Joe Biden Pardons BMF Cofounder Terry Flenory

Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, a cofounder of the criminal enterprise Black Mafia Family (BMF), recently received a grant of clemency from United States President Joe Biden on December 12. Moreover, it’s part of the executive’s larger move to pardon a lot of people released from prison and placed under house arrest during the COVID-19 pandemic. “Now It’s official!” Flenory wrote on social media alongside a picture of the clemency affidavit and a video of his ankle monitor being removed. “@realbigmeechmom I understand you were excited, so last week you let the cat out the bag. It’s been a journey, but prayer and unwavering faith beyond mere human comprehension got us to this point. Never once acted in my own ability nor doing anything to anyone to help myself. So the gloves are off the gag orders are up and all the naysayers have to suck it up. #godisgood.”

In addition, this follows another update on the status of fellow BMF cofounder Big Meech. He will serve the rest of his sentence at a Florida halfway house and then carry out a supervised release for five years.

Terry Flenory Celebrates Clemency From Joe Biden

For those unaware, in 2008, the court sentenced Big Meech and his brother Terry Flenory to 30 years in federal prison for drug trafficking. Sadly, the COVID-19 pandemic eventually exacerbated a lot of their challenges from behind bars, as it created various risks to public health in correctional institutions. The government’s leniency in responding to this matter meant that Southwest T traded federal jail for a house arrest term in 2020 in order to fulfill what remained of his sentence. This presidential pardon from Joe Biden now commutes his remaining sentence.

Meanwhile, Terry Flenory’s freedom comes after 50 Cent and Big Meech teased a huge collab on the way, although fans have no idea what it will actually look like. Will it contribute to the television universe of BMF and Fif’s media empire as a whole, will it relate to music, or is it something we can’t possibly predict? We can’t deny that the last option sounds quite exciting. But the Flenorys deserve much more peace and alone time than they deserve to feed our hunger for more developments.

Joe Biden Promises Donald Trump A “Smooth Transition” In White House Meeting

Joe Biden met with Donald Trump at the White House on Wednesday, promising the incumbent president a “smooth transition” of power when he takes over the Oval Office in January. In a video from their meeting, the two appeared cordial while discussing the situation. “We’re looking forward to having, like we said, a smooth transition, do everything we can to make sure you’re accommodated, what you need,” Biden said. “Welcome, welcome back.”

Trump responded to his opponent from 2020: “Politics is tough, and it’s many cases not a very nice world, but it is a nice world today, and I appreciate very much a transition that’s so smooth it’ll be as smooth as it can get, and I very much appreciate that, Joe.” White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre later confirmed to Reuters that the two spoke for roughly two hours. “It was a substantive meeting,” she told reporters. “They discussed important national security and domestic policy issues facing the nation and the world.”

As for the topic of the rest of their conversation, Trump told the New York Post they “talked very much about the Middle East,” adding that he “wanted to know his views on where we are. And he gave them to me, he was very gracious.” Biden originally beat Trump in the 2020 election, but afterward, Trump didn’t invite Biden for a meeting at the White House, as had been tradition. As for why Biden didn’t take the same path, Jean-Pierre explained: “He believes in the norms, he believes in our institution, he believes in the peaceful transfer of power.”

Joe Biden Promises Peaceful Transition Of Power

The meeting comes after Trump defeated Biden’s vice president, Kamala Harris, during the 2024 presidential election. Harris replaced him on the ticket after he dropped out of the race, earlier this year. Check out a portion of Joe Biden and Donald Trump’s meeting below.

Charlamagne Tha God Emphatically Blames Joe Biden After Disastrous Election Results For Democrats

Charlamagne Tha God went off on Joe Biden during Wednesday morning’s episode of The Breakfast Club while discussing the results of the 2024 presidential election. The rant comes after Donald Trump declared victory over Kamala Harris from his watch party at Mar-a-Lago just before 2:30 AM, EST. By that point, he had clinched 277 electoral college votes.

“Biden is one of the problems here because he should’ve let everyone know he was just a transitional president,” Charlamagne began. “He should’ve let everybody know he was just going to do four years and get on about his business. Biden should’ve dropped out a year ago or two years ago. And they should’ve made him drop out a year or two years ago. Or not drop out, but say he was not going to run again. Whoever could’ve prepared. They could’ve done a proper primary, picked a candidate. I still think the V.P. probably would’ve been the best choice. I think Biden is one of the bigger issues here that people aren’t going to want to talk about but they should. At the end of the day, America spoke loud and clear. It was a free and fair election. People went out there and voted for the candidate that they wanted to vote for and now that candidate is our President.”

