Rich Paul Goes In On The GOAT Debate

Rich Paul is an off-the-court name that has taken the NBA by storm. Paul is an agent and founder of the popular Klutch Sports Group. Paul’s clientele is at the top of the top in the sports world. Including one of those top athletes being, LeBron James. Paul has long been the agent of James. Which could make him a little biased when discussing the best players to ever play in the NBA. However, Paul’s recent comments on the GOAT debate speak to a larger picture.

“You see all these guys on TV every day, and it’s about the rings. If it’s about the rings then it should be Bill Russell… LeBron’s been to the finals half of his career. That’s pretty hard to do.” Paul’s statement rings true for many inside the media. Recently, Kendrick Perkins discussed what a second championship would mean to the legacy of Giannis. However, as Paul mentioned, it shouldn’t be all about championships. But if it is, Bill Russell should be on top of the mountain. Check out the video of Paul’s comments below.

Rich Paul Believes The GOAT Debate Is More Than Rings

The greatest of all time debate always brings out the fire in people. Fans believe their guy is the GOAT, and there’s no changing their opinion. However, Paul makes a good point in the many discussions involving the moving of the goalposts. Many players in the league’s history have done incredible things. From Russell to Magic and Bird, to MJ, Kobe, and LeBron. All of those players deserve their roses. Breaking down who is the best from only one stat is a ridiculous task.

These players deserve more respect than breaking down their careers into one category. The story of the NBA can’t be told without any of the names previously mentioned. Which seemed like the point Paul was trying to make. However, mentioning the number of times James has appeared in the Finals did show the way Paul may lean in the debate. So, let’s get the GOAT debate fired up one more time. Do you agree with Rich Paul that there’s more to the debate than just championships? Who do you think is the greatest NBA player of all time? James didn’t let the passion of the fan base go unnoticed. In James’ latest Instagram post, the Lakers star mentioned the amazing atmosphere during Tuesday’s game. However, the team will first need to get by the second seed of the Western Conference, the Memphis Grizzlies. Check out James’ latest Instagram post below.

LeBron James Willing Lakers Playoff Push

The Lakers had an atrocious beginning to the season. Along with injuries to James and Anthony Davis, it seemed that the playoffs would only be a dream. However, the team got healthy. Then they began playing as one unit. Now, they find themselves with the opportunity to prove a lot of doubters wrong. But the struggles during the regular season didn’t do them any favors with their playoff matchup. If the Lakers were to get by the Grizzlies, they would meet the winner of the Kings-Warriors series. Which would be another difficult change for any team. Not just the Lakers.

Step one is complete for James and the Lakers. The win on Tuesday means the team can have some rest before their first-round matchup. The eighth seed in the Western Conference will be decided on Friday between the Timberwolves and Oklahoma City Thunder. After that, the playoffs will officially be underway. So, what side are you on? Do you believe that LeBron James can defy the odds and bring Los Angeles another championship? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section. NBA Announces Top 10 Best-Selling Jerseys

The NBA recently dropped the top 10 best-selling jerseys of the season. A lot of names you would expect made the list. While some may surprise you. The rankings are as follows: 10 – Kyrie Irving, 9 – Damian Lillard, 8 – Ja Moranr, 7 – Devin Booker, 6 – Kevin Durant, 5 – Luka Doncic, 4 – Giannis Antetokounmpo, 3 – Jayson Tatum, 2 – Steph Curry, 1 – LeBron James. “The King” once again remains supreme at the top of the list. LeBron has long been a member of the top 10 best-selling jerseys.

The top two spots still belong to the old guard, with Curry taking second. However, there is a lot of new blood in the top 10. Tatum, Luka, and Giannis are still the future of the league. All three are the leaders of their respective franchises. While Giannis has become a legend during his time with the Milwaukee Bucks. Tatum and Doncic are still building their legacies in Boston and Dallas. A complete list of the top 15 best-selling jerseys can be seen below.

LeBron Takes The Throne Of The Best Selling NBA Jerseys

Maybe the biggest surprise is seeing Jordan Poole make the top 15. Poole has been a pleasant surprise for the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors will be trying to defend their championship this season. The maturation and growth of Poole gives the team a fighting chance. Two superstars that surprisingly missed the top 10 would be Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid. Jokic is a back-to-back MVP winner, with Embiid looking like the favorite for the award this season. However, the two haven’t found post-season success. Maybe this season will change that for both MVP candidates.

