Megan Thee Stallion’s New Album Reportedly Loses 30 Million Streams Due To Alleged Botting

Late last month, Megan Thee Stallion finally unveiled her eagerly anticipated new album, Megan. So far, it’s been a hit among the Texas-born performer’s fanbase, boasting features from the likes of GloRilla and Victoria Monet. Unfortunately, however, it was recently reported by No Jumper that she’s had 30 million streams removed from the album on Spotify. This is rumored to be due to the platform detecting “bot-like” streams. The reason the streams were removed has yet to be confirmed.

Regardless, the reports have social media users split. While many are coming to Meg’s defense, as it’s likely she has nothing to do with the alleged botting, others have been reminded of some of her own “Hiss” lyrics about having bots instead of fans. Nicki Minaj and Tory Lanez supporters in particular are unsurprisingly putting her on blast as a result.

Megan Thee Stallion Called Out For Alleged Bot Use

At the time of writing, Meg has yet to address the botting allegations. It doesn’t seem as though she’s been too fazed by them, however. She recently took to Instagram to promote the European leg of her “Hot Girl Summer” tour alongside Ms Banks. She’s also been teasing some non-music-related endeavors as of late, including an upcoming twerk-out video, and her own tequila brand. A timeline for those projects hasn’t been announced yet, though she gave fans a first look at her tequila in May. At the time, she claimed that it would be arriving “soon.”

She also just recently appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, celebrated her new album with a star-studded release party, and more. What do you think of rumors that Megan Thee Stallion had 30 million Megan streams removed due to botting? How are you liking her latest release? Megan Thee Stallion Shows Off Her Trip To Japan In Music Video For “Otaku Hot Girl”

Megan Thee Stallion is a little bit of nerd if you were not aware already. That is especially true in relation to her love of the Japanese culture and the world of anime. Earlier this year, the H-Town Hottie became a Hiroshima Hottie, as she explored Tokyo and all it had to offer. Her fans, and lots of thirsty men alike, were absolutely loving the cosplay thirst traps she was feeding them. Furthermore, it seemed like Megan had a great time throughout her trip because some of that fandom makes it onto her self-titled LP. There are two tracks on MEGAN that display this adoration, and those include “Mamushi” and “Otaku Hot Girl”. In terms of the song itself, the latter is one of the catchiest on the record. It features the hitmaker spit some speedy flows, all while including some nods to anime characters. Because of all of these reasons, it is no surprise that “Otaku Hot Girl” is one of the few tracks to receive a music video.

Unlike the visuals for “BOA”, which are extremely flashy and seamlessly edited, “Otaku Hot Girl” is more of a B-roll. It includes various clips and photos from Megan’s trip to Japan. From trying to the local grub to walking in different stores, it includes it all. There is also a sneak peek of the photo shoot for the Hot Girl Summer Tour promo, which is a cool touch. For Megan, she continues to be at the top of her game. This set of visuals comes after an opening BET Award Show performance and an interview with Shannon Sharpe. This is her world, and we are just existing in it.

Megan Thee Stallion doesn’t appear to be upset with Jonathan Wright after the celebrity hairstylist got into an altercation with security at her album release party on Friday night. When Wright shared a photo of the two of them celebrating their friendship on Instagram, Megan joked about him “tearing sh*t up” at the event.

“Y’all 2 BEST Freeenns has Reunitedddddd,” Wright captioned the post with several heart-eyes emojis. Megan Thee Stallion Gets Freaky On NSFW New Track “Down Stairs DJ”

Today, Megan Thee Stallion finally unveiled her anxiously awaited new album, Megan. The project has already managed to make waves, as fans unpack rumored Nicki Minaj jabs, anime references, and more. Meg revealed that the project would revolve around concepts of “renewal and rebirth” ahead of the release, which it certainly does, among other things.

