Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign’s “Vultures” Delayed Again, New Release Date Revealed

Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s eagerly-anticipated joint album, Vultures, was initially expected to drop on December 15. Ye hosted a couple of listening parties to give fans a taste of what was to come, and ended up going on a controversial rant in Vegas. He took aim at Jay-Z, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and more in the rant, which ultimately went viral. With all of that being said, the album never dropped, leaving fans disappointed but not necessarily surprised.

It was later revealed that the album would only be delayed by a couple of weeks, and finally arrive on December 31. Once again, however, the project appears to have been delayed. Luckily, listeners won’t have to wait too much longer to hear it. According to Billboard, reps for Ye have confirmed that Vultures will now drop on January 12, 2024.

Vultures Reportedly Arrives On January 12

While it remains unclear what exactly has caused the delay, Ye certainly has his hands full. Aside from perfecting the upcoming album, he’s also got plans for a new city in the works. The city, tentatively named DROAM, will be in the Middle East and is currently in its first phase of development. Once it’s complete, it’s expected to span over 100K acres, which is nearly double the size of New York City. The Chicago-born MC is currently recruiting project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, builders, and more to help with the project.

While supporters respect the controversial artist for his ambition, some would prefer that he wrap up the album before diving into another endeavor. Blueface Threatens Chrisean Rock With Restraining Order, Buys Jaidyn Alexis A House

Blueface’s relationship drama only continues to heat up, with the “Thotiana” rapper getting into an argument with the mother of his third child on Instagram Live recently. Chrisean Rock arrived at his home to drop off their son, but according to her, things took an unfortunate turn. While he blasted her for having the four-month-old positioned in the vehicle without a car seat, she alleges that he physically assaulted her.

Amid the debacle, he’s taken to Twitter to sound off on the new mother, and to once again deny being Chrisean Jr.’s father. According to him, the child looks “nothing like him.” Moreover, he claims that at this point, he’s considering filing a restraining order against not only his ex, but her baby too. “Stop showing up to my house knocking on the door every other day crying talm bout let me in this yo baby,” he wrote. “Finna put a restraining order on her an the dam baby.”

Blueface Rants About Chrisean Rock On Twitter

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like their feud is showing any signs of slowing down, despite fans’ pleas. While he may be on bad terms with Chrisean, things at least appear to be going well for him with his other off-and-on lover, Jaidyn Alexis. He even surprised her with a new home just in time for the holidays, flexing the pricey purchase on Instagram.

“Merry Christmas!” he’s heard telling the MILF Music mainstay in a clip. He then takes a lap around the home, which features four stories and an elevator. “She deserves it,” he tells followers. “She earned it.”

Rihanna Shares Her Favorite Songs Of The Year To The Delight Of Afrobeats Fans

While fans are waiting on Rihanna to record some new music, she appears to be spending plenty of time listening to other’s songs. When an interviewer caught up with her during a recent Fenty x Puma event she had some thoughts on her favorite music of 2023. At first, she’s asked about her album of the year, which she doesn’t exactly have an answer for. She describes herself as more of a streaming singles girl than an albums girl and instead suggests some of her favorite songs of 2023.

In particular, she lists two tracks she’s had on repeat. Those songs are “UNAVAILABLE” by Davido and “Mnike” by Tyler ICU. In the comments of the video, fans praise her taste in afrobeats. “She has GREAT TASTE IN MUSIC!!!,” the top comment on the post reads. “Mnike is so good Rihanna is an amapiano warrior,” and “Nah fr cuz UNAVAILABLE is still on repeat” two other comments read. Some new Rihanna music might be on the way soon, though it isn’t coming from where fans expect. Video of RiRi dancing to a song from the new Nicki Minaj album Pink Friday 2 made the rounds online. The clip made enough noise that Nicki herself responded. She announced that there was yet another deluxe edition of the album coming out but it couldn’t be released until Rihanna turned in the vocals for a feature on the updated project.

