Nia Long Seemingly Poses Nude For Instagram

Nia Long sent fans into a frenzy with her latest Instagram thirst trap. The You People actress posted from vacation in Japan and it has the internet in a chokehold. Aside from her wildly successful, long-lived career, Long is known for being absolutely stunning. In the words of JT, all she has to do is “post a pic and make ’em sick”…literally. Seemingly nude and according to her caption “in her element”, Nia Long has viewers in a daze, and rightfully so.

Nia has had a very busy past few months as she starred in two films released within days of the other. In January, You People debuted at #1 on Netflix, and Missing was also met with success. Back in September, news of her then-fiance Ime Udoka’s affair was made public and it reportedly had a “devastating impact” on her family. Needless to say, some downtime was needed and Nia long clearly took the opportunity to let her hair down. The post has racked up nearly 300 thousand likes and counting.

Nia Long Breaks The Internet

Since the Boyz n the Hood star’s break up, fans have been trying to figure out her relationship status. Dating rumors sparked after she was seen walking hand in hand with R&B singer Omarion at the premiere for “You People”. She quickly shut down speculations with a public disclaimer, “Everybody simmer down… I’m single AF”. She told The Cut that she currently has no interest in a serious relationship, despite the public interest. She said, “My mind is not even there at all. I want to go out and have amazing, important, deep, thoughtful conversations.”

As one user expressed in the comments, Nia is “the only reason to have an IG account today.” The love is loud and overflowing for the Fatal Affair star. What we have all known since the 90s still rings true, Nia Long is one of the most beautiful women of our time. As for a relationship, she just wants to “enjoy the moment”. She told The Cut, “For the last 22 years, I’ve been pouring out. But at a certain point, you’re like, Woo, I’m looking a little tired. Even if I can’t see it, I can feel it. So I try to pour into myself and let everyone know this is a ‘do not disturb’ period.”

Nia Long Admits Her Son, Kez, Is Having A “Really Tough Time”

Nia Long says that she and Ime Udoka’s son, Kez, is having a “really tough time” with his dad’s affair scandal. The Celtics famously suspended Udoka for the entirety of the 2022–23 season for violations of team policies. He reportedly had an improper intimate relationship with a female staff member of the organization. The team has since replaced him with Joe Mazzulla as head coach. Nia Long addressed how the scandal impacted her family during an interview with The Cut.

“My only focus right now is my youngest son ’cause he’s having a really tough time,” the actress said. “I’m sure I have some things that I’m suppressing, but I have to do that to take care of him first. That’s the giving. It’s natural.” She added: “I’m sure I’ll have to circle back with myself several times to reconcile things, but the one thing I’m trying not to harbor is anger.”

Later in the interview, Long called out the Celtics organization for choosing to make their business public knowledge. “The Celtics made a choice to make my family business public, and I don’t understand why,” she said. “It could’ve all been handled internally. I do understand why, but I can’t talk about it. Maybe one day I will. You know, fear drives stupidity, and I’ll leave that right there. I’ve learned that I’m stronger than I ever thought I was.”

Despite the drama, Nia Long says that the support she’s received from fans has helped her get through it. “It saved my mental well-being because I felt uplifted by the community in a way that felt like my family was checking in and making sure I was OK,” she shared. “And that, I appreciated.”

Udoka apologized after the incident became public. “I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team’s decision,” he said in a statement to ESPN. “Out of respect for everyone involved, I will have no further comment.” He’s yet to officially join another team.

Ime Udoka Reportedly Being Considered By This Team

Ime Udoka was definitely one of the best coaches in the entire NBA last season. Overall, in just his first season with the Celtics, he was able to take his team all the way to the NBA Finals. In the end, the Celtics were unable to get it done, although they were two games away from winning it all. Subsequently, Udoka was embroiled in a massive controversy. According to reports, he had a relationship with someone who worked for the team. Moreover, he was clowned on social media as he basically got called out for cheating on Nia Long.

Udoka was consequently suspended by the Celtics for an entire year. Since then, the Celtics have hired his replacement on a full-time basis. This basically means that Udoka is no longer with the team. However, throughout the year, there has been interest from other teams in regard to Udoka. In fact, one Eastern Conference team who just fired their head coach seems to be one of the more likely suitors to land Udoka. Albeit, a lot has to be worked out first.

Ime Udoka To The Hawks?

That team is none other than the Atlanta Hawks. According to Marc Stein, the team just fired Nate McMillan, and Udoka is someone who could certainly fill in for that role. He did a great job with a young Celtics team, and the even younger Hawks could benefit from his direction. However, it seems like Udoka isn’t their frontrunner, at least for right now. Earlier today, the team met with former Utah Jazz head coach Quin Snyder. Snyder is another name that has been floating around, with plenty of teams showing interest.

