Russell Westbrook Hit With Harsh Reality Check

Russell Westbrook used to be one of the best point guards in the entire NBA. However, in recent years, Westbrook has seen a bit of a regression. Overall, fans do not believe in him the way they once did. It is a sad reality, albeit one that he must deal with moving forward. Even amongst actual NBA teams, there is this certain narrative surrounding Russ. No matter what he does, people are going to put him under the microscope, and that will not be changing.

Right now, Russ is dealing with the fallout from a trade involving the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers. Subsequently, Russ is on the Jazz who have made it clear that they want to buy out his contract. This is a stressful time for the former Laker, who must now decide whom he wants to play for. For now, it seems like three teams re in the running for Westbrook. This includes the Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, and Chicago Bulls. However, there are no guarantees that any of these teams end up taking him.

Russell Westbrook Moving Forward

While speaking on Fan Duel TV today, Shams Charania had some interesting comments about Russ. Unfortunately, they come across as a bit of a harsh reality check that will make Westbrook feel bad. “When you look at teams around the league, there’s not a spot for Russell Westbrook,” Charania said. “It’s a slow-moving market, and we’ll see if he’ll be able to find a home.” For now, one would have to assume that Russ will find a team before the postseason. After all, he is absolutely still a serviceable player, regardless of the narratives out there right now.

No matter what, this is going to be a very interesting situation to monitor over the coming months. Hopefully, for Russ, he is able to go out there and change how people feel about him. Until then, let us know which team you would want Russell Westbrook to play for, in the comments down below. Karl Malone’s Past Put On Blast As NBA Puts Him On Dunk Contest Panel

Karl Malone is seen as a legend in the NBA, however, no one really talks about him, and for good reason. Prior to LeBron’s ascent up the all-time scoring list, Malone was second behind Kareem. Now, he is third on the all-time list. Although these are great numbers that make you a Hall-of-Famer, no one likes to acknowledge this. Of course, this is because Malone impregnated a 13-year-old when he was just 20 years old. Malone was in college at the time and he failed to take responsibility for what happened. While some may have given him a pass for this years ago, we now live in an age where you cannot simply sweep something like this under the rug. Once again, rightfully so.

Overall, Malone has largely been forgotten when it comes to NBA celebrations. Due to his past actions, the league likes to pretend as though Malone doesn’t exist. However, it seems like they are changing course on this philosophy, much to the dismay of fans. This year’s All-Star game is in Utah, which is where Malone spent the majority of his career. As a result, the league is inviting Malone to be one of the dunk contest judges.

Karl Malone Gets New Role

As you can imagine, fans are flabbergasted by this decision. While the All-Star game is in Utah, there are plenty of other past Jazz stars that could have been asked. Bringing Malone into the fold is completely out of pocket and opens up a huge can of worms. Moreover, it is simply bad PR for the entire NBA. One has to wonder what the league was thinking when they decided to make this move. As one fan put it, “I get that the NBA wanted a former Jazz player to be a part of this thing, but this is where you call up Carlos Boozer or Greg Ostertag or Felton Spencer instead. This just doesn’t fly in 2023.”

Below, you can find more reactions from the Twittersphere. You will be hard-pressed to find a single person who actually agrees with this latest move by the league. Only time will tell whether or not they decide to reverse course on all of this. Let us know what you think of the move, in the comments below. Kevin Durant Looks Extremely Happy In Phoenix

Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the entire NBA. Overall, he is someone who can be a game-changer every single night, and teams are aware of that. With Durant having issues in Brooklyn, it became clear that a ton of teams wanted to take advantage by going out and trying to secure a trade. In the end, it was the Phoenix Suns who came out on top thanks to a deal that sent a lot of players to Brooklyn. Subsequently, the Suns are seen as title favorites right now, and there is no doubt that KD is ready to get it started in his new home.

