With Vive Latino, Amazon Music Is Helping To Bring Global Festivals To Your Home

Vive Latino

The last several years have made the act of livesteaming essential, especially as global events caused more and more people to trade IRL experiences for the comfort and safety of their homes. But for many, this is a welcomed innovation in the live music space that gives access to those who might not normally be able to witness many events. Whether it is physical conditions, mental health, financial obstacles, or just proximity, livestreaming allows more people to participate in live music than ever before, truly meeting the audience on their own terms.

Among those leading the charge in this space is Amazon Music, who last weekend made their first endeavor into Mexico as the exclusive partner of Vive Latino. Vive Latino is one of Mexico’s premiere music festivals, differentiating itself with its emphasis on home-grown talent, rock bands, and international touring forces. It’s a partnership that goes beyond reaching fans already immersed in Latin culture, especially as Latin music has become mainstream pop culture over the last several years. It has never made more sense than to bring artists like Maná and Belanova to living rooms around the world and should signal the beginning of similar global reaches from streaming giants.

On the ground in Mexico City, the livestreaming infrastructure stretches to both the festival grounds and backstage. A compound next to the Amazon Music stage played host to artist interviews and exclusive content that punctuated the broadcast. While the viewers tune in to relatively seamless steams of performances and interviews, backstage, it can often be a surprise to see which artists pop in to chat after their set, with hosts Pame Voguel, Gerudito, Nicole Horts, Leos, Maria Letona, and Miguel Solis all ready for whoever and whatever comes their way.

One of the coolest aspects of the streaming endeavor, and one that I hadn’t witnessed before, was through the partnership with JBL, where attendees could be loaned out headphones and tune into other stages for the livestream. If you were enjoying the VIP cabanas and didn’t want to give up your spot to catch Future Islands on the other side of Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, the livestream provided an accommodating middle ground, giving an attendee access to stages without having to move an inch. It was the first time that I’d considered livestreaming being not just for those who couldn’t attend Vive Latino, but also a resource for those on the grounds.

Of course, Amazon Music isn’t the only major player in this space. YouTube has made Coachella home viewing an annual event, where now nearly any music fan can have a take on today’s hottest artists without having to navigate the literal heat of the Coachella Valley. Lollapalooza recently partnered with Hulu to give their festival a home presence. And one can only imagine that other streamers will find their way into the same game, with events that pair well with their audience.

On Amazon Music’s side, they’ve already made serious headway into the space, with broadcasts including Vibra Urbana in Miami USA, Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Madrid, Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, and Coachella’s country cousin, Stagecoach Festival. And the move into Latin America is a significant one, as artists from the region have become some of the most recognizable not only in the US but around the world. And with a number of ways to meet fans where they are — the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, Prime Video, or on the Amazon Music app — livestreaming a music festival has never been more intuitive.

Will livestreaming take a bite into the IRL experience of going to festivals and concerts? That feels hard to imagine, especially as you witness the massive audiences that turned up for artists like Fito Páez and Hobres G on the festival’s biggest stage. Anecdotally, Coachella has never had a problem with attendance despite years of livestreaming, with this year’s slower sales coming more from a talent standpoint than accessibility. Nothing really compares to seeing your favorite artists in person, surrounded by similar-minded fans, singing along as loud as possible. But livestreaming isn’t trying to recreate that. It provides additional access points for people who need them. It’s allowing fans a taste of an event that they might try to actually visit the next year. It’s using the capabilities of massive tech companies in innovative ways so that music spreads as far and wide as possible.

Adin Ross Gifts Fousey With $100K: Watch

Adin Ross is someone who has certainly gotten a lot of flack for his on-stream antics. After all, he is someone who is known to say some pretty outlandish things sometimes. However, he has been able to stay pretty even-keeled as of late. Additionally, he has been trying to give back to people by gifting huge amounts of money. At this point, Ross is one of the richest streamers out there, so he certainly has the cash to spend. Not to mention, it always leads to a perfect viral opportunity.

