Deshaun Watson Speaks On Season-Ending Injury

Deshaun Watson has expressed his shock and sadness that his 2023 season is over after learning he needs surgery to repair a fracture in his throwing shoulder. “It’s very tough. Hurt about it. I’m still in disbelief. I’m still trying to process all the information. I felt like we were turning a corner to really make a run and still believe we still will with the guys in this locker room. I just wanted to physically be a part of it. … It’s tough to try to wrap everything around my head right now,” Watson told reporters at the Browns facility earlier today.

Watson reportedly sustained the injury in the first half of the Browns game against the Ravens last weekend. However, the 28-year-old remained in the game, which was also arguably his best performance since signing with Cleveland. However, injuries have marred Watson’s entire 2023 campaign. He missed four games earlier in the season due to a rotator cuff strain. In the six games he did play, he threw for 1115 yards and 7 touchdowns. His numbers are almost equivalent to his output across the six games he played last season. Overall, it puts an end to what was meant to be Watson’s redemption season after starting his Browns career on an 11-game suspension after being accused of sexual harassment and assault by over 20 women.

Browns Turn Rookie Thompson-Robinson

Elsewhere, the Browns confirmed that rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson would be the team’s starting quarterback against the Steelers this weekend. After a promising preseason, the UCLA rookie was thrust into his first career start in week four after Watson suffered an injury in pre-game warmups. He threw for 121 yards on 19-for-36 passing and threw three interceptions as the Ravens steamrolled the Browns. However, the team believes in Thompson Robinson. “I want to give him a week where he knows he’s the starter and gets a full week of preparation,” head coach Kevin Stefanski explained.

Thompson-Robinson starts over PJ Walker, the Browns’ primary backup who has started two of Watson’s missed games this season. Walker, who joined the Browns from Carolina in the offseason, has 618 yards, 1 touchdown, and 5 interceptions on the season so far. Kelly Oubre Jr. Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car

Philadelphia 76ers guard Kelly Oubre Jr. is in stable condition at the hospital after being struck by a car in Center City, Philadelphia on Saturday night. He was walking near his residence at the time of the incident. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, representatives from the team, including 76ers President Daryl Morey, are with the 27-year-old as of publishing.

While they expect him to miss significant time due to his injuries, they don’t believe his season is over. Further details on the extent of those injuries are unclear. In a statement on Twitter, the team confirmed: “We will share more information as it becomes available. Please join us in sending our best to Kelly And his family as he recovers from the incident.” In an email provided to the Associated Press, local police confirmed that there is an active investigation into the incident.

When Aaron Rodgers went down with his unfortunate achilles tear everyone thought that the New York Jets season was lost. Even after the highly maligned Zach Wilson stepped in and led them to a thrilling win over the division-rival Buffalo Bills, no one was convinced. However, the defense has been pretty much lights out and Zach has made some plays. This was good enough for them to go on a three-game winning streak. They did come back to earth against the Los Angeles Chargers last night, losing 27-6 and dropping to 4-4.

But, the season is still far from over for these Jets. They are in the thick of the playoff race. They are just a few spots behind the Cincinnati Bengals for the final wildcard spot. On top of that, multiple people have claimed that if they remain in the hunt, Rodgers would try to rush back and play. It would be quite a miracle, though. TMZ Sports says that the fastest anyone has recovered from an achilles tear was Minnesota Vikings running back Cam Akers. That took around five and a half months. But, Aaaron has been making serious progress and apparently, it could be in no time that we see him take the field.

Right after the game, the players ran to centerfield to chat. Two of those were Aaron and Chargers stud safety, Derwin James. He asked the injured quarterback when he would be coming back right away. Daniel Jones Suffers Season-Ending Torn ACL Injury, New York Giants Fall To 2-7

For most of this last decade, the New York Giants have been stuck in mediocrity. That was until just last season. Led by their number eight overall pick from 2019, Daniel Jones, they went 9-7-1 and nabbed a wild card spot. In fact, they even grabbed a fairly stunning victory against the Minnesota Vikings on the road. They would eventually fall to the Eagles in the Divisional Round. Nonetheless, it was still a successful season with their first-year head coach Brian Daboll. However, things have gone south for Jones and the Giants this season.

Somehow, Jones has regressed to an extent and they are now 2-7 on the year after falling to the Las Vegas Raiders who are also going nowhere. The final score was 30-6, and even though the visiting team still might not have won, it might have been closer if Jones played the whole way. Right at the beginning of the second quarter, the Duke product crumbled to the turf on a contactless injury.

Kai Cenat Prison Stream: Tee Grizzley Knocked Out After Running Into Wall

Things got a little serious on the final day of Kai Cenat’s prison livestream. During a brawl in the cafeteria, rapper Tee Grizzley sustained a head injury after running away from the fight. While retreating, Tee slipped and fell directly into a wall, going limp for several seconds. While he did appear to regain consciousness soon after, it was a pretty scare moment. As he was helped away, people pointed out that there was now a visible hole in the plaster where Tee had hit it. Furthermore, all the roleplaying stopped as people crowded around Tee to make sure he was okay.

