Beyonce Clears Up Misconceptions About Her Natural Hair & Shows It Off

Beyonce’s hair care brand Cécred has gotten some flack online for her use of extensions and for allegedly ripping off a package design. Still, in the face of all that, she still stands by the idea that people who wear wigs or style their hair in an additive way can still have healthy and gorgeous natural hair. Moreover, the Houston superstar recently shared a video in which she shows off her hair and speaks about what processes and routines she likes to indulge in. No matter where you fall on the Cécred debate, that’s no reason to belittle or over-exaggerate her relationship with her locks.

“The stigma and misconception is that people that wear wigs don’t have long and healthy hair,” Beyoncé expressed in the voice-over of the clip below. “That’s some bulls**t, ’cause it ain’t nobody business. I’ll get back to my hair. I like to blow-dry my hair on medium heat, ’cause I try to stay away from as much heat as possible, and using an old-school pressing comb. I’ve chosen color over perms or relaxers. I’ve been using these products, and my hair has never grown so long, never been so moisturized.

“And I’m very grateful for those who have allowed the products to speak for themselves,” Beyoncé continued concerning Cécred. “We are building the community that I’ve dreamt about. I’m proud of the ingredients, I’m proud of the way that it’s making people feel, I’m proud that it’s not one-dimensional, and that it’s for multiple textures. I’m very, very grateful for all of the support, and I’m very thankful to you guys. And I just ask that you continue to share your experiences with this brand.”

Meanwhile, with an upcoming documentary inspired in part by her new album COWBOY CARTER, it seems like we will be getting a lot more from this era. What are some other questions, praises, or concerns you have for Cécred? However you may feel, drop them in the comments section down below. Kanye West Wants To Have A Threesome With Michelle Obama: “Got To F**k The President’s Wife”

Kanye West says if he could sleep with any third woman in a threesome with his wife, Bianca Censori, he’d go with the former first lady, Michelle Obama. He made the remark while speaking with Justin Laboy on The Download podcast over the weekend. When Laboy prompted the question, Ye took a moment to collect his thoughts. “Michelle Obama,” he revealed before bursting into laughter. “Got to f*ck the President’s wife.”

Elsewhere during the interview, West premiered a new remix of Metro Boomin and Future’s song, “Like That.” Similar to Kendrick Lamar’s verse on the original version, Ye takes aim at Drake with his lyrics. He raps: “It’s a wrap for n**gas, where’s Lucian? When Do Tickets For Coachella 2025 Go On Sale?

Yesterday (April 21) was the final day of Coachella 2024. You know what that means: Time to start thinking about Coachella 2025! I’m only half-joking: While most of this year’s attendees probably want a minute to unwind from the 2024 festivities, Coachella organizers are already gearing up for 2025. In fact, mere hours ago, the dates for next year’s festival were announced.

When Do Tickets For Coachella 2025 Go On Sale?

Next year’s festival starts with Weekend 1 on April 11 to 13, 2025, followed by Weekend 2 on April 18 to 20, 2025. As for tickets, the earliest opportunity to get those will be during the Advance Sale, which starts on May 3. There’s not much specific information available about the Advance Sale as of this post, but keep an eye on Coachella’s socials and their website for more info.

Beyond ticket sales, there are some other information drops to look forward to as well. None of those have been announced yet, but we can look to historical precedent to estimate when some things might start happening. For instance, this year’s Coachella lineup was announced in January, so it wouldn’t be surprising for the 2025 lineup to arrive that January, too. Meanwhile, assuming ticket pricing stays mostly the same between this year and next, the 2024 prices could be indicative of what to expect next year.

What Are The Dates For Coachella 2025?

Coachella 2024 closed less than 12 hours ago. Headliners Doja Cat, Lana Del Rey, and Tyler The Creator delivered, as captured in photos by Uproxx’s Philip Cosores, and Sabrina Carpenter edited her outro of “Nonsense” to tease, “Coachella, see you back here when I headline.” There’s a substantial wait before the Coachella 2025 headliners are announced, but the annual festival wasted no time in announcing its 2025 dates.

