Erica Mena Claims She Will Move Her Children Out Of The US

Since the conflict between Israel and Palestine broke out last month many celebrities have taken to social media with their thoughts. For some artists, like Justin Bieber, that’s blown up in their face in embarrassing ways. Others have found their statements generating controversy for defending either side of the conflict. Earlier today, Selena Gomez announced that her Rare Beauty company will be donating to Palestinian aid organizations.

Now, Erica Mena is weighing in on not just the conflict but the status of America as a whole. “Moving out of the US is absolutely the plan for my kids and I. I promise this. And you know I always keep my promises,” she said in a tweet overnight. That wasn’t all she had to say either as she explained her motivations further in a follow-up tweet. “Using out money to kill babies and children! This country can’t provide free healthcare but the country they are funding to kill babies can. Disgusting!!!” Mena said. Check out her full statement below.

In the comments, fans largely take Erica’s side. “They got money for war, but can’t feed the poor,” the top comment on the post reads. It’s a quote from Tupac that many have found continues to ring surprisingly true even decades after his death. Others in the comments agree. “Not wrong. America will never be a proper country, it was built on a foundation of savagery and lies,” another top response reads. This isn’t the first time Mena has spoken on the conflict. Last month she described it as “literally a genocide.”

Kehlani Supports Palestine, Slams Peers For Silence Amid Israel-Hamas War

Recently, Kehlani took to social media to share her thoughts on her peers not speaking out about the Israel-Hamas war. She’s shared various messages of support for the people of Palestine amid the crisis, and thinks other artists need to do the same. According to her, they’re staying silent in order to retain their fanbases, and in turn maximize their earnings.

“To my peers and people that are in the spaces I’m in, what the f*ck is wrong with y’all?” she asks in a new clip. “You’re being silent for the sake of money and business, like that amounts to what the fuck is going on? There’s an insane amount of unchecked privilege on literal f*cking display and it is gut-wrenching. It is disgusting. People have reached out to me like, ‘oh you might want to be quiet…’ Do y’all hear yourselves? Have you looked at yourself in the mirror today and been like ‘am I a decent f*cking human being?’ Like, I am off-put. Get real.”

Kehlani “Disgusted” With Her Peers’ “Unchecked Privilege”

Recently, DJ Vlad condemned Drake and DJ Khaled for staying silent amid the conflict, despite being Jewish and Palestinian. “It’s because both are so thirsty to maintain their relevance that they wouldn’t dare risk insulting a segment of their fanbase,” he claimed.

“Heaven forbid that Drake might debut at #2 behind Taylor Swift because some of his Palestinian fans chose to not stream his album. And it would be the end of the world if Khaled sold a few less sneakers because some Jewish people decided not to buy his Jordans. “It’s not like Drake is too busy. He’s been writing paragraphs about Joe Budden hurting his feelings about his new album. DJ Khaled has been working overtime promoting his new Jordan sneakers. But both of them have been silent on this topic. Tragedy Strikes Israeli Electronic Music Festival Amid Regional Conflict

A cloud of tragedy descended upon the Israeli electronic music scene. An attack unfolded at an outdoor electronic music festival near the Gaza Strip. These attacks occurred over the weekend amidst ongoing conflict between Hamas militant group and Israel. Universo Paralello, known for its vibrant celebration of electronic music, turned into a scene of chaos and devastation. The region has been grappling with the consequences of the attack. CNN reported that at least 260 people lost their lives in the wake of a Hamas attack on the festival, sending shockwaves through the nation. Additionally, an undisclosed number of festival attendees appeared to have been reportedly taken hostage Hamas operatives. This adds to the gravity of the situation.

Moreover, the festival’s organizers, Universo Paralello and Tribe of Nova production team released a statement. They expressed their deep shock and sorrow. “Universo Paralello and Tribe of Nova production team are stunned and in pain,” the statement read. “We reinforced and shared the grief of the families of the missing.
