Travis Scott Supports Kai Cenat In Getting IShowSpeed Unbanned On Twitch

Within huge figures in the streaming world, there’s a lot of solid competition, but more importantly, there’s solidarity. Moreover, Kai Cenat recently expressed his wishes to get IShowSpeed unbanned from the Twitch platform, both on his own stream and to the platform’s CEO in person. A video recently surfaced of Cenat and Speed at the Streamy Awards talking to the executive, and it’s actually gotten a lot of traction. So much so, in fact, that even Travis Scott took to his Instagram Story to voice his support. Well, it’s not an explicit approval of the move. But we doubt that La Flame would highlight this if he didn’t believe in it.

Furthermore, he posted a screenshot of the video in question, which Kai Cenat captioned with “Imma get him unbanned.” Travis Scott added his own caption that could refer to Kai’s energetic attitude or to his unwavering mission: “MOOD 24/7.” For those unaware, both content creators have been taken off the platform in the past, though Cenat’s in the clear now. Speed, on the other hand, currently faces a ban for allegedly propagating sexist comments that violate Twitch guidelines, a set of rules that both violated before.

Travis Scott Shouts Out Kai Cenat & IShowSpeed

Not only that, but during a recent livestream, Kai Cenat even threatened to leave the platform and end his Twitch partnership if Speed wasn’t back on air. It’s a tough line to walk, especially considering the controversial comments that brought this situation up in the first place. Still, given that both fall under a lot of scrutiny these days for their popularity, it’s an understandable camaraderie. Other rap figures came to Cenat’s defense, for example, when his giveaway event in NYC turned into a riot.

“Y’all don’t even charge the KKK When they do that negative s**t. But charge a successful black man for giving back,” NLE Choppa tweeted back when the incident occurred. “The system so designed for us to fail it don’t make sense! [I ain’t] saying what he did what’s done correctly. Of course it’s something he could’ve done better but his intentions were pure that’s all that matter. He wanted to help, give back, inspire, and most importantly spread love.” For more news and updates on Travis Scott, IShowSpeed, and Kai Cenat, stay up to date on HNHH.

Kai Cenat Sparks Debate After He Jokes About Taking 17-Year-Old Fan To Strip Club

As one of the biggest streamers right now, Kai Cenat is no stranger to controversy and sparking debate. Moreover, recently he ruffled some feathers online after comments that seemed to garner him some backlash, although many thought that this was an exaggerated or downright fabricated reaction. While live with a 17-year-old fan, Ray, Cenat spoke to a friend via phone call who joked that they should all go to a strip club when they’re in Los Angeles. Of course, given Ray’s age, this caused many to express their concern for the social media star egging this prospect on. Regardless, it’s all with a joking and light-hearted tone, so hopefully they know that it’s probably not the best idea for all their sake.

After all, Ray and Kai Cenat have much more to bond over other than escapades like that. The two co-starred in the streamer’s new action-comedy short film in the style of Rush Hour, the YouTube exclusive Global Pursuit. The two met in Japan, and as a superfan of his, Ray is very appreciative for all that Cenat has done for him. Still, he seemed quite excited and amused about this club prospect, whether in jest or with genuine intent.

Furthermore, this isn’t the biggest thing on Cenat’s plate right now when it comes to flack-catching happenings online. Recently, an in-person giveaway event in New York went sour fast when fans started getting rowdy and causing chaos in the streets. During a stream he held after this incident, Kai Cenat responded to it by attributing blame on the bad actors who took things too far. There are certainly things he should’ve done to mitigate these negative effects, but it’s a gray area that he must learn to navigate as someone with a lot of influence and power.

“I am beyond disappointed with anyone who became destructive that day,” he said on stream. “That s**t is not cool, I want people to know that. I don’t condone anything that went on that day. None of that was my intention. I had good intentions for this whole thing.” For more news and the latest updates on Kai Cenat, stick around on HNHH.

Lil Yachty & Kai Cenat Star In New Trailer For Short Buddy Cop Film, “Global Pursuit”

The streamer world is making its way into the film industry, and leading the way is Kai Cenat. Moreover, the official trailer just dropped for his new short film, Global Pursuit, in which he’s the lead role in a buddy cop action-comedy. In addition, it stars a massive fan of his, Ray, who met the social media star during a recent Japan trip and hit it off so much that they teamed up for this project. It’s a formula and comedic style akin to films like Rush Hour, but one that looks pretty entertaining and well-crafted. If nothing else, it looks like Kai and Ray really enjoyed themselves in the making of it, and it’s still an exciting move.