What Are The Dates For Coachella 2025?

Early Monday morning, April 22, Coachella confirmed that Coachella 2025 will kick off with Weekend 1 on April 11 to 13, 2025 and return for Weekend 2 on April 18 to 20, 2025. The festival will, yet again, happen at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. According to Coachella’s announcement, the Advance Sale for 2025 tickets begins on Friday, May 3.

Using the past as the guide, Coachella 2025 lineup, including the headliners, will probably be announced in January 2025.

Prices for 2024 tickets will probably be instructive for 2025 prices, and General Admission three-day passes were listed as follows for this year’s festival: Tier 1 ($499 plus fees), Tier 2 ($549 plus fees), and Tier 3 ($599 plus fees). VIP weekend passes were also offered in two tiers — Tier 1 ($1,069 plus fees) and Tier 2 ($1,269 plus fees).

Adin Ross Chastizes Kendrick Lamar For Not Dropping A Drake Response, Laments Double Standards

Adin Ross has built a massive platform for himself over these past few years. Overall, his streams are some of the biggest in the world, and he has helped build a whole new site with Kick. At this point, one could assume he is one of the richest streamers in the world. Although he recently said he was retiring, it seems like that was a lie. In fact, over the weekend, he was streaming with a plethora of people, including xQc and even DJ Akademiks.

Ross did find himself streaming by himself at points, and it was here where he gave a detailed outlook on the Kendrick Lamar and Drake feud. Overall, Ross is known for having a good relationship with Drake. The artist has called Ross on stream a whole bunch of times, and they are both affiliated with Stake. Needless to say, they have a working relationship that is blossoming in real-time. Having said all of that, one can make the safe assumption that Adin is siding with Drake as it pertains to the Kendrick Lamar feud. In fact, the feud went a step further this weekend with the “Taylor Made Freestyle” which featured AI vocals from Snoop Dogg and 2Pac.

Adin Ross Weighs In

In the video clip above, Ross came out and said that this is all a very bad look for Kendrick. Moreover, he noted that there is a double standard at play here. He believes that Kendrick is getting a pass for not responding when Drake would be getting roasted by now. Furthermore, Ross is confused as to why Kendrick hasn’t given a response, especially since he instigated the whole thing. It’s not a unique take in the slightest, although it does speak to how Drake fans are viewing this beef right now.

Let us know what you think of this take from Adin Ross, in the comments section down below. Is he qualified enough to even speak on this kind of stuff? Will you be listening to Adin Ross on these matters, going forward? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists and their upcoming projects.

Kanye West Explains Why He’s Dissing Drake Again Despite Their Recent Reconciliation

We’ll probably never know if Kanye West was asked to insert himself in the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef or if it was of his own volition. Either way, he seems to think there’s truth to both narratives, as he explained during a recent interview on Justin LaBoy’s podcast, The Download. For those unaware, the Chicago artist premiered his remix of “Like That” on this show following some leaks and previews from Adam22 that initially spread like wildfire on social media. When he played (and later released) the CDQ version, though, along with Metro Boomin’s blessing, folks really knew that he was getting into it.

However, a lot of folks brought up that Ye and Drizzy had already “made up” with their Larry Hoover benefit concert in 2021, something that LaBoy asked his guest about. “Y’all did the Hoover concert together,” he told Kanye West. “Me and the rest of the world thought y’all were back cool. What happened after that?” “It cuts Drake’s soul,” he responded. “It’s like he signed his soul to the devil to not be cool with me. This is his job, to go against God, and that cuts his soul.”

