Ralo & Kenny Muney Bury The Hatchet After Explosive Young Dolph Argument

For those unaware, the late Young Dolph’s artist Kenny Muney recently called out Ralo and DJ Akademiks for “clout chasing” his passing, as the former recently criticized Boosie Badazz for linking up with Yo Gotti. “All that playing click bait or whatever yall call that S**t in the name of my n***a it only last so long!!” Muney wrote on his Instagram Story. “it’s real [blood drop emoji] sweat n tears behind [dolphin emoji] yall want whatever it is yall want but yall ain’t tryna get no straightening bout my n***a quit speaking on situations wit them folks on the other side cause it ain’t a game!! if anybody know @youngdolph he don’t give a damn what nobody else doing or who f***in wit who let my n***a rest!!

“If you love Dolph love him hold his legacy but quit speaking on beef quit speaking on street $**t unless u on dirt cause we the ones gotta face it later,” Kenny Muney continued. “@ralofamgoon @akademiks I lost plenty respect for y’all 2 i know a play when i see one!!” In a response video, Ralo asked what he gained from celebrating, defending, and paying tribute to Young Dolph, questioning the “clout chaser” moniker. But now, the two have buried the hatchet and squashed their beef.

Young Dolph Artist Kenny Muney Puts Ralo & DJ Akademiks On Blast For Seeking “Click Bait” Amid Murder Trial

Young Dolph’s murder trial has been seeing some positive results as Justin Johnson was just sentenced to life in prison. In that same breath, this has still been a struggle for the late rapper’s loved ones. They have spoken out numerous times about the case and how “unfair” the justice system has been in their eyes. There is still work to be done, though. Cornelius Smith and Hernandez Govan are still awaiting their fate. Because of all of this pain surrounding it, PRE signee Kenny Muney has had it with people speaking on the situation insensitively.

In fact, he’s even calling out some by name, namely DJ Akademiks and PRE affiliate, Ralo. He feels that they have been seeking “click bait”. It seems that he’s got an issue with them incorporating the beef between Yo Gotti and Dolph amid the trial. Muney shared the heated and passionate message to his IG Story, which Akademiks actually reposted. “Quit speaking on situations wit them folks on the other side cause it ain’t a game!!”, he declared.

“If anybody know @youngdolph he don’t give a damn what nobody else f*ckin wit who let my n*gga rest!! If you love Dolph love him hold his legacy but quit speaking on street s*** unless u on dirt cause we the ones that gotta face it later”, Muney concluded. That last section about “street s***” seems to be a direct shot at Ralo for calling out Boosie Badazz for linking and embracing with Yo Gotti. It seems that Kenny Muney is really trying to separate Ralo from the PRE team, with perhaps some of that having to do with him being in Atlanta mostly.

What are your thoughts on PRE artist Kenny Muney going off on Ralo and DJ Akademiks? Do you think Muney has a valid argument here, why or why not? Young Dolph Gave Kenny Muney His PRE Chain Before He Was Signed

It seems like Memphis has been the hub for all the hottest new rappers of this generation, from Glorilla Pimp to NLE Choppa to Moneybagg Yo to Key Glock. Insert Kenny Muney, the buzzing new artist signed to Young Dolph’s PRE label who’s steadily following in Dolph’s footsteps and building his own empire.

And if you had the chance to watch Kenny open for Key Glock on his Glockoma tour, you might have left with some dollar bills. Every city they touch down in, Kenny performs his popular single “Big Muney Sh*t,” which The Source featured as Track of the Week, throwing out $1K in cash for his fans. In fact, Kenny simply views it as an investment in himself.

“Big Muney Sh*t” is the closing track on his new mixtape titled Blue Muney, which Kenny boasts as “the hardest album in the world.” He states, “Don’t ask me, ask somebody else. They gon’ say the same thing. It’s how I’m feeling right now. I’m feeling like new money, Blue Muney. I’m coming to a different time right now. I’m finna flood this shit like water, that’s what mode I’m in.”

