Keefe D Sold Items Related To 2pac Murder Says Cop Who Worked The Case

Recently the Las Vegas police raided a house which they later confirmed was in connection with the ongoing investigation of 2pac’s murder. While the investigation was never technically ended, it had been dormant for quite a while. With renewed interest from the police came renewed interest from fans. Now Chris Carroll, one of the first to arrive on the scene of his murder, is discussing some details. He joined The Art Of Dialogue recently and wasn’t shy about discussing the case details. One person he focused in on in particular is someone long associated with the case, Keefe D.

“This guy, Keefe D, has been shootin’ his mouth off for a couple of years now, openly telling everybody that he’s part of the murder,” Carroll begins. “He says he handed Orlando Anderson the gun and Orlando Anderson is the shooter, and shot 2Pac. He openly is saying, ‘I handed him the gun’ — well, that makes him part of this murder.” It’s long been suspected by many that Orlando Anderson, who died in 1998 was 2pac’s actual murderer. “I’ve heard rumors that he even had sold some items that he told people, y’know, were there that night. Whether that’s BS or not, I don’t know, but to think that not only is he admitting to being part of a murder but now he’s going to profit from the whole deal?” You can watch Carroll’s entire interview below.

Keefe D recently spoke about 2pac’s murder himself. He sat down on a different podcast to blame Diddy for getting him involved in it. That appearance came after news broke that police found bullets at Keefe D’s house and were testing them to see if they dated back to the rapper’s murder.

Earlier this week a ring worn by 2pac in one of his last public appearances was sold at auction. While the $1 million price tag got plenty of attention, even more people were shocked to find out that it was actually Drake who bought it. What do you think of Keefe D potentially selling items related to 2pac’s murder? Let us know in the comment section below.

Keefe D Blames Diddy For Getting Him Caught Up In 2pac Murder Investigation

In recent weeks Las Vegas police have begun investigating the 1996 murder of 2pac again. Last week footage was made public of the police raiding a home which they later confirmed was connected to the murder. Now that the case is back in people’s minds, Keefe D is speaking on his long association with the murder. He explained that his association with Diddy is what started it all, first telling how the pair met. “I met him back in ’91. He was doing an Usher video. They called my hydraulics place and asked to use some low-riders. So I let them use my four and we took the car up there,” Keefe explains. “Usher danced all on the hood and window door so it was a big ole dent in it and shit. I took it up to the paint shop and they like, ‘We got to paint the whole car.’ So Puffy reimbursed me with that.”

Despite the nice gesture, Keefe D still regrets meeting Diddy. “If I wouldn’t have ever met him, I wouldn’t have ever been involved in this bullshit,” he explained. “I would’ve never met the brother. I never would’ve been involved in this bullshit. Me and Suge, we played on the same pop warner team and everything. My home boys helped put Suge in the game. It really crashed two people’s empire in one night. Mine’s for sure, Suge’s too. He made our shit go down, man… He won’t even look out or nothing. Because he pitted us against each other, which was kinda smart. We’re Crips and Suge was Bloods.”

Keefe D Opens Up About Diddy And 2pac

The rap community still has a strong affinity for 2pac as evidenced by a recent auction. A ring 2pac was wearing at one of his last public appearances broke records for being the most expensive piece of hip-hop memorabilia ever sold at auction. It ultimately sold for over $1 Million earlier this week.

a

Details of an investigation into a Las Vegas home in connection to the murder of Tupac Shakur continue to pour out. The Daily Mirror notes .40 caliber bullets were recovered from the home belonging to Duane “Keefe D” Davis. Davis long suggested his nephew, Orlando Anderson, killed 2Pac.

The bullets are set to have forensic testing “to determine if they have any link to the bullets found in 2Pac’s body or on the scene of the homicide.”

An insider to the case revealed, “Microfibers or residues from the weapon or the bullet could prove to be a link. There is no information yet on the history of the bullets, how old they are or their significance. And it will take some time to assess how the bullets play a role in this case.”

On Tuesday (July 18), news broke of a search warrant executed in Las Vegas in connection with the 1996 murder of Tupac. According to TMZ, the home was owned by a woman named Paula Clemons, the wife of Keefe D, who has long been at the center of conversation involving Pac’s death.

