BIGBABYGUCCI Spits Flames On Alien-Like “Balenciaga Store Closed”

BIGBABYGUCCI is one artist that is someone you need to be paying close attention to out of the underground scene. The guy is bringing some otherworldly beats to the table that will transport you to another dimension. Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, GUCCI has not received a lot of coverage here on the site unfortunately. But he is gaining a lot of momentum as of late. The eight-year veteran is inching closer and closer to releasing his new project BABY 5, which will supersede the 2023’s When You Go To Sleep. Over the weekend, BIGBABYGUCCI offered up a track from it called “Balenciaga Store Closed”.

This track provides tons of flexes and violence over space-like instrumental that is wavy beyond belief. There are also some fun bars peppered throughout the single as well, lending some sticky lines. “She want some d**k, girl, leave me alone / I’m gone to the bread, you know I’m a dog / She hop in the bed, she just like a frog“. Besides “Balenciaga Store Closed” being a great taster to the album, BABY 5 is also a big deal for other reasons. This is coming right off the heels of his own label’s first project Better Temperatures, Vol. 1. Things are definitely going well for GUCCI, and they will be even more so on July 15.

French Montana Is Already Back Action With Skilla Baby-Assisted Banger “Skyami”

French Montana has always been someone who drops at a frequent rate. In 2024, the Moroccan rapper is proving that to be case again. So far, the veteran hitmaker has been all over the place in terms of features. In the first half of the year, we have seen him collaborate with Rick Ross and Meek Mill, Lola Brooke, Diddy, 21 Savage, and The Weekend, as well as Stunna Girl. Then, when you look at his solo catalog, he has singles out the ying-yang. From Swae Lee to Kodak Black, Lil Baby and ATL Jacob, he has been in the studio with everyone. The latter two were just a small portion of the guests on the fifth Mac & Cheese mixtape, which dropped in late February. Now, French Montana is back at it with “Skyami”, a single with first-time teammate, Skilla Baby.

Like French, the Detroit native has also been seen with a massive collection of talent. It has really been a coming out party for the rising star from the Midwest. On “Skyami”, both artists are celebrating their wins. Whether it be endless stacks of money, the women, or bossing up on the haters, they are unapologetically living their best lives. You can check out the Montana single, which he also co-produced, with the link below or on streaming services.

NBA YoungBoy Seemingly Disses Birdman & Floyd Mayweather On Latest Song, “Tears Of War”

NBA YoungBoy appears to diss both Birdman and Floyd Mayweather on his new song, “Tears of War.” In doing so, he remarks that he should’ve listened to Lil Wayne’s advice about not trusting the Cash Money Records co-founder. As for Mayweather, he’s the father of YoungBoy’s baby’s mother.

“Know Miss Tina probably sayin’, “This piece of sh*t with my daughter’ / I won’t arguе ’cause I know that soon I’ll probably be slaughterеd / Biggest snake from out of Florida, I ain’t never record her / Knew that Stunna never loved me, should’ve listened to Carter,” he raps on one point on the new six-minute song. Later, he adds: “All these f*ckin’ cars, can’t drive, I keep my feelings disguised / Scared to vent to Yaya, but I could talk to my guys / Floyd against me, he the only reason that I stopped tryin’ / We ‘posed to all be aligned, I keep my head to the sky.”

Lil Wayne previously warned YoungBoy not to trust Birdman on his 2020 collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert, “Multiple Flows,” during which he rapped: “And I had told YoungBoy to watch out for old head.” It’s unclear when YoungBoy and Birdman’s relationship turned south. They’ve been highly supportive of each other over the years with the hip-hop mogul even referring to YoungBoy as the “biggest rapper” in the game.

NBA YoungBoy Drops His Final Song Before Arrest

DJ Akademiks was the first to share “Tears of War” online, revealing while doing so that it was the final song YoungBoy recorded before police raided his home back in April. “Top Gave me this song for his fans. He said this was the last song he recorded before they raided his house. He miss yall,” Akademiks said. Be on the lookout for further updates on NBA YoungBoy on HotNewHipHop.

Last week, the British artist unveiled his new single, “I Still Know Better.” The mellow track sees him reflect on some of the lessons he’s learned along the way, the dangers of rap beef, and more. Raw, emotional lyrics are matched by a dramatic instrumental and a laid-back beat.

Headie One has more on the way too, and fans won’t have to wait too much longer to hear it. “I Still Know Better” comes ahead of the release of his upcoming album, The Last One. Wallie The Sensei Asks “Come Slide Wit Me” & Kalan.FrFr On “New” Single: Stream

Two Los Angeles MCs are holding it down on this bouncy and romantic single and brand-new video from Wallie The Sensei and Kalan.FrFr, “Come Slide Wit Me.” As you might expect, this is a West Coast-infused and summery cut about one’s ability to care for a partner, lust for them, provide, and just overall flex together throughout their lavish lives. The vocal melodies and flows are relatively simple, but there are some engaging speed-ups and extra production embellishments like strings, samples, and synth pads to flesh things out. Also, both vocalists share plenty of sung chemistry and are able to come across quite charismatically on the mic. They’ve both been pretty busy this year, with Wallie landing on G Perico’s G Slim’s Revenge back in April.

