But shortly after she became a full on superstar in the wake of tracks like “Boys a liar Pt. 2” with PinkPantheress and “Karma” with Taylor Swift. But one of her earliest major allies in her career was Nicki Minaj. The pair worked on two songs together just a few months after Spice’s breakthrough including a remix of her song “Princess Diana” and “Barbie World” from the Barbie movie soundtrack.

It’s the latter song around which a new controversy has just sparked. One of Ice Spice’s friends appears to have leaked some information about the trouble surrounding the song behind the scenes. She labels herself as the rapper’s “ex best friend” and shared a series of texts between the pair. In the alleged texts, Spice describes how Nicki attempted to cut a deal that would entitle her to a large amount of Spice’s publishing rights for the song. In one particularly cutting message, Spice calls Nicki “ungrateful and delusional” and claims that the entire affair over publishing ended their friendship. The woman took a screenshot of this and subsequently posted it to her Twitter page. This led to lots of ridicule but not towards Drake. Instead, people were confused as to why the woman thought it was necessary to post this. In fact, most insisted that she was completely fumbling the bag by doing this. “God be giving opportunities to the wrong folks,” one person wrote. “The FBI wouldn’t even be able to see my DM’s,” said another. With social media, everyone wants to flex every little detail about their lives. However, as a result, many miss the bigger picture, and you get situations like this one.

Not too long after making the post, the model ended up deleting her tweet. Furthermore, numerous people called out the model, saying that she was a very obvious clout chaser. “What are we suppose to do with this information?” one person asked on The Neighborhood Talk. “You didn’t care that he dm you why you care that he blocked you,” said another. It is clear that the model did not get the outcome she was hoping for.

Unfortunately, Offset is now facing just a bit of controversy thanks to some DMs that were exposed between him and artist Soheem Perry. This all began when Perry made a comment on Instagram, saying “Offset not big enough to headline a tour by himself. I said what I said.” This subsequently prompted Offset to DM Perry, where he simply called him a “hoe.” Perry told the rapper to “unpack that,” although the Migos alum said that Perry was being a hater, and that was that. From there, Perry leaked the DMs and they were reposted by accounts like The Neighborhood Talk.

Offset saw the post on The Neighborhood Talk and chose to respond. If you click on the post, you will see a plethora of laughing emojis. Clearly, the artist does not believe this is all that serious. With Perry instigating everything, some fans felt like it was unrealistic for the artist to not expect a hostile response. After all, the comment that Perry made was fairly insulting.

We was both being super nice to you off of the strength of our boy PO. We was literally giving you advice on how to make your cereal brand bigger. Then you came to the internet lying. That’s why y’all be stuck rather lie for clout then move your product,” Cardi wrote on Instagram.

Mane leaked DMs on Saturday night. It appeared to show a feud between himself and Offset stemming from an awkward encounter on the No Jumper podcast. “Aye bra what’s up with you I was on some cool Sh-t and you come playing with my name. But how the game work we run into each other again it’s all love bra. U capped like I kicked you out I was on some cool sh-t but u on some sucka sh-t like n-ggas can’t reach you,” Offset wrote. “Bro I Be On some Comedian Sh-t. The status of Cardi and Offset’s relationship is in a strange place. Despite a very public break-up, the pair reunited for Christmas. The move appeared to have been made in order to minimize the disruption to their children’s holiday. In a collection of videos posted to Instagram, Cardi showed off her kids opening their various presents. However, fans quickly noticed that Offset was also present, helping Wave open some of his gifts. However, it came just days after Cardi was up in the club yelling “f-ck my baby daddy” for all to hear.

Furthermore, Cardi would then go on to reveal that the New Year’s Eve she spent with Offset ended with the pair sleeping together. “Did I get d-cked down yesterday? Absolutely,” she remarked during an early-January Space that she hosted for her fans.
