50 Cent Refuses To Believe He Lost A Rap Beef, But Gives Jadakiss Mad Props

50 Cent has had and continues to have plenty of beefs with hip-hop giants. One of his nastiest ones is with Ja Rule, and it still sort of seems to be going on. However, it’s worth mentioning that it is nowhere as serious as it once was. It was at or near its peak in the early to mid-2000s, when he dropped “New York” featuring Fat Joe and Jadakiss. Unbeknownst to the latter, him joining his once extremely mortal enemy would then lead him to become another foe. From there, Jada and Fif would go on to trade some tracks, with the former dropping the most notable in “Checkmate.”

However, unlike most of the feuds he has, this one with The LOX MC didn’t last all that long. Over the years, Jada has explained on various occasions as to why it was so short-lived. In an interview with Talib Kweli about four years ago, he explains, “I think Fif was really a fan… We was rocking with him, rooting for him — always rooting for the underdog. His story is one of the greatest stories.” That respect continued later on in the chat, “He came through one day. He called to say, ‘Yo, I’m coming through.’ He came through by himself. Sat down, kicked it for a few hours… He actually had a song for me and a song for [Styles] P to get on, on whatever album he was working on, and it’s been good ever since. It wasn’t even that serious. The people kind of blew it up more than it was.”

50 Cent & Jadakiss Continue To Grow Respect For One Another Years After Their Beef

Overall, that admiration and growth in their relationship has been super strong, even four years after those comments. 50 Cent popped out to Big Boy’s radio station for an interview recently to talk all the major topics in the genre currently. However, they took some time to look back on this Jadakiss situation. In classic Fif fashion, he was hilariously stubborn.

But in that same breath, he was willing to give Kiss his shine for his pen game during the battle. 50 believes that he never truly lost to him, but he admitted that his previous had moments where it got him to be like, “Ooh that was good.” 50 also goes to say that despite the structure of the songs against him not being that well executed, the bars were just that good in his eyes.

Vote Or Else Initiative Town Hall Meeting Takes Over Atlanta

It was a day of civic engagement, community outreach and fellowship on Friday in Atlanta as Killer Mike welcomed an array of rappers, actors and athletes to his old neighborhood. The multi-time Grammy award winner once again teamed up with the organizations Mobilize Justice, The AAPI Victory Fund, Working Families and SEIU  to galvanize people to go and vote.

In the early part of the day, Mike was joined by Marvin Bing Founder and Leader of Mobilize Justice, and his band of luminaries Beanie Sigel, Jadakiss, Blacc Sam, Jorge “JP” Peniche of The Marathon, Jadakiss, Tamika Mallory, Latoya Tonodeo from “Power Book II: Ghost,” Smoke DZA and Wayno as they took to parts of ATL including the Camelot Projects. The collective went from door to door, talking to residents in an effort to encourage and excite people to vote in this historic and critical election, as well as to get educated about candidates running in state, and local Elections and then hit the polls on November 5.

Later that night, media personalities Angie Martinez and Ray Daniels moderated a Town Hall where most of the celebrity canvassers participated along with Dee-1, Benny The Butcher, Maurice “Moe” Mitchell of Working Families, International President of SEIU April Verrett, Founder and CEO of Onyx Impact Esosa Osa, Woody McCLain from “Power Book II: Ghost”, Isaac Keys, and J. Alphonse Nicholson plays Lil’ Murda in the hit Starz series “P-Valley”.

“We can really decide on what goes on in our own neighborhood,” Benny said about the urgency of voting. “What’s really happening in the fabric of America, we can make an impact and change on that. I’ve got mothers, daughterssisters, cousins, and it’s important… My daughter, she’s 19. I told her, ‘vote. Make sure you vote this year.’ This is her first time being able to vote. ‘Make sure you go do that and exerciseyour right to do that.”

Beanie Sigel who’s been canvassing and participating in town halls since this summer in cities such as Detroit, Chicago and Philadelphia, has been passionate about helping people get informed and to the polls.

“I always say, ‘the closest to the problem, are the closest to the solution,’’ Beanie Sigel told the people at the Town Hall, which took place at Atlanta’s Gathering Spot.

Sigel also reflected on speaking to a gaggle of kids at a neighborhood community hub called PawKids which focuses on enriching the neighborhood youth, health and education.

“I was one of those children,” Beanie added. “I talked with them. I didn’t talk to them. I didn’t talk at them. I talked with those kids. A lot of us talk at each other. But let’s talk with each other. One of my biggest records ,I say ‘Why I’m here? I go through it, so you wouldn’t do it after me.’ If I can’t teach these kids or anybody nothing else, I can teach them what not to do from the mistakes I made in my life. It’s never too late for change. So If I could do it, I encourage all of us to do it.”

“The past few months in particularly, we have turned up our efforts to focus on inner city, communities that often get neglected in mainstream campaigning, and targets sub cultures within the black community to get educated and engaged, registered to vote, and ultimately to vote,” says Marvin Bing. “You see my organization Mobilize Justice working with the AAPI Victory Fund, SEIU, Working Families and so many others. It’s a real concerted unified effort. The hip-hop community is also stepping up to educate everyone and get the neighborhoods involved. The OGs have been building with some of the younger entertainers and they are all sharing ideas, learning from one another and passing on the information to the community. Everyone has also been learning from some of the members of the community as well. The biggest take away is that everyone has a voice and everyone has power with their vote. We will be coming to more cities in these last few days before November 5, in an effort to get everyone involved.”

