Kanye West Calls Kai Cenat An Industry Plant: “He’s On The Wrong Side”

Kanye West is not happy. The controversial rapper went absolutely nuclear during his recent appearance on The Download podcast. He premiered a remix of the diss track “Like That,” vowed to help bring about the “elimination of Drake,” and dismissed J. Cole outright. In the midst of these inflammatory statements, West found time to address hip-hop streamer Kai Cenat. He claimed Cenat was a textbook example of an “industry plant,” and someone who peddled lies in order to profit from artists. “[Kai] is on the wrong side of the future,” he asserted.

Kanye West did not appreciate the fact that Cenat posted negative things about his Yeezy fashion line on social media. “If you posting something negative you just on the wrong side of the future,” he explained. “We out here, stepping away from Adidas. The sh*t that Kai sent, that’s some industry plant sh*t.” West was asked by the Download host whether he actually thought Cenat was a plant, and he doubled down. “Of course!,” he exclaimed. “That exact genre is the most industry plant. It’s about like, influence and mind control.”

Kanye West Criticized Cenat For Spreading Negativity

The thing that really angered West, however, was when Cenat made reference to West’s daughter North during a stream. “Then he’s gonna mention my daughter’s name,” the rapper noted. “Don’t mention my daughter’s name and then you dissing what’s paying their $200,000 a month child support. That don’t make God happy.” Kanye West’s comments on Kai Cenat shouldn’t come as a surprise to fans, given the tension between them in recent weeks. The latter criticized West’s clothing line during a stream, and the rapper sent him an Instagram DM. Cenat shared the DM with fans, which led to him getting on the phone with West’s manager, John Monopoly.

It’s ironic that Kanye West is criticizing Cenat for negativity during an interview in which he’s blatantly attacking other people. West has a long track record of not practicing what he preaches, however, so it’s par for the course. The rapper also confirmed that he’ll be releasing Vultures 2, his second collaboration album with Ty Dolla $ign, on May 3. It was originally supposed to drop in March, but was delayed by a few months because West was “still in the lab” making changes.

Kai Cenat Can’t Believe Tyla Rejection Was Reported By Fox

Kai Cenat is known for being one of the biggest names in the entire streaming world. Overall, he has done huge numbers on Twitch, and he continues to be one of the biggest content creators they have ever had. Although he may not have the most subscribers on Twitch anymore, he is certainly at the top. He is constantly having on big guests, and there is no doubt that he can aim higher. One has to imagine he will likely be in some blockbuster films, in the not-so-distant future.

Recently, Kai had Tyla on his stream. Tyla just released her debut album, and she is on track for a truly incredible music career. That said, the stream between Kai and Tyla had one awkward moment that became viral on social media. As we reported last week, Kai tried to ask Tyla out on a date. He couldn’t even look at her while doing so, and she ultimately sent him into the friend zone. Since the clip went viral, it has been reported on TV, including FOX. Kai Cenat Reacts

Needless to say, he was a bit confused to see himself on a platform like FOX. After all, they don’t really cover matters involving Twitch. However, this was one of those instances that the network couldn’t pass up. Not to mention, what took place fit the subject matter of that particular show. Regardless, it seemed to be a tad jarring for the young man. Hopefully, Cenat can continue to grow and showcase his talent beyond his streaming room.

Kai Cenat Smiles Through The Pain As Tyla Puts Him In The Friendzone

Kai Cenat has become the biggest streamer in the world over the last year or so. Although he may not have the most subscriptions right now, he still has the biggest name recognition outside of the platform. Overall, he has had some massive artists come on his streams. For instance, Nicki Minaj and Offset have made their way into his streaming room. Furthermore, he has been offered to be in movies, which just goes to show his level of stardom. At this point, there is no doubt that bigger and better things are on the horizon for him.

On the topic of Nicki Minaj and Offset, his streams have become an integral part of a lot of artist’s press runs. Back in the day, when an artist wanted to promote their album, they would go to The Breakfast Club, Hot 97, and a whole host of other platforms. While artists still go the radio route, Kai Cenat’s stream has been added to their repertoire. The latest example is Tyla, who just dropped off her new album. Cenat and Tyla had fun throughout their stream as they played video games and interacted with the chat. However, things went south for Cenat when he asked her out on a date.

As you can see, Tyla was a bit shy about the whole thing. Subsequently, she told him that they were friends and that she wasn’t interested. Cenat continued to smile throughout the interaction, and it made for a humorous bit. What made the whole thing funnier was that Cenat wouldn’t even look at Tyla while asking her out. He was clearly a bit nervous about the whole thing, and in the end, that nervousness was validated.
