Dreamville Festival 2024 Lineup: J. Cole, Nicki Minaj, SZA, Chris Brown & More

The wait is finally over: we now have the official lineup and headliners for the Dreamville Festival this year in Raleigh, North Caroline. Moreover, tickets are still available here, and it will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 6 and 7 at the Dorothea Dix Park six years after its original inception. The festival’s headliners are none other than J. Cole himself, Nicki Minaj, SZA, and Chris Brown. Other performers are the following: JID, ScHoolboy Q, Lil Yachty, Sexyy Red, Jeremih, EARTHGANG, Teezo Touchdown, Amaarae, Lute, Luh Tyler, Domani, Rema, Jeezy, Monica, Rae Sremmurd, Key Glock, Bas, Muni Long, Cozz, Omen, TiaCorine, and Chase Shakur.

Furthermore, this is shaping up to be a pretty stacked year when it comes to artist-led music festivals. For example, Jack Harlow recently announced his inaugural Gazebo Music Festival in Louisville Kentucky on Memorial Day weekend (May 25 and 26) this year. The lineup actually has some crossover with the Dreamville Festival, as expected for festival seasons, with SZA and Amaarae also hitting the stage at Gazebo. But the most exciting part about this lineup is the names that you might not catch anywhere else, such as what is presumably ScHoolboy Q’s first performance after dropping his new album BLUE LIPS.

Dreamville Festival 2024: See Lineup

Meanwhile, we already knew that Nicki Minaj was headlining, but her comments on the London festival Wireless might suggest her excitement for Dreamville. “Instead of doing another arena show in London after we sold out in the first week, I opted to do Wireless Festival,” she said of her U.K. travels. “This year’s show will be a billion times more special, creative, beautiful, cohesive, ugh! I’m so excited. I’d like to tell you guys thank you in advance. Last year was so meaningful but won’t compare. Just wait & see.”

As such, maybe this will be her big chance to show out for Raleigh during her Pink Friday 2 world tour. Who would you be the most excited to see on this lineup, and are you copping tickets for the record label’s special event? Whatever the case, drop your thoughts in the comments section down below. Andre 3000, Nas, And Lil Wayne Headline Stacked Roots Picnic 2024 Lineup

The Roots are back with their annual Roots Picnic festival. The event has been dazzling Philly every year since 2008 and plans for the newest edition hit the internet today. The festival will take place later this year on June 1 and 2 and just unveiled the impressive lineup of performers who will take the stage. The main event is a special performance where The Roots themselves will team up with Lil Wayne to “celebrate New Orleans.”

The entire line-up is stacked with talent. Andre 3000 will be doing a special live performance of his recent ambient jazz album New Blue Sun. Nas will take the stage fresh off of the conclusion of years of collaborations with Hit-Boy that resulted in 6 entire albums. Lil Wayne And The Roots Headlining Together

Over the weekend, Lil Wayne coached in the NBA celebrity All-Star game. He and Stephen A. Smith took the reigns of one team while 50 Cent and Shannon Sharpe coached the other. While there was expectedly quite a bit of trash talk between all parties leading up to the big game, it was all in good faith. Wayne and 50 linked up for some pictures together after the event.

Earlier this month Wayne doubled down on a claim that has fans excited. He once again expressed a desire to headline the Super Bowl. What do you think of the impressive roster of new and old for this year’s Roots picnic? How does it compare to line-ups from some of the other big festivals announced so far this year? Mary J. Blige Will Perform At Lovers & Friends After All

Mary J. Blige will be performing at the Lovers and Friends festival in Las Vegas, this May, after a back and forth between herself and the event organizers over whether she would be present. After the organizers initially listed her on the lineup during their announcement, Blige labeled her inclusion inaccurate in a post on her Instagram Story.

“I am beyond humbled by the response from all of you about the announcement of me on Lovers & Friends Festival,” she wrote. “Unfortunately my inclusion was an error as I will be busy in preparation for my Strength of a Woman Summit just one week later! I have the greatest fans in the world and can’t wait to see you in New York in a few short months!”

When fans brought up her denial of being on the lineup in response, the account wrote back: “Yes she will be here! She took down the post. See you in Vegas.”

