Shannon Sharpe Reacts To LeBron’s Scoring Record Comments

Shannon Sharpe has never hidden the fact that he is a huge LeBron James fan. Overall, Sharpe has claimed on numerous occasions that James is the GOAT of basketball. In just a few days from now, Sharpe’s GOAT case for LeBron will be a lot stronger. This is because LeBron is just 63 points away from beating Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s scoring record. While some call this a longevity record, it must be said that LeBron has played over 100 fewer games than Kareem. Needless to say, LeBron will have taken the record in a more efficient manner.

Throughout this process, LeBron has remained humble about the record. He has noted that it is a very meaningful record, although he isn’t trying to play into the hype. He answers questions when he’s asked, but he won’t go out of his way to comment on it. However, last night, after scoring 26 against the Pacers, James offered some unique insight into the record. As he explained, this is one of the biggest records in sports and in many ways, is like the Home Run record.

Shannon Sharpe Speaks

During this morning’s episode of Undisputed, Shannon Sharpe got to react to this claim. As you can see in the clip above, he mostly agreed with James. However, he did note that the Home Run record is more memorable thanks to the fact that it is a smaller, rounder number. Either way, Sharpe is wholeheartedly impressed that James will break Kareem’s tally. “I didn’t think anyone was going to break Hank Aaron’s record,” Sharpe began. “I think that’s what everyone thought about Kareem’s — nobody was going to play long and consistent enough to get that many points.”

LeBron is on pace to break the record at home against either the Oklahoma City Thunder or the Milwaukee Bucks. Many believe it will come against Milwaukee as that would be a full-circle moment. Kareem played for both the Bucks and the Lakers. This sets up the perfect time for James to break the record, once and for all. Let us know what you think of LeBron breaking the record, in the comments down below.

Snoop Dogg Claims Lakers Are Toying With His Health

Snoop Dogg has always been a huge fan of the Los Angeles Lakers. After all, when you live in Los Angeles, there are only two teams to root for. One of these teams hasn’t won anything. However, the other team is tied for the most titles in the history of the NBA. Needless to say, it is very simple as to who Snoop should root for. Although, the Lakers have not been making it very easy over these past couple of years. Overall, the team has been inconsistent, and even with LeBron on the floor, they haven’t been able to string together a ton of wins.

Yesterday, however, the Lakers were actually able to win, this time against the New York Knicks. It took overtime to do so, although LeBron showed out with a triple-double. Moreover, he scored a grand total of 28 points, which puts him 89 points away from the scoring record. As you can imagine, Snoop was watching it all unfold, and even took to Instagram after the win.

Snoop Dogg Reacts

Unfortunately for Snoop, the Lakers’ win ended up putting him through his paces. Overall, it was a fight until the end, and his heart almost couldn’t handle it. So much so that throughout the video, the Lakers were accused of toying with the man’s health. In all honesty, we can hardly blame Snoop for his words here. “You know what that smile means: the Lakers win. Yes! We find a way!” Snoop said. “Goddamn, y’all got my nerves bad and my blood pressure high. Goddamn it, figure it out and start winning every night goddamn it! I’m too old for this shit!”

Hopefully, for Snoop and Lakers fans everywhere, the team is able to get back on the right track. They seem to be doing better right now, and they aren’t too far back of the postseason. Regardless, it is going to be a very difficult fight for this team. They have a lot to overcome, and perhaps only the trade deadline can save them. Let us know what you think of the Lakers’ chances this season, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world.

Lakers Reportedly Looking To Move On From Patrick Beverley

Over the coming weeks, the Los Angeles Lakers will have a lot to think about. They are a team that needs some new pieces, especially if they want to make the playoffs. Overall, they are 13th in the Western Conference. However, they are just a winning streak away from being a top-five team in the West.

As it stands, the Lakers have a lot of players that they could trade away. They already did so with Kendrick Nunn, and it brought in a nice player in Rui Hachimura. Now, they can go out and seek more trades that could involve players of a higher profile.

Patrick Beverley On The Move?

As it stands, one player that could potentially be traded is none other than Patrick Beverley. Pat Bev is someone who prides himself on his defense. However, he hasn’t been his best this season and it’s not what the Lakers were hoping for. Having said that, it only makes sense that the Lakers would look elsewhere.

“I think that they’re gonna continue to be active looking for guards, basically looking to upgrade their guards, seeing if they can upgrade from Patrick Beverley especially,” Brian Windhorst said on ESPN today. As for guards the Lakers are interested in, Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet seem to be at the top of that list.

The trade deadline will not be easy for the Lakers as numerous teams struggle to work out deals with them. Regardless, fans should rest easy knowing the franchise is at least doing something.

Let us know who you think the Lakers should go out and get, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world.

