Usher Fan Loses It During Shirtless Performance Of “Climax”

A video of a fan’s reaction to Usher performing his iconic 2012 Looking 4 Myself single, “Climax,” is going viral on social media. In the clip, the fan dramatically screams out “Oh my God” over and over again while losing it for the singer. When Usher caught wind of the video, he replied: “thank u for coming..,” with a laughing emoji. He performed the track during his ongoing Past Present Future Tour.

Fans had plenty of jokes about the incident when The Shade Room shared it on Instagram. “Talking bout ‘thank you for coming.’ Oh she came alright,” one fan wrote. Another joked: “His wife so mature id cancle the whole tour.” One more remarked: “He said thank you for coming. Chile my mind went somewhere else.”

Usher Performs On His “Past Present Future Tour”

The viral clip comes after Usher had to postpone several concerts, earlier this month, due to injury. “Earlier this week, I suffered an injury to my neck while rehearsing to provide my fans with the greatest USHER show of all time,” he explained in a statement at the time. “My hope was that with physical therapy and medical treatment, I would be able to overcome the injury and be ready for opening night. Unfortunately, the injury has not healed yet, and my doctors have instructed me not to perform any shows this week.” He ended up moving three shows in Atlanta back to December and kicked off the tour in Washington D.C. on August 20.

Drake fans think the Toronto rapper is going to share footage of himself baiting Kendrick Lamar with fake info in their ongoing feud as part of his next “100 Gigs” release. The theory began when one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “I low key feel like this 100 gigs drops are eventually gonna lead to footage of Drake feeding Kendrick the fake info.” Akademiks TV ended up sharing the post on Instagram shortly afterward. That move sparked debate from fans in the comments section.

“That’s not a flex tho. He was better off acting like he didn’t know where Kendrick got the info,” one top commenter wrote. Another user added: “That was recent though… they could literally reenact it now and put it out like it was 2 months ago lol.” One more suggested it wouldn’t even change the outcome of the battle. “But my guy lost tho. So it doesn’t matter tbh cause the false info sh*t didn’t lead to drizzy winning,” they wrote.

Drake Attends Till Death Do Us Part Rap Battle

The theory comes after Drake shared footage of Kanye West speaking at OVO Fest in 2013 with his latest update to the website. “As I stand in this city right now, I just want y’all to understand that it’s been a lot of rappers that came in the game that wasn’t able to do something like this for their city,” West said on stage at the event. “We wouldn’t be able to make the music that we make. Me and Hov would’ve never made Watch The Throne if this n***a wasn’t putting pressure on us like that.” Drake and West have famously had an up-and-down relationship of their own.

Summer Walker Receives Shady Response From London On Da Track After Absent Father Accusations

Over the weekend, the mother of one of London On Da Track’s children Eboni Ivori took to her Instagram Story to put him on blast. She shared various photos of sad-looking children, which were not hers, alongside various captions accusing the producer of being an absent father. “My lil girl waiting on her dad since last Christmas,” one read. “Another pic of my lil girl waiting for her dad on her birthday last year,” said another.

Summer Walker, who also has a daughter with London, took to The Shade Room‘s comments section yesterday to chime in. “Same,” she said simply alongside an eye-roll emoji. This appears to suggest that the two women have had similar experiences with him.

London On Da Track Responds To Summer Walker

London caught wind of Walker’s remark and decided to throw a bit of his own in response. “Which baby daddy u talking bout,” he wrote with a crying emoji. LVRD Pharoh, the man the songstress shares her twin sons with, took the opportunity to defend himself. “I got mines with me right this second ‼” he wrote. “Leave the REAL FATHERS out of the internet sh*t [prayer emoji].”

Of course, Walker is no stranger to calling out London On Da Track. In 2022, she ranted about him on her Instagram Story, which she later deleted. “I literally have the worst bd on the face of the planet lol I can’t wait till I can just get some peace,” she said. The meaning behind Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber’s choice for the name of their son, Jack Blues Bieber, has been apparently revealed by E! News. The child, who the couple welcomed earlier this month, shares a name with Justin’s father, Jeremy Jack Bieber. Justin confirmed his birth in a post on Instagram on August 23. Sharing a picture of Jack’s feet, he wrote: ” WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER.”