Both Meek and Ross recently spoke with Zane Lowe at Apple Music 1 about the release. Meek explained that the two get “serious” when working together. “When we get in the studio, that sh*tt gets serious. Ross getting into serious mode,” Meek said at the time. “He trying to knock that shit out and get to work. And you know me, he giving me that gas. I’m going to run jumping out that window a hundred miles an hour. But we joke all the time. You’re going to see a lot of that throughout the content and all that. And it’s organic too, Zane. We came up with this idea and we got around each other, built, vibed out and then got in the studio. It don’t matter where we’re recording at, we could be in the closet, Rose going to get this shit done.”

Tyler, The Creator Unveils Full Camp Flog Gnaw Lineup: Kendrick Lamar, SZA & More

Well, after four years since its last iteration in 2019, Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival is back on November 11 and 12 this year at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Moreover, if you were online just a few hours ago, you know that the festival live-streamed people painting each and every artist on the lineup on a mural. Now, we have the full list of performers, and it’s an eclectic, exciting, and often surprising collection of amazing talent. Of course, the Hawthorne native’s reputation as a creative and curator precedes him, but this was still no less joyous to see unfold. Unfortunately, tickets for it sold out almost immediately, but if you’re looking for one, best of luck to you on your resale cop journey.

Furthermore, let’s talk about this lineup. Camp Flog Gnaw will host the first joint set from The Hillbillies, better known as Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem. Keeping up with TDE connections, SZA will also perform, as well as Tyler himself, obviously. Other massive names on the lineup include Ice Spice, Kali Uchis, Lil Yachty, Rex Orange County, Dominic Fike, PinkPantheress, and former BROCKHAMPTON mastermind Kevin Abstract. In addition, the festival also brought on Fuerza Regida, the regional Mexican collective that’s making huge waves in the Latin American market, which is the most special and surprising addition here.

Camp Flog Gnaw 2023 Lineup

However, let’s not forget about some Odd Future era mainstays at Camp Flog Gnaw: Syd, Earl Sweatshirt, Mike G, Domo Genesis, and Left Brain. Also, many of Tyler’s past collaborators have a spot on the bill, like Teezo Touchdown, Maxo Kream, Fana Hues, and DAISY WORLD. One of the most exciting placements for hip-hop fans, though, has to be a set from Clipse, as well as other great MCs and rising groups like Maxo (not the Kream variety), redveil, Paris Texas, AG Club, and many more. BADBADNOTGOOD, Ravyn Lenae, WILLOW, Toro Y Moi, Khamari, julie, Liv.e, beabadoobee, and d4vd are among other exciting acts.

Meanwhile, it feels like it was ages ago that the CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST pioneer teased the festival’s return in Keem and Kendrick’s “The Hillbillies” music video. Now, fans can finally start to think about who they want to see, and who’s going to steal the show. Let us know who you are most excited to see (whether live or streamed) in the comments down below. As always, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Tyler, The Creator and Camp Flog Gnaw.

Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Headliners Revealed On Livestream

Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival is making its grand return this year, and that means a grand reveal. Moreover, the festival’s official website and Twitch page are currently live-streaming the reveal of its lineup as of writing this article. The footage shows various people painting the names on a festival mural, and they’re still painting at the time of publishing. Still, there are already some exciting names on display, and we’re still waiting on some of the more big and mainstream announcements. Given all the anticipation for this upcoming spectacle on November 11 and 12 of this year in Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, fans went into a frenzy.

Furthermore, this is Camp Flog Gnaw’s first iteration in four years, as it hadn’t ran since 2019. That year, performers and special guests included Tyler himself, A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, a controversial Drake appearance, and many, many more. Unfortunately, tickets for this year’s run sold out lighting-fast, so you’ll be hard-pressed to find one if you don’t have yours already. Regardless, this creative and anticipation-building way to reveal its performers is bringing everyone along for the ride.

What’s more is that the Hawthorne creative and innovator revealed Camp Flog Gnaw’s return in perhaps the coolest way possible. If you didn’t already know, he had a cameo appearance in Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar’s music video for their loosie, “The Hillbillies.” During it, they performed at Dodger Stadium and Tyler flashed a badge that read “Camp Flog Gnaw 2023,” and followed the video with an official announcement. With that in mind, many expect for the pgLang MCs to appear on this lineup very soon.

