LeBron James Sets Sights On NBA Title

LeBron James knows what it takes to win an NBA Championship. The four-time NBA Champion is starting to notice his Los Angeles Lakers are coming together. On Sunday, the Lakers defeated a lowly Rockets team 134-109. With the win, The Lakers now sit one game outside of the Western Conference sixth seed. Which is a huge opportunity to avoid the play-in tournament. However, a sixth-seed berth would have the Lakers playing the Sacramento Kings in the first round.

With the bottom of the Western Conference being a tight race, losing is not an option. As the final week of the regular season is here, the Lakers know what is at stake. Looking ahead to see a potential playoff opponent is irrelevant if you’re not in the playoffs. James’ teammate Anthony Davis also understands this. Davis had a monster performance on Sunday. The former number-one overall pick dropped 40 points in the Lakers’ dominating victory over the Rockets. Davis’ performance was exactly what LeBron was hoping to see.

LeBron James Has Eyes On Fifth Ring

When healthy, Davis and James can rival any other duo in the league. The only problem this season is they both can’t seem to stay healthy. LeBron knows the potential of the duo and understands the stakes at hand. After Sunday’s game, LeBron spoke with the media about what Davis’s performance means for the future of the team. “We want to be on the floor together and make magic…He’s definitely making magic right now for sure,” James stated. The Lakers have all those tools to be a tough matchup for anyone in the Western Conference.

No one seems to be counting out what the Lakers can do in the post-season. Seemingly for good reason. James is one of the greatest players to ever step on an NBA court. Davis isn’t too shabby himself. The pair have won an NBA Championship together already, during the 2020 season. They know that it can be done. However, the road to get there isn’t the road most travel to winning a title. Can the Lakers win their second title in the LeBron era? Sound off in the comment section below on your thoughts on a Lakers championship. For more on the latest news inside the NBA, stay right here at HNHH.

LeBron James Finds Support In Twitter Checkmark Strike

LeBron James isn’t the only star not interested in Twitter Blue. Earlier today, James tweeted that he will not be subscribing to the Twitter Blue service. Meaning that James will no longer have a verified account on the social platform. Many are taking James’ lead on the matter and declining the subscription. Now it seems that James may have some support in his strike against Twitter Blue. That support comes in the form of a few stars from the NFL world.

Patrick Mahomes, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Tyreek Hill all voiced their support for James in a few funny tweets. The reigning Super Bowl champion wanted to know when Twitter was taking away the certification checkmarks. That’s when Valdes-Scantling quote tweeted Mahomes pleading for his followers to jokingly pay for Mahomes’ subscription. Mahomes hilariously answered back that he can’t afford the service due to his kids. Then, Tyreek Hill said that Twitter can keep its checkmark if the service is $8. Check out the string of Tweets below.

LeBron James Has Started The Twitter Checkmark Strike Revolution

Athletes seem to be having a little fun with Elon Musk’s new idea for the social platform. A subscription-based service for a free social site does seem a little much. The start of Twitter Blue doesn’t look to be going strong, with top celebrities not buying in. The age of misinformation is bound to only grow with official accounts no longer being a sure thing. Sports media channels have already fallen for fake tweets by certified accounts that appear to be trolls.

James was the first big name to disapprove of the move. Now, it seems that other big names will be following suit. Twitter has long been a place for free communication with those you may not see on a daily basis. Lately, it has been more of a troll-infested negative wasteland. What will it mean for Twitter with celebrities not being verified? Will people be looking for a new place to virtually hang out? Let us know your thoughts on Twitter Blue in the comment section below. As always, stay with us here at HNHH for the latest news in the world of sports.

LeBron James Refuses To Pay For His Twitter Checkmark

LeBron James is the latest celebrity to speak on the news of paying for a Twitter checkmark. Since taking over Twitter, Elon Musk has made the decision to charge users to become an official account. While most have been disappointed in the decision. Some have accepted the idea and are paying to make their account official. Evidently, James isn’t one of those people. The Los Angeles Lakers star let his Twitter followers know his intention on the new stipulation.

Like most of Twitter, James will not purchase his blue checkmark. The cost to make your account official is $5 a month. What may seem like a small amount for someone like James, the purchase does seem strange. The draw of social media has always been a place to communicate for free. Twitter, along with the Metaverse, is soon making that a thing of the past. Starting on April 1st, anyone who doesn’t pay for their official checkmark will lose the checkmark symbol.

LeBron James Not Worried About Twitter Account Being Official

After tomorrow, finding your favorite official accounts will soon become a challenge. The era of bots and burner accounts has already seen a rise. Certainly, now Twitter users will see even more of those fake accounts. Twitter seemed to be a well-functioning site before Musk’s $44 billion purchase. Now, the changes seem to have only frustrated users who weren’t even disappointed before. With more big stars like James following his lead, Twitter could soon become an issue for misinformation.

