings get the best of him. “Over here crying and sh*t,” he mumbled. Cenat then revealed that ChrisV was part of his original team of friends. A lot of his resentment, beyond the obvious moral shortcomings, however, stemmed from the fact that he now has to cut someone who helped him get started out of his life. “This is the most real you’re gonna get me,” Cenat admitted to his viewers. “I don’t like this sh*t, I don’t condone this sh*t.”

Another notable streamer, Adin Ross, weighed in on the ChrisV controversy. He supported Kai Cenat’s decision to fire the cameraman and voiced his disgust over the leaked text messages. “It’s not morally correct to engage in a relationship with a minor, period,” he stated. “I don’t give a f*ck what you guys have to say about that.” ChrisV is no longer part of AMP. “I’m not associating myself with him,” Cenat asserted.

Toronto Venue ‘History’ Cancels Yet Another TDE Artist’s Concert Date: ‘They DON’T like us’

Screen Shot 2024 07 30 at 7.53.54 PM

Looks like there’s a pattern going on in the Six. Let’s track it. Toronto fans of TDE artist SiR faced disappointment with yet another last-minute concert cancellation in their market. The soul and R&B singer announced on X – that’s the new-ish name for Twitter, yes we still have to remind ya’ll – on Tuesday morning that his show was canceled. Not too big a deal, right? That happens all the time, yea? Well, the show was scheduled just that evening at History, a concert venue in Toronto’s east end, that happens to be (reportedly) co-owned by the Six God himself, Drake. Here’s what SiR said about the cancellation:

”So sorry to my Toronto fans,” he wrote. “The show has been cancelled.” We get it. We got it. But why?

The venue is operated by Live Nation, and the concert giant did not provide a reason for the cancellation. It was quiet.

The event listing was also removed from History’s official website. Again, it’s super quiet.

So here’s where the pattern comes in … This latest cancellation follows a kind of similar incident less than two weeks ago. See, TDE rapper Schoolboy Q cancelled his show at the same venue.

Get this, the reasons behind these cancellations remain murky, but some are speculating there’s a not so subtle connection to the never-ending feud, beef, hate or whatever between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. Again, we got it. We get it.

Check this out, we know Schoolboy Q and SiR are both signed to Top Dawg Entertainment, the label formerly home to Kendrick Lamar.  Emphasis on formerly. And if you recall, the dynamic trio were part of the TDE group Black Hippy, alongside Jay Rock and Ab-Soul. So feels like a connection and a pattern or are we just tripping?

“For those wondering, we sold that show out,” SiR tweeted. “It was cancelled by the venue. Not sure why. My apologies again to those that came just to see me.”

SiR said “Not sure why.” Wink, wink.

After SiR’s cancellation, Schoolboy Q commented again on X:

“SING ON THE BUS ITS OVA WIT,” to which SiR replied, “They DON’T like us,” with a laughing emoji, possibly alluding to Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us.”

Maybe they’re right. Maybe they don’t. Just sayin.

Chief Keef Claims His Account Was Hacked After Tweeting “Trump 2024”

Chief Keef is a polarizing figure. He’s considered by many to be one of the most influential rappers of the 2010s. He also has encountered legal problems for the entirety of his career. Chief Keef is unapologetic about who he is, and that’s part of why fans have continued to rock with his music. The rapper’s recent political statements, however, have rubbed those same fans the wrong way. Keef posted a photo of him standing at a podium. He tweeted “Trump 2024” alongside the photo. Bizarrely, the rapper claimed that his account was hacked mere hours later.

Chief Keef took to Instagram to alert his fans about the hack. “Twitter is hacked,” he wrote over a black background. “Management.” The timing of the hack is strange, especially given that the statement about the hack does not address what the hacker posted. It’s unclear if the “Trump 2024” tweet is being laid at the feet of the hacker, or something Chief Keef claims. This is not, however, the first time the rapper has publicly discussed Donald Trump. Following Trump’s arrest in August 2023, Chief Keef posted an edit of the former President throwing up gang signs.

Chief Keef Hyped Up Donald Trump’s Arrest Back In 2023

The rapper proceeded to praise Trump, and claim that he will do well in prison. “Nah my boy in dat b*tch bangin on dem folks,” he wrote over the photoshopped image. “I know whatever deck he on he good in the hood for sure he finna run the prison. That boy finna be eating like a MF all da Blacks finna have my boy back.” This was a far cry from the confusion Chief Keef expressed over Trump in 2018. The Windy City legend was asked what he thought about Kanye West’s endorsement of Trump, and he claimed he didn’t understand the appeal. “I am not a fan of Trump,” the rapper told Complex. “I don’t understand that connection, but Kanye does what he wants.”

Chief Keef is close with another pro-Trump rapper, Sexyy Red. Red explained her political stance during a recent appearance on the podcast This Weekend. “I like Trump,” she stated. “Yeah, they support him in the hood. We need him back because, baby, them checks. Them stimulus checks. Trump, we miss you.” Chief Keef has not officially gone on record as being a Trump supporter prior to his recent tweet. Given the claim that his account was hacked, though, it remains to be seen whether the tweet came from the rapper himself. We will have to wait and see what Keef has to say.

Kanye West Finally Sells Malibu Mansion After Slashing Price By $14 Million

Kanye West’s reputation has made a 180. The artist once hailed for his vision and perfectionism has become infamous for abandoning projects. The rapper has announced, then shelved, a dozen albums in the last decade. A similarly scattered thought process was applied to the renovation of West’s home in Malibu. The rapper reportedly gutted the house with the intention of remodeling it. Instead, he made it significantly less valuable by the time he found a buyer.

Kanye West found said buyer on July 25. According to TMZ, the rapper’s Malibu estate went into Escrow following a lengthy stint on the market. He enlisted the help of Selling Sunsets realtor Jason Oppenheim, and evidently, the reality star came through. Oppenheim pitched the estate as an “open canvas” for an adventurous homeowner to remodel to their liking. It’s an ironic pitch, given that is exactly what Kanye West was going for when he gutted it. The rapper purchased his Malibu home in December 2021. He spent over $57 million on the estate, which spans 4,000 square feet and includes four bed rooms and five bathrooms.

Kanye West Bought The Mansion For $57 Million In 2021

Unfortunately, Kanye West was not able to make his money back. He reportedly chopped $14 million off the initial asking price, due to the fact that the estate is currently unlivable. TMZ claims that most of the rooms in the mansion don’t even have walls. While the readjusted price was $39 million, the outlet says that the price the buyer agreed to pay for West’s estate is still unknown. It’s possible the rapper had to settle for a price even lower than his slashed offer.

Kanye West’s decision to break down and gut his Malibu home was detailed in a New Yorker profile in June. The rapper enlisted the help of various architects and designers to remodel the house to his exact specifications. It did not go according to plan. Tony Saxon, the man who spearheaded West’s renovation project, told the outlet that he effectively ruined a piece of art. “It’s funny,” he explained. “And not funny, in a way, to say, ‘I’m the man who single-handedly destroyed this architectural masterpiece.’ But I pretty much did… It’s always an adventure.” Here’s hoping the next owner has more luck that Mr. West.