At this point, Udoka’s NBA future remains up in the air. However, there are still a lot of teams out there who will need coaches come the offseason. When that time comes, we’re sure he will get plenty more looks. Although his reputation is damaged, for many of these teams, results are what comes first. Let us know where you would like to see Udoka coach, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world.

SOURCE SPORTS: Ime Udoka Officially Out at Celtics, Joe Mazzulla Receives Head Coach Honor and Contract Extension

Ime Udoka

Ime Udoka is no longer approved by the Boston Celtics. According to Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix, the team is showing full confidence in interim coach Joe Mazzulla, making him the full-time coach and extending his contract.

“As he has shown, Joe is a very talented coach and leader. He has a unique ability to galvanize a room around a mission,” Celtics president of basketball operations Brad Stevens said in a statement. “We are thankful for the work he has done to help get us to this point, and excited that he has agreed to lead us into the future.”

Udoka was suspended in September for one year for an improper relationship with a female team employee. The suspension came after leading the Celtics to the NBA Finals.

Celtics Cut Ties With Ime Udoka, Name Joe Mazzulla As Head Coach

The Boston Celtics announced that Ime Udoka is no longer a franchise member and promoted interim Joe Mazzulla to head coach. As readers likely recall, the Boston team suspended the former head coach for having inappropriate relations with a team staffer. Moreover, the news quickly captured the pop culture world given his former relationship with Nia Long. Furthermore, the Celtics’ president of basketball operations Brad Stevens issued a statement addressing the team’s next chapter.

“As he has shown, Joe is a very talented coach and leader,” he remarked. “He has a unique ability to galvanize a room around a mission. We are thankful for the work he has done to help get us to this point, and excited that he has agreed to lead us into the future.” As reported, the Celtics suspended Udoka for a year with no pay due to his consensual but improper and highly publicized scandal. In fact, it also destroyed his chances at stepping in as head coach for the Brooklyn Nets. While many believed that the official removal would come after the suspension term’s end, they took a big step in charting their future.

Moreover, Mazzulla worked hard to push the Boston team to the best record in the league (42-17). In addition, he formed trusting relationships with the players and might score their potential first championship since 2008. However, things weren’t always that easy for the longtime coach and his new team. Many Celtics players felt frustrated at poor transparency regarding Udoka’s removal, since he almost won them a title last June. Marcus Smart told The Boston Globe, “Obviously, we wish he was here. We have no control over that. I guess it was deemed that whatever happened was enough for him not to be the coach here, but I guess not enough for him [not] to be a coach anywhere else, obviously.”

Meanwhile, Mazzulla spoke with professionalism and dedication about being in the middle of a rift between players and the organization. “I just have a job to do,” he expressed. “Just focus on that. The guys are bought in. They trust me for the position that I’m in. And I just can’t take that trust for granted. I’ve just got to do my job, whatever we’ve got to do to win. And it will figure itself out.” As always, come back to HNHH for the latest NBA news and more updates on the Boston Celtics.

Nia Long On Ime Udoka: “I Don’t Cry As Much As I Used To”

When it was revealed that Ime Udoka cheated on Nia Long, he came as a shock. The Boston Celtics coach was said to have carried on an affair with a team staffer, and as the scandal unraveled, everyone seemed to hound Long for a statement. The public wanted to know how she was coping with the controversy, if she would stay with her partner of 13 years, and what information she had about the other woman. The actress kept her cards close to her chest, but now, she is getting candid with The Cut about her journey.

“For the last 22 years, I’ve been pouring out. But at a certain point, you’re like, ‘Woo, I’m looking a little tired,’” said Long. “Even if I can’t see it, I can feel it. So I try to pour into myself and let everyone know this is a ‘do not disturb’ period.” In the end, Long decided to end her longstanding romance with Udoka and focus on raising her children. The mother of two shares a son with Udoka, an 11-year-old who has had to face his father’s indiscretions with the rest of the world.

“My only focus right now is my youngest son ’cause he’s having a really tough time,” Long stated. “I’m sure I have some things that I’m suppressing, but I have to do that to take care of him first. That’s the giving. It’s natural. I’m sure I’ll have to circle back with myself several times to reconcile things. But the one thing I’m trying not to harbor is anger.” In that reflection on her relationship, Long admitted she has tried to piece together what went so wrong after 13 years.

“The Celtics made a choice to make my family business public, and I don’t understand why,” the You People star also said. “It could’ve all been handled internally. I do understand why, but I can’t talk about it. Maybe one day I will. You know, fear drives stupidity, and I’ll leave that right there. I’ve learned that I’m stronger than I ever thought I was.”