Tons of celebrity friends popped up in the comments section to share supportive messages. Among them were Tems, Ice Spice, Ty Dolla Sign, Chance The Rapper, DJ Khaled, and many more. Khloe Kardashian remarked: “Jack blues!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!! I love this tiny foot so so much.” Kevin Hart left behind a number of heart emojis.

For most of her pregnancy, Hailey attempted to keep the situation under wraps. Speaking with W Magazine in July, she explained that she luckily didn’t grow too much, which made the decision easy. “I was honestly able to keep it quiet because I stayed small for a long time,” she said, “I didn’t have a belly, really, until I was six months pregnant, which was when I announced it. I was able to wear big jackets and stuff.” Regardless, she eventually did want the world to know.

Cam Newton discussed his feelings on marriage during a conversation with Dr. Cheyenne Bryant on his Funky Friday podcast which has been going viral on social media. In doing so, he revealed that he has eight children with three different women, but isn’t opposed to having more. “A lot of people see my situation and think that I’m not high functioning,” he told Bryant. From there, he explained his “desire to get married” is lower than his “fear of divorce,” which is causing him to take his time.

In response, Bryant disagreed, accusing him of actually being “very selectively active.” She argued: “You’re not taking your time, you’re being very action based. You’re not taking your time. You have eight kids with three different women. You are creating, procreating, and multiplying. That is not taking your time, you’re being very selectively active. You are proactively choosing where you want to be active at and where you want to take your time. You want to take your time in having a wife because of your own fears but you will…and I say this with all respect and love…you will selfishly create broken families.”

“Every child cannot have papa in the house with them,” Bryant continued. “Some child, if not all, will end up with some kind of deficit without daddy being there. Those are selfish acts at the expense of your fear. At what point do you feel the fear and do it anyway? Our latest R&B Season playlist update might be a bit scant this week, but fortunately, the new tracks from the genre’s orbit this week are top tier. First up is an unexpected but welcome collaboration from Jessie Reyez and Lil Wayne, the gentle and indie-inspired “RIDIN.” Of course, this guitar-led and percussively steady instrumental contrasts quite markedly with Tunechi’s more lewd and playful lyrical content. Nevertheless, the passion and lust definitely comes through here, especially thanks to the Toronto singer’s tender vocals that charismatically reach higher registers as the track evolves. If you’re looking for a summery jam to close out the season soon, play this with the windows down.

Also on our R&B Season update is the funky and confidently boastful new single from Chxrry22, “Poppin Out (Mistakes).” The XO signee sounds self-assured on this cut, excitedly anticipating a fun night out after a long time away from her city. Moreover, the drums here are reminiscent of some 2000s Timbo or Neptunes worship, matched with rubbery bass, gorgeous vocal harmonies, and some very light and atmospheric background synth pads. While there isn’t much of a melodic anchor in the instrumentation, the Toronto star definitely makes up for it through her own runs and refrains.

HNHH R&B Season Playlist: Stream

Elsewhere, we have another genre-fusing R&B record with Eric Bellinger and Jastin Martin’s new collab, “Chase.” This time around, it mixes some familiar ’90s soul vocal melodies with the infectious New York drill bounce that has dominated the East Coast as of late. As expected, there’s not a standout synth or melodic riff to the beat itself, but the two vocalists take center stage. Their light and airy voices mix together really well for a chemistry-filled team-up, and we’re sure that if you’re a fan of these styles, this will be right up your alley.

Fans certainly can’t blame Lizzo for wanting to take some time to relax. It’s far from the only thing she’s done for herself as of late, however. Back in May, she opened up about struggling with her mental health, revealing that she was on a better path. “I’m the happiest I’ve been in 10 months,” she explained at the time. “The strange thing about depression is you don’t know you’re in it until you’re out of it. I’m definitely not all the way as carefree as I used to be.. But the dark cloud that followed me every day is finally clearing up. My smile reaches my eyes again and that’s a win.
