Travis Scott Performs At The New Mercedes-Benz Showcase

Earlier this week, Mercedes Benz held a special event for the unveiling of a new car. The newest in their G-class series continues an investment into the world of electric cars and made a variety of bold promises about its game-changing potential. In order to get as much attention as possible on the announcement, they had a special guest along to perform during the event. Travis Scott was in attendance to unpack some of his UTOPIA songs for those in the crowd.

In a series of videos making the rounds online, Scott injects plenty of life and energy into the show. He surprised everyone in attendance by stepping out of the car already parked on stage. Though he made use of the entire stage for the performance he did eventually return to the car and sit on it during a later song. Scott has kept busy ever since he returned from an extended hiatus following the Astroworld festival tragedy. This is just the latest in a number of live performances and appearances he’s made so far in 2024. Check out some clips from his performance below.

Travis Scott At The Mercedes-Benz Showcase

Travis Scott recently released some new music for his fans but it probably didn’t get the reaction he was expecting. He shared a new remix of “FE!N” which appeared on UTOPIA and originally featured Playboi Carti. The new remix version instead features Chase B and fans weren’t vibing with the change. Many took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction with the song following its release.

Scott appeared on another recent remix that landed with much better favor among fans. He joined Sexyy Red and Chris Brown on a remix of Nicki Minaj’s hit “FTCU” last week. Juice WRLD’s Ex Ally Lotti Flexes New Benz After Walmart Shoplifting Arrest

Juice WRLD’s ex-girlfriend Ally Lotti came home to a new whip following her theft and drugs arrest.

Lotti jumped on Instagram following her release to stunt on her detractors. She shared a photo of a brand-new Benz that was waiting for her at home. She revealed the new whip following her and her boyfriend’s arrest at a Walmart in Arkansas.

“Came home the other night to my new penthouse overlooking the river and my brand new 2023 Benz GT,” she wrote. She thanked her boyfriend afterward for the gifts. “You moved mountains for me to b home for my gifts; aka your brand new matching Bentley// you’re surprises are exquisite and your promises, you never break.”

Police arrested Lotti and Carter at a Walmart over the weekend. The Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office nabbed Ally on charges of possession of methamphetamine or cocaine with the purpose to deliver at least 2 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft of property. Police released Lotti on $2.5K bond.

Authorities also booked Carter on a theft of property charge. However, they released him without bond shortly after.

Lotti’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, said the arrest occurred because they forgot to ring up an item in self-checkout. However, a security guard detained them, leading to their arrest, which is when the drugs were discovered.

“My clients would never take something intentionally and this seems like a misunderstanding. Subsequent to the arrest for petit theft a search revealed narcotics. I and my co-counsel @legalsicario have been hired to address this for a quick and fair resolution to the outstanding legal matters,” Cohen wrote in a statement.

ASAP Rocky’s AWGE Unveils A New Partnership With Mercedes-Benz

ASAP Rocky’s AWGE creative agency/label is shrouded in mystique by design. The “About” page of its website only has two “rules” listed: “#1 Never reveal what AWGE Means” and “#2 When in doubt always refer to rule #1.” Most of their rare product drops in the past have included trucker hats collaborations with brands like Rolling Loud and Mercedes-Benz (the latter, is currently going on eBay for $500.) Now, as ASAP Rocky prepares to welcome his baby with Rihanna into the world, he has also announced a new collaboration series with Mercedes-Benz and this one features much more than just a trucker hat.

Just before noon today, ASAP Rocky posted a short video teaser to his Instagram page along with photos of the drop. The photos were quickly purged, but the internet has done its thing and image captures are everywhere. There’s an orange hoodie with a Mercedes-Benz logo on the back and an AWGE logo across the black hood, a muted salmon bomber jacket, sleek pants, and what looks like a belt buckle shaped like the Mercedes-Benz logo.

ASAP Rocky has been building with Mercedes-Benz for quite some time. In 2017, he was featured in the German car company’s “Grow up. Get a job” commercial campaign:

Meanwhile, he’s was just announced as a headliner for Canada’s Osheaga Festival and will appear at the UK’s Wireless Festival. He’ll also be in LA at the end of April to headline the Smoker’s Club Festival.
