Michael B. Jordan Is Excited To Start Filming “I Am Legend 2” With Will Smith

Michael B. Jordan is eager for the I Am Legend 2 movie he is filming with Will Smith to begin. In an interview with People magazine, the Black Panther actor provided an update on the film’s progress and discussed his collaboration with Propel Fitness Water on the Propel Your City Project. I Am Legend 2 is “something that is in the works,” he said. Jordan explained, “We’re still working on the script and getting that up to par,” he continued. “It doesn’t have a release date or anything like that. I’m not sure exactly where we’re going to be filming that one, but I’m really excited to get in front of the camera with him [Smith].”

Michale B. Jordan said the Oscar winner is “somebody that I’ve looked up to for a really long time, [so] to be able to work with Will is something I’m really looking forward to. I’m really excited.” In March 2022, news of the sequel to the post-apocalyptic 2007 film starring Smith was first revealed. In the first movie, he played scientist Robert Neville, who contracts an illness that converts most people into zombie-like monsters, leaving him as one of the world’s only survivors. It was adapted from the same-titled novel by author Richard Matheson, published in 1954.

I Am Legend 2 was previously teased by Will Smith in December 2023. He mentioned that although his character perishes in the theatrical version of the first movie, the DVD had a different ending that was revealed during the end credits, showing that his character lived. “So we are going with the mythology of the DVD version where my character lived,” he explained at the time. Overall, I Am Legend is a classic and we cannot wait to see what they can do with a sequel.

Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan’s Next Film Project Set for Warner Bros After Bidding War

When it comes to that top-secret supernatural, which may be a period vampire film that Ryan Coogler is directing, producing, and starring Michael B. Jordan, well, they just added Wunmi Mosaku and Jayme Lawson to the cast, joining Delroy Lindo and Jack O’Connell, who were both recently announced. The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline reported that both actresses are confirmed to star in the mysterious film.

This massive project is still under wraps, so both new announcements indicate who they will play. Still, Mosaku has starred in roles in the ballpark of supernatural, sci-fi, and fantasy series to Lovecraft Country and Loki. Now get this: more from the rumor mill. She is said, again, it’s just a rumor to be the female lead and possibly a romantic interest of one of the twin brothers Jordan is expected to play. Yes, that part – Jordan is rumored to be playing twin brothers, while O’Connell might be playing the antagonist.

More rumors say the film is set in the Jim Crow South and might revolve around vampires and Southern supernatural lore and culture, as reported by Shadow and Act.

Check this part. New Orleans is accustomed to vampire lore, and that is where this film is kick-starting production this month.

Coogler wrote the film and is directing and producing under his Proximity Media banner. Proximity Media’s Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian will also be producing.

Except this blockbuster to hit theaters in March 2025.

The next big Hollywood movie from Ryan Coogler starring none other than Michael B. Jordan has just announced more of the untitled film’s cast.

Both Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter reported that Delroy Lindo is confirmed as on board. Jack O’Connell is in talks, and rumor has it that he will play the villain. Lindo’s role is unknown, much like the title. C’mon ya’ll, give us something.

Speaking of under wraps, this project has been protected from leaks, but Shadow and Act gave some rumored intel with the film “set in the Jim Crow-era South, and possibly involves both vampires and Southern supernatural traditions.” Now get this: Shadow and Act regurgitated another rumor that Jordan may play two characters who are twin brothers. That’s interesting. Here’s more from the rumor mill: the tone of the film is described as having a musical element. One source said Lindo’s role has “a musical element to it.” Now, that’s a lot of possible information for a so-called closely guarded project.

Coogler is serving as a screenwriter, director, and producer through his company, Proximity Media. Proximity Media producers Zinzi Coogler (Ryan’s wife) and Sev Ohanian are producing.

Warner Bros won the rights to the film after a crazy bidding war.