For instance, Adin Ross recently had Fousey on his stream. If you don’t remember, Fousey was arrested on his stream months ago due to a mental health crisis. He was streaming 24 hours per day and his mental health was seriously deteriorating the entire time. Now, however, he appears to be back, albeit in a more subdued manner. In the video below, you can see Adin and Fousey having a conversation with one another. During the conversation, Fousey revealed that he was having financial troubles. As a result, Ross decided to bless him.

Adin Ross x Fousey

Near the end of the video, Adin reveals that he is fiving Fousey a total of $100K. Of course, Fousey was very excited about this and gave Ross a hug. Ross couldn’t keep it too serious, however, as he made sure to get in a joke about r*pe. Regardless, this was a great move for Ross to make especially since people have been feeling bad for Fousey. He went through a lot during his subathon, and now, he has some money that will allow him to rebuild his life.

Hopefully, Fousey is able to see a mental health specialist and get himself right. Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments section down below. Kai Cenat Appears To Display “Free Tory” Message In His Jail Cell During Marathon Stream

Kai Cenat is currently under the microscope in a big way right now. Overall, it is all thanks to his massive 24/7 jail stream that is set to last seven days. This stream has seen numerous scripted sketches and some massive cameos. NLE Choppa came on stream at one point, while Druski has also participated. This is one of the most ambitious projects that has ever been tried on Twitch. However, there are plenty of people out there who find all of this to be a bit much. Some have gone so far as to say that it is promoting a negative message.

Ultimately, this is Cenat’s first true foray into this kind of performance art. While he typically gets to stream in front of a computer, he never really does things outside of his home. Although he may not be the first Twitch streamer to try something interactive and in a different setting, this is easily the first time it has been done by the biggest man on the platform. Now, however, a message in his jail cell is currently getting scrutinized online, for obvious reasons.

Kai Cenat Has Fans Watching Closely

In the Instagram post above, you can see that in Kai’s jail cell, there is a message that simply says “Free Tory.” Now, this is controversial for a plethora of reasons. It is a very obvious reference to Tory Lanez, and how many believe he is innocent. Some of have even gone so far as to label it as a dog whistle of misogyny. Despite Tory being convicted, there are those who still hold onto the belief that Megan Thee Stallion lied. Hence, the message “Free Tory.” Needless to say, it wasn’t a smart decision from Kai given the already-controversial streaming concept.

Have you been tuning into the stream? Let us know what you think about all of it, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the music world. We Will always keep you informed on your favorite artists and entertainers.

IShowSpeed Torments Kai Cenat And His Alleged New Girlfriend

IShowSpeed is easily one of the biggest names in the streaming world right now. Overall, the exact same thing can be said of Kai Cenat. These two are incredible at what they do, even if sometimes they are controversial. Speed is certainly the most controversial of the two. Meanwhile, Cenat is the bigger star who is seen as less of a brand risk. Ultimately, this is because Speed is younger and sometimes, he lets his youthful instincts get in the way of proper common sense. Consequently, he does things that get him in a lot of trouble.

Regardless, the two got to link up over the weekend following the Sidemen charity match in which Speed played for the YouTube All-Stars. Speed got to take a penalty kick in the match, although he ended up missing. As for his recent stream with Cenat, he was on with the megastar’s new alleged girlfriend. We say “alleged” as Drama Alert reports that is who she is, although a concrete confirmation of this was not found. Either way, the stream was entertaining and there were plenty of antics.

IShowSpeed x Kai Cenat

In the video clip above, you can see the three all sitting next to each other. That’s when IShowSpeed begins to pass gas on his friends. Overall, it is a pretty juvenile thing to do although he is a young guy who probably still sees fart humor as the pinnacle of comedy. Kai and his friend were disgusted by the whole ordeal although they did crack some smiles. Needless to say, Speed’s entire goal was accomplished in the end.

The entire world of livestreaming and Twitch has been fascinating to watch over the years. Many are becoming massive celebrities and are even being considered for films and television. Over the coming years, the industry is likely to grow to even larger heights. Let us know your thoughts on streaming, in the comments section below.
