Tristan Thompson Ordered To Pay Baby Mama $58K In Owed Child Support

A judge has ordered Tristan Thompson to pay Maralee Nichols $58K in owed child support. Thompson reportedly skipped payments between September 2023 and January 2024 after being ordered to pay Nichols $9.5K a month. The couple share a two-year-old son, Theo.

Of course, Theo isn’t the only child Thompson has been accused of neglecting. “Its been so hard to refrain from speaking up, and out of respect for my sister, I haven’t for over 7 years. but this is just too much. It’s so painful to see how Tristan can find the time to do these nice things for others but can’t seem to show up and be a real parent to my nephew Prince,” read a post from the sister of another of Thompson’s BMs last year. Additionally, the post went on to call out Kim Kardashian for defending Thompson’s character on a “global platform”.

Elsewhere, Kourtney Kardashian spent most of her time on the latest season of The Kardashians going after Thompson. “I see these TikTok videos and there’s these people and they’re like, ‘I am a sociopath narcissist. I have no empathy, no feelings.’ Do you think there’s any part of you that relates to that?” Kardashian asked Thompson in a late-season episode. Thompson attempted to deflect, focusing his response on Khloé. “You should definitely feel the way you feel, 100%, because if it was my sister, I’d feel the same way. I think for me, you know, I want Khloé to be happy and whatever that may be, I’m fully supportive of that,” Thompson replied.

However, Kourtney remained unconvinced. “Yeah, like if the actions don’t match the words, it’s hard to believe the person with the actions,” she shot back at Thompson. Furthermore, Kourtney took aim at not just Thompson, but also her family at large. “In this family, you guys are so lucky — all the guys — because for whatever reason, it’s held a higher priority of, ‘Let’s keep everyone happy and getting along, and let’s make sure Tristan is at Christmas Eve and everyone’s there, and it’s one big happy family and let’s make sure everything’s fun and happy’. For some reason, that takes a priority in this family over setting a boundary or having someone’s back or having someone’s side,” Kourtney lamented.

Tristan Thompson is far from perfect, and while he’s shown considerable growth in 2023, not every woman in the athlete’s life is satisfied with his behaviour. For instance, the NBA star’s third baby mama, Maralee Nichols, continues to raise their two-year-old son, Theo, on her own while the Canadian focuses on his athletic career and attempting to mend his broken bond with Khloe Kardashian. As you may recall, a surrogate was carrying his second child with the reality starlet when news broke about his affair with Nichols, which resulted in an unexpected pregnancy.

The news was devastating for Kardashian and surely embarrassing for Thompson, who initially denied paternity. Once official documents proved otherwise, though, he took some accountability for his actions and offered a public apology to True and Tatum’s mom. On recent episodes of the famous family’s Hulu series, Khloe’s sisters have been grilling Thompson about his habit of cheating. While the father of four clearly has awareness about what’s causing this pattern in his life, he seemed to tell the Good American founder that for men, these lessons are often learned by the time its “too late” for them to find happiness.

While Thompson seeks to course correct moving into the new year, Nichols is proudly flaunting her body on IG while commemorating the holiday season. “December is my favourite month. Sagittarius season and Christmas ,” she wrote while showing off her sculpted body in a shiny dress. Many comments were hyping the 32-year-old up, but still, she couldn’t help but notice those leaning more on the inappropriate side. “[Tristan] is a fool,” one user wrote. “If you were mine, at least three more kids with [you].”

Tristan Thompson’s Baby Mama Maralee Nichols Celebrates Theo’s 2nd Birthday, Athlete Keeps Quiet

Getting caught in the act of cheating is embarrassing enough, but NBA star Tristan Thompson has done it enough times that he now is known as “Third Trimester Thompson.” When Khloe Kardashian was in labour with their firstborn, True, he was in an infidelity scandal that made national headlines. From there on, their co-parenting relationship was rocky, though they have made several attempts to reconcile over the years. More recently, the on-again-off-again couple decided to have another baby via surrogate. That experience was going to be a healing one for the reality star. However, the hurt struck her again after Thompson got another woman, Maralee Nichols, pregnant.

