Blueface Claims Jaidyn Alexis Proposal Wasn’t To Make Chrisean Rock “Mad,” Eats Ravioli Alone

Back in October, Blueface surprised fans when he decided to take things to the next level with the mother of his first two children, Jaidyn Alexis. He proposed to the “Barbie” rapper at an LA Rams game, seemingly revealing his intentions to commit to her for the long run. During a recent conversation with Jason Lee, however, he suggested otherwise.

After news of their engagement hit the internet, Blueface’s ex Chrisean Rock almost immediately weighed in. She claimed that the rapper only proposed to Jaidyn to make her jealous, even stating that the ring was originally meant for her. Blueface denies this, claiming that instead of trying to upset her, he was simply trying to make Jaidyn happy.

“I proposed to Jaidyn to make her happy. I knew that would make her happy. So my whole objective was not to make Chrisean Rock mad but it was to make Jaidyn happy. So after I’ve done all of this and I see that she’s still not happy now I’m unhappy,” he explained. Blueface and Jaidyn recently sparked some breakup rumors after fans noticed they had wiped each other off of their Instagram pages, hinting that they might have gone their separate ways.

She also recently linked up with Chrisean, appearing on good terms with Blueface’s other off-and-on girlfriend during a livestream. It appears as though the two of them have found some common ground, joining forces to air their frustrations with the “Thotiana” performer. Unfortunately for him, this seems to have left him on his own for now, as seen in a recent clip. In the clip, Blueface is seen sadly making himself some ravioli, and eating it all alone. “This is what it’s come down to,” he says in the video, looking unimpressed by the meal.

Moreover, pictures below show the two leaving a Neiman Marcus department store, although they don’t seem to be carrying any bags. Maybe they decided to hit another spot up instead, as this is just one set of photos from what could’ve been a longer day. Before you get ahead of yourself, though, we wouldn’t bet any money on this being a relationship. After all, he just threw his new boo P Litty a lavish birthday party.

All in all, at least this contributes to the narrative that Wunna is going outside a lot more these days. Of course, this is notable not just because of the massive success of his 2023 album a Gift & a Curse, but because of his high-profile plea exit from the YSL RICO case. In fact, it’s still a relevant tale as that trial is heating up, and people are looking to Gunna for more development in that area. For example, fans recently spotted him back in Atlanta as the court proceedings began, so maybe he wants to stay present and aware of what’s going on in the city.

Still, a lot of that is purely speculative and is just connecting some faraway dots, so take these Internet conclusions with a grain of salt. Regardless of why the 30-year-old was there, he also has some other relationships to mend or move past regarding this controversy. For example, Lil Baby recently cut off his track “Drip Too Hard” with Gunna from a recent live performance. “F**k the rats, turn this s**t off,” he said when he heard those opening guitar samples creep in through the arena speakers.

What Is Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday 2’ Tracklist?

Nicki Minaj is just a bit away from releasing her highly anticipated Pink Friday 2 album at midnight ET tonight, where it will be available to stream on Apple Music and Spotify. Given the rap icon has been pretty quiet about details surrounding the record, fans are wondering what the tracklist will be.

Here’s what to know so far.

What Is Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 Tracklist?

Minaj’s full tracklist for Pink Friday 2 is still yet to be announced. However, this hasn’t stopped online speculation. According to an unconfirmed partial list from Genius, it has her previously released “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” and “Super Freaky Girl” both reportedly making the cut. Other songs include “Big Difference” as track 2, and “Last Time I Saw You” as track 7.

Additional unconfirmed titles right now are “Let Me Calm Down,” “Memories,” and “Roman In Malibu.” The latter seems to tease that Minaj will be reprising her altar ego that fans got to know with the original Pink Friday in 2010.

It’s also unclear if any collaborations will be included on the rest of the tracklist, let alone how long the record will be, making it truly a surprise to take place once it drops.

Kodak Black Was Reportedly Arrested For Possession Of Cocaine In His Home State, Florida

Kodak Black has reportedly been arrested for possession of cocaine in his home state, Florida. XXL has posted records from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office showing the controversial rapper’s arrest status and charges. As yet, no bond has been set and the charges against him are pending trial.

Kodak, whose real name is Bill Kapri, has an extensive history of run-ins with law enforcement going back to his first brushes with fame in 2015. In 2016, he was charged with felony criminal sexual conduct stemming from an incident follow a concert in Florence, South Carolina. He pled guilty in 2021, receiving a sentence of probation.

In 2018, he was charged with child neglect, grand theft of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and marijuana possession after an Instagram Live feed showed him passing weed and a gun around a small child. While three of the charges were dropped, he was convicted of both possession charges and sentenced to a year in prison. He was released in August that year thanks to credit for time served.