One track fans are especially hard at work dissecting is “Down Stairs DJ,” which is among the most NSFW cuts of the album. On it, the Texas-born performer raps about masturbating, and she doesn’t hold back in the slightest. Meg’s known for coming up with some wild and raunchy bars, but these are pretty explicit, even for her.

Megan Thee Stallion Raps About Pleasuring Herself On New Megan Song

“Me, myself, and I, and a rose / Ebony, lezzy, XVideos / Big titty, blonde hair, Anna Nicole / Spicy Spanish hottie, nympho,” she raps. Clearly, Meg is leaning heavily into themes of self-love on her latest project, and fans are here for it. As for some of her other tracks, such as “Figueroa” and “Rattle,” they’re sparking quite a debate on Twitter/X. She came out swinging on both of the fierce cuts, prompting chatter surrounding who exactly her scathing bars could have been directed at.

Of course, many speculate that she took shots at Nicki Minaj with lines like “I’m a motherf*ckin’ brat, not a Barbie,” “Ain’t got no tea on me, this h*e think she TMZ,” and more. While this didn’t necessarily come as a huge surprise considering their viral feud of earlier this year, the Hotties are still sounding off. As for the Barbz, they’re not happy, which is also to be expected. What do you think of Megan Thee Stallion’s new album, Megan? What about her NSFW track “Down Stairs DJ”? What’s your favorite track from the LP? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Megan Thee Stallion’s Latest Shots At Nicki Minaj Spark Mixed Reactions

Megan Thee Stallion’s new album MEGAN is finally out, and fans have a whole lot to discuss and react to when it comes to this collection of tracks. For example, some fans are going wild over her anime references on the project, and others took note of some of the more emotional and personal lyricism on the LP. After all, the Houston femcee went through a lot over the past few years, situations that saturated media exposure and discussion certainly didn’t help either way. But one conversation around her, and concerning this new album as a whole, is probably a more intentional choice.

Moreover, fans couldn’t help but notice that there seem to be a couple of shots on MEGAN against Nicki Minaj, and we all know there’s history there. Their “HISS” and “Big Foot” disses kicked off a year of battles in the game, and Megan Thee Stallion might’ve doubled down on her stances with new bars here. However, this is mostly speculative and there’s not a lot of direct links to talk about… at least, that’s what usually is the case with these subliminals. But she chose to rap “I’m a motherf***ing brat, not a Barbie” on “Figueroa,” and a couple of lines on “Rattle” suggest that Roman was a main target.

Megan Thee Stallion Might’ve Sent More Nicki Minaj Shots On MEGAN

Still, a lot of these early assumptions owe their current relevance and propagation to the very obvious lens that many fans initially viewed all of MEGAN through. Given how bombastic Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj’s beef was earlier this year, a lot of listeners went into this new album with that history at the forefront of their minds. It’s entirely possible that there are other bars on the record that we’re not even picking up on yet. In addition, it’s equally likely that these reads of “Figueroa” and “Rattle” provide inaccurate conclusions. Regardless, you can find more reactions to the project down below.

Fans React To The Album & Possible Disses

Meanwhile, we know that MEGAN had some release headaches to handle, such as difficult anime sample clearances. But Megan Thee Stallion should feel very proud of her latest work, and stay ready for a retort. Nicki Minaj could pop out whenever to claim her continued dominion of the rap throne. So we’ll see how this ages…

Megan Thee Stallion ‘Had To Jump Through Eight Million Hoops’ To Get A New Song Done At The Last Minute Over Her Love For Anime

Megan Thee Stallion’s new album, Megan, has arrived — but not without some difficulty for the Houston rapper. In a recent livestream, Meg shared how a major obstacle emerged just days before the album’s release, forcing her to extensively re-record one song, “Otaku Hot Girl,” to remove references to one of her favorite anime.