Not only that, but there’s a Lil Yachty reference at one point in the trailer where someone confuses Kai Cenat for him and stars singing “Strike.” Maybe a lot of fans saw this and thought that it was just a little nod to his streaming guest. However, it didn’t stop there, as at the very end of the trailer, a group of frantic women run past a man reading a newspaper. He puts the news down, and it’s revealed to be the Atlanta artist, and he disregards the commotion and gets back to his reading.

Kai Cenat’s Global Pursuit Trailer With Lil Yachty Cameo

These days, there’s a lot of reasons as to why Lil Yachty would want to both work with Kai Cenat and put his name out there as much as possible. He’s on an unstoppable new music run recently, with his most recent single being “Tesla.” In addition, he and Kai are pretty tight, especially considering how Yachty brought him and the rest of the AMP crew on stage at Rolling Loud Miami this year. Surely, they will collaborate on a whole lot more content in the future, and it’s a fitting match energy and vibe-wise.

Meanwhile, it seems like the film will release on Cenat’s YouTube channel soon, so keep an eye out for that. Kai Cenat Breaks Silence Amid Arrest For Riot: “I Am Beyond Disappointed”

Kai Cenat

After his arrest at a riot in Union Square, New York, Kai Cenat finally spoke out. On August 4, 2023, riots broke out, damaging vehicles, buildings and causing altercations with the police. Fans had initially gathered for a giveaway of free PS5’s and other gifts from the popular streamer. Kai Expresses Disappointment Despite the chaos […]

Kai Cenat Breaks Silence On Giveaway Riot

Twitch streamer Kai Cenat has made his first public comments since a surprise giveaway in New York City turned into a full-blown riot. Cenat himself for arrested and charged with a number of things, including inciting a riot. However, in his first stream since the incident, Cenat has put all the blame on the fans. “I am beyond disappointed with anyone who became destructive that day,” Cenat declared. “That shit is not cool, I want people to know that. I don’t condone anything that went on that day. I’m seeing random videos of people getting sturdy on people’s cars and I’m asking myself, why? Why?”

“None of that was my intention. I had good intentions for this whole thing. I don’t condone any of the things that went on that day,” he continued. Furthermore, he asked for people to leave his family alone, revealing that at least one person had visited his mother’s house. In addition, Cenat revealed that he would be streaming less frequently and had a court date on August 16.

Cenat Takes Little Accountability For Riot

In the 19-minute stream, Cenat took little personal responsibility for the riot. While he said the incident had “opened his eyes to the power and influence” he has over his fans, he took little more responsibility than that. However, it’s a weak excuse for what occurred. Cenat, the most popular streamer on Twitch, clearly doesn’t view himself as a person who commands an army of millions. And so, he announced an impromptu giveaway to his viewer base of millions. It highlights the dangerous power of internet fame.

The entire debacle could have been avoided, or at least the negative effects mitigated, if Cenat had worked with city officials to plan a more structured event ahead of time. Instead, he simply told thousands of teenagers and young people to show up at an undersized location. Kai Cenat is not responsible for “inciting a riot”, as he has been charged with. However, his actions showed a negligence and lack of forethought that is incredibly prevalent in young influencers. We are just a few years removed from a YouTuber trying to start their own convention with disastrous results. The consequences of Cenat’s giveaway continue to be a developing story.

Is Kai Cenat Responsible For The NYC Riots?

At a time when YouTubers and streamers have ascended to A-List levels of fame, Kai Cenat has undoubtedly shifted how Internet celebrities are viewed in 2023. He’s undoubtedly gained a massive following, one that earned him millions of followers on YouTube, Twitch, and other platforms. As a result, his livestreams have become a go-to destination for plenty of rappers during their promo runs. Drake and Nicki Minaj have shown him the utmost praise for his incredible feats on Twitch while artists like NLE Choppa and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie have appeared on his streams on several occasions.

However, the great success that he’s seen in recent times hasn’t gone without controversy and trouble. Kai Cenat and his fellow AMP colleague, Fanum, attempted to give back to their community in New York City with a planned giveaway of five PS5s. Thousands gathered in Manhattan’s Union Square Park, transforming what began as an attempt to distribute free PlayStation 5 consoles into a tumultuous scene that required police intervention. The event quickly spiraled into chaos, leading to dozens of arrests and charges against Cenat for inciting a riot.

The Flash Mob That Backfired

Kai Cenat, alongside fellow AMP streamer Fanum, took to social media to announce their intention to give away coveted PlayStation 5 consoles in Union Square Park. However, this impromptu flash mob lacked proper permitting, setting the stage for trouble. By 3 p.m., a swelling crowd had formed in the park, but tensions mounted as more people packed in. The majority of the attendees remained peaceful and hoped to catch Kai Cenat in the flesh, if only to nab a PS5. But, an incredibly vocal minority stirred up trouble. Reports claim that the crowd began to act aggressively by stopping traffic, climbing vehicles, and throwing objects.