In 2019, he was arrested at the US-Canada border by United States Customs and Border Protection for criminal possession of a weapon, released, then re-arrested in Miami ahead of his Rolling Loud performance on additional charges stemming from that arrest, including making a false statement on a governmental form for lying on his purchase documents for the guns confiscated at the border. He was sentenced to nearly four years in prison after pleading guilty; for the original charges, he also pled guilty, receiving a concurrent sentence between two and seven years.

However, in January 2021, as he was leaving office, Donald Trump communted Kodak’s sentence in a bid to curry favor with Black voters for his eventual 2024 election run. That seemingly hasn’t stopped Kodak from continuing to flout authority; in July 2022, he was arrested again for oxycodone trafficking, although his lawyer argued that the pills were prescribed to him.

Earlier this month, Sexyy Red dropped the deluxe version of her breakout album Hood Hottest Princess. The album was originally released earlier this year and served as her breakthrough moment. It dropped off the strength of “Pound Town 2” which featured Nicki Minaj and spawned even more hits like “SkeeYee” and “Hellcats SRTs.” The deluxe version added an entire 11 new songs which are stacked with big features. During a recent interview with CBS Mornings, Andre 3000 opened up about the process of creating his instrumental album, New Blue Sun. While he’s spent a fair chunk of time perfecting his flute skills, the hitmaker revealed that he’s not even sure what notes he’s playing. Regardless, he hasn’t let that get in the way of his experimentation with new sounds.

“I’ve gotten so used to it I kinda have a muscle memory of holding [the flute],” he explained, revealing that he feels lost without the instrument nowadays. “When I’m walking with people that’s what they say, ‘I feel like I’m in my movie.’” Though he isn’t a trained musician, the Atlanta native manages to stumble upon greatness as he plays, enjoying how new the whole process feels to him.

“I don’t even know what notes I’m playing so every move for me is new,” he says. “Which is kinda cr*zy but it feels great to do it. Because when you find things you’re like, ‘Oh!’” Andre 3000 went on to describe how hip hop has paved the way for his passion for finding new and interesting sounds. “It’s like a reward for searching,” he explained. “I think that’s a Hip Hop thing, to be honest. Because Hip Hop you immediately take something in and put it back out.”

Last month, the artist revealed that he chose not to include any bars on the instrumental project because he was having trouble finding things to rap about. “It actually feels…sometimes it feels inauthentic for me to rap because I don’t have anything to talk about in that way. I’m 48 years old. And not to say that age is a thing that dictates what you rap about, but in a way it does,” he shared. Nicki Minaj’s new album Pink Friday 2 is arriving on DSPs soon and she has promised that the album will take fans on a ride to “Gag City.” After teasing the allbum’s release — and its accompanying tour — for months, the album hits DSPs, including Apple Music and Spotify, on Friday, December 7.

The album will be Nicki Minaj’s fifth studio album, and it arrives five years after the release of her most recent album, Queen, in 2018. In the lead up to the album’s release, Nicki enjoyed a resurgence of popularity thanks to her placement on the Barbie soundtrack with the Aqua-sampling “Barbie World” alongside “Princess Diana” collaborator Ice Spice. Capitalizing on the attention from the new song from younger fans, she attempted to join TikTok’s “NPC” trend with hilariously disastrous results. Still, the move revealed an endearingly human side to the superstar, which she continued to cultivate with her first album single “Last Time I Saw You.”

After campaigning to appear on Drake’s new album For All The Dogs, Nicki teased the next single, “Bahm Bahm,” before revealing that Pink Friday 2 had been delayed. Just ahead of the album’s release, she dropped out of iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball to ensure she had time to properly finish the album.

Although many of the artists on Nicki’s level of notoriety can get away with pushing it (see: anytime Drake releases anything), it seems most likely that Nicki’s new album will hit DSPs at midnight ET on the dot. After all, she gave herself plenty of leeway to get everything mixed, mastered, and delivered to her distributors with the date change earlier this year, so someone as fastidious about her career as Ms. Minaj isn’t going to drop the ball on the 1-yard line. She even canceled a performance at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in Chicago — presumably to do some last-minute album prep — so it seems probable that she’s hit her deadlines.

Judging from the singles that have been released so far, including the as-yet only teased “Big Difference,” fans can likely expect a return to a more rap-focused Nicki on her new project, rather than the pop-oriented version that dominated much of the 2010s. Whether that’s a good thing probably depends on which version you like more: “Anaconda” Nicki or “Monster” Nicki.