For now, however, KD will not be able to play for the Suns until after the All-Star break. This is due to the fact that he is currently nursing an injury. However, he will eventually be allowed to come back. Suns fans are eagerly waiting for that day to come, and so is Durant. Although he can’t play, he is still allowed to show up to the team’s games. For instance, last night, Durant made his very first appearance in Phoenix as a member of the Suns.

Kevin Durant Standing Ovation

As you can see in the tweet up above, Durant was hit with a massive standing ovation. Overall, Durant couldn’t have been happier as he let out a big smile while waving to the crowd. The Suns fanbase has been yearning for an NBA title. Consequently, it feels surreal that they have a player like Durant. While it still remains to be seen how Durant will play with his new team, there is no doubt that he will be beloved in the city.

If you are a Suns fan, you can’t help but be excited by the notion of Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, and KD on a court together. They are going to be tough to beat for a long time. That said, let us know what you think the Suns will accomplish this season, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports world.

LeBron James Gets Some Good News

LeBron James is easily one of the greatest players in the history of the NBA. Just recently, he surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for first on the all-time scoring list. Overall, it was a truly incredible record to break, and it will probably be years before anyone else breaks it again. That said, it is clear that LeBron is one of the biggest legends in the history of the NBA. One can only hope that he has a solid end to his career. After all, it would be fitting for all of his accomplishments.

However, this season has been a bit of a struggle for James and the Lakers. On one hand, LeBron has been great individually. Although, the Lakers continue to struggle. Moreover, James has missed the last three games due to a lingering foot problem. This is one of those injuries that could very easily derail the Lakers’ season, and fans have been hoping that not to be the case.

LeBron Coming Back?

Now, LeBron and the Lakers are actually getting some good news. While speaking to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, head coach Darvin Ham said it is very likely that LeBron will be playing tonight. The Lakers are set to take on the New Orleans Pelicans, who are dealing with some injuries of their own. Overall, this will be a huge boost to the Lakers, especially since LeBron averages 30 points per game. Furthermore, it will be his first game with the new players on the Lakers, including D’Angelo Russell and Malik Beasley.

Moving forward, it will be interesting to see how the Lakers respond. They are in desperate need of a winning streak, especially with the All-Star breaking coming up. If they can’t get that done, then they can ultimately kiss this season goodbye. Let us know what you think of the Lakers, in the comments below. Ben Simmons’ Looming Fate In Brooklyn Revealed

Ben Simmons has not been very good for the Brooklyn Nets. Overall, he was supposed to turn the Nets into a big three. This big three would include Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. However, we know how that turned out. Kyrie and KD are now in the Western Conference, while Simmons is by himself on a Nets team that has completely retooled. Moreover, Simmons has not been particularly good, and the team is starting to lose patience with him. Needless to say, things have gone bad to worse for his career.

On top of all of this, Simmons has reportedly been dealing with injury problems. However, his head coach Jacque Vaughn doesn’t seem all that convinced that there is an issue. That said, there now seems to be a lack of trust between Simmons and the Nets organization. This has made everything that much worse for the Nets who could very well be looking to move on from Ben in the offseason.

Ben Simmons On The Way Out?

According to Jake Fischer of Yahoo! Sports, Simmons’ fate is pretty well sealed. It is now very likely that the Nets will try to move him, even if it isn’t easy to do. “What becomes of Simmons and the final two years and nearly $80 million remaining on his contract after this season is of course another dynamic to monitor in Brooklyn,” Fischer wrote. “The Nets are widely expected to gauge what trade market could materialize for Simmons after his disappointing campaign comes to a close. The three-time All-Star is still far from the form he exhibited during his best days in Philadelphia.”

Recently, a report came out suggesting that Simmons had no trade value right now. If that is actually true, then the Nets are in big trouble moving forward. Once the offseason arrives, it will be very interesting to see what is made of Simmons. Until then, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports world. Additionally, let us know which team you think might be a good fit for Simmons, in the comments down below.