LeBron James Restrained After Heckler Makes Fun Of Hairline

After losing to the Los Angeles Clippers 133 to 115 on Wednesday (January 25), a heckler bashed Lakers star LeBron James for his hairline. In fact, LeBron looked quite frustrated in general after 48 points on his end and yet another lost game. Still, it’s no reason for fans to harass him at his games, as it’s the kind of hate that you don’t want to clap back to.

Overall, LeBron is quite used to the heckles and jokes, and he’s answered such jabs with one of the all-time greatest NBA careers. However, it’s a lot easier to mitigate hateful comments online, especially not in your home court. Moreover, an unidentified fan scolded the 38-year-old for his hair.

“Hey, Brown, you better get this s**t together,” they screamed, “with that receding a** hairline!” Upon that phrase, James noticed the fan and stopped in his tracks to address him. However, a referee held him back by beckoning him beyond the court. “Look, he’s mad, look at him! You sick,” he continued before laughing and turning the camera away. What’s more is that people called for him to stop during the clip.

As such, many on social media brought in jokes of their own or called out this toxic behavior. “Not this giggle at the end… sir sit down and eat them nuts,” one user wrote via Instagram. Another commented, “Can ppl come to your job and harass you? Especially after a tough day at work, yall would be ready to scuffle too!” Meanwhile, other people treated it as dirt on LeBron’s shoulder. “If the only problem he has is a hairline s**t life is good!!” one user wrote.

Moreover, the NBA superstar aims to break Kareem Abdul-Jabar’s scoring record for the regular season, and he’s dangerously close. Most recently, however, he commented on his son Bronny’s college aspirations and what team he might land on. Reportedly, he’s between Oregon, USC, and Ohio State.

“I think Bronny can go to any college he wants to,” LeBron expressed. “All I have to do is pick up the phone. If Bronny says he wants to go there, he’s good enough.”

Still, what do you think of a heckler bothering LeBron James over his hairline? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, come back to HNHH for more NBA highlights and antics.

Rob Pelinka Reveals Lakers’ Trade Deadline Strategy

Rob Pelinka is someone who has been criticized a lot by Lakers fans. He is the general manager of the team, and aside from their title in 2020, they have been pretty bad. Overall, the team has made some very questionable moves, and Pelinka is largely responsible. Having said that, fans want him to make some redeeming moves.

These moves could most certainly be pulled off around the trade deadline. In fact, the deadline is coming up and the Lakers are seen as buyers. Consequently, they already went out and got an upgrade in Rui Hachimura. That said, fans are still expecting a lot more from Pelinka.

Rob Pelinka Speaks

Recently, according to Clutch Points, Rob Pelinka was asked about the Lakers’ trade deadline strategy. Additionally, reporters were curious as to whether the Lakers would use the two first-round picks that they own in 2027 and 2029. Overall, Pelinka was firm with his answer.

“I think the calculus for the Lakers is to win a championship or not. There’s no in-between or incremental growth. So, as we analyze opportunities, we have to do it through that lens. … If there’s an opportunity to get all the way to the end and win a championship, there’s no resource we’ll hold onto if we feel like that’s there,” Pelinka said. “The completely unwise thing to do would be to shoot a bullet early and then not have it later when you have a better championship move to make. So that’s a really delicate calculus.

“If we see a move that puts us as a frontrunner to get another championship — the 18th one here — we’ll make it. And if that move doesn’t present itself, we’ll be smart and make it at a later time.”

If you are a Lakers fan, this should be some good news. It means that your team actually wants to win, and they will make improvements if they can find some. However, this is no guarantee that a trade gets made.

Russell Westbrook Trade Rumors Ramp Up

Russell Westbrook has been through a lot over this past year. For the most part, he has gotten a lot of hate from the fans. Overall, this is due to his play last season, which was less than ideal. However, he has improved significantly this year as now, he starts games on the bench.

With Westbrook playing good basketball, there are now some teams who want to go out and get Russ. The Lakers have been sitting back and listening to these offers, contemplating their next move. After all, this is a team looking to make a splash close to playoff time.

Where Will Russell Westbrook Go?

One of the teams that have been rumored as a destination for Russ is the San Antonio Spurs. According to LJ Ellis of Spurs Talk, the Spurs would be interested in Russ as they are seen as sellers this season. Josh Richardson and Jakob Poeltl are two players that would be coming back to the Lakers.

However, it remains to be seen if this actually moves the needle for the purple and gold. Overall, they need a huge difference-maker, especially from beyond the arc. Most fans feel as though they should be going after players like Buddy Hield, and even Kyrie Irving should something drastic happen.

At this point, the Lakers may just be better off keeping Russ and riding with him into the postseason. After all, they can just let him go in free agency this off-season.

Lakers Trade For Rui Hachimura: Details

If you have been watching the Los Angeles Lakers this season, then you know that they could use a lot of help. With Anthony Davis out of the lineup, the Lakers have been inconsistent. However, the Western Conference is pretty tight which is giving the purple and gold an opportunity to sneak into the postseason.