She said on Tuesday, June 25, her team got an email from the anime’s production company, requesting the removal of a sample from the show, as well as several character names from her lyrics. “They said, ‘Actually, I need you to take out the names of the characters that’s in the show’,” she recalled. “That is the whole song. That makes the song make sense. They said, ‘You could either do this — you could have the music clearance or you can have the name clearance.’ The music is what’s really important to me, but the names really tied it all together.”

Ultimately, she re-cut the song in a makeshift studio just before going Live on Instagram, telling fans, “I really hope y’all think this sh*t sound fire, ’cause I had to jump through eight million hoops to get this sh*t. Once y’all hear the sample, y’all are gonna know why they was giving us a hard time. This is a very big production company, so for them to even say yes — and I be cussing and sh*t — like I said, I’m grateful. I’m not complaining. I really wanted this sample. I really wanted to do it, so I’m doing everything I got to do to keep it. But change the names? Change the names the day before the album out? That was nuts.”

Even though Meg did not reveal the name of the anime or production company… it’s pretty obviously Jujutsu Kaisen, a show with which she’s already got something of a history. The beat, by Bankroll Got It, interpolates the show’s theme song, while Adam McArthur, the voice actor for the main character, Yuji Itadori, declares, “I like a tall woman with a big ass, like Grammy winner Megan Thee Stallion.” The show is licensed in the US by Crunchyroll and Viz Media, and is one of the more popular properties being licensed by the companies.

The line reading used in the song is not actually spoken in the show. Although Yuji does assert his fondness for statuesque women, the example given in the show is Jennifer Lawrence (who technically qualifies by Japanese standards, I guess). Fans online rewrote the line to pay homage to Thee Stallion’s love for anime and fitting physique, then convinced McArthur to re-read the line with the Meg reference. It’s kind of a shame we might not get to hear the original verses and see how she used the names of the characters to tie it all together, but it is cool to see the continued crossover between hip-hop and anime.

Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Down Stairs DJ’ Is An Extremely NSFW Song That’s About Exactly What You Think It Is

Following the release of Megan, Megan Thee Stallion is a trending topic on X (formerly Twitter). One of the most talked-about songs on the album so far is “Down Stairs DJ.” No, it’s not about a person with turntables in the basement. You know what it’s about and it’s wildly NSFW.

These are Meg’s lyrics from the chorus (via Genius):

“Ayy, I love my p*ssy and my p*ssy love me
Play with her for a lil’ while, then fall asleep
Asked the jeweler, ‘Can you make a crown shaped like a V?’
‘Cause the b*tch is a queen and she need a lil’ bling
Two fingers give me peace, switch hands, finna cheat
Then I sleep in my own wet spot in the sheets
N**** can’t stress me if he can’t sex me
Finna get lockjaw tryna impress me.”

Other select lines from throughout the song include, “Me, myself, and I, and a rose / Ebony, lezzy, XVideos,” “How I got this sh*t looking, lathered up, no soap,” and, “Ayy, ready, player one, fight / Arcade mode ’til the batteries die / Way I’m finna nut, let the CPU decide / Faithful to myself ’cause I do myself right.”

What Does Megan Thee Stallion Say About Nicki Minaj On Her New Album ‘Megan’?

Megan Thee Stallion has the headlining new album release of the week with Megan. That’s bad news for Nicki Minaj, since some lines appear to be shots fired right at her.

What Does Megan Thee Stallion Say About Nicki Minaj On “Figueroa”?

The song’s first verse starts with, “P*ssy hoes on the internet / Using me to drive traffic,” before ending, “I’m a motherf*cking brat, not a Barbie / On go with any b*tch that wanna start it.” The Barbie line especially appears to be a pretty clear jab at Minaj, who has often used Barbie-related themes in her music and public persona.

What Does Megan Thee Stallion Say About Nicki Minaj On “Rattle”?

The opening verse begins, “I wanted everybody right here with me / But that was my fault, being too friendly / I was thinking everything was all good / But the whole time, you was my enemy /
Only time y’all n****s in agreement / Is when all y’all tryna go against me / Only time y’all weak hoes link up / It’s when another b*tch tryna get rid of me.”