Donald Trump Declares Victory

Former US President Donald Trump holds hands with wife Melania at his Election Night. Watch Party at the Palm Beach County Convention Center after being elected the 47th President of the United States on November 5, 2024.

In addition to the presidency, the Associated Press reports that Republicans have won control of the U.S. Senate, helping Trump secure confirmation of his Cabinet picks as well as any choices for Supreme Court justices if vacancies arise. Charlamagne concluded: “The things that they’re going to do in the White House with control of the Senate is going to affect us all.” The House of Representatives, on the other hand, is still being decided.

Queen Latifah & Missy Elliott Receive National Medals Of Arts From Joe Biden

Queen Latifah and Missy Elliott are easily some of the most versatile and forward-thinking female hip-hop stars of the genre. Without them, who knows where that corner of rap would be. Well, POTUS Joe Biden and the United States government certainly recognize their hand in music but also for their general trailblazing abilities. According to AllHipHop, this past Monday, Latifah and Elliott were awarded with National Medals of Arts. They are the highest honor any artist can receive from the United States government. To be exact, “the highest award given to artists, arts patrons, and groups by the United States Government and honors exemplary individuals and organizations that have advanced the arts in America and offered inspiration to others through their distinguished achievement, support, or patronage.”

Elliott was quick to thank Joe Biden on X (Twitter) for the achievement. “I am HUMBLY GRATEFUL! Crying Tears of JOY! Thinking of the days I wasn’t so strong but through FAITH & PRAYER I kept going.. I’m SO THANKFUL. @POTUS & CONGRATULATIONS to the other amazing ppl who was blessed with this honor.”

She also was honored today! Thank you for kicking down doors QUEEN for me & those after you #NationalMedalsofArts @FLOTUS The entire committee.” Biden made sure to speak highly about the recipients, tweeting, “You are inspiring as individuals and truly extraordinary as a group. The newest recipients of the National Medals of Arts and Humanities have broken barriers, blazed new trails, and redefined culture. They are truth-tellers, bridge-builders, and change-seekers. And above all they are masters of their crafts who have made us a better America.”

Missy Elliott and Queen Latifah were among the artists honored by President Joe Biden with National Medals of Arts on Monday (October 21). The award is the highest honor given to artists and arts patrons by the United States government. Past recipients have included writer Ralph Ellison, painter Georgia O’Keeffe, singer Ella Fitzgerald, actor James Earl Jones, and actor/activist Harry Belafonte.

Missy and Latifah were both honored for their contributions to music — Missy in 2022 and Latifah in 2023 — and actually given their medals by Biden at Monday’s ceremony, alongside fellow recipients Ken Burns, Spike Lee, Steven Spielberg, Idina Menzel, and Eva Longoria. The two rappers were the first rappers to receive National Medals of Arts since the honor was established in 1984. Incidentally, both were the first recipients of other prestigious honors; in 2023, Latifah was the first female rapper to become a Kennedy Center honoree, while Elliott became the first female rapper inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

On Twitter (not “X,” which is a horrible name), Missy wrote: “I am HUMBLY GRATEFUL! Crying Tears of JOY! Thinking of the days I wasn’t so strong but through FAITH & PRAYER I kept going..I’m SO THANKFUL @POTUS & CONGRATULATIONS to the other amazing ppl who was blessed with this honor. And a BIG CONGRATS to my sis @IAMQUEENLATIFAH who deserve all the bouquets she also was honored today! Thank you for kicking down doors QUEEN for me & those after you.”

Unfortunately, there’s no report on whether Biden put his thang down, flipped it, and reversed it, but one can only hope.

Ice Cube Slammed For His Resurfaced Stance On Voting As 2024 Election Cycle Heats Up

Ice Cube is getting slammed on social media for his past comments on voting. The backlash appears to be in response to a resurfaced video of Cube rebuking the idea of voting for the Democratic party without demanding action in exchange for doing so. He originally posted it on social media in September 2020.

“Ice Cube is out here telling people not to vote again,” one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote over the weekend. “While he sits in his million dollar mansion and Black folks in the south are getting kicked off their Medicaid.” Another added: “Ice Cube is estimated to be worth $160M, he can’t comprehend why people with diabetes are living better lives under the Biden Administration or why people need their medicaid, Medicare, social security. Living in a wealthy gated community has damaged this man head from reality.”

Cube eventually addressed one of the complaints on X. “I’m not in bed with none of these clowns,” he wrote. “So go get another booster shot and stfu…” One user fired back in the replies: “You’re a f*cking sellout. Plain and simple. F*ck you for that. All that “gangsta“ sh*t but you’re basically Trumps b*tch!”