Bradley Beal Punished After Shoving Referee

Bradley Beal is one of the best players in the league. However, he is currently stuck on the Washington Wizards which is basketball purgatory. Although, Beal has maintained an attitude similar to that of Damian Lillard. He has a ton of confidence in his team, and he believes they have what it takes to someday win an NBA title. Overall, the Wizards probably won’t win anything anytime soon. In fact, they would be better off blowing it all up like the Utah Jazz or Oklahoma City Thunder. Regardless, Beal remains loyal.

This season, it is looking like the Wizards could end up missing the playoffs again. For now, they are in 10th place in the Eastern Conference, which means they could be primed to make the play-in round. This isn’t a sure-fire way to get into the postseason, although it could be their way in. Either way, this is not what Beal was hoping for when he signed that Super Max deal with the team. In fact, things are going from bad to worse for Beal at this point.

Bradley Beal Hit With Fine

In the video clip above, you can see Beal shoving a ref after a collision near the side of the court. This happened during a game on Saturday, and since that time, the league has been reviewing the infraction. Of course, you can’t go out and put your hands on an official. Beal should know that by now, and for the most part, the league definitely agrees. Subsequently, the Washington Wizards star has been hit with a $25,000 fine, according to Clutch Points. It is a hefty fine for the average person, however, for someone like Beal, this is hardly anything.

At this point, the real story here is that he would push a referee with such gusto. While the officials can be bad in the way, you have to respect them at all times, no matter the situation. Either way, we’re sure Beal has learned from this situation and will not be doing that again. Let us know what you think of all of this, in the comments section below. Skip Bayless Has No Love For Russell Westbrook

Skip Bayless is someone who has been known to be incredibly harsh when talking about players throughout the NBA. Overall, a lot of fans do not care at all for the commentary that Skip provides. However, he has based his whole career around the concept of trolling, so it should come as no surprise that he gets ratings. After all, controversy is what gets people to watch your show, and he understands this. Whether it be LeBron James or Patrick Mahomes, Bayless will find a way to criticize the best athletes around.

One of the basketball players that Bayless has put on blast quite a bit as of late is none other than Russell Westbrook. Westbrook has not been having a particularly great season. In fact, he was recently traded to the Utah Jazz. Subsequently, he is set to be bought out by the team. This will then lead to him picking his next franchise. For now, he has two main options, including the Clippers and the Bulls. However, the Heat seem to be a darkhorse option here.

Skip Bayless Rips Russ

As for Skip Bayless, he is not a big fan of Westbrook, whatsoever. He firmly believes that the point guard commits way too many turnovers and is not worth the trouble. His opinion of Westbrook was reflected in some very harsh comments that were made on Undisputed this morning. “He’s just more trouble than he’s worth. I wouldn’t want him on my team,” Bayless said. “Russell Westbrook has the worst pair of hands of any point guard I’ve seen in high school, college, or the pros. The turnovers are so bad.”

At this point, the narrative around Russell Westbrook has become downright disrespectful. Very few people actually believe in his abilities right now, and it has been striking to watch. However, he does have an opportunity to prove everyone wrong. Ultimately, it will be up to him as to whether or not he accomplishes that. As always, let us know what you think of these comments from Bayless, down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world.

Shannon Sharpe Gets Brutally Honest About Zion Williamson

Shannon Sharpe is one of the most entertaining men on sports talk television. Every single weekday, he sits across from none other than Skip Bayless and they debate the latest topics. Overall, it is a very fun show and while the two get heated, there is no shortage of great punditry. Although some people might hate these kinds of shows, you cannot deny the fact that they can be a whole lot of fun to consume. This is especially true following a big sporting event like the Super Bowl or even the NBA Finals.

Lately, a big topic throughout the NBA world has been none other than Zion Williamson. Unfortunately, Williamson has been dealing with a pretty bad hamstring injury. Moreover, it seems like this injury may very well keep him out of the lineup for the entire season. Needless to say, the Pelicans are hitting the panic button as Williamson is constantly injured. On Undisputed today, Sharpe got to speak on Zion, and he ushered in a very harsh truth.