NBA jerseys are some of the top jerseys sold in all of sports. Having the best players’ jerseys has always been a top priority with fans. Even collecting jerseys and not wearing them has become a popular trend. Whatever the case may be, it seems fans still want a piece of the James legacy. LeBron James Responds To Comments Made By Dillon Brooks

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers punched their ticket to the NBA Playoffs on Tuesday night. The Lakers defeated a hungry Minnesota Timberwolves team to earn the seventh seed. Now the Lakers will face a young and talented Memphis Grizzlies team that owns the two seed. Earlier this week, Grizzlies star Dillon Brooks commented on the potential of his team playing the Lakers. Brooks didn’t hold back his thoughts. That it would be great to be the team to eliminate LeBron and the Lakers.

LeBron was made aware of those comments after Tuesday’s play-in tournament victory. James’ response was short and to the point. “Dillon Brooks…you can’t disrespect him because he makes shots.” Brooks isn’t well known for his shooting performances. So one may be able to add the math here, LeBron is already looking forward to the matchup with the Grizzlies. Memphis has had a memorable season. Including events that transpired off the court. But now the focus will be on taking down the Lakers.

LeBron James’ Subtle Shot At Dillon Brooks

Brooks is shooting 39% from the field this season. While also averaging 32% from three and just 71% from the free throw line. Maybe this is just James’ way of trying to bait the Grizzlies forward into shooting more. Whatever the case may be, the Lakers will be in an uphill battle for the entire series. The Grizzlies are younger and looking to prove they belong as one of the best teams in the league. However, both teams will be dealing with injuries ahead of their round-one matchup.

LeBron James has been down this road before. He has faced tough opponents in every journey toward his four NBA championships. But it feels like the deck is stacked against the future NBA Hall-of-Famer. Although that hasn’t stopped a few people from believing in a deep Lakers playoff run. Does LeBron have a real chance at claiming his fifth championship? Or will the Grizzlies be the death of “The King’s” 2023 season? Give us your thoughts on the matchup in the comment section. Anthony Davis Interrupts LeBron Interview With Hilarious Apology

The Lakers advance to the playoffs following a 108-102 overtime win against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA Play-In tournament. In a strong team performance, the Lakers rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit. LeBron and Anthony Davis led the way with a pair of double-doubles. LeBron dropped 30 points and 10 rebounds while AD scored 24 and cleaned the glass with 15 rebounds. Together, the pair accounted for 50% of the Lakers’ points and 52% of their rebounds. However, the Lakers also relied on a great game from bench point guard Dennis Schroeder. Schroeder put up 21 points and four rebounds in 33 minutes of action.

Despite his standout numbers, it was also a mistake from Davis that forced the game into overtime. With 0.1 seconds on the clock, and the Lakers defending a three-point lead, Davis fouled Minnesota’s Mike Conley. Conley had been attempting a game-tying three but instead sent the game to overtime with a trio of free throws. It was one of three fouls AD picked up during the game. While the Lakers dominated the extra period, it was additional minutes they would have rather not played.

AD Finds LeBron To Apologize For “Brain Fart”

Evidently, Davis felt bad about the error that forced the vital game into overtime. In fact, he felt bad enough that he crashed LeBron’s post-game interview to apologize. During the interview, LeBron had been hyping the three-point jumper from Dennis Shroeder that put the Lakers up three. He then pointed off-screen at an unseen Davis, remarking “It’s unfortunate that AD had a brain fart and messed his game-winner up.” Davis then came into frame, grabbing the mic to loudly say, “I messed his game-winner up I apologize. I definitely apologize.”

Davis’ mistake didn’t end up costing the Lakers. LA outscored the Timberwolves 10-4 in the overtime period to come away with the win. However, Davis’ apology is a hilarious, and somewhat heartfelt moment. It speaks to the relationship between the Lakers’ two biggest stars. Furthermore, it highlights the locker room atmosphere that has kept the Lakers going through an overall disappointing regular season. Here’s hoping that Davis can keep his brain free of farts as the Lakers take on the Grizzlies in the first round.

Paul George Confident In Clippers Ability Against Lakers

Paul George is expected to miss the Los Angeles Clippers first-round playoff matchup. Unfortunately, the Clippers are in desperate need of George’s presence as they will meet the Phoenix Suns. Los Angeles has a good chance of not seeing either team from the city advance past the first round. However, it feels that a Clippers-Lakers rivalry is finally a thing in the city of Angels. On a recent episode of Podcast P with Paul George, George talked about the Clippers recent success over the Lakers.

“We got their number. Just match up well against the Lakers. We got bodies to guard Bron, we got playmakers, we got scorers, we got defenders.” The opinion is spot on when taking a closer look at the recent history between the teams. The Lakers haven’t beaten the Clippers since the bubble. Since then, it feels that the franchise has been trending in the opposite direction. The Clippers are seemingly a matchup nightmare for the Lakers.