Twitter has been a great place to find news and communicate with those we normally wouldn’t. A big reason many users are on the site is to follow their favorite stars. While yes, they can still follow, without the official checkmark, fans may have a hard time trusting what is said. What are your thoughts on the new Twitter subscription? Is paying to make your account official ridiculous? Will top accounts look elsewhere in the social media realm? Let us know if you will be paying for a Twitter Blue subscription in the comment section below. For the latest news involving the NBA and its stars, stay locked in here at HNHH.

Isiah Thomas Believes This Team Should Scare The NBA

Isiah Thomas knows what it takes to win an NBA title. The former Detroit Pistons guard has two rings of his own. Thomas has recently been in the spotlight with his comments on Michael Jordan. As well as his thoughts on the current game. When asked who could be the most dangerous team in the playoffs this season, Thomas didn’t hesitate. The Basketball Hall-of-Famer believes that the old guard could be the most dangerous squad. Look out for LeBron James and the Los Angles Lakers.

Thomas appeared on NBA on TNT and announced his thoughts on the Lakers. Isiah stated, “A month ago, we had the Lakers dead… and now they’re 8th. I forget who said nobody fears LeBron. Them 7 teams, 1 through 7, there’s not one team that’s saying ‘I want to play LeBron and the Lakers in the first round.’” While no one should ever count out LeBron, the choice comes as a surprise. The Lakers will have a tough potential road to the NBA Finals.

Isiah Thomas Believes In The Lakers

Barring a catastrophe, the Lakers will be one of the four teams in the play-in tournament. However, the play-in tournament will be no easy out. As it stands currently, the four teams in the play-in are only separated by one game. A potential meeting between the Lakers and Pelicans would be an NBA fan’s dream. The play-in tournament is set to begin on April 11th and run until the 14th. Both the Eastern and Western Conferences will participate.

Isiah Thomas may not be off base with his Lakers prediction. Maybe Thomas has seen what happened in March Madness and believes that anyone can bring home the crown. If the Lakers were to win the Finals, it would be among one of the most impressive feats of all time. Do you think Thomas’ prediction can become a reality? Are the Lakers a serious threat to the championship? If not the Lakers, then who will be holding the trophy in the end? Drop your predictions in the comment section below. Cam’ron Is Confident He Could Beat Mario Chalmers 1-On-1

If you have been watching It Is What It Is with Cam’ron and Ma$e, you know that the show is pure comedy. Although they may not be the journalists you are used to seeing on TV, they definitely know how to make an audience laugh. Their sports commentary is extremely honest. Overall, one could say their perspective is that of the average fan. This is definitely a good thing, especially when you consider how shows on ESPN and Fox are just a bit too polished. Some of those talk shows are inaccessible, while It Is What It Is can be a whole lot more fun.

Cam’ron and Ma$e will talk about anything on their new show. Recently, they got to speak on the situation between LeBron James and Mario Chalmers. The latter recently said that LeBron was never feared by those who played him. Consequently, there has been a whole new discourse about LeBron and his impact on the game. This sparked a conversation on It Is What It Is, which led to a pretty incredible claim from Cam’ron.

Cam’ron Is Pure Comedy

Firstly, he believes that Chalmers is simply made because LeBron may have slighted him somehow. This is a take that Ma$e agreed with. However, Cam did not stop there as he made the declaration that he could beat Chalmers 1-on-1. “I’ll tell you one thing, Mario, ain’t nobody scared to play against your ass,” Cam’ron said. “I’ll play you tonight, n-gga. Suit up, n-gga. I’ll play you tonight.” Subsequently, Ma$e asked if he would wager anything on this. Cam wasn quick to respond, saying “10-day workout, whatever you want to bet we can put the house on it. I need 10 days though. Absolutely… I could beat Chalmers.”

One might call this claim ridiculous. However, Cam’ron is a pretty good basketball player and Chalmers hasn’t been near the league in some time. That said, we’re sure Chalmers would welcome a challenge from someone who never played in the NBA. Let us know what you thought about Cam’s hot take, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the sports world. We will always seek to keep you informed.

LeBron Pokes Fun At Teammate Liking Kobe More Than Him

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have been a happy team recently. The team is still in a fight for playoff positioning. Nevertheless, the team is finally healthy and seem to be having fun. For LeBron, he has been down this road before. In his early Cleveland days, every game was a fight. Now, with injuries, getting the Lakers to the finish line has been a daunting task. LeBron isn’t the youngest man on the team anymore. Even some of his teammates have let him know that.