NLE Choppa Gets Weird On Cenat Livestream

However, Tee’s injury wasn’t the first awkward moment for the livestream. In the first few days, there was a slightly uncomfortable moment featuring NLE Choppa. For some people, seemingly Cenat included, felt that Choppa took things a little too far. At one point in the stream, Choppa went full method acting. “Imma f-ck him. I’m not gonna let him play with my booty hole,” Choppa screamed as Cenat watched on in confusion. Later in the stream, Choppa made a big show of “dropping the soap” in the showers. Overall, Choppa got a little into one of the darker sides of the prison experience.

Elsewhere in the stream, the pair performed Nicki Minaj’s Drake collab “Moment 4 Life”. The 2010 hit, which peaked at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100, is about two childhood friends realizing they had “made it”. It’s something of a bizarre choice for a prison livestream but then again, a prison roleplay livestream is bizarre enough in and of itself.

50 Cent Injured Stunt Performer While Filming “Expendables 4”

50 Cent reportedly left his mark on the set of Expendables 4. The film’s stunt coordinator told Pop Culture about an incident in which Fif injured a stunt performer. “50 Cent is very powerful and strong, so he like a tank. He was actually so strong that in one of the scenes, he was supposed to barge into a stunt performer and his strength resulted in the guy going flying and dislocated his finger. The guy and his finger are ok now of course,” Alan Ng told the outlet.

Fif was one of several newcomers to the franchise, another of them being Megan Fox. However, Ng said that Fox was very easy to work with. “She has a very good foundation with her dance background and she picks up choreography very fast when rehearsing or when we made any change on set. We played to the fact that Megan has a strong dance background. Megan’s style is very agile, flexible, and fast.” Expendables 4 is currently in theatres.

However, Fif was not too happy before the film came out. The rapper took to Instagram to roast a badly edited promotional poster of his character, Easy Day. “WTF did we run out of money? Why my head look like it ain’t connected to my body,” Fif lamented. Furthermore, he argued that Sylvester Stallone’s poster was probably going to look far better than his.

Expendables 4 is set to serve as a passing of the torch. The first film in the franchise since 2014, it is set to be Stallone’s last. The intention, according to Stallone, is to transition Jason Statham into the lead role and continue the Expendables story with his character, Lee Christmas as the lead. The fate of Dolph Lundgren’s role in the franchise is also unknown. Lundgren revealed earlier this year that he has been battling kidney cancer for the last eight years. The film has been critically panned, although audiences have given it a good rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

50 Cent might face a lawsuit after striking a Power 106 host in the head with his microphone. The rapper’s The Final Lap tour stopped in Los Angeles, bringing out several guests from Nas to YG. Unfortunately, it wasn’t necessarily a great time for everyone. At one point in the show, the rapper tossed his microphone in the crowd, hitting Power 106 host Bryhana Monegain in the head. Photos emerged on The Neighborhood Talk’s Instagram that reveal the injuries Monegain sustained as a result of the mic toss.

One fan initially shed light on the incident on Twitter, writing, “50 Cent just threw his mic hard af and it hit a girl face and it was bloody he getting sueeed.” The footage reveals 50 Cent seemingly struggling with his microphone during YG’s performance. He handed one over to someone off-stage before tossing another mic. Then, the footage showed him hurling his microphone in the direction of the crowd. It’s unclear what prompted him to throw the microphone that hard but it wouldn’t be surprising if Monegain ends up taking him to court over the matter.

She continued. “Fast forward to mid pregnancy, my son has a heart condition and needs a cord blood transfusion but I’m not a direct match and Eli is. The doctors set up an appointment for him to give 30MLS – just fucking 30MLS of blood. This man refuses because I found he smashing a different woman in every city he went to RAW. Kevin Hart Injury Video Surfaces Online

Kevin Hart recently revealed that he is temporarily confined to a wheelchair after tearing several core muscles in recent weeks. “44 and sitting my ass down!!!!! I got to be the dumbest man alive!!!!! What the fuck am I doing???? I blew my shit….I’m done. FML,” Hart wrote on Instagram. However, Hart appeared humbled at the very least, stating that it was the stupidest thing he had done in his life. Furthermore, he went on to question why he had even tried, saying that he had been blinded by the desire to be the “fastest man at the BBQ.” He went on to say that the injury was a sign that he needed to “slow down” and “act his age.”

He later shared a more NSFW update about his condition. “It’s fucking bad. My dick looks like a thumb. Everything’s swollen,” Hart lamented in a follow-up video. Additionally, the comedian said that his “balls got big as hell” and that he is still currently unable to move his legs. Furthermore, he spoke on the state the injury has left him in. “Look at this shit,” he continued. “You know how long it takes me to get the fuck out of the car? I’m a mess.” While calling out his famous friends who have been clowning on him, Hart said he is looking at a six to week recovery time. It’s your classic sports injury. The video shows Hart running down a darkened residential street against Stevan Ridley, who played eight seasons in the NFL. Furthermore, at the 2011 combine, Ridley clocked a 4.65 40-yard dash. He was taken in the third round by the Patriots. As the two men race toward the camera, Hart pulls up early and hobbles through the final few yards of the race, clearly injured. Hart is well known for his dedication to fitness and this appears to simply be an unfortunate turn of events. Even the best athletes suffer injuries like this.