Paul George Isn’t Worried About The Lakers

George’s comments may create a war of words between the fan bases. However, what he said isn’t a lie. The Clippers have built a roster that can defend LeBron James. Clippers star Kawhi Leonard has been one of James’ most notable rivals. As the two battled it out during the Heat-Spurs Finals matchups. Now it seems like there could be a potential change of the guard in Los Angeles. Obviously, the Lakers will always be the greatest franchise in Los Angeles. But the Clippers can say they have owned the Lakers in recent memory. Although the Lakers have the most recent championship.

Paul George’s absence from the Clippers has definitely built an uneasiness for the team heading into the playoffs. The Clippers will have to beat the hottest team in the NBA, the Phoenix Suns. With George’s absence, the Clippers will need to build a game plan to stop the best scorer in the league, Kevin Durant. Do the Clippers stand a chance of beating the Phoenix Suns? Drop your thoughts in the comment section below. For the latest NBA news, keep it right here at HNHH.

Shannon Sharpe Defends LeBron’s Legacy

Shannon Sharpe isn’t afraid to defend LeBron James’ legacy. Sharpe is of the firm belief that James is the greatest player to ever lace them up in the NBA. However, that doesn’t stop others from speaking on LeBron’s name. During Tuesday’s episode of Undisputed, Sharpe came to the defense of “The King” once again. James has just finished up his 20th regular season in the league. That accolade alone is a testament to the player that he is. However, he didn’t just play, he put up another great year of statistics.

LeBron made league history this season. Becoming the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. However, James is still a focal point for the Los Angeles Lakers. A fact that Sharpe brought up in his GOAT discussion. “LeBron’s legacy is etched in stone. Jordan missed the playoffs the last 2 years of his career, do you ding his legacy?” Sharpe does make a good point when discussing the differences between James and Jordan. Michael Jordan’s legacy is one of one. But it wasn’t always the best of times for the Chicago Bulls superstar.

Shannon Sharpe Stands Up For LeBron’s Legacy

Many are wondering if a first-round exit will tarnish LeBron’s legacy. The Lakers have had post-season struggles since winning the 2020 NBA Championship. 2020 feels like a lifetime ago in such a fast-paced world. However, Sharpe doesn’t see how this would tarnish a legacy. Sharpe even added Jordan didn’t even make the playoffs in his final two seasons with the Washington Wizards. Although the situations may be different, what LeBron is doing is still an amazing feat.

The discussion of who the greatest NBA player is can be exhausting. Instead of celebrating great players, many will attack to prove their point. There’s no secret which side Shannon Sharpe is on. Sharpe and many others continue to be amazed by what we see from James on a nightly basis. Maybe it’s time to celebrate these players while they are performing for our entertainment. Still, you probably have your favorite. So, who do you believe is the greatest of all time? Drop your opinion in the comment section. For the latest NBA news, keep it right here with HNHH.

LeBron James Finishes 20th Season With Staggering Stat Line

LeBron James is in pursuit of his fifth NBA title as the playoffs are set to begin. But James’ regular season contributions can’t be forgotten. It was another memorable year for the kid from Akron. If he didn’t have to deal with injuries this season, it could have even been a bigger season for The King. James finished the year averaging 28 points, 8 rebounds, and nearly 7 assists. While those are numbers expected by someone like James. But it is not expected by someone finishing up his 20th year in the league.

LeBron’s 2022-23 campaign saw the future Hall-of-Famer earn his second-best scoring average in his time as a Laker. James has not averaged under 20 points in one season in his entire career. The level of play by James at this time of his career is another reminder of his greatness. However, James probably isn’t interested in all the personal accolades. Although he is now the leading scorer in NBA history. However, James has his sights set on making the improbable run to the NBA Finals.

LeBron James Continues His Run Of Greatness

The Lakers will begin their run of the NBA Playoffs by participating in the play-in tournament. The team will meet the Minnesota Timberwolves in a game to decide on the seventh seed. The winner of the matchup will meet the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round. While the losers will have one more chance at a playoff spot with the winner of the Pelicans and the Thunder. The Lakers seem to be hitting their stride, as the Timberwolves are in the thick of some serious team turmoil.

It’s not up for debate. LeBron James is one of the best players to ever play in the NBA. The GOAT debate will never end. However, if James isn’t in your debate, then no one will take it seriously. In a world that bases everything on championships, James has the rings and the stats to back it up. Do you believe LeBron can keep up this level of play until Bronny enters the league? Are the Lakers a serious threat to the NBA title? Give us your thoughts in the comment section. For the latest news regarding the NBA, stay locked in right here at HNHH.