Austin Reaves has become a diamond in the rough for the Lakers down the stretch. The second-year guard is having a career year. Reaves’ teammates have continued to glow when speaking about his performances. Reaves has been the fuse to light this Lakers’ run down the stretch. For Reaves, he has always been a fan of the Lakers. Even if it is at the expense of his fellow Laker, LeBron James. James let the media know where Reaves’ childhood fandom lay.

LeBron James Has Fun With Austin Reaves Over Childhood Fandom

LeBron’s comments were made after speaking on Reaves having his back. Patrick Beverley took a shot at LeBron a few nights ago with the too-small sign. Two days later, Reaves gave it right back to Beverley, and LeBron took notice. LeBron joked that Reaves has his back. Even if he was a Kobe fan growing up. James teased that he has forgiven Reaves for his childhood fandom, though. The Lakers avenged their earlier loss to the Bulls and now sit in the eighth position in the West.

If you grew up in the 2000s, the talk was always Kobe and LeBron. You couldn’t like both and had to pick a side. Now, we should be able to celebrate the greatness in both. However, you still may run into a diehard Kobe or LeBron stan. So, I guess the question is, what side were you on? Were you team Kobe? Or were you team LeBron? Please sound off in our comment section below to make your voice heard. For the latest news on the NBA and the playoff race, stay locked into HNHH.

Lavar Ball Has Some Advice For Bronny James Jr.

Bronny James Jr.’s every movement is being dissected second by second. The eldest son of LeBron James has a lot of important decisions to make in the coming months. The high school senior will decide where to take his talents on the hardwood. As colleges will be lining up to have just a moment with James Jr., Lavar Ball has other advice. Ball, who has seen all three of his children play in the NBA in some capacity, gave James Jr. some interesting advice on his future.

The Ball father did an interview recently with Sporting News Australia, where he mentioned James Jr. should seek options outside of college. Ball advised that Bronny should look at the NBL as a real option for his future. Comparatively, the National Basketball League is where Lavar’s son LaMelo decided to take his talents before the NBA. It’s not terrible advice for someone whose spotlight will be much larger than the average college athlete.

Lavar Ball’s Suggestion To Bronny James Jr.

James would be allowed to solely focus on basketball if he chose the NBL. As Ball stated in his interview, “You wanna play basketball, and you really that dude, why am I sitting in class trying to pass a chemistry test?” Ball has a point with that statement. Most Top 50 recruits aren’t going to college to further their education. The dream is to make it to the league, and college is more focused on a plethora of opportunities. It’s no secret that Bronny’s NIL worth is one of the largest for a future college prospect. The options are limitless for the 18-year-old.

The decision may seem simple from the outside looking in. However, Bronny James has a difficult road ahead of him. Yes, the money sounds nice, but the pressure will be enough to break most. James has the opportunity of a lifetime in front of him no matter what he chooses. Except, only one decision will be the perfect choice for him and his family. So, which decision will be the right decision? Let us know your thoughts on what James should do with his future in the comments section below. For more news on Bronny James, stay glued to HNHH.

Shannon Sharpe Praises Bronny James Jr.’s Recent Performance

It’s no secret that Shannon Sharpe is a supporter of LeBron James. Whether Sharpe is attempting to fight an NBA team. Or singing James’ praises on UNDISPUTED. No one hits the LeBron drum louder than Sharpe. Now it seems Sharpe’s support is going to another member of the James family. Bronny James was in the national spotlight last night and did not disappoint. Sharpe was the first to tell the world his thoughts on the performance.

On Tuesday, Bronny James participated in the McDonald’s All-American Game. James was more than just a participant in the All-Star game. Bronny showed off his shot-making abilities, going 5-8 from three. He finished the game with 15 points and gained a massive fan in Sharpe. Sharpe stated on UNDISPUTED that “Bronny James showed he belongs amongst the best. He can play and shoot at an elite level.”

Bronny James Shines In All-American Game

Sharpe’s comments about James belonging aren’t that far-fetched. In a league that is dominated by perimeter shooting, Bronny proved that he is capable of being an outside threat. Maybe he is even a better perimeter shooter than his old man. Whatever the case, Bronny will be scrutinized for every performance he has due to being who he is. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. According to 24/7 Sports, Bronny is the only Top-50 recruit yet to make his college decision. James is the 33rd-ranked prospect and is now a five-star recruit. Any team that gets James will be getting a great player and massive pressure brought to the program. The pressure is something Bronny is already expecting.

Bronny’s performance in the McDonald’s All-American Game definitely lit the flame for his hype train. His father has been the most scrutinized athlete of a generation. Bronny will also live under the same microscope. While it’s not expected for Bronny to be LeBron, the James legacy is in good hands. What are your thoughts on Bronny’s performance?