On the other hand, Kalan.FrFr just dropped his new project MAKE THE WEST GREAT AGAIN backed by hot tracks like “EVERYBODY.” If you’re a fan of that California swing, it’s a must-listen. It’s also pretty heartening to hear these two artists have some fun on a track together, as they haven’t had many link-ups together in the past. They both appeared on Rucci’s El Perro 2 a couple of years ago, so hopefully there are more chances. We should also mention that this song came out on SoundCloud three years ago, and we’re glad it’s finally widely accesible. Check “Come Slide Wit Me” out on your preferred streaming service and watch the music video below. Let us know what you thought of it in the comments section down there, where you’ll also find some notable lines. As always, stick around on HNHH for more rap drops around the clock.

Yung Gravy Teams Up With The Legendary Shania Twain On Cheeky Country Anthem “White Claw”

Yung Gravy is an artist who has had an interesting path to stardom over the years. Overall, he is known for making parody music that takes hip-hop and merges it with aesthetics from the 70s. Moreover, Gravy fancies himself as someone who is a big hit with the moms. It is a very interesting strategy, although now, it appears as though he is taking his talents to the country music lane. In fact, he is doing so with the help of none other than Canadian legend Shania Twain.

The song below is called “White Claw” and the whole thing is tongue-in-cheek. If you are a fan of Gravy and his style, then you will be used to this kind of content. As for Shania Twain, it is surprising to hear her hop on a track like this. Regardless, some fans will probably enjoy it as a little novelty song. Others may also see it as a betrayal of the hip-hop beginnings of Gravy. Either way, this is a song crafted in a lab for engagement and maybe some streams.

Let us know what you think of Yung Gravy and his new style, in the comments section down below. What do you make of white artists starting their careers in rap and then moving on to country? Do you think it is disrespectful to the culture? Does Post Malone deserve similar scrutiny? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists and their upcoming projects.

Saint James Debuts As “Mr. Perfect” With Boldy James & Elcamino On New Single: Stream

London producer Saint James has been building up quite the roster of collaborators, making his big streaming service debut with two killer MCs. Moreover, he enlisted Boldy James and Elcamino for “Mr. Perfect,” a release that followed over two decades of amazing work in the underground with hip-hop’s old and new legends. This time around, the beatmaker provides a chime-heavy, wondrous, crisply percussive, and laidback instrumental for these spitters to skate over. They previously collaborated on the cut “No Fighting” from this year, and this continues a pretty cohesive working relationship that matches cold bars with measured deliveries.

Furthermore, Saint Jame$ didn’t reinvent the wheel here, but this is a bit more of a dreamy atmosphere than what you might be used to hearing Boldy James over. As far as the lyrical work here, it’s pretty raw, gritty, despondent, or at least accepting of the dire circumstances that the lyricists faced or still face. It’s the type of hardened street narrative that Elcamino’s crafted through previous work like the 38 Spesh collab EP Martyrs Prayer II and the They Spit On Jesus LP.

As for Boldy James’ other work as of late, he’s already got an AOTY contender with Penalty Of Leadership, a spot that tracks like these prove is a tough one to knock off. If you haven’t heard Bo, Saint Jame$, and Elcamino’s “Mr. Perfect” yet, find it on your preferred streaming service or check it out on YouTube above. Let us know what you thought of it in the comments section below and check out some standout bars down there as well. As always, stick around on HNHH for the latest great rap drops around the clock.

SoFaygo Comes Through With Short But Sweet Banger “Life So Crazy”

SoFaygo is an artist who was signed to Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack imprint a couple of years ago. Overall, Cactus Jack has had a bit of an odd track record with artists. From Smokepurpp to Don Toliver to Sheck Wes, you can see that the hit rate isn’t consistent. However, SoFaygo was certainly a signing that made sense. The underground artist is known for making bangers and being heavy on the melodies. Having said that, SoFaygo has been consistent with his output, and on Friday, he gave us a new song called “Life So Crazy.”

With this latest track, SoFaygo continues to give us the sound that made him famous in the first place. From the trap production that is filled with energy, to the autotuned vocals, SoFaygo just makes you want to rage. The type of music that would be perfect to get the crowd amped during a Rolling Loud set. It’s another solid offering, and we’re sure fans are going to enjoy this one. Hopefully, we hear more very soon.

Zacari Continues To Prove His Vocal Chops With Rock-Infused “Destiny”

When Zacari first burst onto the scene, it was with the track “LOVE” which came off of the album DAMN. Overall, it was an incredible display of his vocal stylings, and fans were left mesmerizing and wanting more. The artist was subsequently officially added to the TDE roster, and since then we have gotten a project, a few singles, and some features. Much like his TDE label mates, he isn’t one to rush out music. However, when he does release, it turns out to be an event.

On Friday, Zacari blessed us with a new track called “Destiny.” With this track, Zacari continues to give us his signature vocals on top of some atmospheric production. In between his verses, we get some rock guitars that add a bit of extra flavor to the song. It makes for a unique listen that showcases the kind of versatility the artist possesses. Hopefully, this single means we are getting an album and perhaps more singles, very soon.

Let us know what you think of this new track from Zacari, in the comments section down below. What are your expectations for his next album, when he eventually drops?
