The spotlight then turned to the rising stars, including Texas sensation BigXthaPlug, Florida’s own Bossman Dlow, and the genre-blending headliner, Teezo Touchdown.

    Beyoncé Announces New Whiskey Venture With Moët Hennessy, ‘SirDavis’

    Beyoncé Knowles-Carter aka Cowboy Carter, after her recent successful entry into country music just announced the launch of her new whiskey brand, SirDavis.

    See, whiskey is a popular drink in country music culture, so the timing is interesting to say the least. 

    The diva revealed the exciting new venture on the Gram, posting a photo of herself with a glass of the whiskey and showing off the sleek bottle. The bottle itself is adorned with a golden horse emblem. 

    Check this, from her caption, she referenced lyrics from her 2024 song “Bodyguard,” writing, “Davis in my bones,” and included a link to the SirDavis website. Smart marketing, always.

    Okay so the product SirDavis is an American whiskey founded by Beyoncé in collaboration with Moët Hennessy and renowned master distiller Bill Lumsden. 

    Sounds like they are legit with this collab!

    Get this. the whiskey is described on the official website as a blend that marries the complexity of rye with the elegance of malted barley, finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks to create a harmonious balance of spice and subtle fruit notes. Even before its public launch, SirDavis has already earned multiple awards in 2023, establishing itself as an award-winning brand.

    Now the idea for the whiskey’s name, SirDavis, actually honors Beyoncé’s great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, who was a successful moonshiner during Prohibition. 

    Beyoncé dedicated a letter to him on the brand’s website, writing: “I feel you in the landscapes. Your laughter rolling in the rye. What songs did you sing? What gaps did you fill? Great-grandfather, did you dream of me? Your legacy is a force that drives me.” She concludes the letter by raising a glass to his legacy.

    Currently, the SirDavis website also features a selection of specialty cocktails, such as the Honey Bee, Texas Buckin’, Houston, and Davis Old Fashion, complete with recipes for each. 

    Fans and whiskey enthusiasts alike, can preorder a 750ml bottle of SirDavis whiskey for $89.99. Additionally, a SirDavis brand home is set to open in Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston in 2025, offering a unique experience for visitors.

    Sounds like another win for Queen Bey.

    Michael Rubin Says He Made the Call Not to Play Kendrick Lamar Music at Hamptons Party

    Michael Rubin’s white party again took over The Hamptons with entertainment and sports elite. Included among the guests was Drake, making one of his first public appearances in the fall out of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” running the summer.

    The Boy was decked in cream, not white, and delivered a performance alongside Lil Wayne. Making it more comfortable for him, no Kendrick Lamar music was played during the event.

    According to TMZ, the house DJs stayed away from anything from Lamar.

    And now Michael Rubin reveals he made that call. Appearing on The Breakfast Club, Rubin revealed that was his call. “I just didn’t think it was appropriate, so I said, ‘Hey, let’s not play anyone’s music that’s feuding with anyone here,’” Rubin said. “That was a me decision. I just thought it wasn’t the appropriate thing to do.”

    A-list celebrities clad in all-white defined the Fourth of July celebrations at Michael Rubin’s annual White Party. Held in the picturesque Hamptons, the CEO of Fanatics and his partner Camille Fishel hosted one of the most anticipated summer events, attracting a stellar guest list from sports, Hollywood, and social media.

    Adhering to the event’s all-white dress code, guests showcased an array of stylish ensembles. Camila Cabello and Emily Ratajkowski dazzled in drapey mini dresses, while Teyana Taylor opted for a striking white maxi with a gold metallic belt. Winnie Harlow stunned in a beaded cowl-neck minidress with a hood, and Megan Fox chose a preppy eyelet mini. The guest list was strictly who’s who, including Megan Thee Stallion, J. Rubin spared no expense on the catering, bringing in top-notch food from New York’s finest. Nobu served up wagyu beef and truffle salt rolls at a handroll station, Cucina Alba offered summer tomato salads, Lucali featured classic margherita and pepperoni pizzas, and Rao’s provided their famous meatballs. In keeping with the casual vibe, guests enjoyed an informal dining experience, grabbing bites at their leisure.

    Unforgettable Performances

    With Rubin’s connections in the music world, the night’s entertainment was nothing short of spectacular. Shaboozey kicked off the performances with his hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” joking about his tipsiness. R&B legend Mary J. Blige followed, delivering a powerful rendition of “Be Happy,” and Lil Wayne, impressed by Blige’s performance, hyped up the crowd. As the sun set, a stunning display of lights illuminated the sky, setting the stage for more music.

    The festivities continued well into the night. After a dazzling fireworks display, the event transformed into a high-energy dance party.     We had the pleasure of sitting down with Yesenia Ramdass, the visionary behind Healthy As a Motha, to delve deeper into her journey, the inspiration behind her restaurant, and her passion for holistic health.

    The Source: Yesenia, Health As a Motha is truly a one-of-a-kind restaurant. What inspired you to create a plant-based restaurant that fuses Dominican and Trinidadian flavors?

    Yesenia Ramdass: The inspiration came from my own cultural heritage and health journey. Growing up, I was surrounded by the vibrant flavors of Dominican and Trinidadian cuisine, but I also saw firsthand how our traditional diets could be healthier. After losing my mother to stage IV kidney cancer, I became even more passionate about holistic nutrition and the importance of what we put into our bodies. I wanted to create a space where people could enjoy the rich flavors of our culture without compromising their health.

    The Source: It’s clear that H.A.A.M. is more than just a restaurant—it’s a lifestyle brand. Can you tell us more about the philosophy behind Healthy As a Motha?

