Druski Says He’s Skipping The Super Bowl in New Orleans to Avoid Seeing Birdman

Druski recently appeared on an episode of the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast. While there he spoke to Gillie and Wallo on a variety of topics, including next year’s Super Bowl. The game is taking place in New Orleans and they were curious of Dru would be attending. They got an answer they weren’t prepared for when he revealed that he wouldn’t be attending. When pressed on why he revealed that he didn’t want to run into Birdman or a handful of other artists he expects to be present.

Gillie and Wallo are clearly surprised by the answer. They press him further seeming to think there won’t be any real danger. Druski doubles down in his response but some fans in the comments think he might just be doing an elaborate joke. “this gotta be the most elaborate skit” and ““He ain’t in there is he??” I can’t tell if he’s joking or genuinely terrified” two comments on the post read. Others took him more seriously though. “so i guess he isnt really standing on buisness” reads one of the top comments, though the jokes comes up repeatedly. The Super Bowl is always a celebrity-packed affair and this year was no different. During the episode, they discussed a surprising amount of pretty serious subject matter. In a clip that made the rounds earlier this week Youngboy tried to explain why he developed a reputation for being “uncivilized.” Though he ultimately refutes the claim he also puts the blame on himself for appearing that way publicly sometimes.

In an even more serious moment, Youngboy turns the questioning back around on his hosts. In another segment making waves online, he asks the pair what makes them happy. Both hosts give pretty compelling answers, discussing how far they’ve come in life and the legacies they hope to leave behind. Despite the fact that neither seemed prepared for Youngboy to deliver such a simple but insightful question, it resulted in a compelling moment. In the comments of a repost of the clip fans react to the question and the interview as a whole. “They travelled all the way to utah for a 10 minute interview, i know they mad as hell,” one of the top comments reads in reference to how short the episode is. “This n*gga interviewing the interviewers,” another comment jokes about Youngboy unpacking some questions of his own.

NBA Youngboy has been on house arrest in Utah for much of this year. That’s allowed the rapper to record and release new music at an extremely prolific rate. Cam’ron Recalls Forcing Teenage Juelz Santana To Work On Music

Cam’ron says he used to have to force Juelz Santana to lock in and work on music when he was a teenager. Reflecting on their collaborative relationship during an interview on Million Dollaz Worth of Game, Cam explained how he’d get Santana motivated to write.

“We used to have to lock Juelz in the house, straight up and down, when he was 15, 16,” he said. “All them songs you hear, the bangers, was forced. [I’d be like], ‘Yo, write the song, my n***a. Write the song!’ But it got to the point where I can’t treat you… you’re a grown man now. I can’t yell at you. I can’t scream at you. All them hits. ‘Gangsta Music,’ ‘Santana’s Town,’ all the hot shit, ‘Hey Ma,’ was when we about to walk out to the club, we had a crib in Chicago. And he’d be like, ‘Come on.’ I’d be like, ‘You did that 16?’ He’d be like, ‘Uh…’ I said, ‘We’ll bring you a b*tch back. You’re not coming out until you finish the f*cking song.’ Straight like that. ‘We’ll bring you a hoe back and if you finished the 16, you can have her.’”

Dipset Reunites For “Verzuz” Performance

From there, Cam also recalled Santana planning to drop another album once he got out of his deal with Dipset in 2008, but it never materialized. “When we stopped working together, I’m not saying the work ethic got poor, but for some reason, it’s not translating into the public hearing it,” Cam said. “Like I said, you go to his page now, every month he’s saying something’s coming out, something’s coming out. And the reason I know this ‘cause I’m waiting. I’m a fan! I’m sitting here saying: ‘When’s the shit coming out?’ ‘Cause I would like to hear it!”

Cam’ron & Mase May Be Going On Tour Together Thanks To Wallo

Cam’ron says that he and Mase are planning to go on tour and will be able to do so thanks to Wallo. During a recent appearance on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Cam explained that they were having trouble organizing it so Wallo called up Shawn Gee, the President of Live Nation Urban, and put in a good word.

Cam’ron began by clarifying that their original plans for a tour did not fall through due to Mase. From there, Wallo calls up Shawn Gee live on the podcast and Gee remarks that he’d “put them on tour tomorrow.” Gee also suggests having them do their It Is What It Is podcast live at Roots Picnic next year and potentially put a set together.

Cam’ron later welcomed Gillie and Wallo on It Is What It Is, during which time he thanked them for helping put him and Mase together. “Thank you guys also for helping connect me and Mase, and putting this shit together for us,” Cam said during that interview. “To be honest with you, and we talked about this on Million Dollaz Worth of Game, we may not even still be speaking right now without your guys’ platform. So we want to tell you guys thank you so much. And you see what it led to [It Is What It Is], because Harlem n***as are gonna start hustling once we cool again.”

Gillie challenged Budden to a celebrity boxing match and unsurprisingly Budden had one question. “How much?” he responded which sparked an entire conversation about potential compensation for a theoretical fight. Gillie and Budden have had a long-running beef, though it’s very light hearted. The pair have exchanged barbs on Twitter in the past and had even more shots to take at one another during their podcast appearance.

In case fans thought they might be kidding about the fight, both men clarified that they were “dead f*cking serious.” ““I’m gonna go train, I’m gonna spar for two months, I’m gonna beat the f*cking leather off of you,” Gillie said to Joe Budden. “I’m gonna fold you up,” Budden responded. The Atlanta native confirmed the news to begin the new year, and whichever day it’s set to arrive, it’s set to be a promising follow-up to his 2020 release So Help Me God. The release of Dope Don’t Sell Itself could also mark the end of an era for 2 Chainz as he previously announced that his next album would be his “last trap album.” It remains to be seen if that statement will hold true, but until then, we can enjoy the first offering from Dope Don’t Sell Itself.

2 Chainz recruits help from Detroit rapper 42 Dugg and production from LilJuMadeDaBeat for his latest single, “Million Dollars Worth Of Game.” The track finds 2 Chainz standing tall as a veteran in both the rap game and the streets. With that comes the knowledge and wisdom he’s attained over the years, which he dishes over the track while 42 Dugg handles the hook and delivers a verse of his own on the song. The track is also paired with a music video that finds 2 Chainz and 42 Dugg in a lavish mansion surrounded by a cast of beautiful women.

The track arrives after 2 Chainz teamed up with DJ Premier for “Mortgage Free” which he released last month. As for 42 Dugg, the collaboration comes after he connected with Lil Durk in a video for their “Free Ric” track.
