Ashanti Pumps Breast Milk While Getting A Pump In At The Gym

Ashanti and Nelly have been officially parents since July 18, 2024, and they broke the news nearly a month later. The musical couple tied the knot, pretty discretely, on December 27, 2023, so they didn’t waste too much time with that endeavor. The bundle of joy’s name is Kareem Kenkaide Haynes, and she made the pregnancy announcement late last year. “This new year of my life is such a blessing full of love, hope and anticipation. Motherhood is something that I have looked forward to, and sharing this with my family, fiancé and loyal fans, who have been so supportive of my career, is an amazing experience”.

Due to her and Nelly’s decade-long past, fans and their loved ones have been so happy to see them flourish now as a family. Ashanti’s father was one of those people, as he expressed how thankful he was for Nelly asking for permission to marry his daughter. “For me, it’s very special for a man in this era to ask for someone’s hand [in marriage], especially your daughter’s. I was very impressed with the fact that you asked. I’m glad things worked out for you. God’s way will always happen best”. Even though the initial excitement has passed, Ashanti has remained thankful, regardless of the postpartum, and everything that comes with it.

According to AllHipHop, Ashanti shared some brief clips to her IG Story with her tackling the StairMaster and pumping breast milk for baby Kareem. “By any means necessary”, she said with the caption, “F it … ima just keep em on ”. She then followed that up with some videos of her doing her various exercises. If this woman doesn’t get Mother of the Year, who should?!

Drake Backtracks After Teasing Round 2 With Kendrick Lamar

Drake may have been the one to label the Kendrick Lamar battle as “good exercise” and step away from their back-and-forth, but he apparently is still itching for another round. Moreover, a lot of his new “100 GIGS” material, whether its tracks or its footage, is about his place in the rap game amid his many beefs this year. Not only that, but Drizzy’s social media activity via his @plottttwistttttt IG burner also indicate that he’s feeling quite boastful and confident. In fact, he posted a Story of Rasheed Wallace proclaiming: “We will win Game 2,” which obviously sent many fans into a frenzy. Even DJ Akademiks tweeted the same thing this morning (Monday, August 26).

However, it seems like Drake only wanted to make this bold prediction for just a little bit, as he deleted this Instagram Story quickly. As such, Kendrick Lamar fans and OVO supporters alike are now theorizing as to what he could be leading up to. As for the latter group, they think that the 6ix God will eventually release footage of him “plotting for a week and feeding the information” to K.Dot during their battle, which he claimed on “The Heart Part 6.” Another theory is that this isn’t literally about a second round, but rather about him rising above his many rap rivals and still seeing massive success despite their efforts.

Drake’s Since-Deleted Boast About “Winning Game 2”

Either way, it looks like Drake doesn’t want to boast about this “Game 2” any further, but the message was already clear. As far as other “100 GIGS”-related content, he also has been dropping some previously released videos as new footage. These include of Kanye West at OVO Fest 2013, plus Aubrey and J. Cole buying CDs of Born Sinner upon its release that year.

Meanwhile, there are also rumors that Kendrick Lamar will drop something very soon, but it’s anyone’s guess as to whether it will have anything to do with Drake. Some fans think that he’ll be more than happy to engage again, especially if his sworn enemy is on a high horse online right now, albeit a since-deleted one. Others doubt that the Compton lyricist will pick the carcass apart again, and argue that silence speaks volumes. We will see…

Kodak Black Delivers Heartwrenching Message About Loneliness

Kodak Black has certainly been going through a lot. How much of that is self-inflicted is up for debate, though. You could contribute a lot of the Pompano Beach, Florida rapper’s setbacks to his nagging addiction to drugs. However, earlier this year, the “ZEZE” MC did say that he was getting his life back on track. “I ain’t even going to say I’m anti-Perc. Like, I never took a Perc since I been home. But bro, my dosage so low that I can’t believe it myself. Man, I’m telling y’all, bro”. People started to recognize that he was looking healthier, especially women with some even labeling him “fine”.

However, there have also been a few instances this year where’s he seemed to revert back to his vices. In fact, it was just a few weeks ago that a video of him went viral in which he felt like he was “finna glitch”. Before blurring out his hand and face, he did appear to swallow a handful of pills on an IG Live session. The reason we are rehashing all of this is because Kodak Black seems to be down in the dumps right now. According to a post of a screenshot from DJ Akademiks, Black seemed to have to come to a harsh reality.

“Now I understand nobody give af about me if I ain’t paying Lonely af out here bro”. There isn’t a real indicator of who or what he’s referring to. However, he could be talking about how hard it is to find a life partner in his profession. Or he could be talking about finding a real circle of friends who will support him because they want to. No matter how you slice it, it’s a pretty saddening message and we hope Kodak is doing okay. Fans of course have mixed reactions. Some were more harsh on the hitmaker, “You seen yourself homie? Lol that’s why ”. Others were keeping it real, “That’s the industry 4 u!!!! Everything is transactional ”. And a handful were showing Kodak love, “Don’t let them slow you down. Drop the weight and go harder. You was moving with a waited best before. Now you free.”