“LVMPD can confirm a search warrant was served in Henderson, Nevada on July 17, 2023, as part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur homicide investigation,” Las Vegas police said in a statement. “We will have no further comment at this time.”

According to CBS News, retired Los Angeles police detective Greg Kading stated the case was solved as Keefe D, born Duane Davis, confessed to his involvement in the crime while he was being questioned in connection with the murder of The Notorious B.I.G. In April 2022, on the Bomb1st podcast, Former Death Row muscle Reggie Wright Jr. added more to the rumor mill about the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur, saying that the last man alive in the car which fired the fatal shots that killed Shakur will be charged with the decades-old crime this year.

Wright says that the Las Vegas Police Department has been ramping up their investigation into the Shakur murder.

“Let’s put it this way, I bet Keefe D [has] been having the runs for the last two weeks,” Wright said. “Because yeah, they are knocking on doors and there’s some activity.” Wright even made a challenge out of the rumors and urged viewers to predict the date on which Keefe D will be arrested this year while promising a prize to whoever predicts the correct date.

Police Find Bullets At Duane “Keefe D” Davis’ House Amid 2Pac’s Murder Investigation: Report

Las Vegas police reportedly recovered several .40 caliber bullets while executing a search warrant on Duane “Keefe D” Davis’ home in Henderson, Nevada, last week. The search was conducted for a renewed investigation into the murder of 2Pac in 1996. Davis is the uncle of ‘Pac’s alleged killer Orlando Anderson.

According to the Daily Mirror, a Vegas police source says the bullets will undergo forensic testing “to determine if they have any link to the bullets found in 2Pac’s body or on the scene of the homicide.” Detectives have kept clothing and bullets from the scene of the infamous shooting for over 25 years.

“Microfibers or residues from the weapon or the bullet could prove to be a link,” the source added. “There is no information yet on the history of the bullets, how old they are, or their significance. And it will take some time to assess how the bullets play a role in this case.”

The source went on to confirm that police executed the search warrant because “investigators feel they can assemble enough information that could lead to an arrest or indictment.” Despite the possibility, they admitted, “it is a long shot that the bullets will be the ones from 1996.” In addition to the bullets, police seized computers, hard drives, and various photos from the 1990s of possible suspects from Keefe D’s home. Investigators will eventually present their findings to a Las Vegas grand jury to determine whether to pursue an indictment.

As for Anderson’s role in Pac’s death, the accused killer was himself murdered just two years later in 1998. On the night of Pac’s death, Anderson famously got into a fight with him in the lobby of the MGM Grand following the Bruce Seldon vs. Mike Tyson boxing fight. Pac was shot and killed later that night.

Las Vegas Police Issued Search Warrant On Keefe D’s Home In Connection To Tupac’s Murder

Screen Shot 2023 07 19 at 3.39.50 PM

It was previously reported that a search warrant was served in Las Vegas in connection to Tupac’s 1996 murder, however, it has now been revealed that the home belongs to reputed Crip gang member Keefe D.

According. to the police, “LVMPD can confirm a search warrant was served in Henderson, Nevada on July 17, 2023, as part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur homicide investigation. We will have no further comment at this time.”

After it was revealed that the search warrant was executed in Henderson, NV, authorities gave the information to VladTV that the home in question belonged to Keefe D aka Duane Keith Davis, a reuted member of the Southside Compton Crips.

Davis is the last surviving passenger in the vehicle that was confirmed to fire the fatal shots that killed Tupac Shakur at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane in Vegas on September 7, 1996. His nephew, Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson, is believed to be the shooter, but a reported proffer agreement has protected Davis from prosecution for years. With this new development, some changes may have occurred in that said agreement.

TheSource.com will update this story as details develop.

Keefe D: Eazy-E Offered Spot At Death Row Records Before Dre

Keefe D has dropped some interesting facts about the early days of Death Row Records in a new interview with VladTV. In the early-to-mid 90s, it was practically impossible to ignore the label. It gave birth to some of the most legendary artists in the hip-hop genre. In the 30-plus years since its founding, Death Row has gone through plenty of ups and downs. After quite a bit of stagnation, it was recently acquired by Snoop Dogg, who released his debut album on the label. At this point in the game, you might think there is nothing left to learn about Death Row’s history. However, in his new interview, Keefe D proved that there’s probably a lot we still don’t know.