That said, the trade deadline is almost here and many have wondered what the Lakers will decide to do. Overall, the Lakers do not have a ton of assets, which makes it difficult for them to make deals. Regardless, it seems like Rob Pelinka may have just worked some magic.

Rui Hachimura To The Lakers

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Lakers have managed to acquire Rui Hachimura from the Washington Wizards. Hachimura was the ninth overall pick in 2019, and now, he is a Laker. In return, the Lakers will be giving up Kendrick Nunn, a second-round pick in 2023, and a second-round pick in 2029.

If you watched them play this year, you would know that Kendrick Nunn has largely struggled. There have been some games where he has gone completely scoreless. This simply isn’t good enough, however, the Wizards are taking him with open arms.

As Wojnarowski explained, there is a very good chance that the Lakers sign Hachimura in the summer. He is a player who has shown flashes of brilliance, and they clearly like what they see. Whether or not he makes an impact with them this season, still remains to be seen.

Russell Westbrook Tells Lakers Coaches To Do Better, LeBron Steps In

Russell Westbrook has certainly had a difficult time while playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. There have been times when he just hasn’t been at the top of his game. Overall, this has caused some interesting discourse amongst fans. For the most part, they believe he should be traded.

Now, however, Westbrook is enjoying a new role as a bench player. He plays with the team’s second unit, and for the most part, he has elevated his game. Although, there are still times when Russ is frustrated, and he allows himself to vocalize such frustrations.

Russell Westbrook Vs. Lakers Coaches

Last night, the Lakers won a game against the Houston Rockets. LeBron scored 48 in the match, however, Russell Westbrook was upset at halftime. In the video clip which can be seen down below, Russ told some of the coaches that they have to do better. Subsequently, the coach told Russ that everyone does, not just the coaches.

Eventually, LeBron stepped into the conversation and the whole thing was resolved. Overall, it didn’t look like the biggest argument ever. However, it is interesting to see such conversations happen on the sidelines.

As it stands, the Lakers are a team that boasts a measly record of just 20-24. This is not good enough if they want to make it all the way to the playoffs this year. Although, the Lakers have improved since the start of the year, which is definitely something to hang on to. It is clear that the absence of Anthony Davis is beginning to weigh on them a bit.

Let us know what you think of this argument, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the sports world.

Lakers Reportedly Interested In These Two Point Guards

LeBron James and the Lakers are a team in need of some help. With Anthony Davis injured, it has become difficult for the team to make a run. They are stuck at 13th in the Western Conference, however, they remain just 2.5 games out of sixth place, which is kind of remarkable. Overall, they can still make a big splash.

That being said, many are looking toward the Lakers as the trade deadline arrives soon. The trade deadline could be a big deal for the team as there are plenty of teams looking to buy and sell. When it comes to the Lakeshow, they are seen as more of a buyer than anything else.

Lakers Want Point Guards

According to reporter Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today, there are two point guards that the Lakers are interested in. These two guards are Fred VanVleet and Kyle Lowry. The Raptors and the former Raptors are highly skilled at their positions and are seen as upgrades over Russell Westbrook.

Additionally, both of these point guards are being put on the trading block. The Raptors know VanVleet can walk at the end of the year. Moreover, the Heat don’t want to pay Lowry anymore. Having said that, both could be the perfect players to trade Westbrook for.

The Lakers still have plenty of time to make a decision. Having said that, fans want to win now, and they aren’t going to tolerate another losing season, especially with LeBron at the helm.

LeBron James Clarifies Remarks On Potential Lakers’ Trade

LeBron James has clarified his recent comments on the Lakers’ reluctance to trade first-round picks to improve the roster. In a pair of tweets published on Sunday, James clarified that his “patience isn’t waning.”

“Y’all know what the fuck should be happening,” James told the Athletic’s Sam Amick, before adding, “I don’t need to talk.”

Amick later shared the quote on social media, describing James’ patience with the organization as “waning.” Afterward, James responded with a clarification of his quote.

“Hey Sam actually my patience isn’t waning,” he wrote back. “You make it sound like I’m frustrated when I’m really not. I told you over and over, my job is focused on the guys in the locker room, my job isn’t the roster.”

He further wrote: “That’s the reality of that conversation and I said what I said with the upmost respect and calmness cause that’s the mood I’m in! Your welcome! 5 game winning streak.”

The Lakers are currently 19-21 on the season, several spots out of playoff contention in the Western Conference.

Following a five-game losing streak in December, James hinted at his future with the team being unclear.

“I’m a winner and I want to win. I want to win and give myself a chance to win, and still compete for championships,” James said. “Playing basketball at this level just to be playing basketball is not in my DNA. It’s not in my DNA anymore. We’ll see what happens and see how fresh my mind stays over the next couple years.”
