Kim Kardashian spent this week in court after receiving a jury summons. The reality star spent Monday through Thursday at Van Nuys County Courthouse during voir dire, jury selection, for the trial of two men suspected of a gang-related murder. However, the jury was selected Thursday before Kardashian was interviewed. Therefore, she was dismissed and will not serve on the case.
Kardashian was reportedly sat in the front room of the general seating alongside a bodyguard. However, there was very little fanfare about her appearance. Most of the other prospective jurors didn’t think twice about the celebrity in their midst. However, it’s unlikely that Kardashian would have been selected for a number of reasons. Aside from her fame, she’s also a single mom and her legal background would likely make her an unappealing candidate for either side of the case. Of course, Kardashian is currently studying to become a lawyer.
Kim Kardashian Reveals Hiring A “Manny” For Saint West
Elsewhere, the most recent episode of The Kardashians saw Kim reveal a step she had taken to aid her son’s development. Kardashian revealed she had hired a male nanny to help with Saint. “It’s really hard for me to be really strict and to discipline a lot. My parents weren’t strict at all and sometimes because I’m really busy. It would be amazing if I had a partner who would tap me out and take over and handle it but, you know, it can’t happen like that. I do think that my household and even our family is very female-dominated. I recently hired a manny [because] I really wanted a male around that would be picking them up and taking them to sports, and I was scared out of my mind to tell their dad that,” Kim explained.
She was clarified that while she was scared to tell him, Kanye is fully on board with the idea. “When he was dropping off the kids, Kanye introduced himself. They played two-on-two with Saint and him. He’s been so nice to him, like ‘Hey, if you’re going to help raise my son’ — because he handed him the ball really easily or something — he’s like, ‘Don’t do that, have him get it himself. It’s some of the rules I would want.’ And I was like ‘Oh my God, okay’,” Kim continued.

You wanna hate him for that…But I will never throw someone away and act like they can’t grow and evolve.” Kardashian said. She also listed all of the selfless things Thompson has done for her and the family, such as taking her kids to dinner.
Despite the praise, not everyone was a fan of Kardashian’s glowing review. “Its been so hard to refrain from speaking up, and out of respect for my sister, I haven’t for over 7 years. but this is just too much. It’s so painful to see how Tristan can find the time to these nice things for others but can’t seem to show up and be a real parent my nephew Prince,” wrote the sister of Thompson’s baby mama Jordan Craig. The post went on to call out Kim Kardashian for defending Thompson’s character on a “global platform”. Furthermore, it disputed the claims that Thompson pays child support.

A former business partner of Ye’s alleged that he faced antisemitic abuse from the rapper, who said things to him like “I feel like I wanna smack you” and “You’re just like the other Jews.” Also, in an interview with Alex Jones on Info Wars in late 2022, the rapper boldly stated, “I love Jewish people, but I also love Nazis.” Additionally, in the same interview, he publicly praised Hitler, stating “There’s a lot of things I love about Hitler.”
He pushed the antisemitic rhetoric on social media, too, once tweeting, “I’m a bit sleepy tonight, but when I wake up, I’m going death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.” These comments ultimately resulted in him being dropped by top brands like Balenciaga and Adidas. Before this, he shared a photo of a swastika over the Star Of David, leading X (formerly Twitter) to ban him from the platform.
However, it marked just the latest in bizarre and insensitive remarks. A few years before aligning with far-right figures like Nick Fuentes and Milo Yiannopoulos, he suggested that “slavery was a choice,” among other highly offensive remarks. Around the same time, he also debuted his highly controversial “White Lives Matters” t-shirts.

The evening was further complicated with the addition of fellow controversy-stirrers, DaBaby and Marilyn Manson, who were being accused of sexual assault and anti-gay comments.

2016 was a huge shock for fans and celebrities alike when Kanye admitted that he would have pitched his tent under Trump. Clearly, Kim and Beyonce go way back. The reality star went out to support the icon’s Renaissance Tour at SoFi Stadium last month, posing for photos with family.