Kanye West Says Drake Isn’t In His Corner Despite Larry Hoover Benefit Show For This Reason: Watch

Elsewhere during this interview, the controversial designer also offered his own perspective on what made him want to do the “Like That” remix, and while it’s an unconfirmed account, it’s probably as much as we’ll get about it. He said that Future was the one who hit him up to do the verse, and that folks in the rap game are “energized” by these shots at the OVO mogul. “Everybody is very, very excited about the elimination of Drake,” Kanye West expressed on The Download. In addition, he also claimed that Sir Lucian Grainge, the head of UMG, is The Boy’s father due to the massive deal that they inked.

“Drake has a rich baby daddy, named Lucian [Grainge] and Universal,” the VULTURES creative stated. “He’s like, ‘My daddy got it. My daddy control the spins. My daddy got the DSPs. Drake has a rich baby daddy named Lucian.” He also said that Grainge is a puppet of “people who control the banks in Africa.” For more news and the latest updates on Kanye West and rap’s attempted coup d’état against Drake, stick around on HNHH.

Mozzy “Children Of The Slums” Review

Mozzy’s Children Of The Slums is a 17-track story that weaves the Sacramento rapper’s personal journey with a universal message of survival. The album also happens to be Mozzy’s eighth full-length studio LP and second under Collective Music Group/Interscope Records. Children Of The Slums features a solid lineup of collaborators including Fridayy, Eric Bellinger, E Mozzy, Celly Ru, and Afira but it’s impossible to drown him out. As expected, each of these names adds their unique flair to the overall narrative. Standout tracks like “Jaded” and “Living Proof” show Mozzy’s ability to blend different sounds and styles. Most important is the message behind Children Of The Slums. Those familiar with Mozzy might see this as a continuation of the poignant storytelling that marked his major label debut, Survivor’s Guilt, but that would be putting it too simply.

Pain, Struggle, And Survival

The album opens with not one, but two songs with a raw message of loss and betrayal. “Damn” is a mellow track that immediately sets the tone for the introspective journey ahead where Mozzy calls out a fair-weather friend over a beat that’s both haunting and soothing. Almost hurriedly, and to ensure the listener remains trapped, he moves on immediately to “Still Hurt.” On this, he layers a soulful sample over hi-hats, as Mozzy admits the lingering pain from the loss of loved ones.

A lot of songs on the album are just like these: Mozzy’s open wounds, shared with the world, perhaps in hopes of finding solace. On “Free JuJu”  he pays homage to a lost guide and a person he wishes he could have set on the right path but couldn’t save in time. This is nearly the same as “Miss Big Bruh,” another heartfelt tribute. However, this time, it’s to a brotherly figure whose absence leaves a void in Mozzy’s heart.

But Mozzy is not just sad; he is a survivor.  “I Can’t Go Out” and “If I Die Right Now” are powerful declarations of Mozzy’s determination to not just survive, but leave a legacy. In a similar vein, “I Can’t Go Out” is a passionate refusal to succumb to the streets while “If I Die Right Now” questions the depth of loyalty among friends and fans alike.

Reflection And Closure

When it is not about his sadness, Children Of The Slums is also deeply introspective. “Jaded” and “Living Proof” represent the duality of Mozzy’s psyche-battling demons while reaching for angels. The former delves into a cloudier soundscape, reflecting the internal struggle between good and evil. In contrast, “Living Proof” is a soulful anthem of triumph with E Mozzy joining to celebrate the realization of dreams against all odds.

The title track is a piano-driven piece that reflects on Mozzy’s efforts for his community. It’s a raw and honest account highlighting the rapper’s deep connection to his roots. “Red Nose Bully” shifts the mood but maintains the message, with Mozzy asserting his enduring presence in the rap game over vibrant pianos and crisp hi-hats. The only reference Mozzy makes to his time imprisoned is “Traumatized,” which highlights the harrowing experience of a court sentencing.

Another major highlight of Children Of The Slums is the finale. The album wraps up with “Better Without You,” a gloomy track that drowns in its own sample of Eiffel 65’s “Blue (Da Ba Dee).” In a way, this signifies the exhaustion of watching others suffer. It’s a somber end to an album that traverses the spectrum of human emotion.