Drake Demands Gordo To Give Him His Proper Credit

Over the weekend, Drake and producer Gordo (formerly Carnage), teamed up on multiple occasions for the latter’s debut album under his new name, DIAMANTE. You can hear them together on the closer, “Healing”, as well as track two, “Sideways”. Both see Drizzy crossover into the dance genre, something that he has done a few times throughout his career. Each of them are very groovy and danceable cuts for the late summer nights. Fairly predictably, their collaborations are amongst the most streamed on the record so far. Yes, despite Drake being the jester of the rap world at the moment, he is still drawing plenty of ears to anything he’s attached to.

“Healing” and “Sideways” are the first collaborations between the two, and we can only imagine that him and Gordo would team up again down the road. Or, will they? Just a few hours ago, Drake took to his Instagram Story to share something pretty shocking. According to the rapper, he had a third “collaboration” with the American-Nicaraguan beat maker. “Cafecito”, currently the most played song on DIAMANTE, should have Drake’s name under the production credits.

Drake Claims “It’s All Good” With Gordo

If you check out the Genius page for the record, his name is in fact nowhere to be found. So, Drake decided to call out Gordo saying, “I made this beat with you but it’s all good… @gordoszn”. This is classic passive-aggressive behavior from the Canadian superstar, something that he displays on social media whenever he’s feeling some type of way. If this is true, that is pretty surprising, considering the aforementioned songs they have together on the record. Gordo has yet to respond, and it will be interesting to see what comes of this.

YSL Woody Gets Confronted By Fan Who Stalked His IG Stories: Watch

YSL Woody has gained a lot of notoriety in recent years. The YSL affiliate isn’t a famous rapper, like his boss, Young Thug, but he’s proved to be a crucial part of the YSL RICO case. Most fans will have heard the name Kenneth Copeland, not realizing that he goes by the name “Woody,” or “Lil Woody.” He’s been described as the “star” witness against Thugger and the rest of the YSL organization in the ongoing trial. Based on a recent encounter with a fan, however, YSL Woody might want to be a bit more mindful of his surroundings.

The incident took place on July 25. YSL Woody was making a phone call when said woman walked up on him and began recording their interaction. Understandably, YSL Woody is freaked out. He asks how the woman knew where he was. She then reveals that she’s been tracking his Instagram Stories throughout the day. Not only that, but the woman drove two hours to confront him. “I was riding around looking for you,” the woman tells YSL Woody in the video. The “star” witness can’t believe it. He proceeds to rant about the interaction to the person on the phone.

YSL Woody has made it clear that he will cooperate with the law. On July 3, Atlanta courts released a transcript of Woody’s conversation with the prosecution. In it, he voices his desire to avoid severe legal punishment. “I got family members watching this trial,” he explained. “I don’t want my nephew and them to hear the things that I may be involved in.” He also asserted that he was being honest with the prosecution. “I have never been truthful a day in my life until I just made this statement right now,” he claimed.

YSL Woody had a long rap sheet prior to his involvement in the YSL case. He was sentenced to federal prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm in 2018. He was arrested again in 2021, after a traffic stop in which a weapon was found on his person. A three hour interrogation video leaked in February, in which Woody alludes to betraying someone close to him. Many interpret the person to be Young Thug. “This n**ga here so smart, he moving different,” Woody told police. “It’s hard to keep up with how he moving. He’s not moving how he used to move … but he wants this n**ga so bad that he’s been reckless.”

Drake Roasted Into Oblivion For His Latest Batch Of Instagram Story Photos

Drake is one of those artists who gets scrutinized for everything he does. Overall, this has been especially true as of late thanks to the outcome of his beef with none other than Kendrick Lamar. Had he won the feud, the noise around him would be a lot less loud. However, he lost handily, so fans have been giving him more flack than ever before. Drizzy could simply go out for a meal and the internet would criticize him for his order and choice of restaurant.

That said, fans want to hear from him right now. With Kendrick Lamar taking a prolonged victory lap, there is this sense that Drake is being too quiet. Sure, he has been dropping some features here and there, but he hasn’t exactly addressed what took place. Last night, Drizzy took to his Instagram story with a couple of snapshots. In one, he is walking down the stairs and in the other, he is sipping coffee and looking at the camera. Once again, this attracted a roast session in the comments section over on Akademiks’ page.

“Imagine setting up a camera or having someone stand at the top of your stairs as you walk down with a cold cup of coffee or tea just to take this picture,” one person wrote. “Then to make it worse imagine the amount of time he had to go up & down the stares to retake the picture to get this one picture.” Fans continued to go in on the artist, with one saying “Damn drake really got no family that mansion empty as fuck.” Needless to say, even the most innocuous things will bring out the Drake hate brigade.

Drake Posts Fried Rice On Instagram & Subtly Jabs At Kendrick Lamar’s “New Ho King” Line

When will this godforsaken beef end? With every new Instagram post, rumor, Discord message, Reddit thread, and Twitter discussion, it seems like fans can’t get enough of Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s battle, and might even think that there’s more on the way. Well, neither artist is really helping to disprove any of these theories: K.Dot united the West Coast and called his opponent a PDF file downloader about five times in a row, and Drizzy is always happy to troll. Moreover, his latest IG Story post got fans buzzing, and fried rice has never been more of a charged dish to order.