Ice Cube Fires Back

Cube previously made headlines for rejecting a call with Kamala Harris back in 2020 while she was running to be Joe Biden’s Vice President. “We had spent a lot of people’s time putting the contract with Black America together, and I just thought that getting on a Zoom call with 12 other entertainers all shooting what they believe needs to be done, to me wasn’t going to be productive,” he told Fox Soul’s Cocktails with Queens at the time. Tyrese Slams Joe Biden And Kamala Harris Over Anti-Asian Hate Crime Bill

Tyrese explained his frustration with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris while speaking with civil rights attorney Ben Crump, last week. His complaints centered around Joe Biden passing the Anti-Asian Hate Crime Bill. He found the emphasis on passing a bill to protect the Asian community hypocritical. In doing so, he claimed they left the Black and Brown communities behind.

“President Biden and Kamala Harris signed an Asian Hate Crime Bill, which makes it beyond illegal to ever purposely or maliciously do anything to anybody in the Asian community. And there was a spike in crimes and criminal behavior in and around COVID allegedly and specifically motivated by Donald Trump. So everybody started treating Asians… beating them, killing them, shooting them, stabbing them, hurting them. And then [Biden] gets into the White House and skips over every Black and Brown Mexican and Latino that has been getting killed like flies and he makes it a low: Asian Hate Crime Bill,” Tyrese began.

He continued: “There is a crime bill that was signed into law that protects Asians at all costs. Where is that same f***ing law to be signed into law when it comes to Black and Brown people? Because what you’re doing is — President Biden and Kamala Harris — what you’re doing is, you’re saying that Black and Brown people will continue to be disposable. That sh*t doesn’t make sense.”

Tyrese Speaks On Kamala Harris

Harris, who has served as Biden’s Vice President over the last four years, is currently campaigning to take his job in the upcoming election. Lil Pump Will Perform Kamala Harris Diss Track At The Next Trump Rally

Lil Pump is not letting up. The rapper who once went viral for being about, well, nothing, has become a political pundit. If you hear his name at all these days, it’s because he has made a withering comment about the Democratic Party. Lil Pump has been a supporter of Donald Trump for years, but his anger towards Trump’s opponent, Kamala Harris, is relatively new. The Floridian has decided to diss Harris repeatedly on Twitter. According to his latest post, though, he plans to take his aggressive political stance into the studio.

On August 8, Lil Pump made a few bold claims. One, he claimed to be performing at the next Donald Trump campaign rally. Two, he claimed to have a diss track ready, and it’s aimed at Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. That’s right. Biden may have decided not to seek reelection, but he’s unable to avoid Pump when it comes to bars. “I will be performing the Joe Biden Kamal [sic] Harris diss track at the next Trump rally,” he tweeted. A few hours later, Lil Pump doubled down on his stance by adding: “Pump for Trump.” The latter phrase is questionable at best, but we are talking about a rapper who was called “Little Pimp” the first time he attended a Trump rally.

Lil Pump Plans To Diss Kamala Harris And Joe Biden

Claiming to have a Kamala Harris and Joe Biden diss track in the stash is not the boldest thing Lil Pump has said this week. The distinction of “boldest political statement” goes to an earlier social media post. The rapper claimed he’d leave the United States if Kamala Harris wins the election. “I swear on my dad’s grave,” Lil Pump noted. “If this stupid a*s b*tch Kamala Harris wins the f*cking election. I’m moving out of America, boy. I swear on everything.” Pump’s hatred for Harris is superseded only his adoration of the Donald. Despite being clalled the wrong name in 2020, the rapper has remained a loyal supporter.

Lil Pump could not have been more excited to sing the praises of Trump during a Florida campaign rally. “I came here to say, Mr. President, I appreciate everything you’ve done for our country,” he said. “You brought the troops home and you’re doing the right thing. MAGA 20, 20, 20. Don’t forget that! Don’t forget that. And do not vote for Sleepy Joe at all.” Things didn’t go the way Lil Pump wanted, but he remains steadfast. Let’s see if his supposed Biden-Harris diss ever sees the light of day.

Waka Flocka Flame Doubles Down On Trump Support After Mocking Biden Fans

Waka Flocka Flame doesn’t pretend to be a political expert. The rapper knows what fans look to him for, and he makes it his priority to be energetic and entertaining. That said, Waka has become increasingly more vocal about his ideology. He decided to clarify where he stood, politically speaking, during a string of tweets on July 31. He not voiced support for Republican nominee Donald Trump, but he described why and urged those who disagreed to be civil in their reaction.

