Logan Paul celebrated his recent WWE title win with an impromptu series of thirst traps. Entitled “Champ Life”, the series of images shows Paul cuddling the belt in bed, smoking a cigar in a cowboy hat with the belt, wearing it at the gym, and using it to remain with Instagram’s ToS while in the shower. Paul was crowned the new WWE US Champion after taking down Rey Mysterio at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia last weekend. Not The Easiest Road For PRIME

However, things have been pretty tough for the brand. Back in July, PRIME was the subject of a Canadian recall before the drink was even available in the country. Health Canada added PRIME Energy to a list of recalled beverages, citing the drink’s high caffeine content. Paul attributed the recall to “Illegal or unauthorized imports.” The YouTubers also stated that their plans to eventually release a version of PRIME that is compliant with Canadian regulations.

However, it’s not the only controversy surrounding the brand. Senator Chuck Schumer called the drink a “serious health concern” after it was reported that a 12oz can in the United States contains 200mg of caffeine. Furthermore, in May, a child in the United Kingdom suffered cardiac arrest after consuming a can of PRIME. The UK variant of the drink contains 140mg of caffeine. The former Bellator fighter claimed that the posts he made about Nina Agdal, the fiancee of Logan Paul, were “parody, satire, comedy, farce or opinions”. He also claimed they were only posted to promote the fight and enhance the narrative of Danis being the “bad guy” in the fight. This is in stark contrast to Danis’ social media persona, where he called Agdal a “slut” on multiple occasions and called her a “Karen” for suing him. Furthermore, Danis claimed he never used images that weren’t already publicly available. Additionally, he argued that his posts were protected under the First Amendment. Drake Picked The Winner For The Logan Paul Vs. Dillon Danis Fight But His Bet Still Lost Nearly $1 Million

Drake’s weird gambling luck struck again this weekend. The Stake ambassador dropped $850,000 banking on Logan Paul to defeat Dillon Danis in the latter fighter’s debut match. While he was right in picking the winner, however, he banked it all on Paul to defeat Danis by knockout. Instead, Danis, who had never boxed but did compete in a pair of MMA matches — both pre-pandemic, by the way — tried to choke out Paul, resulting in a disqualification — and losing Drake nearly $1 million in the process.

Drake previously lost money picking the winner in March this year, after selecting the University of Connecticut to take home the NCAA National Championship. Unfortunately for him, he placed $250,000 on a spread of 6-10 points on the final score and “only” $100,000 on more than 10 with the final score at 76-59, resulting in a net loss of around $20,000 (the payout for the winning bet was only $230,000).

The For All The Dogs rapper is never down for long, though. He again picked the winner of a basketball championship in June, selecting the Denver Nuggets to beat the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. They did, and he took home $850,000 — the same amount he lost over this weekend. It just goes to show that the so-called “Drake Curse” may be a lot of hot air, but nobody is immune to taking an L, not even Drake. Considering how often his picks are good though, his luck should turn around soon enough.
