Megan Thee Stallion testified yesterday in the 2020 shooting incident involving herself and Tory Lanez. According to reports, Megan was on the stand for 45 minutes on Tuesday morning, and her post-lunch testimony got even more emotional. Megan even said that she wishes Tory Lanez had just killed her during the 2020 shooting incident so she wouldn’t have to be on the stand.

“I wish he would’ve just killed me if I knew I’d have to go through this,” Megan said. The Grammy award-winning artist added that the aftermath has been more difficult. She says that speaking up against Tory has put a target on her back and she is called a liar on the internet for insisting that Lanez shot her. She also said that she is constantly being slut shamed since the incident and that people are always questioning her about who she has slept with.

That morning, Megan had testified that her former best friend Kelsey Harris and Tory Lanez had gotten into a fight in the car, which prompted the “WAP” artist to get out of the car. However, just a few seconds after she got out of the vehicle, she claims that Tory, who was originally seated in the back seat, made his way to the passenger seat, yelled “dance bitch,” and started shooting at her.

Megan added that following the incident, Tory told her not to say anything and that he would give her $1 million.

When questioned by the defense about her friend Kelsey, Megan said that she did not know where Kelsey was when everything was going down. However, she said that she did not see Kelsey with the gun.

The trial between the state of California vs. Tory Lanez over the 2020 shooting incident of Megan Thee Stallion began yesterday. Already the case is heating up after the defense revealed some previously unknown information to the jury, and some information regarding Brooklyn Nets point guard Ben Simmons.

According to the defense, Tory Lanez told Megan’s former best friend Kelsey Harris that the Traumazine artist had been going behind her back and sleeping with the same men that her best friend slept with. Tory included himself, DaBaby, and Ben Simmons in that list of men.

Shortly after the internet found out that Ben Simmons had been sleeping with Meg and Kelsey, the Brooklyn Nets star decided to take to Instagram where he shared a recent meme of Rick Ross screaming “Accusations! False accusations,” during an AEW wrestling promo.

While prosecutors try to establish that Tory Lanez shot Megan Thee Stallion in the feet and yelled “dance bitch” out of the car, the defense is saying that there is a lot to the story that the prosecution is withholding. The defense argues that Lanez, Kelsey, and Megan were at Kylie Jenner’s house, and Meg and Kelsey got mad at Tory when she saw him in the pool with Kylie. Meg however caused a scene and Kylie told her to leave.

The three got in the car and Tory questioned Kelsey why she was defending her friend even though Meg was going behind her back and sleeping with the same men she was involved with. A fight between the two former best friends would ensue, and the rest is history.

Tory Lanez Legal Team ‘Confident’ That He Will Beat Charges From Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case

Tory Lanez has a lot to lose if convicted on all charges stemming from his 2020 shooting case involving Megan Thee Stallion. While Lanez defends his innocence ad Megan claims that he shot her, the truth will be revealed during their trial, which has already been postponed since earlier this year. However, Lanez’s lawyer is “confident” that the jury will find his client not guilty.

George Mgdesyan, Tory’s lawyer, told the press that he expects the jury to find his client innocent.

“We are confident that at the conclusion of this trial the truth will come out and Mr. Peterson will be exonerated of all charges,” Mgdesyan said.

Tory then reiterated his lawyers comments, and tweeted “NO WEAPON AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER.”

“I’m going to leave this here one more time …and watch how it ages … NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER,” Lanez tweeted. “… AND EVERY TONGUE THAT RISES AGAINST ME IN JUDGEMENT SHALL BE CONDEMNED u sit and watch now …. And don’t ever question the GOD I serve again.”

Earlier this week it was reported that prosecutors hit Tory with a third charge in relation to the 2020 shooting. Tory had previously been charged with assault with a semiautomatic firearm and another for carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle charge. Following a recent court appearance, Tory was also hit with a charge of discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

Tory Lanez Released From House Arrest Before the Start of Megan Thee Stallion Trial

Back in November, Tory Lanez was ordered to be placed on house arrest by a Los Angeles court before he goes to trial for allegedly shooting rapstress Megan Thee Stallion. Still, according to a recent report from Rolling Stone, Lanez had his ankle monitor removed pending the trial.

Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, was reportedly released from house arrest as jury selection in the Megan trial is set to begin. Opening statements in the trial are slated to start on Dec. 12.

Judge David Herriford spoke on the prosecution’s objection to releasing Lanex, saying, “I’m doing this mainly for the trial preparation aspect.”