Cohesive Charm Meets Longing Lyricism

Mozzy’s return to the music scene is as understated as it is profound. He made no grand gestures to mark his release. Here, Mozzy turns away from the trend of glorifying jail time, choosing instead to focus on the community that shaped him. His album doesn’t dwell on his personal struggles behind bars; rather, it serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for those he speaks for. Through his lyrics, it is obvious Mozzy hopes to give a voice to the voiceless with authenticity and raw emotion. Children Of The Slums is not just an album — it’s Mozzy’s heartfelt note to the world, delivered with the same unassuming, yet impactful presence he embodies.

Throughout Children of the Slums, Mozzy’s pen game is sharp, his delivery is impassioned, and his storytelling is unparalleled. The album is evidence of his growth as an artist and a human being since his incarceration. It’s a story of resilience; a story of a man who rose from the slums to speak for those still trapped within them. With each track, Mozzy lays another brick in the foundation of his legacy, proving that even from the darkest corners, light can emerge.

50 Cent Says “It’s A Wrap” For Quavo After Chris Brown’s Diss Track

50 Cent says he’s going to have to come up with “some heat” if he wants to fire back at Chris Brown after the singer dropped the fiery diss track, “Weakest Link,” last week. Sharing the track on Instagram, 50 wrote: “Oh my God i just heard this, if Quavo don’t come with some heat it’s a wrap. First the Fatboys break up now this!” On the song, Brown references the death of Takeoff, sleeping with Quavo’s ex-partner, and more.

50’s fans mostly agreed with his take in the comments section. “Quavo need a Rihanna feature,” one user wrote. Another fan argued: “Quavo ain’t built for these type of situations he’s a party vibe rapper. His best bet is to let the hype die down and drop a collab with offset.”

Kendrick Lamar & Drake Beef: “Like That” & “Push Ups” Disses Locked In Streaming War

There are a lot of different ways and metrics of “winning” by which you could look at the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef. While many would say that it’s all about the quality of the diss tracks themselves, we are among too large (and divided) of a hip-hop fanbase to not consider that folks care about numbers more as arguments. Moreover, now that “Push Ups” is finally on streaming, many folks are curious as to how it will perform against “Like That” commercially dominating the game to this day. Although K.Dot can’t touch Drizzy numbers-wise in general, this would be a curious showdown to witness because we might not expect the results.

Furthermore, DJ Akademiks spoke to the close nature of this race, albeit in a dismissive way, on Twitter yesterday (Sunday, April 21). “Drake ‘Push Ups’ expected to out stream Metro Boomin, Future and Kendrick Lamar ‘Like That’ for this week,” he wrote on the social media platform, later posting screenshots of his tweets on Instagram. “‘Like That’ might still chart higher on the final billboard chart however because of radio play which heavily affects the charts.” “Hollyyyy,” Ak captioned the IG post. “Might be a chart show down as well for this next week.” Keep in mind that “Like That” has been the No. 1 song on the Billboard charts for three weeks straight.

DJ Akademiks Reports On Drake & Kendrick Lamar Streaming Showdown

As far as other diss tracks or ways in which Drake and Kendrick Lamar could go head-to-head commercially, this is really the only thing they have to consider specifically related to their beef. The “Taylor Made Freestyle” probably won’t make it onto streaming thanks to the Tupac and Snoop Dogg A.I. verses, but anything’s possible at this point. Of course, fans are still comparing them commercially and artistically in other areas, which they’ve vaguely spoken on in their disses. They recently had blockbuster tours, albums in the 2020s decade, wildly different label deals, etc.

Meanwhile, everyone is very curious to see how the Compton lyricist manages a response… if at all. Does he want to wait the exact same time his opponent waited to clap back at “Like That” or is his follow-up track really taking this long to craft? Let us know your predictions on that, and thoughts on all of this, down in the comments section below. As always, come back to HNHH for the latest news and more updates on Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
