Megan Thee Stallion & Winnie Harlow’s Disagreement Allegedly Centered Around Troy Lanez

Megan Thee Stallion and Winnie Harlow’s reported argument at Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July party allegedly centered around Tory Lanez, according to Loren Lorosa. She claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that the disagreement had to do with something Harlow had previously posted online about the rapper. Jason Lee was the first to break the news of the fight, doing so on his podcast. “Everybody keeps asking me to release the tea on Megan that I said I was going to release… she got in a fight with Winnie Harlow at Michael rubin’s party,” Lee said on his show. “I don’t have all the full details yet and I’m waiting on the video but I’ve texted Megan and Winnie so there you go.”

As for additional details, Lorosa explained: “This all started Because Winnie is Canadian she posted something about Tory Lanez on social in the midst of the Meg x Tory shooting trial stuff .. which Meg allegedly took issue with.” She added that Harlow didn’t intend for the post to come off as being against Megan, and once it did, she deleted it. Lorosa added that Harlow attempted to apologize to Megan, but she left her on read.

Lorosa added that once the party came, “Meg and Winnie allegedly get into a verbal Altercation, I’m told Meg allegedly approached Winnie about the post but tons of people there broke it up BEFORE an actual fight could really happened. .. my person who was there alleges.. Meg was going off & yelling at Winnie ‘I should beat your ass.’”

JAY-Z joined Michael Rubin at the grand opening of a new Fanatics Sportsbook location on the Atlantic City boardwalk in New Jersey on Sunday. At the event, Jay helped cut the ceremonial ribbon as Rubin, along with Fanatics Betting and Gaming CEO Matt King and Ocean Casino Resort GM Bill Callahan cheered him on. Hov’s appearance at the opening comes as he continues to face backlash on social media for helping select Kendrick Lamar to perform at Super Bowl LIX over Lil Wayne.

“Folks like Nikki out here talking about Super Bowl performances and Jay out here cutting ribbons,” one user commented when Roc Nation shared pictures from the event on Instagram. “Let that be a lesson for her and the rest of them. Jay-Z and Michael Rubin are set to host a high-stakes $250,000 blackjack tournament this Sunday in Atlantic City. The exclusive event, as reported by Page Six, will celebrate the grand opening of the new Fanatics Sportsbook at Ocean Casino Resort. Rubin and Jay-Z are expected to compete at the final table, adding star power to the high-profile event.

Details on the guest list remain under wraps, but the tournament will feature a select group of invite-only attendees. The gathering promises to be a glittering affair, combining high stakes with the excitement of a new sports betting venue.

Last year, REFORM Alliance successfully hosted its first-ever Casino Night event at Atlantic City’s Ocean Casino Resort, raising an impressive $24 million for criminal justice reform. The evening featured a blackjack tournament, a dinner program, and a live auction. REFORM Alliance founding members and prominent guests like Tom Brady, Kim Kardashian, Travis Scott, and Matthew McConaughey participated in the festivities.

During the dinner program, REFORM’s CEO Robert Rooks and Chief Advocacy and Operations Officer Jessica Jackson expressed gratitude to the guests for confronting pressing social and economic issues. The organization’s focus on public safety solutions has contributed to the passage of 17 bipartisan bills in 11 states, providing pathways for nearly 700,000 people to transition out of the justice system towards work, well-being, and stability. The organization also organizes job and opportunity fairs and grants to organizations offering solutions for those impacted by the criminal justice and supervision system.

A live auction featuring items donated by Tom Brady, George Condo, Rashid Johnson, and Jay-Z raised $7.8 million. Afterward, guests enjoyed an after-party with surprise performances by Travis Scott, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, and more.

JAY-Z rocked a unique Bugatti Tourbillon watch worth $340,000 to the reopening of his storied 40/40 Club for Fanatics Fest in New York City, last week. Celebrity jeweler Jacob Arabo, who designed the piece, revealed that the legendary rapper was the first to own it in a post on Instagram afterward. “My dear friend @jayz was the first to own the 5 time zone watch. 25 years later, he’s the first to own the bugatti tourbillon,” he wrote, as caught by HipHopDX.

In another post, he added: “The Bugatti Tourbillon is the result of months of tireless collaboration between our teams, with each side bringing its expertise to the table. Inspired by Bugatti’s latest hyper sports car, the Tourbillon, the watch mirrors the car’s iconic design elements and groundbreaking technology. The 52 x 44 mm case, crafted to resemble the car’s body, features the front grille, side radiator inlets, and large sapphire side windows.”

Joe Budden Checks Michael Rubin For Controversial Take On Black Culture

During his recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Michael Rubin made some controversial remarks that didn’t sit right with a lot of viewers. He said that he doesn’t like how Black people are quick to “hate” on one another, which he later apologized for. “Look, I’m just being blunt. It’s me, It’s the one thing I’ve learned about Black culture that I don’t like is that Black hate on hate,” he said. Amid backlash, Rubin took to social media to explain that his intention wasn’t to offend anyone, but simply to encourage people to uplift each other. Ultimately, however, he recognized that it was not his place to speak on Black culture.