Perhaps, Kai Cenat felt this would reap a similar outcome as the music video for Lil Uzi Vert’s “Just Wanna Rock,” which the streamer starred in. Apparently, Uzi told Cenat to post their location in hopes of bringing people outside to help shoot the music video. However, that particular incident didn’t result in the same type of trouble as the Union Square Park flash mob.

Escalation Into Chaos

Around 4 p.m., the situation devolved further. Chaos erupted in the streets of New York where rocks and bottles began getting thrown, while fireworks began to set off. Police report that a handful of individuals stormed a construction site. Police were confronted by those in the crowd, leading to a number of arrests. It was overall a chaotic scene that Mayor Eric Adams suggested could’ve been triggered by “outside agitators.” Still, authorities have pinned the blame on Kai Cenat. However, it seems like it could be a bit more complex than the reports indicate.

The Question Of Responsibility

The question remains: Is Kai Cenat responsible for the riot that ensued? Opinions are divided on the matter, especially as more information emerges. A handful of videos have shown Cenat attempting to help calm down the crowd. At one point, he was spotted trying to help a fan who seemed to be dealing with a health issue in the group.

Kai and Fanum attempted to do something great for the people who put them in the positions they’re in today. Plus, the amount of support they’ve received online clearly translates to real life. Unfortunately, the method by which they approached the giveaway turned this matter into a legal one. Some argue that the event’s organization, lack of proper permitting, and the frenzy it incited all point to a level of responsibility.

However, supporters of Cenat contend that his intentions were not malicious. NLE Choppa, for example, came to Kai’s defense online. “Y’all don’t even charge the KKK when they do that negative sh*t but charge a successful black man for giving back,” he said while criticizing the system. “Ian saying what he did what’s done correctly of course it’s something he could’ve done better but his intentions were pure that’s all that matter.”

Ultimately, Kai initiated the gathering, but simultaneously, he couldn’t predict nor control how things transpired. Interestingly enough, he shared a vlog after the event where he was spotted in a vehicle away from the madness.

Police revealed that 65 people were arrested during the incident, roughly half of whom were juveniles. However, police confirmed that they were charging Kai Cenat for his alleged role in the riot in New York City. Police charged him with a felony count of first-degree rioting and misdemeanor charges of inciting a riot and unlawful assembly. Police later released Cenat from custody and issued a desk appearance ticket.

These charges indicate a legal standpoint that holds Cenat accountable for the chaos. However,  they also raise questions about the extent of his involvement and the potential consequences he might face.

Conclusion

It seems as though Kai Cenat will have a legal headache to work through as a result of the incident. To a degree, it looks like Kai Cenat underestimated the impact of his influence, especially in his hometown. Despite attempting to use his platform to give back, he evidently missed the mark with his efforts.

Kai Cenat Helps Crying Fan At NYC Giveaway Riot: Clip

Kai Cenat hosted a giveaway in New York City last week, bringing in a massive crowd of fans to Union Square. The giveaway took a horrible left turn, unfortunately, leading to multiple arrests, fights, damaged property, and more. The NYPD took the Twitch streamer into custody at the time, later revealing that he’ll be facing multiple charges for the chaotic event. Reportedly, he’s now looking at two counts of inciting a riot and unlawful assembly, on top of “a few other charges.”

Reports have caused a debate on social media surrounding whether or not Cenat deserves to be charged. While he’s a major influencer and likely knows his reach, many say that he couldn’t have predicted the outcome. A new clip shows the streamer kneeling down beside a fan in distress the day of the incident, attempting to help them calm down. It’s unclear if the fan was injured in some way, or if they were just overwhelmed and having a panic attack. As the struggling fan cries, Cenat is heard asking them if they’re okay. “I can’t breathe guys,” the fan tells Cenat and others nearby, “I just wanted to see you.” He’s shown holding the fan’s arms and trying to be reassuring as they take some deep breaths.

Struggling Fan Tells Kai Cenat They “Can’t Breathe”

Based on the clip alone, it seems as though Cenat truly cares about the wellbeing of his fans. This is something that’s been called into question as of late, making the new clip notable. Various people have come to his defense in recent days, including NLE Choppa and Offset.

Police say they arrested at least 65 people at the giveaway, which caused a major disturbance in the area. Chief Jeffrey Maddrey of the NYPD reflected on the pandemonium during a press conference Friday (August 4). “They destroyed food carts; they destroyed stores,” he explained. “We went from 300 kids to a couple of thousand kids in minutes.” There were also an unspecified number of reported injuries from the incident, three of which were police officers.