Waka Flocka Flame made it clear that he doesn’t prescribe to the MAGA extremism put forth by some facets of Trump’s followers. “Trump still my president,” he stated. “I don’t have to stand with a red hat or dance or stage for money in my pockets. Didn’t push me this direction.” The rapper then noted that one shouldn’t attack someone for having a different set of beliefs than them. “This is my choice like I choose not to eat pork,” he explained. “But do that make me hate pork lovers or disrespect their character…” He proceeded to list the different ways in which he aligns with Trump’s policies. Once more, while noting he is nothing more than an entertainer with a voice.

Waka Flocka Flame Was Awarded By The Trump Administration

“I just want my rights,” Waka Flocka Flame asserted. “My freedom, equality, men/women to pay for bad policing. Women to have rights and make choices for self, teachers to be paid more, and the list goes on. But hey I’m just a lil o entertainer with a micro voice I know no1 is listening.” It’s a measured explanation, especially compared to the aggression of other rappers who have endorsed Donald Trump. Lil Pump has been waving the Trump flag for years, and has resorted to questioning the racial background of Kamala Harris. Waka Flocka Flame’s plea for understanding, however, does contradict his behavior during a July concert.

On July 2, the “No Hands” rapper singled out Joe Biden supporters and mocked them during his show in Utah. “All Joe Biden voters, get out of my concert,” he stated. “We going to see y’all at the bingo game. We’re gonna party right now for motherf*cking president T24!” The footage of Waka Flocka Flame went semi-viral, and many fans criticized the rapper for isolating fans who paid to see him perform. It’s also worth noting that Waka was awarded by the Trump administration back in 2021. He was given a lifetime achievement award for his philanthropical work with the Chicago organization Daughter of Destiny.

Harris Campaign Raises Record-Breaking $100 Million in Two Days

GTB9MbjaYAAUSH0

Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign has achieved a historic fundraising milestone, raising over $100 million between Sunday afternoon and Monday evening. This impressive haul, which includes contributions to the campaign, Democratic National Committee, and joint fundraising committees, brings the total number of unique donors to more than 1.1 million since Sunday, with 62% being first-time donors.

In just the first 24 hours, Team Harris raised $81 million, contributing to an existing war chest nearing a quarter of a billion dollars. This unprecedented fundraising effort saw over 888,000 grassroots donors making contributions, marking the highest 24-hour raise of any candidate in history.

Harris’s trip to Milwaukee comes amid this surge of grassroots support and enthusiasm, reflecting a growing momentum toward her election bid. The vice president’s ability to mobilize such widespread support underscores the groundswell of backing behind her campaign.

Vice President Kamala Harris delivered her first statement after President Biden withdrew from the 2024 presidential race and delivered a ringing endorsement of his partner.

In a statement shared by the Biden campaign, Harris saluted Biden for “selfless and patriotic” decision.

“On behalf of the American people, I thank Joe Biden for his extraordinary leadership as President of the United States and for his decades of service to our country,” Harris opened. “His remarkable legacy of accomplishment is unmatched in modern American history, surpassing the legacy of many Presidents who have served two terms in office.”

“It is a profound honor to serve as his Vice President, and I am deeply grateful to the President, Dr. Biden, and the entire Biden family. I first came to know President Biden through his son Beau. We were friends from our days working together as Attorneys General of our home states. As we worked together, Beau would tell me stories about his Dad. The kind of father—and the kind of man—he was. And the qualities Beau revered in his father are the same qualities, the same values, I have seen every single day in Joe’s leadership as President: His honesty and integrity. His big heart and commitment to his faith and his family. And his love of our country and the American people.

“With this selfless and patriotic act, President Biden is doing what he has done throughout his life of service: putting the American people and our country above everything else.

“I am honored to have the President’s endorsement and my intention is to earn and win this nomination. Over the past year, I have traveled across the country, talking with Americans about the clear choice in this momentous election. And that is what I will continue to do in the days and weeks ahead. I will do everything in my power to unite the Democratic Party — and unite our nation — to defeat Donald Trump and his extreme Project 2025 agenda.”

She closed, writing, “We have 107 days until Election Day. Together, we will fight. And together, we will win.”

As Harris continues to gain traction, her opponent, Donald Trump, faces the challenge of countering her popular agenda and vision for the American people. The divisive and unpopular nature of Trump’s policies contrasts sharply with Harris’s record and the vibrant energy of her grassroots supporters.
