But there were a lot of other celebrities there that weren’t encumbered by rap beefs, including a new friend duo that provoked plenty of laughs on the Internet. Travis Scott and Jake Paul appeared in a viral clip, and the Houston rapper became particularly animated in a way that seemingly took Paul by surprise.

Furthermore, this is just one of many windows into this White Party, including Yeat’s many link-ups, Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla’s performance, and Druski chilling with Tom Brady and Leonardo DiCaprio. Drake had a much better Fourth of July than most of us, popping out for Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin’s White Party this week for a great time. Moreover, new footage of a “Sticky” and “Wants And Needs” performance with Lil Baby emerged online, plus a picture of him with Rubin. However, it’s still a bit unclear whether or not these new snaps are from this year or previous ones, as the 6ix God is a frequent guest at these parties, but most folks online seem to agree that these are all from 2024. Also, we do know that he got an official invite to the celebrations this year, so it all lines up.

Of course, there might have been something pretty big on Drake’s mind around 7PM Eastern time, when Kendrick Lamar dropped the “Not Like Us” music video. In it, Kendrick features his family and co-director Dave Free to clap back at Drizzy’s disses, locks up an owl in a cage, and parodies the “Family Matters” video at one point. It’s a massive moment that is garnering a lot of hype right now for its clean visuals and victory lap attitude. As such, fans are speculating wildly on how the Toronto superstar must feel about all this, but he was clearly distracted by a great party, so who knows?

After all, he might feel pretty vindicated these days after some OVO fans attacked Rick Ross in Vancouver, Canada recently due to a scuffle with them. That whole situation is still unclear, but folks have their theories that Rozay was actually the instigator. Either way, it’s clear that not every battlefield will be a winning one for Kendrick.

Drake Receives Invite To Michael Rubin’s Star-Studded White Party

Despite the hefty allegations and claims thrown Drake’s way during his battle with Kendrick Lamar, it seems like he doesn’t have to fight much for his right to party. Moreover, he recently posted the invite ( a one-of-one by George Condo) to Michael Rubin’s White Party this year, which is a massive celebrity gathering that he seems quite excited for. “Went from 1 bedroom condo to 1 of 1 condo @michaelrubin [mind blown emoji],” the Toronto superstar captioned a picture of his invite on his Instagram Story. Of course, a lot of people reacted to this news by bringing up some of those aforementioned allegations, while others just want to see the whole thing blow over already.

Meanwhile, other rappers like Lil Yachty are giving their take on that whole K.Dot feud, but also on how they don’t think Drake will take much of a hit as a result. “Drake was deemed a loser in this battle before it started,” he expressed on his A Safe Place podcast. “Because people don’t like him, and haven’t, and he’s won for a very long time.

“And he sat at the top of the throne… Honestly, respectfully, I think he still sits on top of the throne,” Lil Yachty continued. “Even if opinionated masses would say that Kendrick won, I don’t think that people are going to stop listening to Drake and Drake’s career is going to flush, you know? I said to Drake, I told him, ‘I don’t feel like you won or lost.’ Rappers have lost and then lost everything. We’ll see whether this White Party invite is a solid indicator of just how fine Drake will be after this rap battle, which honestly shouldn’t surprise anyone. After all, despite people having mixed feelings about the beef itself, they still hold respect for both him and Kendrick Lamar as artists. It would be shocking if either MC truly falls out of public favor completely, although we guess we can’t rule out the impossibilities. After all, who would’ve thought that this whole thing would end with a White Party to celebrate?

Meek Mill has finally provided an explanation for the infamous video of him doing “bunny hops” for Mihcael Rubin on a tennis court. He says it’s a game he started doing during his time behind bars and it stems from losing a bet on the tennis court.

“This a game I started from prison we used to make killers do bunny hops when they loss because it was too hostile for money…” he wrote, sharing a link to DThang and Tdot’s “Bunny Hop” music video. “This be us!!! Ima get Rubin to bunny hop for me okay lol ima teach him d thang hop!” Fans weren’t feeling the explanation. One user replied: “N***a said prison like that was gonna make this sh*t less zesty.” Another claimed: “My cousin did 25 years for murder and never bunny hopped. Other cousin did 10, never bunny hopped. My step dad did 15 never bunny hopped. Next.”
