Lil Yachty Blesses Fans With Three-Track “Slide” EP

Lil Yachty has been having a massive 2023. Overall, it started with a bang thanks to his album Let’s Start Here. This album was a huge deviation from what he has done in the past. Instead of the bubblegum trap he burst onto the scene with, Yachty gave us a psychedelic rock album that was hard to ignore. There were some truly terrific songs on this project, and it continues to be lauded for its boldness. Sure, it may not have the prestige of a Tame Impala album but who cares? Yachty took a risk, and it paid off.

Moreover, singles like “Strike (Holster)” and “Poland” have been massive. Yachty has been playing with a wavy vocal aesthetic that sounds amazing. At this point, you cannot deny the fact that he has been killing it. It’s been awesome to witness, and this Friday, he decided to come back for more. The artist dropped off two new tracks called “Slide” and “SOLO STEPPIN CRETE BOY.” As it turns out, these two tracks have been put on a 3-track EP called Slide. The third track is the aforementioned effort “Strike (Holster).”

Lil Yachty Is Back

When it comes to the songs here, they all offer a similar vibe. Lil Yachty is rapping a bit more on these tracks, although the melodies are still all intact. Moreover, the production possesses a hypnotic quality that a lot of people are going to enjoy. This is yet another nice release from Yachty that will tide his fans over until the next project. Based on his recent output, there is no doubt that a new Yachty album is being heavily anticipated.

Logic Set To Produce New Asher Roth Project

Logic is someone that has been putting out a whole lot of music as of late. Overall, he is someone who has a very strong and dedicated fanbase. Although he has been clowned over the years, he seems to have matured as an artist. Consequently, many are starting to resonate with his music again. That was especially true of his latest project College Park, which was filled with a ton of massive features. Not to mention, he dropped three singles over the course of three weeks and they all featured unique sounds.

Now, however, it would appear as though Logic is about to embark on a new creative endeavor. In an episode of Fly Fidelity with Luke Bailey, former frat rapper Asher Roth spoke about what he has in store. A new EP is reportedly on the way, and to make things sweeter, Logic will be the one producing the entire thing. At the time of writing this, a release date for the project has not been revealed. However, it remains apparent that the EP is on the way, which will make fans very happy.

A lot of fans remember Asher Roth from the “I Love College” days. However, throughout his career, he has become much more than that. Father Delivers Melodic And Chill Vibes On “Hu$band 2” EP

Father is an artist who has always experimented with various styles. Moreover, he is someone who has been very consistent with his string of releases. For instance, in 2022 we got Young Hot Ebony 2. From there, we got Come Outside, We Not Gone Jump You in 2020. This is a project that featured Zack Fox, who has been a frequent collaborator with Father over the years. Another great project we got from him was back in 2019. The project in question was the Hu$band EP which contained six tracks.

Well, four years later, Father has come back with a follow-up. Appropriately, this new project is called Hu$band 2. Once again, the project contains six new tracks. Overall, this is the perfect length for an EP, and there is no doubt that fans are going to be stoked for the new material. Upon listening to this project, you will immediately recognize that he is going for a stripped-back vibe here. There are some really chilled out production choices here, and Father’s voice sounds fantastic.

Father Has Returned

If you listen to the song “Vodka Me Down,” you may get some references to “Vodka On The Weekend.” Overall, this is a track that Father worked on with iLoveMakonnen. Moreover, songs like “Sanctuary” are meant to be an homage to the artist’s love of video games. As he explains, the song resembles Diabo IV and  “a feeling of looming death as it’s being delivered from a knight on pale horse.” If you are a big fan of Father and have been waiting on new music, then this project is going to be a must-listen.

Kenny Mason Doubles Down With New EP “6”

Atlanta rapper Kenny Mason has surprise released a new EP called “6.” He’s known for his distinct style which fuses conventional hip-hop beats which is in tact on his new project. The new EP fittingly serves up 6 songs the last of which features Project Pat. The project was preceded by the single “DRACULA” and released without any prior announcement.

“6” is the second project Kenny Mason has dropped in 2023. Previously he dropped his “3” EP back in March which contained three songs. The project’s opener “100 of Nun” features Tony Shhnow. Both EPs followed his 2022 album RUFFS. The project featured Young Nudy, Jean Dawson, and DavidTheTragic. In 2022 he also made appearances on JID’s critically acclaimed album The Forever Story and the Dreamville mixtape D-Day.

Kenny Mason Surprises Fans

Kenny Mason has been releasing material since 2015. In 2020 he released his debut album Angelic Hoodrat. The album featured an appropriately titled hit song “Hit.” In the Supercut revised version of the record, he secured features from Denzel Curry, Freddie Gibbs, Angel White, and Amber Lucid. Kenny has continued dropping EPs throughout his career including 2022’s Pup Pack. The project featured another DavidTheTragic feature.