Michael B. Jordan Says He’s Lonely

Michael B. Jordan has opened up about his emotional struggles in a recent interview. “There’s a loneliness that I have. The responsibility that you have is isolating and the weight is isolating. The worst part of that is the feeling like nobody really understands. Sometimes falling into the spaces of being alone, feeling alone. I go back and forth between wanting partnership and then not knowing what’s the best partner for me. easy. It’s not just ‘I love you, you love me’,” Jordan told On Purpose with Jay Shetty.

Furthermore, Jordan revealed that he wants to start living life in a way he hasn’t experienced yet. “There’s also a part of me that really hasn’t lived life yet. I haven’t traveled for fun. I gotta start living. I’ve sacrificed and I’ve zoned in for so long. I’m not looking but it would take a very special person to understand and grow with me,” he noted. Jordan is currently tied to serval projects, including a Rainbow Six movie that would serve as a sequel to his 2021 film, Without Remorse.

Meanwhile, Jordan escaped his December car crash without charge earlier this year. The LAPD closed an investigation into Jordan following reports that the actor had been involved in a drag racing-induced car crash in December. According to a police spokesperson, the department felt they had “insufficient evidence” to prove that Jordan was responsible for the crash and thus would not pursue charges.

At the time, the prevailing theory was that Jordan had been racing another car. Dashcam footage released by TMZ after the crash showed Jordan’s blue Ferrari racing alongside a red Ferrari before Jordan appeared to lose control and slammed into the side of a parked car on the side of the road. Jordan was not seriously injured but refused to give police his version of events when originally questioned. The driver of the other car later came forward to deny that the pair had been racing.

North West and La La Anthony are quite the wholesome best friend duo, bonded thanks to the former’s mother and the latter’s good friend Kim Kardashian. As such, it’s always interesting to see how they show their fun times on social media, because things aren’t as innocent as makeup and paintings anymore. Moreover, the two engaged in (presumably) a TikTok trend about best friends in which they say all the things that make each other a number one companion. During one of Ye’s daughter’s remarks, she said the following: “We’re best friends! Of course I was trying to hook her up with Michael B. Jordan!”

It was a pretty funny moment that had them both laughing, although they didn’t really elaborate on the story behind this claim. They closed out the video by singing along to North West’s verse on her dad’s song “TALKING” off of the Ty Dolla $ign collab album VULTURES 1. This actually made her one of the youngest artists ever to chart on Billboard, which Kim Kardashian was incredibly proud of. In fact, it was particularly heartening to see considering the strained relationship that the ten-year-old’s parents have.

The LAPD has closed an investigation into Michael B. Jordan following reports that the actor had been involved in a drag racing-induced car crash in December. A much happier moment for Jordan came last October. Jordan and Steve Harvey were all smiles as they caught up at the NBA Abu Dhabi Games. The pair were seen chatting and embracing at the event, suggesting there’s no bad blood between the two. While it’s never been implied that there’s beef, Jordan was dating Harvey’s daughter Lori until the summer of last year. While a reason for the split has never been given, Lori did mention “red flags” in several cryptic posts after the breakup went down. However, it’s also been said that Jordan was ready to settle down while Harvey wasn’t.

Steve himself joked about the breakup after it happened. Speaking on his radio show a few days after it went down, Harvey joked that his kids were teaching him how to get out of relationships early. He also referenced his infamous divorce from his ex-wife Mary. Harvey was sued for $60M by his ex in 2005. However, the lawsuit went nowhere as Mary hadn’t filed it in the state where the divorce occurred.

A newly-released video of Michael B. Jordan’s recent car crash appears to the actor engaged in a street race moments before hitting a parked car on Sunset Boulevard. The dashcam video, published by TMZ, shows Jordan’s blue Ferrari racing alongside a red Ferrari before Jordan appears to lose control and slams into the side of a parked car on the side of the road. Jordan was not seriously injured but refused to give police his version of events when originally questioned.

Jordan’s account of what happened was limited to an online incident report as there were no injuries. Furthermore, Jordan did not undergo a sobriety test as responding officers did not see any visual signs of impairment.