Meanwhile, it’s still incomplete, but let’s run through some of the many names already announced as of writing this article. There’s redveil, AG Club, Paris Texas, Ravyn Lenae, Fana Hues, Maxo Kream, Baby Rose, Left Brain, Teezo Touchdown, and a few more. If you caught this article early, find the link to the livestream below. If not, it’ll probably take you to the official full lineup once this stream wraps up. Here’s The Stacked Lineup Of BET Awards 2023 Performers

If there was ever a year to tune into the BET Awards, it’s certainly this one. Moreover, just in case if you’re a reader stumbling onto a hip-hop website, the genre turns 50 years old in 2023, and the awards ceremony is doing a lot to celebrate. Specifically to honor this anniversary and massive milestone, the media organization is bringing together all eras of the genre to celebrate. If you’re looking to tune in, the show will take place on Sunday, June 25 at 8pm eastern time. Furthermore, there’s something for every generation of rap fan at this event.

Let’s break it down, shall we? From the early years (or Golden Era, as it’s affectionately called), we have many pioneers. Big Daddy Kane, Kid ‘N Play, MC Lyte, The Sugarhill Gang, Uncle Luke, Warren G, 69 Boyz, and Yo-Yo will appear. Going deeper into the ’90s and 2000s, stars include Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Master P, Trick Daddy, Trina, DJ Unk, the Ying Yang Twins, E-40, Soulja Boy, the Fast Life Yungstaz (F.L.Y.), and Ja Rule. Finally, there are a few more modern names, namely Chief Keef and Tyga, as part of the 50th anniversary event. If that seems low, it’s because there are more contemporary stars performing already to add to the celebration. In fact, these represent some of this year’s nominees.

2023 BET Awards Performers Revealed

Lil Uzi Vert, GloRilla, Coco Jones, and Doechii will also perform at the BET Awards this year. They received nominations in the fields of Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, and more. Overall, it should not only be a star-studded affair, but a unique and special recognition of all that these genres have given us, specifically hip-hop.

Meanwhile, this celebration will stack up against other tributes to hip-hop turning 50 years old. The one that likely pops up in your mind is the 2023 Grammys celebration hosted by LL Cool J, Black Thought, and Questlove that brought a lot of stars of every era to the forefront of the ceremony. Given how much people loved that, we can’t wait to see what the 2023 BET Awards have in store for audiences. For more news and the latest updates on the show, keep checking in with HNHH.

Cam’ron & Mase To Perform “Special Set” At JAY-Z’s Made In America Festival

Cam’ron and Mase will be reuniting on stage for a “special joint set” at JAY-Z’s Made In America festival, later this year. The festival announced its full star-studded lineup on Wednesday. Other performers include SZA, Lizzo, Miguel, Tems, Metro Booming, Ice Spice, Coi Leray, Latto, Lil Yachty, and more.

The special set won’t be Cam’ron and Mase’s first time on the stage together in recent years after the two made amends last summer. In January, they took to the stage in New York City to perform their hit “Horse & Carriage” for the very first time live nearly 25 years after its release.

They have also been hosting the show, It Is What It Is, for several months now. On the program, they discuss a wide range of topics relating to the major sports. Cam’ron recently explained the decision to bring Mase in for the show during an interview with Good Day New York.

The Made In America Lineup

“Mase got me my first record deal, ever,” he recalled. “So doing this show and creating this show and having him be a part of it, it felt like I’m giving back to him for helping me even be an entertainer. I may not have been where I’m at if [Ma$e] didn’t take me to Biggie Smalls [The Notorious B.I.G.] and get me my first record deal… I wanted to pay him back, and hopefully, this show will do that.” Cam’ron and Mase infamously had a falling out in the 2000s and went on to trade multiple diss tracks about each other. They eventually made amends in 2022.

3-Day GA tickets will be going on sale for fans on April 14 at 10:00 AM, EDT. Information on more ticket options is available on Rolling Loud’s website, here. More artists fans will be able to catch include Lil Durk, Trippie Redd, Ski Mask The Slump God, Key Glock, Nav, Polo G, Lil Tjay, Sheck Wes, Babyface Ray, Young Nudy, Bryson Tiller, Freddie Gibbs, Lucki, Bones, Redveil, Nardo Wick, Pouya, and Don Toliver, among others.

The announcement of Rolling Loud Miami’s lineup comes after the festival organizers confirmed that the event won’t be returning to New York in 2023. They addressed the decision in a statement shared last month. “We saw the beginning of the King Vamp era, Travis power through his full set through the pain, Parti and Uzi reuniting on stage, Nicki, 50 Cent, and A$AP Rocky putting on iconic headlining performances in their hometown, [and] Juice WRLD’s final festival performance,” they wrote. They explained, “Sadly, due to logistical factors beyond our control, Rolling Loud will not return to New York in 2023. But don’t worry, this isn’t Goodbye, more like See you later. We’ll be back in New York when the time is right.”