If there’s one thing Kenny wants fans to take away from the project, it’s to “go get some money.” Track #3 sees a feature from labelmate Key Glock, with the song title “Antarctica” inspired directly by how cold the studio session was in Los Angeles. Glock was next door recording, and all it took was for Kenny to ask him to jump on the song for it to be solidified.

The other standout feature on the project is from Money Man on “In My Bag,” who Kenny states he’s a huge fan of.

“I just hit him up, told him I got a song for him,” Kenny states. “He’d been following me, we’ve been locked in. I don’t even fuck with rappers. I don’t reach out to rappers. I do, but I don’t like doing it, because some of these folks be feeling themselves. I’ve been a fan of Money Man. I fuck with him, he’s hard. He talks about what I like to talk about. I hit him, he said ‘send me the song.’ He did it ASAP and sent it right back.”

If you get the chance to meet Kenny in person, high chance he’s probably rocking his PRE chain around his neck. Crazy part is: when Dolph gave him the chain three years ago, he wasn’t even signed yet.

Kenny explains, “He called me like ‘bro, pull up on me.’ I pulled up, he gave me the chain. He gave me this before I even signed. He’s like “Is you ready yet though?” I said nah I ain’t ready yet. He’s like, ‘you gotta be ready!’ I didn’t want to sign yet. I kept telling him I wanted to do my own thing.”

Eventually, Dolph presented Kenny with terms that he couldn’t turn down. When asked the biggest piece of advice Dolph has given him, Kenny states, “Have fun. Treat your fans right, love your fans, and have fun. That’s the stuff that matters, all the other stuff really ain’t nothing.”

When asked his goals, Kenny reveals he wants to boss up into a CEO just like Dolph. He states, “I want to change other people’s lives, that’s my goal.”

Kenny Muney is here to make sure Young Dolph’s legacy lives on. As a member of Dolph’s PRE label, the Memphis native arrives with his own unique flow, braggadocious bars, and of course, unmatched hustle to always get money.

The rising star is currently opening for Key Glock on his 2023 Glockoma Tour, selling out shows all around the country. As the opener, Kenny Muney sets the mood for the rest of the evening to follow — in perfect timing with the release of his newest project titled Blue Muney.

A fan favorite remains “Big Muney Sh*t,” the closing track on Blue Muney which he describes as “the hardest album in the world.” The track was recorded in Los Angeles, where Kenny states “he got his start.”

Speaking on the record, Kenny states, “When I made that, it was a movie. It’s how I was feeling, I was on straight big money shit. I’m not on no regular shit, no little money shit. I’m on straight Big Muney shit, it’s a movie.”

The song’s official music video is quickly approaching a million views, only three months after its release. The visual was shot in Atlanta, seeing Kenny throwing money from the top of his car and in the strip club in Atlanta, while Key Glock makes his appearance.

In fact, Kenny has been throwing a rack every time he performs the record on tour, totalling to over $33K for the whole tour as he gives back to his fans.

Young Dolph’s Paper Route Empire Announces A Tribute Compilation Album, ‘Long Live Dolph’

In honor of the late Young Dolph, the Memphis rapper’s label Paper Route Empire has planned a compilation album featuring tributes from his proteges and friends. Titled Paper Route Empire Presents: Long Live Dolph, the compilation will feature Big Moochie Grape, Kenny Muney, Key Glock, Snupe Bandz, and more, and is planned for release on January 21.

Paper Route CEO Daddyo told Rolling Stone, “My best friend, brother, and loyal business partner Dolph was loved and admired by people all over the world. He led by example and influenced so many people both near and far. The world will never be the same without Dolph but I know he’d want me to continue his legacy by working hard to push all our artists to the next level and make PRE an international brand. I hope his fans love it as much as I do.”

The first single from the album is “LLD” by Jay Fizzle, Dolph’s cousin and one of his PRE artists. You can check it out below.

Dolph was killed in a shooting in front of a local bakery in his hometown. Police revealed one of the suspects was 23-year-old Justin Johnson, who was later seen wearing Dolph’s PRE chain but was not affiliated with the late rapper.

Paper Route Empire Presents: Long Live Dolph is due 1/21 via Empire and PRE.
