With a sensational comeback, Beyoncé holds the position at No.5 in the top 23 of 2023. Kicking off her Renaissance era, she released her seventh studio album, Renaissance, on July 29, 2022. 

The anticipation for the Houston native’s return was further fueled as she embarked on the Renaissance World Tour, which commenced on May 10, 2023.

Throughout the tour, Beyoncé demonstrated her dedication and inclusivity by shining a spotlight on the LGBTQ+ community. 

In a remarkable move, she curated a show that celebrated Ballroom culture and honored LGBTQ+ icons. Not only did she incorporate members of the queer community into her performances, but she also provided a platform for their voices to be heard and celebrated.

Making Herstory

Adding another layer to her Renaissance era, Beyoncé broke barriers with her film, Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé. 

This documentary/concert project hit theaters and surpassed box office sales, becoming the first film in 20 years to achieve such success post-Thanksgiving. Beyoncé once again showcased her multifaceted talent and solidified her position as an unstoppable force in the entertainment industry.

In addition to her Renaissance triumphs, Beyoncé secured her place in history as the most awarded female artist in Grammy history. At the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, she became the first Black artist to be awarded “Best Dance/Electronic Music Album,” which added to Grammy history as she became the most awarded artist, where she has won 32 Grammys in her career.

Beyonce’s childhood home in Texas has burned down. Per TMZ, firefighters were called to the house in Houston’s Third Ward around 2am on December 25. However, they were able to control the fire after around 10 minutes of work. Additionally, the current residents, a family of four, were able to safely evacuate the house before the fire got out of control.

Meanwhile, Beyonce was seen posting up from her private jet above Brazil. Rocking long blonde hair and a bikini top and jeans combo, Beyonce posed all over the swanky interior of the jet. Furthermore, the singer also took photos with the Brazilian flag and the flag of the state of Bahia. The singer is yet to release a statement about the Houston fire.

Beyonce & JAY-Z Boo’d Up In Pre-Christmas Outing

Aside from their recent trip to Brazil, Beyonce and Jay-Z have been out and about a whole bunch lately. Beyonce looked stunning in a sheer top-hot pant combination in beige as she stepped out with Hov earlier this month. Beyonce was all legs beyond the silver shorts and completed the outfit with a matching beige fur coat. Furthermore, she and Hov appeared to have a great time, with JAY-Z posing with a pair of empty wine bottles. Rather raunchily, one image that Beyonce included was a close-up of the back of her shorts. While it was likely meant to show off the Prada label, it was a rather booty-filled shot.

Of course, 2023 has been a year filled with fantastic Beyonce outfits, in large part due to her RENAISSANCE tour. One notable outfit came around the release of the film Barbie, when Beyonce was dolled up in pink. Taken from her show in Minnesota, the queen’s social media showed off that she had her own Barbie look ready to go. The popstar absolutely killed in a metallic pink leotard with a matching cropped-tailed jacket and thigh-high boots. To cap it off, Beyoncé wore a pink visor. Of course, this level of serve is to be expected from someone as stunning as Beyonc. However, to debut the look right as the Barbie movie dropped was so many layers of perfection.

Meanwhile, B.G. has continued to eye his full return to the music industry. B.G. has vowed that 2024 will be a year to remember. “While you n-ggas sleep I’m up headed to work,” he wrote. “I gotta see my psychiatrist and go to class. B.G. has been making major strides since his release from prison earlier this year. A lot has been made of YB’s time in house arrest. But back in November, he raised some eyebrows amongst his fans. 21 Savage has received a community impact award from the City of Atlanta following the fifth year of his Christmas giveaway in the city. Savage accepted his award in a ceremony attended by his manager and his mother. The award was presented by State Representative Billy Mitchell. Per HipHopDX, this year’s drive saw Savage’s foundation team up with the Wade Walker Park Family YCMA to provide some Christmas cheer. Savage himself was there to hand out gifts.

Despite having been born in the UK, Savage has firmly made himself a part of Atlanta. The run-up to Christmas also sees “21 Savage Day” on December 21. The event typically sees Savage perform in the city as the city honors him for his musical and cultural contributions. He recently returned to Atlanta after his first-ever European tour. The tour was made possible as 2023 marked the year that Savage finally got his green card, allowing him to legally leave the United States.

DaBaby Hosts Christmas Giveaway In Charlotte

Users streamed “All I Want For Christmas” more than 23.7 million times on Christmas Eve, shattering the record Carey herself set last year by more than 2.6 million. This has become a regular occurrence, with Carey topping her own record year-on-year since 2020. The song continues to be one of the holiday’s defining singles, despite turning 30 next year.

However, Carey did lose a different battle. While she has traditionally dominated the pre-Christmas charts, this year saw Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time in the song’s history. Despite losing her top spot, Carey was humble enough to send Lee flowers and a congratulatory note for the accomplishment. “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” originally came out in 1958.

Nick Cannon, Ex Of Mariah Carey, Visits Children’s Hospital

It’s unclear why Bell excluded Cannon from the shoot. However, it sparked rumors that the pair are currently beefing.