RiRi hasn’t revealed when she’ll drop new music. But she did make a revelation about what will come next whenever she does. In a recent interview, she confirmed that a tour will follow her new music. She said “it’s only fair” to fans that she tour on the back of any new material she drops. Her last album Anti was released all the way back in 2016. Despite her turbulent year, Megan has done a pretty impressive job at maintaining her composure. That was the case again when she had an encounter with the former first lady Michelle Obama. She shared a pair of photos of them together to her Instagram story with the caption “The other night with Thee First Lady.” In the comments of the post fans praise both Meg and Michelle. “Everyone wanna hate on meg but she’s actually talented,” one of the top comments reads. “okay my girl michelle with the braided bun,” another says, praising the former first lady’s look.

Last week, Megan Thee Stallion shared a new soundtrack cut from the soundtrack to the upcoming Mean Girls remake. For the song, she teamed up with the film’s star and breakout pop singer Renee Rapp. The song is called “Not My Fault” and it’s off to a pretty strong start racking up more than 3.5 million streams on Spotify in less than a week since it released. Nicki Minaj Sample Causes Billie Eilish Song To Return To The Charts

Earlier this month, Nicki Minaj released her highly-anticipated 5th studio album Pink Friday 2. Just hours before the project dropped she teased that pop superstar Billie Eilish was involved. While many fans were hoping for a feature it ended up being a sample, albeit a pretty substantial one. The album’s opening track “Are You Gone Already” uses a hefty sample of Billie’s track “When The Party’s Over” from her 2018 debut album When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go.

Now 5 years after the track was originally released it’s returning to Billboard charts in the wake of Pink Friday 2. The track returned to two different charts in this week’s tracking period. Those charts are the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart and the Hot Alternative Songs chart where the song landed at number 25 and 14 respectively. Eilish has a pretty extensive history with success on the Billboard charts. Both of her studio albums debuted at the top spot on the Billboard 200 in their first weeks. She also scored a number one hit on the Hot 100 with her smash single “Bad Guy” in 2019.

Nicki Minaj Propels Billie Eilish Song Back To The Charts

Pink Friday 2 itself also made a pretty significant splash on a number of Billboard charts. The biggest achievement for the album was debuting at the number one spot on the Billboard 200. It’s a record-breaking third number-one album for Nicki Minaj putting her ahead of any other female rapper. The album also pulled sold more than 200k units in its first week alone.

14 different songs from Pink Friday 2 also landed on the Hot 100 this week. That includes three inside the top 50. The achievement is even more impressive given the time of year. During late November and throughout December Christmas songs take up a majority of the Hot 100’s top 50 as they rack up hundreds of thousands of streams. Usher Calls Rihanna A “Queen” In Response To Her Praise

During a recent interview with E! News, Rihanna was asked what kind of advice she could offer Usher for his upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show. According to her, however, there are no tips she can offer the R&B icon that he doesn’t already know. Her complimentary response prompted an equally kind comment from Usher, who dubbed RiRi a “queen.”

“Hell no, I can’t give Usher no advice,” she told the outlet earlier this week. “Usher is a natural, he’s a legend, he’s been doing this since he’s a teenager. He is made for that show.” He shared a Tweet in response to the compliment. “Real recognize real,” he wrote. “Thank U Queen @rihanna.”

Usher Says “Real Recognize Real”

During an interview with CBS Mornings in September, he discussed the honor of being selected to perform at the event. “Thirty years ago I made a commitment to offer my best. And here 30 years later now, it’s being rewarded with one of the most prestigious performances and stages anybody could ever play on,” he explained. “This is a moment that I’ve waited my entire life for and I am not coming to disappoint. This is going to be a celebration.“

While the artist surely has a lot to look forward to, he also recently celebrated the finale of his Vegas residency. He reflected on his career in a Tweet, which featured a clip of him discussing his goals with Trevor Nelson in 2004. “You know what, because I am such a theatrical artist, I would love to be in a space– If I did decide to go to Las Vegas, it would be the most phenomenal thing you’ve ever seen in your life,” he says in the clip. “I saw it then…look at me now,” he captioned it.