Kenny Mason has also dropped two collaborative projects. All the way back in 2014 he dropped TvDinner with Clark Scott. Then in 2016 he dropped The SUPER Tape alongside DvDx. Kenny hasn’t confirmed any more material coming soon but given how prolifically he’s released recently it probably won’t be long before fans get some new material. Rico Nasty Drops Off 5-Track “A Nasty Summer” EP

Rico Nasty is an artist who is always ready to drop off some bangers. Back in 2022, she dropped off yet another dope album called Las Ruinas. It was yet another great effort in a discography that cannot be matched right now. Nightmare Vacation and Anger Management were some other incredible albums that showcased her range. At this point, Rico is a mainstay in the game, and she is the perfect artist to watch at the major festivals. Her songs pack a huge punch, and her performances match this.

As of writing this, it is currently June 9th. Consequently, that means the Summer is just a couple of weeks away. This can be one of the best times for new music. The vibes are always immaculate and there are a wide range of musical stylings that work during this time. Of course, Rico Nasty has gone in the banger direction as she just dropped off a five-track EP called A Nasty Summer. For some fans, this latest EP will be a bit of a surprise, albeit a very nice one.

Rico Nasty With Some Bangers

Throughout this five-track project, Rico gives us some unrelenting bangers. For instance, the first track “Turn It Up” is just exceptional and will have you bouncing off of the walls. Subsequently, we get some nightcore vibes on “Pussy Poppin” which gives us a new sped-up version. Lastly, “Dirty,” “Countin’ Up,” and “Big Titties” continue to bring that signature Rico Nasty energy. Overall, this is going to be a fun listen for a lot of fans.

Hopefully, this new EP is an indication that Rico will be dropping more in the not-so-distant future. She is someone that fans love to hear from, and this new EP is an example of that. Fivio Foreign Stuns Fans With New “Without Warning” EP That Features Kanye West

Fivio Foreign is one of the leaders of the current movement in Brooklyn drill. Overall, he is a veteran in the game who continues to prove his talents. However, for a lot of mainstream fans, they really garnered respect for him thanks to his verse on Kanye West’s “Off The Grid.” The Donda cut that also features Playboi Carti was a huge hit, and Fivio gained quite a few fans from that. Since that time, he has done his best to keep the momentum going with plenty of songs, projects, and features.

Earlier today, the artist surprised people with a new song called “Concussion” that features none other than Kanye West. Of course, these two have a history together. However, it was still surprising seeing as though Ye has not hinted at any new music as of late. Moreover, Fivio had given no indication that the song would be released. As it turns out, he has dropped an eight-song EP called Without Warning, and it can be found on SoundCloud.

Unfortunately, the album is not organized on his SoundCloud account. This means fans will have to parse the album in reverse order based on when the tracks were uploaded. Either way, we have tried to embed as many songs as possible. Overall, the only song that would not work is “Rumors,” although it can still be found on his page. Once again, this album has that signature drill sound that fans will appreciate. Also, how can you say no to a surprise release?

It will be interesting to see where Fivio goes from here. This is a solid release, and a lot of fans are going to want a full-length album soon. Cochise Drops 7 New Tracks On “No One’s Nice To Me” EP

Cochise is an artist who has an energetic sound. In this era, energy is really all you need sometimes. Although he is much more than just a bundle of energy, it is still an important factor in getting fans to listen to your music. Overall, when you go to a concert, you want it to be loud. Moreover, you want something that you can rage and mosh to. Travis Scott is one of the pioneers of this movement. However, there are plenty of other artists who have carried the mantle. Playboi Carti is someone who comes to mind. Interestingly enough, Cochise is compared to Carti all of the time.

That said, Cochise is an artist who continues to grow his fanbase. He subsequently does this by creating music that can pop off at a festival. Consequently, he attracts more fans who otherwise wouldn’t be familiar with him. Festivals are a place of music discovery, and you will only listen to those who impress and convince you. Cochise is someone who proves to be very persuasive. Now, he is offering a double dose of persuasion with his latest EP dubbed No One’s Nice To Me.

If you are looking for a lot of new music, well, you may be fairly disappointed here. Overall, there are only seven tracks to be found on this project. However, he definitely uses up that time to his advantage. Furthermore, you have probably already heard the third track “KANEKI,” which is a song we covered a couple of weeks ago. As for the sound here, we are hit with a plethora of rage beats. Moreover, Cochise gives us a range of powerful and energetic flows.

Whether or not Cochise will follow this up with a full-length LP still remains to be seen. However, there is no denying that this will tide fans over until that time. Russ Reveals New EP From CHOMP Series, “CHOMP 2.5”

New Jersey rapper Russ has released a new EP, titled CHOMP 2.5. The six-song EP is the artist’s third installment of his CHOMP series and features the work of various notable producers. Russ’ next full-length album is slated for this summer, titled CHOMP 3, with CHOMP 2.5 preceding its release. The EP features one self-produced track, “Wicked Race.” It also features contributions by producers Statik Selektah, Havoc, The Alchemist, Boi-1da, and 9th Wonder. The EP follows CHOMP (2020) and CHOMP 2 (2021). The EP and album notably feature artists like Snoop Dogg, Benny the Butcher, Busta Rhymes, and more.

