Chrisean Rock Reportedly Faces Eight Years In Prison For Drug Charges

Chrisean Rock is currently wrapped up in some serious legal trouble, and it may not come to an end any time soon. The new mother was arrested in June of this year upon entering a San Fernando Valley courtroom. Reportedly, she had a warrant for alleged assault with a deadly weapon. She was there to support Blueface, who’s also currently behind bars. Authorities escorted her off the premises, and she was later sentenced to 30 days in a California jail.

It’s speculated that the warrant stemmed from her run-in with James Wright Chanel at a Tamar Braxton concert last year, though this is unconfirmed. He pressed charges against her in February for allegedly punching him in the face. After her 30-day stay, Chrisean was set to be extradited to Oklahoma, where she’s facing charges for “possession of marijuana with intent to distribute” and “possession of a controlled dangerous substance.”

According to court documents, each of these charges carries a four-year sentence or eight years combined. Of course, it’s to be seen what actually plays out in the Baddies star’s case, but fans are concerned nonetheless. A lot of this concern has to do with Chrisean’s son Chrisean Jr, who’s just under a year old. On top of his mother’s legal issues, his father Blueface has been in jail since January for an alleged probation violation.

He was scheduled to attend a sentencing hearing late last month, but it was pushed back to August 6. Blueface’s mother Karlissa Saffold is confident that he’ll be getting out and even has a party planned to celebrate his return home. Unfortunately, however, his fate is also to be seen. What do you think of Chrisean Rock potentially facing serious time behind bars for her drug charges? Are you worried for her? ASAP Rocky Gets New Assault Trial Date After Judge Rejects Motion To Dismiss

As ASAP Rocky fans eagerly anticipate his new album Don’t Be Dumb, which drops on August 30, the hitmaker has a lot on his plate. Aside from readying the long-awaited project, he’s also currently wrapped up in some legal drama. Rocky is accused of shooting in his former childhood friend and collaborator ASAP Relli’s direction back in 2021, and grazing his hand. He pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree assault involving a semi-automatic firearm in January.

Yesterday, legal reporter Meghann Cuniff spoke with ASAP Rocky’s lawyer Joe Tacopina outside of the courtroom, after a judge rejected the defense’s motion to dismiss the case. According to Tacopina, they’re ready to go to trial, and Rocky is looking forward to finally getting back to what matters most to him. His trial is scheduled to begin later this year.

ASAP Rocky’s Trial Begins On November 12, 2024

“We understood the likelihood of success on this motion was slim at this stage,” Tacopina explained. “We’ve always been preparing for trial… So we’ll be ready for that moment.” Rocky’s attorney also went on to confirm that his trial is now set to begin on November 12, just a few weeks after it was originally scheduled. “Rocky and his family are very eager to get this thing to trial,” he added. “He’s doing great.”

Tacopina also says that Rocky is focused on his children and career at the moment, which makes sense considering his looming release date. Earlier this week, he chatted about the album with Zane Lowe for New Music Daily. He confirmed that no tracks that have leaked will appear on the LP. “I might perform [them] here and there,” he said. “But if it’s leaked, it is what it is.” What do you think of ASAP Rocky’s dismissal motion getting rejected by a judge? Karlissa Saffold Puts Chrisean Rock’s Mother On Blast Before Blueface’s Court Hearing

Blueface and Chrisean Rock are both currently behind bars, but luckily for the “Thotiana” rapper, he may be getting out sooner rather than later. He has a court hearing scheduled for tomorrow (July 29), and fans are hopeful that he’ll be released. While this is not guaranteed, his mother Karlissa Saffold is in the process of preparing for his arrival home. Recently, she took to Instagram Live, revealing that there will be a camera crew in the courtroom and asking fans for their prayers.

While it’s possible that Blueface will get good news at his hearing, the same can’t be said for Chrisean. It was previously reported that she would be extradited to Oklahoma after a 30-day jail stay in California. The Baddies star was arrested back in June while supporting Blueface in court. It was later revealed that she had a warrant for alleged assault with a deadly weapon without a firearm, and is facing marijuana possession charges in Oklahoma.

Karlissa Saffold Is Ready For Blueface’s Court Hearing

According to Saffold, however, Chrisean may not be getting the support she needs. During another live chat with fans, the Aunt-Tea Podcast host called out Chrisean’s mother Charla Malone, claiming that she’s been planting seeds of doubt in her daughter’s mind and accusing people of snitching. “Don’t send y’all kids out on a wild goose chase looking for people,” she said. “Making them feel like people turned them in or told on them.”

“If you want to use her for clout, she’s your child, do what the f*ck you do,” Saffold continued. “But don’t put your child in a position in their heart and in their mind where they can’t trust people that they might need.” What do you think of Karlissa Saffold criticizing Chrisean Rock’s mother? HoneyKomb Brazy Accepts Plea Deal In Federal Gun Case

In December of 2023, HoneyKomb Brazy and two associates were pulled over by police in Alabama, and soon after charged with possession of a firearm. Reportedly, upon searching the vehicle, officers found a Girson MC28 SA 9mm pistol and a Smith and Wesson MP 15 AR pistol. One of the rapper’s associates, bodyguard Miguel Hall, pleaded guilty to the federal gun charge in May of this year. At the time, Brazy appeared ready to go to trial to fight the case.

Now, according to new legal documents obtained by XXL, HoneyKomb Brazy has pleaded guilty as well. Reportedly, this is part of a plea deal that also saw both the defense and prosecutors recommend a sentence of between two-and-a-half and three-and-a-half years behind bars. He’s scheduled to appear in court on October 25, where Judge Kristi DuBose will hand him his sentence.