Immediately following the reveal, Long was bombarded with supportive messages from industry peers and fans alike. It was something she says helped her through dark days. “It saved my mental well-being because I felt uplifted by the community in a way that felt like my family was checking in and making sure I was okay. And that, I appreciated. I have that for people like Beyoncé. I look at her, and I’m so proud of her because I know how difficult it is to sustain and manage everything she has in her life. My life is probably a smaller version of that.”

“I don’t cry as much as I used to,” Long said of mourning her breakup. “I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing, but I do check in with myself and let people know how I feel, for better or worse. ’Cause I’m not holding on to nonsense, and I’m also not passive-aggressive. I say it and sometimes it’s received, sometimes it’s not, but in any case, it’s my truth.”

“Black women that are dynamic and famous and there to inspire are also required to be exceptional, and sometimes I just get tired of being strong. That’s my biggest thing: I don’t want to have to be strong. I would like to just have an experience that’s pleasant. But the difference comes down to race. Race matters and makes a difference in your experiences and the way people treat you, respect you, and regard you — and the way people protect you. Malcolm X said the least protected person in America is the Black woman. That quote resonates big time in my life right now.”

Further in the conversation, Long revealed that she is nervous about the dating process. “You do? I’m so nervous,” she said. “Are you on the dating apps? We gotta talk about this.”

Any potential dating may come after a break. Nia Long recently opened up about the last couple months of her life, which included the bombshell reveal of her ex-husband Ime Udoka cheating with a member of the Boston Celtics franchise. The affair led to his suspension from the team.

Speaking with Yahoo!, Nia Long held back tears thinking about the road to 2023.

“I’ve had some pretty devastating moments in my life over the last couple of months,” Long said. “And I’ve had to just say, ‘It’s alright. You’ll pick yourself back up and’ — oh my god. I’m about to cry. ‘You’ll pick yourself back up and keep moving,’”

Nia Long Speaks On Dating After Split From Ime Udoka

Nia Long shared her thoughts on dating weeks after she broke up with NBA coach Ime Udoka. While dating rumors continued to hit her left and right since, the actress set the record straight. Overall, from what she said on The Drew Barrymore Show, she’s not in any rush.

Moreover, this news comes after Udoka’s public cheating scandal, which exploded in September of 2022. The coach had a consensual but inappropriate relationship with a staffer for the Boston Celtics, and Long split with him months later. However, when she spoke to Barrymore, she shared that she’s got her “eye on one person.

“I’m not saying,” she joked. “I’m never telling.” Afterwards, the host shared that she enjoys the dating process. Then Nia admitted that she’s a bit anxious about the prospect. “You do? I’m so nervous,” she stated. “Are you on the dating apps? We gotta talk about this.”

Also, the 52-year-old said confirmed that she’s “so single” at the moment. Still, rumors recently spread of a potential romance between her and R&B singer Omarion. Moreover, The Shade Room shared a video of them on a red carpet where they took pictures together and Long grabbed his hand. “The smile on Omarion’s face says it all!” TSR captioned the post.

However, Nia Long even went to the lengths of commenting on that post to get her say in all the gossip. “Everybody simmer down…” she wrote. “I’m single AF.” With all these people breathing down her neck, she might relate to what she said about Will Smith carrying a burden.

“I will always love him,” she said to Yahoo. “He’s had an incredible career, and he’s carried a burden for many years to try — to represent what perfection looks like. Or what achievement looks like… I don’t think that — at least when we were growing up — there was room to be human. I think he’s now able to be human.

“We all have our moments in life where we need to reconcile things that we suppress,” she continued. “And I think — it’s hard growing up in this business and being front and center every day, all day. I’ve had some pretty devastating moments in my life over the last couple of months, and I’ve had to just say ‘It’s alright. You’ll pick yourself back up’ — oh, my God I’m about to cry. You pick yourself back up, and you keep it moving.”

Still, what do you think of Nia Long’s thoughts on dating after her split from Ime Udoka? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, check back in with HNHH for the latest pop culture gossip and relationship rumors.

Nia Long Talks Will Smith’s “Burden” Of Representing “What Perfection Looks Like”

Plenty of industry’s elite who called Will Smith a friend turned their backs on him following the Oscars incident, but not Nia Long. Smith has returned to work full force with the release of Emancipation, but it will be a long road for him to regain respect from his peers. The infamous moment when he slapped Chris Rock on the Oscars stage devastated the icon’s reputation, but those who know Smith well, like Long, are commending his strength to recover.

“I will always love him. He’s had an incredible career, and he’s carried a burden for many years to try — to represent what perfection looks like,” Long told Yahoo‘s Kevin Polowy. “Or what achievement looks like.”