Russ announced the release of CHOMP 2.5 yesterday, saying “CHOMP 2.5 @ MIDNIGHT.” The tweet led to fans’ excitement and was met with responses from users that “[can’t] wait” to hear the EP. The rapper then took to Twitter again shortly after the EP’s release. He shared that he “[loves]that people are havin to look up some of the bars and punchlines on CHOMP 2.5.” He added, “That’s the kind of rap I like.”

Russ Adds To Fan-Favorite Series

The EP explores themes of self-reflection and growth, with songs like “Perfectionist” about the artist “working on becoming the person” he wants to be. CHOMP 2.5 showcases the artist reminiscing about his past, and also celebrates his continuous, ever-changing journey to success.

Russ also shared a single earlier this month, titled “Fire.” The artist released “PUT YOU ON GAME” in January of this year, which he followed up shortly after with “Can’t Get This Right.” Several singles dropped over the months in 2022, which was also year of consistent releases for the artist. 2022 releases included “Home,” “BET,” “Last Night,” and more. Additionally, Russ discussed turning down $50 million for his music catalog in the song “Too Much” in December 2022. He also shared that he finished writing his second self-help book earlier this month. His first book titled “IT’S ALL IN YOUR HEAD,” debuted in 2019.

redveil Drops 6-Track EP “playing w/ fire” Featuring JPEGMAFIA & Mekdelawit

redveil is one of the best young artists out right now. Although he is just 18 years old, he has already made quite an impression on music listeners. However, it should be noted that the Maryland native is actually going to be turning 19 on April 20th, which is tomorrow. That said, he has been celebrating the run-up to his birthday with some new tracks. For instance, he has dropped songs like “giftbag.” Moreover, he recently came through with “black enuff” which features none other than JPEGMAFIA.

All of this has been a run-up to the release of his new EP, playing w/ fire. Fans have been very excited about this project and it is easy to see why. redveil is someone who produces all of his music. Furthermore, he produces for other people. This versatility has contributed to why fans resonate with him. Not to mention, the hunger he has as a young artist certainly helps his case. That said, playing w/ fire has arrived and it contains six tracks, including the two mentioned above. At just over 15 minutes in length, this project wastes no time.

redveil Drops Six New Bangers

As you will see on the tracklist here, the only features are from JPEGMAFIA and Mekdelawit on the track “f2g.” For the rest of the project, redveil relies heavily on himself, which makes sense. He is an artist who produces his own stuff, and that self-reliance only makes him strong and more versatile. The longest song here is “captain” which lasts 3 minutes and some change. For the most part, redveil likes to keep things short and sweet, which is admirable. Additionally, this simply plays into recent trends when it comes to songwriting.

With redveil releasing this EP, we’re sure he is working on a larger album that will drop in the future. Hopefully, the soon-to-be 19-year-old can continue this momentum. Pi’erre Bourne has proven his versatility time and time again. The South Carolina native first hit it big as a producer. In that role, he created several bangers for some of hip-hop’s A-list. His hits include “Magnolia” by Playboi Carti and the bombastic “Gummo” by Tekashi 6ix9ine. Additionally, Bourne has produced songs for such industry heavyweights as Drake and 21 Savage. However, after solidifying himself as a producer, Bourne decided to pick up a mic himself. Subsequently, as a rapper, Bourne has continued showing off his talent in all aspects of the music game.

Furthermore, as a result of his undeniable talent, Bourne has cultivated quite a loyal following. Now, his fans will now have a new project to smile about. Bourne took to Instagram last Friday to announce his new ep. The multitalented hitmaker didn’t disclose much in the way of details. However, he did announce that the project will be tilted Grails and that the project will be released this Friday. These are exciting times for Bourne. He is currently on tour He released his much anticipated single, “Honeyberry 2,” in March. The song is a sequel to his 2017 hit, “Honeyberry.”

Pi’erre Bourne Revels In Latest Triumph

However, that’s not the only highly anticipated song Bourne has released this year. “IG,” in February. Fans had been clamoring for the song’s release after it was featured in several of Bourne’s Instagram videos. Elsewhere, Bourne has been enjoying the success of his latest album, Good Movie. The album was released last September to positive reviews from fans. Additionally, Bourne has enjoyed success on the road. He announced a worldwide Good Movie tour last year. Subsequently, the producer-turned-rapper has performed across the U.S. and Canada as well as multiple cities in Europe.

Although some fans still consider Bourne a producer first, his talent as a rapper is hard to ignore. Bourne follows in the first steps of the likes of Timbaland, Dr. Dre and Pharrell, who went from big-name producers to artists. It will be exciting to see if Bourne can maintain his success and join the ranks of those legends as his career progresses.