Shannon Sharpe Reacts

When asked if the Pelicans can have any confidence in Zion, Sharpe was just brutally honest. Overall, it was not exactly kind to Zion, however, that is not the goal of the show. In fact, if you have followed the Pelicans, you will probably agree with Shannon. “It’s a lower number than 0. They should have zero confidence that Zion will be healthy for the rest of his career,” Sharpe said. This is an unfortunate notion to consider, especially since Zion is so fun to watch. However, he is a big guy, and typically, larger players have a harder time staying healthy. Hopefully, he can prove Sharpe wrong.

When the season started, the Pelicans were looking amazing. Now, however, it is looking increasingly likely that they will miss the playoffs. If you’re a fan of the team, all of this has been incredibly difficult to watch. Let us know what you think of Sharpe’s remarks, in the comments below. LeBron James Injury Begins To Elicit Real Concern

LeBron James had a huge game with the Los Angeles Lakers last Tuesday. For those who may not remember, LeBron was playing against the Oklahoma City Thunder with the scoring record in mind. Overall, it was a very emotional night for the entire team. However, James came through with an amazing 38-point performance that ultimately gave him the record. This was one of the biggest moments in LeBron’s entire career, and it is a testament to his longevity in the sport.

Unfortunately, Lakers fans have not seen LeBron in the lineup since breaking the record. Immediately after his record-setting night, he decided to sit against Milwaukee. For the most part, fans just thought that he was taking part in some load management. Although, it has become clear that his injury is more than that. In fact, LeBron has officially missed three games in a row, and now, fans are worried about what is going on.

LeBron James Out

According to a report from Marc Stein, LeBron James has actually been dealing with this injury for quite some time. It is even to the point where it is “unbearable” for James on some occasions. “I was told that Tuesday’s game, the record-breaking game, I was told LeBron was severely struggling with that foot injury he has,” Stein wrote. “It’s something that’s been nagging him for a few weeks already, but it gets to point where it just gets unbearable. He plays through it. And people that talked to me said he was really struggling with that foot.”

This is going to be a bit of an issue for the Lakers, moving forward. LeBron has their MVP this season and without him, they probably won’t make the playoffs. Consequently, that will be two years in a row without a postseason appearance for the purple and gold. Let us know what you think of all this, in the comments down below. Shaq Expresses Jealousy Over LeBron’s New Record

Shaq is someone who has had some very strong opinions about the new generation of NBA stars. Even when it comes to LeBron, Shaq hasn’t always been super complimentary. Overall, this has led to some fans labeling O’Neal as a hater of sorts. However, his comments can be chalked up to the fact that he is a competitive person. Additionally, he played in a much tougher era, and that has ultimately clouded his judgment on what guys are doing today. No matter what though he is a legend and people look to him for his takes.

Over the weekend, Shaq got to host his massive Super Bowl party. While there, he had a whole lot of fun. Moreover, he then got to witness an incredible game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. In the end, the Chiefs won the game, much to the delight of the midwest. Meanwhile, the Eagles go home empty-handed much to the chagrin of their insane fanbase. No matter what, it was an amazing weekend.

Shaq Talks LeBron

Extra TV was at the event and they got to speak with the former NBA superstar. When asked what he thought of LeBron’s latest record, Shaq had some very interesting thoughts. Essentially, he admires James for staying humble. This is mostly because Shaq wouldn’t be the same way. “It was a professional jealousy moment. If it was me, I would have been arrogant for 19 seconds,”Shaq said. “I know he is a humble kid, I know he is going to give the answer, ‘I don’t want to be involved in the debate of who the greatest,’ I am jealous of having the conversation… It is nice to be ‘Who’s the greatest? Him, or him?’ Everybody would love to be in that position.”

Overall, it is very clear that Shaq has a lot of respect for what LeBron has accomplished here. It will take decades for anyone to even come close to the record again. Hopefully, LeBron is able to at least enjoy the record for years to come. The only person in the league right now who could break it is Kevin Durant, and even then, it is unlikely that he does it.
