Tina Knowles Fires Back At Candace Owens For Spreading False Beyonce Rumor

Tina Knowles fired back at Candace Owens after the far-right political commentator accused her daughter, Beyonce, of taking $10 million in exchange for her endorsement of Kamala Harris in the 2024 Presidential Election. Owens made the accusation in a video on Instagram, which has since received a “False Information” warning from third-party fact-checkers.

Knowles wrote: “So this has been flagged on Instagram as fake news and taken down. It’s called False Information. Sadly, other platforms with a lack of integrity still have it up. The lie is that Beyoncé was paid 10 million dollars to speak at a rally in Houston for Vice President Kamala Harris. When in fact, Beyoncé did not receive a penny for speaking at a Presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris’s rally in Houston,” Knowles wrote.

Christian “King” Combs has been dealing with the scandal of his father Diddy’s federal alleged sex trafficking case, but his social media presence can also turn more wholesome. Moreover, he recently took to his Instagram page on Friday (November 15) to post a heartening and sincere tribute to his late mother Kim Porter, who tragically passed away due to pneumonia six years ago. King shared some clips of the two of them together plus some sweet pictures in addition to a heartfelt and heart-breaking caption. Even though the Combs family faces a lot of uphill battles, tough conversations, and intense media scrutiny these days, they recognize the importance of maintaining a united family in remembrance of those they’ve lost.

Meanwhile, King Combs’ tribute to Kim Porter comes amid federal prosecutors’ accusations that Diddy is trying to manipulate witnesses and jurors in his case. Allegedly, he’s called his family members to organize a positive social media campaign for his birthday and to reach out to alleged victims and potential witnesses to sway the trial in his favor. Of course, these are all just allegations at the end of the day that everyone should take with a grain of salt until the trial develops further.

Quincy Brown Shades Biological Father Al B. Sure Amidst Diddy Drama

Quincy Brown’s relationship with his biological father has been well-documented. The actor and singer has spent most of his life with Diddy as his father figure, which has been maintained in light of the recent accusations leveled at the mogul. Quincy is standing by Diddy, and has even appeared in court to show his support. Amidst all the Diddy drama, however, Quincy took time out to do two things. He paid tribute to his late mother and he shaded his biological father in the same Instagram post.

Quincy Brown posted a throwback photo on November 15. The actor can be seen next to his mother, Kim Porter, while sitting in a toy car. “I miss you every day,” he wrote next to a heart emoji. The sincerity of the post checks out, especially with regards to Porter. It was the mention of Al B. Sure, however, that turned the heads of fans. The first part of the caption reads: “Here’s a rare photo of my with my mom and dad.” Seemingly harmless, until one realizes that Al B. Sure is nowhere to be found in the pic. The tensions between Quincy Brown and Al B. Sure have been particularly high in 2024. In January, Al B. Sure! posted a cryptic message on Instagram alluding to Diddy’s parenting. “Nothing breaks a dad more than seeing his love for his kids turned into a weapon against him,” he wrote. The comment section then filled with users criticizing Sure for being a bad father himself. It probably didn’t help that Quincy Brown wrote an open letter to the singer, criticizing him for being an absentee father, in 2019.

Despite these issues, Quincy Brown claims that he’s still in touch with his biological father. He spoke on their relationship during a recent appearance on the Lip Service with Angela Yee podcast. “He tends to, like, try and do, like, the ‘dad thing’ a lot,” Brown admitted. “But it’s like that’s not really where we’re at in life. Like, we homies more than anything.” Al B. Sure is not endearing himself to his son through Diddy, that’s for certain. The singer implied that the Bad Boy mogul was responsible for putting him in a coma back in 2022.

Rihanna has taken a significant hand in the promotion of her Savage Fenty brand. She’s appeared in several ads herself, and has promoted the brand at length on her social media accounts. Her latest Fenty ad might be her most notable yet, though. Rihanna slipped into lingerie to promote her new Lavish Lace campaign, and she decided to do so while playing a tune at the piano. The photos from the ad would have been more than enough to garner attention, but behind the scenes footage from the Fenty shoot has made its way online.

Rihanna mostly poses behind the piano, but she does tickle the ivories at the few crucial points during the shoot. She looks predictably spectacular, decked out in all yellow lingerie. Given the musical nature of the Lavish Lace ad, however, there were fans who took to the comment section to ask for an update on Rihanna’s upcoming album. The pop superstar has been teasing the release of R9 since she last put out music in 2016. The last notable update we got from Rihanna was in June. She told ET Online that she plans to scrap the music she already had.

Raekwon Tributes Ol’ Dirty Bastard On 20th Anniversary Of His Death

Raekwon and Ol’ Dirty Bastard are two of the most beloved and iconic members of the Wu-Tang Clan. Both rappers dropped classic debuts in 1995. Despite their singular styles, managed to cross over and collab with other legendary artists. Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s tragic death in 2004 rocked Wu-Tang Clan to its core, and Raekwon took to Instagram on November 13 to pay his respects to the “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” rapper.

Raekwon posted a singular photo of Ol’ Dirty Bastard performing next to a lengthy message. “Miss you beloved,” he wrote. “Today marks 20 years you been gone and it’s not a day that goes by we don’t miss feeling your presence in the world.” Raekwon, who appeared on Ol’ Dirty’s classic 1995 song “Raw Hide,” also announced plans to tribute the rapper in Newark, New York. “At my grand opening in Newark’s very own @hashstoria location,” Rae explained. “We will be doing a tribute to your legacy by playing ya music throughout the day.” The Chef concluded his statement by noting how important Ol’ Dirty Bastard was to the success of Wu-Tang overall.