    Yesenia Ramdass: Absolutely. Healthy As a Motha is all about overcoming the challenges of transitioning to a healthier lifestyle. It’s about making conscious choices that benefit not just our bodies, but our minds and souls as well. The brand represents a holistic approach to health—understanding that what we eat is just one part of the equation. It’s about nourishing the mind with positive thoughts and the soul with good energy. Our restaurant embodies this philosophy by offering dishes that are not only delicious but also align with the values of sustainability, ethics, and wellness.

    The Source: You’ve mentioned that you became a vegetarian at the age of 17 after reading “Skinny Bitch.” How did that book influence your journey toward plant-based living?

    Yesenia Ramdass: That book was a game-changer for me. It opened my eyes to the harsh realities of the food industry, especially when it comes to animal products. The information was so powerful that I couldn’t unlearn it. It wasn’t just about becoming a vegetarian; it was about making informed choices that align with my values. From there, my journey into holistic health deepened, and I eventually transitioned to a fully plant-based lifestyle.

    The Source: Losing a loved one to cancer is incredibly difficult. How did your mother’s battle with cancer shape your approach to health and wellness?

    Yesenia Ramdass: Losing my mother was one of the hardest experiences of my life. It made me realize how crucial our health is and how much it can be influenced by our lifestyle choices. Watching her struggle motivated me to dive deeper into holistic nutrition and explore alternative options that aren’t always readily available. It became my mission to share what I’ve learned with others, hoping to make a difference in their lives. Health is everything—without it, nothing else matters.

    The Source: Your menu at H.A.A.M. offers a delightful fusion of island flavors. What are some of your favorite dishes, and how do they reflect your cultural heritage?

    Yesenia Ramdass: Some of my favorite dishes include the Jerk Tamarind Oyster Mushroom Burger and the Empanadas Trio. These dishes are a perfect representation of the fusion we aim for—combining traditional island flavors with plant-based ingredients to create something both familiar and new. The Bake and Shark is another favorite, offering a plant-based twist on a Trinidadian classic. Each dish is crafted with love and respect for our cultural roots, while also embracing the health benefits of plant-based eating.

    The Source: What message do you hope to convey to your customers and the broader community through your restaurant and lifestyle brand?

    Yesenia Ramdass: I want people to understand that transitioning to a healthier lifestyle doesn’t have to be daunting. It’s about making small, conscious choices every day that add up to big changes over time.     Yesenia Ramdass: We’re always looking to expand our reach and impact. We’re exploring the possibility of opening more locations and even launching a line of plant-based products inspired by our menu. Our goal is to continue bridging cultures through clean, plant-based cuisine and to keep spreading the message of health and wellness far and wide.

    Fresh off the announcement of her starring role in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming show ‘All’s Fair,’ singer and actress Teyana Taylor took a well-deserved break at The Cove at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Accompanied by a large group, including her daughters, 8-year-old Junie and 3-year-old Rue, Taylor made the most of her tropical getaway.

    Taylor and her entourage were spotted exploring Atlantis’ Marina Village, where she indulged in some retail therapy with purchases from the resort’s Barbie Bahamas Beach Vacation collaboration. The shopping spree continued at Crystal Court’s Balenciaga, where Taylor shut down the store for a private session.

    The family enjoyed the resort’s various attractions, including the pools and thrilling waterslides at Aquaventure. Their dining experiences were equally impressive, with meals at Nobu’s private Sake Room and Seafire Steakhouse.

    Throughout her stay, Taylor expressed her admiration for the Bahamas and Atlantis Paradise Island. Overheard sharing her excitement, she mentioned she couldn’t wait to return to the iconic destination, reflecting the enjoyment and relaxation she found during her vacation.

    Larsa Pippen Goes in On Marcus Jordan Believing He “Lied” About Alleged Drug Use When They Were an Item

    Well, well, looks like Larsa Pippen’s untimely breakup with Marcus Jordan reportedly came from his “nonstop wild partying” and drug use. Whoop. Basically, according to a source close to her and reported by Marca, Pippen ultimately ended the relationship due to Jordan’s hidden lifestyle and daily lies about using drugs. Yikes. What’s wild still is Pippen … Jordan, in the same sentence but it’s not about Scottie and MJ. Sorry, we had to point that out. 

    “She can’t waste her energy on anyone who takes drugs,” the source told the outlet. “He’s been hiding this lifestyle for a while and used to lie to her about it every day.” The insider added that Pippen stopped taking calls from Jordan when his behavior became too erratic to handle.

    This all came to light after a few viral photos of Jordan appearing to snort somethin’ white, at an outdoor table in France. Internet sleuths have not been able to confirm the substance, but his lady friend, Ashley Stevenson, was seen giggling beside him in the photos. How quick some of these people just move on is always fascinating. 

    After the images broke the interwebs, Stevenson reportedly began to distance herself from Jordan. “I’m single…Marcus and I are NOT dating and haven’t been,” Stevenson posted on Instagram in response to the photos. Quick fast reaction.

    Get this, Pippen and Jordan, went public as a couple on Instagram, first broke up in February after a year together. Rough. They briefly reconciled on Valentine’s Day but parted ways again in March.

    After the abrupt split, Pippen popped up on the Amy And T.J. show, discussing her ex and confirming that she was “single and ready to mingle.” She explained that they were on “different journeys,” saying, “I feel like I have to be true to who I am. What I’m doing and what he’s doing, you know? I want him to be happy. He’s a great guy, but I just don’t feel like it’s for me.”