You read that right: Drake just posted some fried rice (and perhaps some dip sauce) he was enjoying, and fans couldn’t help but link this to the Chinese restaurant New Ho King in Toronto. Of course, you likely remember this Kenny bar off of his 6ix God diss “euphoria”: “I be at New Ho King eating fried rice with a dip sauce and a blammy, crodie.” In fact, this restaurant introduced “the Kendrick Lamar special,” as many fans are calling it, and experienced a big boom in business following these diss tracks. The Compton lyricist even included a depiction of this dish in one of his T-shirts sold at his “Pop Out” concert in Los Angeles.

Furthermore, it’s clear that both Kendrick Lamar and Drake are very happy to stretch this whole thing out and reference it for engagement of any fashion. We can’t really blame them, though, as it’s been such a massive and likely profitable event for both. But Aubrey Graham is one petty guy, or at least, that’s what much of his post-beef social media presence indicates. This is far from the first time that one of his online posts was interpreted as a not-so-subtle shot.

Still, the question remains: what does Drake want to achieve with this post, and what message does he want to send? Is he gearing up for a round two with more diss tracks in the tuck, even as his summery new Camila Cabello collabs get love from unexpected places? Does he want to take pride in the attacks that his opponent had for him? Or… is it just a troll?

Playboi Carti Seems To Shoot His Shot With Yung Miami By Posting Her On His IG Story

It seems like Playboi Carti is back outside, as he recently took to his Instagram Story with an odd and tantalizing post that has many fans scratching their heads. Moreover, new album hype is once again on the cards following an explosive Summer Smash headlining set and many prior weeks of radio silence. But the Atlanta rapper didn’t provide any update on this: just an Instagram repost of Yung Miami’s latest post that features the femcee sitting in pink. It’s unclear whether this is a cryptic hint at something to come or whether he’s just shooting his shot with the former City Girl.

Furthermore, it’s the latter possibility of this Playboi Carti shoutout that interests some fans out there thanks to Yung Miami’s previous relationship with Diddy. That obviously took a big pause as a result of the multiple lawsuits against the Bad Boy mogul for alleged sexual harassment, abuse, and sex trafficking, claims that even roped Caresha in, too. As such, this takes on a bit more of a scandalous connotation, but it’s obviously nothing to write home about other than a simple random IG repost. After all, it seems like the Puff connection is nothing more than an unfortunate coincidence at press time, something that more legal scrutiny and case development could potentially change.

Elsewhere, Playboi Carti’s last rap-related link-up or reference point was his time with NAV in the club back in April of this year. We don’t really know what his relationships and connections look like in the rap world, especially outside of his collaborative circle. Beyond “King Vamp,” it’s always interesting to guess at what artists are like with each other from the outside looking in. It’s a futile and often misguided effort, but a curious one nonetheless.

As for Yung Miami, she and JT are no longer the City Girls, but they both appear on Camila Cabello’s upcoming album. Many fans wondered why they appeared separately on the album’s tracklist, hinting that they will no longer use the duo’s moniker even in collaboration. Hopefully they continue to make music together, with or without that name. We’ll see as well whether or not Playboi Carti and the Florida multi-hyphenate collaborate or what this repost could possibly mean.

With the song disappearing from his Instagram it feels like he’s confirming that the beef is over and moving on to new things.

That’s when he took to his Instagram story with a new post. Drake shared a picture of himself on the basketball court with some friends with the caption “Members.” He’s no stranger to the basketball court, regularly sharing photos and videos of his practices. He’s been busy recently with the Kendrick Lamar beef and a recent team-up with Sexyy Red. Now many fans are wondering if he may take the extended break from music that he originally promised after dropping For All The Dogs last year. DDG Reveals His Exorbitant Feature Price

DDG revealed a massive feature price in DMs with a fan shared on his Instagram Story, on Tuesday. When asked for the cost to collaborate with him, DDG claimed he charges $75,000 for a feature alone and $1,000,000 for a music video appearance as well. He told the fan to have their CashApp ready. While screenshotting the interaction and putting on his story, DDG added: “Just in case yall was wondering my feature price.. I take venmo and apple pay too.”

In response to the DMs, several users on DJ Akademiks’ Instagram page had jokes for the new father. “That’s exactly why we ain’t heard him rap this year,” one user wrote. Another added: “Just stay On the Tube bra cause ain’t nobody paying that for no damn DDG let’s be real.”

It’s not the first time DDG has discussed his finances. Speaking with The Shade Room back in April, he hinted about his monthly salary. “I’m going to give you a wide range. I don’t want people to pocket-watch too crazy. On a low month, I’ll pull in a little hundred piece [$100,000]. On a high month, we can go anywhere from five [$500,000] and up,” he told the outlet. “I work very hard. A lot of people don’t give me credit for what I do, but being relevant in the space that I’m in for as long as I have, a lot of people look at me as an OG. Even though I’m 26, but I’ve been doing it since I was 19. I inspired a lot of the new creators that we are seeing now.”