The rapper’s classic 2009 sequel Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Pt. 2 had a standout cut named after Ol’ Dirty: “Ason Jones.” “The first dude to say, ‘Yo, keep it real,’” Rae rapped on the song. “Yeah, the lover, the father, the hustler, the rap professor. Now, he with Allah, that’s a blessing.” A sample of O.D.B. talking is included at the end of the song.

Raekwon also came together with the rest of Wu-Tang to tribute Ol’ Dirty Bastard in 2005. O.D.B.’s old recordings were repurposed for the posthumous album A Son Unique. Rae was among the artists who appeared on the tracklist. He appeared on the posse cut “Intoxicated” and the single “I Go Through Life” alongside the rest of the Wu-Tang Clan. Raekwon is currently working on his eighth studio album.

Jack Harlow Reveals Unexpected Pick For Favorite Rap Group Of All Time

Jack Harlow loves hip hop. It’s become easy to pile on the “First Class” rapper for his pop-friendly approach, but he has spoken at length about the artists he listened to growing up and the passion he has for the genre. Jackman, his last album, was a testament to this. It should then come as no surprise that he would be willing to talk hip hop via social media. Jack Harlow played ten questions on Instagram on November 13, and one fan inquired about his favorite hip hop group. His answer was not at all what we expected.

The question had some easy candidates build in as potential answers. “Most legendary rap group,” the fan asked. “Between Wu-Tang, Dipset and A$AP Mob? Can only pick one.” Jack Harlow responded with a very concise and very surprising answer. He posted a photo of YBN Cordae and YBN Nahmir and wrote back: “Try again.” There you have it. Jack Harlow’s favorite rap group is YBN, which ran from 2014-2020 and released only one collaborative album. You’d be hard-pressed to find a hip hop fan who would put the YNB crew in the same company as say, Wu-Tang Clan or A$AP Mob, but we have to hand it to Jack Harlow for taking a left turn.

Jack Harlow has never worked with Nahmir, but he has gotten on a record with Cordae. In fact, he was able to rap alongside Cordae and a mutual hero of theirs, Eminem on the remix to “Killer.” Harlow gushed about the opportunity to collaborate with such notable talents during a 2021 interview with Billboard. “He gave me a lot of props that any artist would love to get,” Harlow said regarding Em. “Sometimes, the best gem is just somebody you admire, letting you know who you think you are. He let me know, ‘You’re that.’”

Jack Harlow’s endorsement could not have come at a better time for Cordae. The former YBN member is dropping his third studio album, The Crossroads, on November 15. The album will feature several rappers that Harlow has collaborated with in the past, including Lil Wayne and Kanye West. Cordae recently made headlines for asserting that he doesn’t “give one f*ck” about first week album sales, as well. Harlow, on the other hand, claimed that he has some “special sh*t” on the way during a recent Brooklyn concert.

Kehlani Clarifies Remarks About Her Child Being “Her Wife” In A Past Life

Kehlani came under fire, and understandably so, on November 13. The singer was accused of making discomforting comments about her daughter in court documents filed by her ex. She allegedly stated that her daughter was actually her “wife” in a past life, which led to widespread concern over whether Kehlani was engaged in an inappropriate relationship with her daughter. The singer decided to take to Instagram Wednesday evening to set the record straight.

Kehlani posted a lengthy, multi-part message on Instagram. She acknowledged the rumors that have been swirling about her role as a parent. She made it very clear that she not take the comment about her daughter previously being “her wife” seriously. The singer explained that the concept came from a past life reading she had done, and found the comment regarding her daughter to be humorous. “I shared what I considered to be a lighthearted recap with my child’s father,” she asserted. “Laughing at it and considering it something light and not to be taken serious.”

Kehlani then accused her ex of taking their conversation out of context and framing it the worst light possible. She stated unequivocally that she has never been inappropriate with her daughter, who is five. “To make me seem like I consider myself to be in an inappropriate relationship with my daughter,” she singer wrote. “Is the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever f*cking heard.” The singer broadened the scope of her frustrations, and noted that she has been hit with numerous accusations in court over the last few months. The implication that she has been an abusive mother, however, proved to be a step too far.

The singer also included screenshots of the text conversation from which the allegations originated. 50 Cent is hip hop’s most consistent troll. Other rappers have been more annoying, or more aggressive, but 50 has been doing it for longer than some of his genre peers have been alive. And he decided to take aim at another New York legend on November 12. 50 Cent posted a video of Busta Rhymes in which the latter’s hairstyle was pretty questionable. The video sees Busta sporting too much Bigen enhancement dye powder, and the “In da Club” rapper absolutely roasted him for it.

“Yo n**gas out of line, yo,” 50 Cent can be heard saying in the video. “How they let the n**gas Busta paint his whole head like that?” He doubled down on the Instagram caption, tagging some of Busta’s peers and calling them out for not alerting the rapper to his hair situation. “I think @fatjoe, Khaled and Tyson need to intervene here,” 50 Cent added. “Lol WTF.” The video is admittedly hilarious, and 50 doubled down by posting a photoshopped image of Fat Joe and DJ Khaled’s faces on hair products. Busta Rhymes did not take things lying down, though. He decided to fire back with some jokes of his own.

Busta posted a photo of 50 Cent rocking a pretty questionable hairstyle of his own. He found a rare photo of the G-Unit founder without his trademark fade, and proceeded to tee off in the caption. “What the f*ck in a 100 jars of TCB gel type sh*t is this my n**ga,” he wrote. “50 c’mon man. By the way fif, this sh*t look like ya jerry curl stink too bruddah!!.” Fair game. The jabs were thrown on both sides, and it all seemed to be in good fun. 50 being 50, though, kept it going. The rapper decided to post another photo of Busta Rhymes with TV producer Mona Scott-Young.