The Canadian initially tried to deny his role in the situation. After taking a paternity test he had no choice but to accept responsibility for, once again, breaking Kardashian’s heart. Their son, Tatum, spends a reasonable amount of time with the busy baller from what we’ve been, but Nichols’ baby boy, Theo, didn’t get so much as a birthday shoutout from Thompson when he turned two on Friday (December 1).

On her Story, Nichols reposted an elegant maternity shot that shows her nude body swinging from a sheer piece of fabric. “Can’t believe my baby is two today , she wrote beneath it, reflecting on how much Theo has grown in that time. Even if Thompson isn’t interested in keeping up with his third child, many social media users are following the young boy’s journey into adolescence alongside Maralee.

When it comes to Maralee Nichols and her little boy, Theo, the NBA player has reportedly failed to give his full attention there as well. As The Sun reports, Thompson’s third child has yet to meet his father, but that doesn’t mean he’s not picking up on the Canadian’s athletic abilities. Over the weekend, Nichols shared a look at Theo playing soccer outdoors, proving that a love for sports just may run in his genes. Elsewhere on her Story, the fitness model posted a sweet clip of her growing boy walking alongside her small dogs.

The Toronto native pays a reported $9,500/month in child support after offering to pay Nichols $75K in hush money last summer.

Maralee Nichols melted hearts this week with an adorable set of pictures of bedtime with her son. Nichols, who shares a son with NBA player Tristan Thompson, shared pictures of her and Theo getting ready for bed. In the pictures, posted to Nichols’ Instagram story, she is seen with reading with the 21-month-old before cradling a sleeping Theo against her chest in another photo. Furthermore, it appears that Nichols is giving Theo a headstart on his faith. In the reading photo, they can be seen reading a page of a book entitled “Awesome God”.

Theo was born in December 2021 and was confirmed to be Thompson’s after Nichols filed a paternity suit in an effort to receive child support. Nichols, who is best known as a fitness influencer, has shared several glimpses into her life with Theo. In the past, they’ve been to zoos and farmer’s markets together. Theo is Thompson’s third child. Overall, Thompson has four children with three women.

Thompson blindsided Khloé Kardashian on the latest episode of The Kardashians with an impromptu declaration that he still cares deeply about her. “I’ve done so many wrong things, why [did I] put you through that? You’re my person.” Kardashian didn’t immediately respond to the comment and still looked stunned when a producer how she felt about what Thompson said.

Thompson and Kardashian’s romance dates back to 2016. However, things fell apart after Thompson was caught cheating on Kardashian with multiple women during her pregnancy. Maralee Nichols recently took to social media, dropping off some rare footage of her son with Tristan Thompson, Theo. Famously, news of Nichols’ pregnancy came out amid Thompson’s relationship with Khloe Kardashian, leading to their split. Nichols appears to be enjoying time with her son a lot as of late, while she claims that the pro basketball player has yet to meet him. In the clip, the 1-year-old is seen adorably picking limes from a tree.

The clips come shortly after recent news about another one of the mothers of Thompson’s kids, Jordan Craig. At the end of last month, she filed to keep his child support payments the same, despite his earnings dropping by more than $8 million. Earlier this year, Thompson lost his mother Andrea, who unexpectedly passed away after a heart attack in January. Following his mother’s death, Thompson leaned on his ex, Khloe, with whom he shares two children. This was showcased on the latest season of The Kardashians. Thompson ended up moving into Khloe’s house, along with his younger brother Amari. Amari’s disabilities make him unable to care for himself. Earlier this week, it was revealed that Thompson has filed to become the 17-year-old’s legal guardian.

After Thompson’s grieving process was documented on The Kardashians, his brother Dishawn took to social media to weigh in. “Death for a storyline ,” he wrote.