Megan Thee Stallion recently opened up about her shooting incident with Tory Lanez in a new interview with Rolling Stone. She maintained that Tory is responsible for shooting her in both of her feet, and spoke on her ex-best friend, Kelsey Harris, saying that she accepted a bribe from Lanez to maintain her silence.

“I’m like, ‘Kelsey, as my best friend, why would you meet up with the person you saw shoot your best friend?’” Megan said. :She said, ‘Megan, y’all wasn’t answering my calls. My back was against the wall. I didn’t know what to do.’ What the f*ck do you mean, ‘Your back is against the wall? You’re the only person in this situation that would clear this up for me,’” she added.

“This girl told me out her mouth, ‘He told me, ‘Oh, thank you for not saying nothing. Now let me invest in your business. Let me do this. Let me do that.’ And all I know was, from that day on, she never said nothing else about the whole situation online.”

But on Wednesday, June 15, Kelsey responded to Megan on Instagram and issued a threat to the “Thot Sh*t” rapper.

“When people can’t control you, they try to control how people view you,” Kelsey wrote. She followed her post up with a video clarifying her stance. “If y’all not catching onto the social media games by now … Then I don’t know what to tell y’all. I knew this was going to happen.”

She continued, saying “This is just the beginning y’all. I know y’all want me to talk. So, like, when it’s my turn. Just know. I’m going to break everything the fuck down and we going to see who really look bad in the end.”

Meg has since not responded to Kelsey, and the two have not talked since the shooting that occurred in July 2020. Meg and Tory’s trial is set to begin in September.

According to Gangat’s IG post, “Two extremely interesting facts that came out about the Tory Lanez case”. “First, the police have admitted into evidence, they’ve testified, that the other woman who was involved here, they tested her hand for gunpowder shot residue, and she had gun powder residue on it, suggesting that she may have been the shooter. Number two, there was an eyewitness, somebody who was a third party who saw the whole thing and he said, ‘I saw two men and another woman beating on Meg.’ As for who pulled the trigger? He said, ‘I don’t know but I did see the muzzle flash go off and the other woman was the one closest to the muzzle flash.’”

During yesterday’s hearing, Lanez was cited for violating the no contact order with Megan Thee Stallion handed down by the judge. He was taken into custody and forced to pay a $350 bail in order to be released.

Tory Lanez Hit With $350K Bail At Megan Thee Stallion Court Hearing

According to a recent report from Rolling Stone, Tory Lanez was detained in a Los Angeles courtroom for violating a no contact order in Megan Thee Stallion’s felony assault case and will not be released until posting the $350K bail handed down by the judge.

Rolling Stone‘s Nancy Dillon reported that Lanez left the courtroom in handcuffs and was detained until he posts his new bail requirements. The judge added that Lanez could not refer to Thee Stallion in any way on social media until the case was over.

Even though the prosecutors suggested that his baile be set at a whopping $5 million, Judge David Herriford found the singer’s social media activity to be targeting Tina Snow with “clear messages” sent through subliminal tweets was in clear violation and settled on $350K..

The tweet that caused Lanez the most damage in court was one sent February 23 where Lanez referred to Meg as “U” and spoke about how he was “fucking two best friends.”

“Good D*ick had me fucking 2 best friends … and I got caught … that’s what I apologized for … it’s sick how u Spun it tho,” he said.

The case will resume on September 14.

Los Angeles D.A. Says There’s Substantial Evidence to Convict Tory Lanez Of Felony Assault In Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case

This week there has been a lot of misinformation spread about the Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion shooting case. DJ Akademiks caught heat earlier this week for sharing a false report that said that none of Tory’s DNA was found on the gun used to shoot Megan. Megan, along with reporters from the New York Post and Rolling Stone, responded to Ak saying that DNA hadn’t even been introduced during the hearing.

To clear things up, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office sent a statement to HipHopDX regarding the case, saying that they believe there is strong evidence that supports the charges against Lanez.

“Although we are legally prohibited from commenting on the evidence and will continue to abide by that obligation, our office is under an ethical duty to only proceed on charges which we believe can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt and which have already been upheld by a judge after presentation of evidence at the preliminary hearing,” the statement read. “We believe the evidence substantially supports the charges and allegations and that evidence will be borne out in court.”

Earlier this week, Megan revealed text messages that Tory Lanez sent her following the shooting, apologizing for what he did. However, Lanez still maintains his innocence and says that he was apologizing for sleeping with Megan’s best friend Kelsey.
