Jaden Smith & Jada Pinkett Step Out In South Korea For Louis Vuitton’s Pre-Fall Runway: Photos

Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk gave her the opportunity to interview dozens of close friends and fellow celebrities since its 2018 inception. Among them were Gabrielle Union, Kid Cudi, and Jordyn Woods, just to name a few. Despite its popularity and success, it was announced earlier this week that the Facebook Watch series has been cancelled, along with all others produced by the platform. The news is certainly sad, but the mother of two isn’t letting it dampen her mood too much.

As DailyMail reports, she and her son Jaden Smith are presently in South Korea, where the Pursuit of Happyness actor has been doing plenty of shopping at Louis Vuitton. The fashion brand is actually what brought them overseas, as they stepped out for the Pre-Fall runway on Friday (April 28) in their best dressed. Elsewhere in Seoul, Jaden looks to be exploring the city’s hidden gems in his crisp white New Balances.

Jaden Smith’s South Korea Photo Dump

The Louis Vuitton event took place yesterday at the Jamsugyo Bridge near the Hangang River. Both Jada and her eldest were appropriately dressed for the damp spring weather. The 51-year-old layered a black leather trench coat over a sweater and trim pants in the same colour. She completed the look with monogrammed combat boots, as well as a large bag in a deep brown colour. As for Jaden, he opted for a boxier cut, pairing oversized trousers with a large blazer. He selected platform loafers to wear on his feet and tucked a flashy silver necklace under his coat.

She certainly looked amazing at the fashion show, but that hasn’t stopped curious fans from asking the actress if Red Table Talk will be finding a new home in the future. The answer remains unknown at this time, but we’ll surely fill you in with any updates later. Take a look at Jada Pinkett and Jaden Smith’s designer duds for Louis Vuitton’s latest runway show below, and share your thoughts in the comments.

Rihanna & Baby Fenty Hit Up Louis Vuitton For A Paris Shopping Spree

If there’s anyone in full mommy mode right now, it would have to be Rihanna. The singer and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, happily shocked the world with an announcement of her first pregnancy in January 2022. Their big news was followed by plenty of historic “Fashion Killa” moments, as well as the reveal of their second baby during her performance at the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime show. It remains unclear exactly how far along the Bad Gal is at this point, or whether she’ll be having a boy or girl. However, she certainly hasn’t been shy about showing off her budding belly during her ongoing vacation in Paris.

Rocky and Rih first flew to the city earlier this month along with their son, known to the world as Baby Fenty. One of their initial stops was at Jay-Z’s performance in tandem with Louis Vuitton to celebrate Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol. Since then, fans and paparazzi have captured photos and videos of the Testing rapper filming a music video in Paris, while his girlfriend has been dining at fine restaurants and dropping bags at stores like Louis Vuitton.

Rihanna and Her Son Shop Till They Drop

On Friday (April 21), the 35-year-old and her firstborn stylishly stepped out to get their shop on. While Rihanna donned mid-wash jeans, a cropped multi-colour sweater, and a windbreaker to match, her little boy sat comfortably in her arm, rocking a Raiders bomber jacket over a grey sweatsuit. Even with a baby in her stomach and one to carry, the fashionista still opted to wear a pair of strappy heels, also carrying a monogrammed LV bag for her trip to the designer shop.

It remains unclear exactly what the “Rude Boy” hitmaker spent her money on, though cameras did catch her leaving the store with some new goodies in hand. Since announcing she’s with child once again, some of the best maternity looks we’ve seen from Rihanna have come from this trip to Paris. Keep scrolling to see more photos of her recent outfits, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Jay-Z Performs “N***as In Paris” In Paris To A Wild Crowd

Jay-Z’s surprise concert with Louis Vuitton in Paris to celebrate the work of Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat just wrapped up, and the clips look absolutely insane. With just two days of anticipation, Hov let fans know that he was returning to the stage, and brought an insane tracklist to boot. Not only did it span his entire catalog (shout out to the fellow “Can I Live” fans out there), but it made for meta gold. Of course “N***as In Paris” in Paris was an absolute smasher, with the crowd screaming every lyric back at the New York legend.

The auditorium presumably fits up to 1,000 people, but the energy might as well have come from a whole stadium of fans. Also, he played tracks like “Can’t Knock The Hustle,” “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love),” “Oceans,” and “Encore.” Last we heard from Jay on the stage was at this year’s Grammys, where he performed the track “GOD DID,” and his fantastic verse on it wowed audiences. “I thought about it, I was in my head and I just broke down and said, ‘You know, it’s a four-minute verse.’ Again, for the culture, for Hip Hop, we got to do that,” he said in a TIDAL interview.