In a new episode of Joe Budden’s podcast, he weighed in on the debacle. “Did he speak about Palestine?” he asked. “It seems like there’s a lot happening over there… It seems like there’s plenty to say there, he didn’t say a word?” Clearly, Budden thinks Rubin should have stayed in his lane and didn’t appreciate his criticism of another culture. This wasn’t the only part of the interview he wasn’t a fan of, however.

According to him, it was Meek’s idea. Budden says he wishes Rubin hadn’t addressed this at all, calling it one of his “favorite rumors.”

Charlamagne Tha God Thinks Michael Rubin Is Actually Right Despite Backlash

Michael Rubin’s recent appearance on The Breakfast Club resulted in a couple of notable social media narratives that listeners debated over. One of these were his remarks on Drake attending his White Party in the aftermath of his Kendrick Lamar battle. But a far more controversial part of the interview was when the Fanatics mogul remarked on what he thinks is lamentable about Black culture. Particularly, he said that Black people are too quick to hate on each other. While reflecting on these comments on the radio show’s next episode, host Charlamagne Tha God and the rest of the gang explained Rubin’s perspective and even agreed with him.

“Yeah, Meek said Michael shouldn’t have said that out loud,” Charlamagne Tha God’s analysis began. “Michael said one of his friends called and said that wasn’t his place to say it. But guess what? None of those people said he lied, because he didn’t. Now, I’m not into broad generalizations, because we know all Black people don’t hate each other. We know all Black people don’t tear each other down, but it does happen enough for him to make that observation. And it happens enough for us to have those conversations amongst each other.

He started talking about people saying he’s a bad Jew because of how much he supports Black people. We literally had that conversation right after the Black conversation. We had a whole conversation.

“I don’t have any problem with critique,” Charlamagne Tha God concluded. “I don’t have any problem with people being held accountable if they do something foul. To me, that’s not hate. But we all know exactly what Michael Rubin was talking about because we talk about it amongst ourselves. Anyone who doesn’t acknowledge that isn’t actively trying to fix it.”

Earlier today, The Breakfast Club brought Michael Rubin to their show. The CEO of Fanatics spoke about banning “Not Like Us” at his recent all-white Fourth of July bash, his friendship with Meek Mill, among other things. However, instead of it being just another interview, the episode has gone quite viral, and not in a good way. Additionally, Meek Mill’s name happened to be mixed into Michael Rubin’s controversial comments. Here’s is what the latter said that has stirred up debate: “Look, I’m just being blunt. It’s me, It’s the one thing I’ve learned about Black culture that I don’t like is that Black hate on hate”, he began.

Charlamagne tha God then asked him to explain what he means. Rubin then says, “I think there’s a little bit of Black culture where it’s Black hate on hate. It’s like that Black judge that Meek had, that hated on him and want to go extra hard on him. Okay. I, it’s what people always say to me. It’s like black hate on hate, so I think it’s terrible. It’s something that I think is culturally wrong and I’ll probably get killed for saying this”. During this discussion, he used his close friend Meek Mill to help make his point.

It’s certainly a lot to unpack and a lot of people, especially those in the Black community have torn into him for it coming from a white man and also him being so comfortable to say this out loud. However, like Rubin is to Meek, the latter is showing that he’s going to stick up for his friend, too.

The Philadelphia product seems to agree with Rubin’s overall message. Michael Rubin Addresses Backlash To His Comments About Black Culture

Michael Rubin’s recent appearance on The Breakfast Club drew some significant uproar from the Internet for a couple of different reasons. One of these was his comments about Drake attending his White Party in the aftermath of the Kendrick Lamar battle, which led DJ Akademiks to claim that the 6ix God took 20 OVO affiliates with him to bring some muscle to the table in case anyone was about to ask why Baka was still around. But the real controversy behind Rubin’s radio show appearance was his comments about not liking certain parts of Black culture, remarks which he’s now apologized for.

DJ Akademiks Claims Drake Took 20 OVO Affiliates To Michael Rubin’s White Party

Michael Rubin’s recent Breakfast Club interview was controversial for many reasons, but one particularly interesting part of the conversation was when he talked about Drake’s attendance at his Fourth of July White Party this year. Moreover, this led DJ Akademiks to claim that the OVO mogul took 20 of his close associates, including his bodyguard Chubbs, to the event, and was the only one allowed to do so as everyone else had a tight one-guest limit. Not only that, but Ak claims that The Boy did so because he wanted to determine the temperature of his industry peers, since this bash went down about two months after the Kendrick Lamar battle ended.

Furthermore, Michael Rubin admitted that he banned Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” at his White Party due to Drake’s attendance. “It was true,” he said of these rumors about the diss track’s blacklisted status. “I just didn’t think it was appropriate, so I said, ‘Hey, let’s not play anyone’s music that’s feuding with anyone here.’ That was a me decision.