Jadakiss Had Field Trip Duty And His Exasperated School Bus Video Has Fans Feeling For Him

The term “dad rap” has been thrown around a bit too much for my taste when you consider how many rappers are actually dads. Yet, they still aren’t actually rapping about the actual day-to-day trials of fatherhood, such as ballet practice or field trip duty. But Jadakiss, who is best known for cutthroat anthems like “Time’s Up” and “We Gonna Make It,” could probably write a decent EP about the latter after joining his kids’ class trip and posting about it on social media.

‘Kiss posted a video of himself on the school bus looking wearily resigned as dozens of enthusiastic tweens sang the lyrics to “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from Mary Poppins, and after seeing his expression, fans couldn’t help but make the video go viral as they related. Lots of rap fans who grew up on The LOX are now parents themselves, and it’s not hard to feel for him after so many of us have shared in the same experience.

“Why is Jadakiss as dad as it gets?” one fan wrote on Twitter, borrowing the cadence from one of the rapper’s 2000s hits, “Why?” “Why is the bus ride designed to keep the parents upset?” “Dad chaperone Jadakiss might be the dopest Kiss,” wrote another fan. Still, some came to the rap vet’s defense, noting, “People talking about Jadakiss like he’s a retired old man. He’s an active father on a field trip with his kids. You know, being an available & active parent. Not some old rapper doing side quest.”

While Jada was out chaperoning his twin 10-year-olds, though, his eldest son Jae’Won is carving out his own rap legacy with some help from his pops. So, yeah, let’s hear some actual dad raps — raps about being a dad — and doing a darn good job — on Jada’s next LP.

Jadakiss Replaces Diddy On AI Remix Of “All About the Benjamins”

Screenshot 2024 06 28 at 1.10.40 AM

DIddy and his entire legacy has definitely suffered a severe beating since federal agents raided his L.A., NYC and Miami mansions and the video of him viciously beating went public. Now, one of his most classic hits has been hijacked with L.O.X. MVP Jadakiss’ voice, courtesy of a HOT 97 DJ. That’s my word.

An AI remix of the epic “All About The Benjamins” was made by DJ Cipha Sounds, which features the “So Rapsy” voice of Jada leading off the motivational track, which originally has the Bad Boy founder and CEO at the top of the order on the 2002 Deric “D-Dot” Angelettie-produced smash.

Juelz Santana Drops New Single “Party N Bullshit” Featuring Jadakiss

Juelz Santana Drops New Single "Party N Bullshit" Featuring Jadakiss

In preparation for his forthcoming album Better Late Than Never, New York’s own Juelz Santana enlists Jadakiss (@Therealkiss) for the R2DaEz & Duke Dollas-produced anthem “Party N Bullshit.” Accompanied by a new music video directed by Andre “DreVinci” Jones, the latest drop from the Harlem MC serves as the first official single on his new body of work. The track finds Santana trading bars with his Verzuz adversary while paying homage to Notorious B.I.G.’s 1993 classic cut “Party and Bullshit.”

When asked about what it was like creating the song with the LOX frontman in a press statement, Santana reveals

:”Collaborating with Jadakiss was natural. We both bring different vibes to the table, and this record reflects that synergy. The vibe in the studio was crazy that day. We were both vibing off each other’s energy, bouncing ideas back and forth. Kiss brought that classic, raw lyricism, and I added my own flavor with the flow. It was all about capturing that essence of having a good time while still keeping it authentic.”

As one of the founding members of the legendary Hip-Hop group Diplomats, Juelz Santana has been in the spotlight since 2002. He was featured on major hit records by Cam’ron such as “Oh Boy” and “Hey Ma” and appeared on Chris Brown’s hit “Run It.” His career was on a meteoric rise, with a signing to Def Jam and a much-rumored joint project with Lil Wayne in the works. Despite label politics and jail time derailing his trajectory, Santana is back with new material and a renewed mindset, making it clear he doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon.

Juelz Santana & Jadakiss Rep NY With Eerie Banger “Party N Bulls***”

Juelz Santana, for the last four years, has been pretty elusive. New music is a rarity from him these days, but things could be doing a 180 very soon. The Harlem, New York rapper could be working toward a new album for this year, and one of the main reasons why we have this hunch is his output lately. Just a few weeks ago, he put out “Score”, a simple yet effective NY drill cut ideal for when you to get locked in before a big game. Now, Juelz Santana has returned once more, this time bringing Jadakiss along, for “Party N Bulls***”.

Another factor playing into our LP prediction are the hashtags he has included frequently. “#BetterLateThenNever” was on his Instagram post for “Score”, as well as “Party N Bulls***”. Could this be the title for Juelz’s tape? One can only hope for now, but we are enjoying his much-needed return for now. On this single, him and Jadakiss both are rapping with hunger and confidence. “You just a palm boy, me, I got King’s Disease / Boys can’t compete with me, I’m too elite, you see / I’m a big stepper, don’t end up beneath my feet“. On top of the sticky one liners, the instrumental is also winner. Again, it is shaking things up, but the eerie piano keys and dark tone sell the intimidation aspect of “Party N Bulls***”.