Jay-Z Gives The Crowd In Paris A Fantastic Show

“This ain’t your traditional song,” the 53-year-old continued. “It’s not your traditional structure of what you think a song that would be nominated for Song of the Year would sound like. It’s not what you expect. And for the culture and for Hip Hop, we got to do that. We owe that. This thing that changed our lives. We got to do that. A four-minute verse performed at the Grammys. We owe it to the culture, and it ain’t even a burden. It’s a blessing. It’s easy and fun.” Check out the tracklist from Jay’s Paris performance down below, plus some other clips. As always, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates from Jay-Z.

Jay-Z Announces Surprise Celebration Concert In Paris

It’s a rarity to see Jay-Z on stage these days, though it’s not impossible. The Brooklyn-bred rapper has clearly put more effort towards building his empire rather than recording in the five years since releasing 4:44. Still, he hasn’t left fans empty-handed, providing an influx of features and dishing out a collab project with Beyoncé and Jay Electronica (unofficially). Seldom does he appear on stage but it seems like fans (particularly the wealthy ones) could have the opportunity to see him in the flesh.

Foundation Louis Vuitton announced that Jay-Z will perform an incredibly intimate show this Friday to help roll out the Basquiat x Warhol Painting Four Hands exhibition. The concert takes place this Friday, April 14th in Paris for a “celebratory concert to pay tribute to Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat,” per the website. Hov will take the stage at Foundation Lous Vuitton’s Auditorium, which hosts a capacity of 320 to 1000 spectators at a time. Tickets go for €140 ($153.81 USD) and the show begins at 9 p.m.

Jay-Z Hits The Stage

The upcoming show will mark Jay-Z’s first performance in Paris since the On The Run II tour with Beyoncé in 2018. However, Hov’s performance is among the many events coinciding with the Basquiat X Warhol exhibit, which launched on April 4th. The exhibit runs until August 28th and will include a plethora of parties and various events celebrating the two artists. Perhaps, they’ll have even more major performances in store but there’s no doubt that Jay will bless fans with an incredible show filled with his greatest hits. Hopefully, he’ll play a few deep cuts.

The rapper’s rarely appeared on stage in recent times, though his upcoming show in Paris wouldn’t mark his first performance of the year. In February, he appeared alongside Rick Ross and Lil Wayne for DJ Khaled’s extravagant performance of “God Did” at the 2023 Grammy Awards. The song also earned Jay-Z two nominations at the award show this year, bringing him to 84 total nods throughout his career. Hopefully, Jay-Z will has more shows in store for the remainder of 2023. Check out the announcement above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.

Fat Joe Explains Why He Turned Down $150K For Virgil Abloh Louis Vuitton Shoes

Fat Joe is someone who has always been considered a sneakerhead. Overall, he loves his sneakers. He has an extensive collection that can rival anybody in the hip-hop world. Consequently, when you reach a certain level of fame, you start to get a whole lot of gifts. Over the years, brands have reached out to him with seeded sneakers. Moreover, his connections have oftentimes led him to receive “friends and family” sneakers. These are shoes that are very limited and were made just for specific people related to the designer or influencer.

One of the larger collections that people have been fawning over as of late, is the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 collection. Ultimately, this was one of Virgil Abloh’s final pieces prior to his untimely passing. Overall, these shoes are extremely expensive. Moreover, there were some friends and family colorways that were divided up amongst some very famous people. As it turns out, Fat Joe was one of the beneficiaries of this. In a recent video on his Instagram, the legendary artist even revealed that people have been making wild offers.

Fat Joe Reveals His Logic

In the video above, reposted by @thehiphopwolf, you can see Fat Joe explain some of the offers he has received. Overall, the highest bid so far has been a whopping $150K. However, Fat Joe has no intentions of selling the shoes. Although it has been hard for him to not accept the various offers that have come in, he believes it would be against his morals to sell. This is because the shoes were a gift. Moreover, when you contemplate just how much Virgil Abloh means to so many, you can see why he would hang on to these. Either way, this just goes to show how wild the sneaker market can be sometimes.

Virgil Abloh’s work with the likes of Louis Vuitton and Nike was the stuff of legend. Even now, he is considered to be one of the greatest streetwear designers ever. That said, it should come as no surprise that people are looking to pay top dollar for some ultra-rare kicks. Let us know what you think of Fat Joe and his rationale, in the comments below.