HoneyKomb Brazy Pleads Guilty To Gun Charge

As for Hall, he’s scheduled to learn his fate in September. He could be facing up to 15 years in prison. Reportedly, he was previously prohibited from owning a firearm due to a past protection from abuse order. Aside from a hefty prison sentence, Hall could also be looking at a $250K fine and three years of supervised release. Per his plea deal, the prosecution will not bring any additional charges against him and will recommend a shorter sentence.

The news comes after it was revealed last January that authorities had been monitoring Brazy on social media. This was due to the fact that he was a “subject of multiple investigations for years.” Reportedly, Special Agent Evan Fisher found out where Brazy was the night of his arrest based on his posts, though he didn’t specify why he was a person of interest. Chris Brown & Yella Beezy Hit With Another Lawsuit Over Alleged Backstage Beatdown

So far, Chris Brown’s “11:11” tour has been a major success, with several sold-out shows, explosive performances, and more. Unfortunately, however, things recently got heated backstage in Fort Worth. Allegedly, the hitmaker had invited four men to enjoy his famous VIP experience. Upon arriving, things took a turn for the worse, when members of Brown’s crew allegedly brought up some old beef.

Allegedly, Brown then ordered several members of his crew to beat them up, including Yella Beezy. Brown, Yella Beezy, Sinko Ceej, and Live Nation were hit with a lawsuit from the men earlier this week as a result. They’re accused of assault, and the alleged victims are seeking a staggering $50 million. Brown’s legal troubles don’t stop there though, as today, he was reportedly hit with yet another lawsuit.

According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, one man who worked security at the event is now suing Brown and Yella Beezy. Allegedly, Frederick R. Overpeck was badly injured while trying to break up the scuffle and sustained a cracked vertebrae as well as severe hip damage. His lawsuit seems to back up the claims made by the men in the previous suit. He recalls allegedly hearing Brown tell his entourage to “f*ck them up,” and compares the alleged incident to a “prison yard beat down.”

Overpeck also recalls allegedly seeing a large member of Brown’s crew attacking one of the men. He alleges that when he stepped in, he was kicked and punched. He describes himself as a 58-year-old father with two jobs, and claims he didn’t even know who Brown was, but was simply trying to do what he was paid for. He’s reportedly seeking at least $15 million in damages. What do you think of Chris Brown getting hit with another lawsuit over his alleged backstage brawl? Blueface’s Mom Karlissa Saffold Plans Welcome Home Party Ahead Of Court Hearing

Blueface has certainly dealt with no shortage of legal drama as of late, but reportedly, that could all come to an end soon. The rapper is currently behind bars in California for an alleged probation violation and has a hearing scheduled for July 29. While there are no guarantees, fans hope that this will mark the end of his stay. Evidently, so does his mother Karlissa Saffold.

Saffold recently chatted with TMZ about her son’s legal woes, revealing that she already has a “surprise return home party” in the works. According to her, she’s planning to host it the day after Blueface’s hearing, if it goes as she expects. After all, he did just recently receive his sentence for his case in Vegas. He won’t serve additional time for that as long as he complies with the conditions of his probation.

Lil Reese Was Arrested In LA, Boosie Badazz Claims

Boosie Badazz is currently celebrating his latest legal victory, getting his federal gun charge dismissed. Fans first heard of the exciting development last week, when he got emotional on Instagram while sharing his hopes for the future. Unfortunately, however, not all of his peers appear to have had the same luck as of late. Recently, Boosie took to social media once again, this time to announce that Lil Reese was allegedly arrested.

In a clip, the Louisiana-born performer says that he’s at a hotel in downtown LA, and claims he just witnessed authorities take Lil Reese to jail. “He came out handcuffed, they had all his bags,” he explained. Boosie went on to urge the performer’s people to look into the situation, whether that means bailing the Chicago rapper out, or simply making sure he’s doing okay.

Lil Reese Reportedly Runs Into Trouble On The West Coast

At the time of writing, it remains unclear why he was reportedly taken into custody. In the clip, however, Boosie says that a man had come downstairs suggesting that a woman could have “lied on him.” This is unconfirmed, though hopefully, fans will hear more about the alleged arrest sooner rather than later. Lil Reese’s latest reported legal trouble is far from the first the 31-year-old has encountered, however.

In January of last year, he was released from prison after serving seven months for allegedly assaulting a family member. Before that, he was arrested in Chicago on domestic violence charges in 2022. At the time, authorities were reportedly called to the scene to find a woman presumed to be Lil Reese’s girlfriend, who accused him of pulling her hair and punching her in the face. He was arrested immediately and later released after posting a $10K bond. What do you think of Boosie Badazz claiming that Lil Reese was arrested in LA? Travis Scott’s Miami Arrest Was The Result Of Forgotten Items, Sources Claim

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Travis Scott was arrested in Miami for alleged disorderly intoxication and trespassing. At first, the circumstances leading up to the performer’s arrest were unclear, but it was later reported that it all started with a minor disagreement on a yacht. He was taken into custody after police asked him to leave the scene, but he allegedly returned anyway.

Now, sources who recently chatted with TMZ explained why he found it necessary to circle back. According to them, he had left some of his most crucial belongings behind, including his bag and his phone. When he went back to get them, he reportedly requested a police escort back on the yacht. He had already been warned to stay away, however, resulting in his arrest.

While this is certainly unfortunate for the hitmaker, it doesn’t appear to have gotten him down too much. Only hours after his arrest, he was released, and he got straight on a jet back to LA. He even released new merch featuring his mugshot the same day. His legal rep Bradford Cohen later issued a statement, clarifying that the argument never escalated to the point of violence. “Mr. Scott was briefly detained due to a misunderstanding,” Cohen explained. “There was absolutely no physical altercation involved, and we thank the authorities for working with us towards a swift and amicable resolution.”