Then, there’s speculation that the following line could be about either Minaj or Meg’s former best friend Kelsey Nicole: “Damn, b*tch, it been four years / Worry ’bout your man and your kid / Your life must be boring as f*ck if you still reminiscing ’bout sh*it that we did.”

What Does Megan Thee Stallion Say About Nicki Minaj On “Hiss”?

Hiss” has been out since January, so this is a track fans are already familiar with. Most notably, towards the end of the track’s opening verse, Meg takes an apparent swing at Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty. She raps, “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law,” seemingly in reference to Petty’s sexual assault allegations and failure to register as a sex offender in California.

Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Megan’ Tracklist Features Victoria Monét, UGK, And Even A Snake Reference In Japanese

Megan Thee Stallion’s new album, Megan, is one day closer. Today, the Houston hottie shared the tracklist, revealing that the project will be 18 tracks long, with features from past collaborator GloRilla, Brooklyn drill rapper Kyle Ricch, R&B hitmaker Victoria Monét, Texas royalty UGK, and Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba. The snake motif that has unfurled over the past year continues, with “Boa,” “Cobra,” and “Hiss” joined by “Rattle” and “Mamushi,” which is the Japanese word for “snake.”

As usual, Megan’s love for Japanese anime shines through, as well, with a track titled “Otaku Hot Girl” borrowing the Japanese term for “fans” or “nerds,” which was co-opted by American anime fans to refer to themselves. Meg recently updated the cover of the album in response to fans’ lukewarm reception of the original, butterfly-themed cover. She went back to her snake theme, using a photo of herself emerging from a giant egg covered in slime.

During the tour promoting the album, Hot Girl Summer, Thee Stallion proved many of her haters wrong in saying she isn’t an arena artist, hanging out with WNBA stars like Angel Reese and Brittney Griner, and found herself upgraded to headliner on festivals like Lollapalooza and Outside Lands after Tyler The Creator dropped out.

Megan Thee Stallion Unveils “Megan” Tracklist Featuring GloRilla, Victoria Monet & More

Megan Thee Stallion is currently gearing up to drop her third studio album, Megan. The project is slated for release on June 28, which is only days away. As the Hotties prepare to hear what the hitmaker has in store for them, she’s taken to social media to share yet another exciting detail, the tracklist.

The tracklist reveals some exciting features too, from the likes of Kyle Ricch, Victoria Monét, UGK, and Yuki Chiba. Her “Hot Girl Summer” tour pal GloRilla will even be making an appearance. Of course, the unveiling has fans even more excited than they already were, as they share their hopes for the project on social media.

Megan Thee Stallion Shares Exciting New Details Of Upcoming Album

“ITS OFFICIALLY 1 WEEK UNTIL THEE ALBUM ‘MEGAN’ IS OUT,” she captioned her post. “Which song you claiming hotties ?” As expected, the tracklist also features various references to snakes. It includes song titles like “Mamushi,” which means snake in Japanese, “Rattle,” and more. Fans are certainly more eager than ever to get their hands on Meg’s upcoming LP, which so far, sounds like it’ll be a hit. She previewed one of her unreleased tracks earlier this month with a twerk-filled tour bus video, and while the song doesn’t have a name yet, they can’t wait for the full version.

Meg’s latest announcement also follows the unveiling of the project’s cover art, which sparked a bit of controversy and confusion. The original album cover shows Meg hanging halfway out of a Chrysalis and didn’t sit right with many. She later unveiled an alternate version, in which she was seen climbing out of an egg. This version was much closer to the cover that popped up on streaming services last week, which appears to be the official pick. What do you think of Megan Thee Stallion unveiling the tracklist of her upcoming album, Megan? Are you looking forward to hearing it when it drops next week?