Pharrell’s appearance at London Fashion Week follows the recent announcement of his spot as the new Men’s Creative Director at Louis Vuitton. He supersedes Virgil Abloh in this role following the entrepreneur’s tragic death in 2021. In a statement released on LV’s website, CEO Pietro Beccari wrote a heartfelt message to his old friend.

“I am glad to welcome Pharrell back home after our collaborations in 2004 and 2008 for Louis Vuitton, as our new Men’s Creative Director,” he began. “His creative vision beyond fashion will undoubtedly lead Louis Vuitton towards a new and very exciting chapter.” Thus far, much of the fashion industry is eager to see what Skateboard P’s first collection will look like.

Pharrell As Louis Vuitton’s New Men’s Creative Director

Jim Jones Salutes Pharrell on New Louis Vuitton Position: ‘We Going To Call Him Pharrell Louis’

Jim Jones Salutes Pharrell on New Louis Vuitton Position

Jim Jones is happy to see Pharrell Williams take the top spot of menswear for Louis Vuitton. Jones was tracked down by TMZ, who asked for his input on the news.

“I think that Pharrell fills the position from Virgil in a great way, and I think Virgil would be very satisfied with who they chose to pick to fill that position.”

Jones recalled when he and Cam’ron worked with Pharrell on music, and he arrived in a fur coat. Not weird, right? Except it was in the summer.

“He was already ahead of his time when it comes to fashion and things like that. I tip my hat to Pharrell. I used to call him Pharrell Chanel, but now we going to call him Pharrell Louis.”

According to The Wall Street Journal, Pharrell will take the role previously held by Virgil Abloh, who died in 2021.

Williams is the second Black American to be appointed to the head design position of the famed luxury brand.

The appointment of Pharrell looks to continue to build upon post-pandemic momentum, which has led Louis Vuitton to be the largest market-evaluated brand in Europe, launching Bernard Arnault, LVMH chairman, and CEO, over Elon Musk as the world’s richest person.

At publishing, representatives for Pharrell did not offer a comment to the WSJ.

Throughout his career, Pharrell has become one of the biggest Hip-Hop producers of all time, individually and as half of The Neptunes. In the fashion wing of his career, Pharrell partnered with Japanese fashion icon Nigo to create Billionaire Boys Club and the Ice Cream sneaker brand.

Jim Jones & Juelz Santana React To Pharrell Williams Being Named Creative Director Of Louis Vuitton

Jim Jones and Juelz Santana are happy with Louis Vuitton’s decision to select Pharrell Williams as the brand’s next Men’s Creative Director. The two New York rappers, who have collaborated with Pharrell many times, discussed the position with TMZ, earlier this week. Pharrell is stepping into the position that was previously held by Virgil Abloh until his death in 2021.

“I think Pharrell deserved that position, “Jones said, before describing him as one of the “curators for fashion in hip-hop.” He added: “I remember the first time we ever had a session– me and Cam with Pharrell. His style was so different. He had on a fur coat in the summertime. I never understood it. But looking back at it and seeing forward, he was already ahead of his time when it comes to fashion and things like that so I tip my hat to Pharrell. I used to call him Pharrell Chanel, but now we gonna call him Pharrell Louis.”

Jim Jones’ Reaction

He also said that Virgil Abloh would be “very satisfied” with the brand selecting Pharrell to replace him. Abloh took over the position in 2018, making him the first Black artistic director of Louis Vuitton. In the role, he brought a younger demographic to the iconic French fashion house. His death shocked the world when it was announced that he had privately been battling with cancer.

Louis Vuitton announced that Pharrell would be taking over its menswear division in a statement release, last week. “I am glad to welcome Pharrell back home, after our collaborations in 2004 and 2008 for Louis Vuitton, as our new Men’s Creative Director,” Pietro Beccari, Louis Vuitton’s chairman and CEO, said. “His creative vision beyond fashion will undoubtedly lead Louis Vuitton towards a new and very exciting chapter.”

Elsewhere in Jim Jones’ interview with TMZ, he reflected on meeting with NYC Mayor Eric Adams. In doing so, he explained that he’s been trying to get a star-studded group of artists together for the Mayor’s Cup of Dance. He says that he wants Fabolous and Maino to represent Brooklyn, Cardi B and Fat Joe to represent the Bronx, and Nas and N.O.R.E. to represent Queens. Jones previously met with Eric Adams when attended Drake’s sold-out Apollo Theater.