Duane Davis, AKA Keefe D, is a former prominent member of the South Side Compton Crips. He was a childhood friend of Eazy-E and was present for or involved with many of the events surrounding the founding of Death Row Records. Keefe was also allegedly connected to the murder of Tupac. In fact, he was behind the claims that Diddy placed a $1 million hit on the late Shakur. Whether or not there is any truth to that claim is still unclear. Still, Keefe seems to have plenty left to say about Death Row. This time, he’s opening up about the founding of the label and how Dr. Dre wasn’t actually the first choice.

Keefe D’s Involvement With Death Row

While speaking to VladTV, Keefe revealed that Death Row Records wanted Eazy-E to join before they approached Dr. Dre. He says that his friend was in prison with Death Row co-founder, Michael Harris. Through this friend, Harris asked Keefe to set up a call with Eazy. The late rapper was not too keen to do business with people behind bars, though. After the call, Eazy apparently showed up at Keefe’s house in person to talk. “Once the phone call went dead, Eazy showed up to my house 30 minutes later,” Keefe recalled, “He like, ‘Dude, them dudes in jail and I’m already established.”

The former gangster says that Harris called Dr. Dre the next day, and he accepted. The acquisition wasn’t quite so simple, as the NWA member was actually signed to Eazy-E’s label at the time. For many years, it’s been said that Suge Knight had to strongarm Eazy to get him to release Dre from his contract. According to Keefe, the truth is a lot less interesting. For the early contract termination, Eazy was allegedly paid $200,000. Once Dre was free of his contract, he joined Death Row, and the rest is history. What do you think Death Row would have been like if Eazy had said yes? Let us know in the comments!

Tupac’s Alleged Killer Appeared In Redman & Released An Album

Nearly 30 years after the tragic death of Tupac, and new details surrounding his murder continue to emerge. In recent times, more news surrounding the accused killer, Orlando Anderson, surfaced. Keefe D, Anderson’s uncle, recently sat down for an interview with Vlad TV, where he detailed his nephew’s rap career. Keefe explained they appeared in Mel-Low’s “Blaze It Up” music video with Redman together after Mel’s team reached out to them for a low-rider.

The music video helped Keefe D and Redman develop a strong relationship. Throughout the years, Redman would touch down in Compton and immediately reach out to Keefe for weed. “So yeah, [Redman] used to pull up to that little spot, he used to get off the airplane, get in his taxi, pull up to my spot, ‘Keefe D. I need that bud!’ He was ghetto. I liked him,” Keefe explained.

Orlando Anderson’s Rap Album

Two years ago, an album recorded by Anderson began surfacing online, which shocked many who only knew him as a suspect in the ‘Pac case. Keefe said that Anderson started a recording company but he explained that he was in the feds around the time that the album was recorded. “I had went to the feds so I didn’t know what was going on [with the album]. I didn’t really talk on the phone once you get in the feds ’cause, you know how they do. But once they was doing that, I went to the feds,” he said.

Though Anderson maintained his innocence until his death in 1998, Keefe D has suggested otherwise. During an interview in 2018, he claimed to be in the backseat of the car the night Tupac was shot. Though he never ID’d the killer, he claimed to be “the only one alive” who knows what happened on the night the rapper died. Former Death Row security guard Reggie Wright Jr. said that Keefe D would be arrested in connection to the murder, though that never occurred. Check out Keefe D’s interview above and press play on Mel-Low’s “Blaze It Up” video ft. Redman. Orlando Anderson appears at the 1:41 mark.

Wright says that the Las Vegas Police Department has been ramping up their investigation into the Shakur murder and that Keefe D, the most talkative witness in the Tupac murder investigation, has had a nervous last coule of weeks.

“Let’s put it this way, I bet Keefe D [has] been having the runs for the last two weeks,” Wright said. “Because yeah, they are knocking on doors and there’s some activity.” Wright even made a challenge out of the rumors and urged viewers to predict the date in which Keefe D will be arrested this year while promising a prize to whoever predicts the correct date.
