NBA YoungBoy House Arrest Modification Grant Will Hopefully Improve His Mental Health

After much-failed petitioning over the past few years, NBA YoungBoy’s legal team finally secured him a legal win yesterday (December 18). As XXL reports, legal documents confirm that Judge Shelly D. Dick is permitting the 24-year-old to leave his home for medical appointments going forward. Previously, YB was restricted to receiving treatment on his Utah property. After advocating for his crippling mental health, he now has at least a few of his rights back. “The defendant is restricted to 24-hour a day lock-down at his residence except for medical appointments and court appearances or other activities specifically approved in advance by the Defendant’s pretrial supervision officer,” this week’s ruling states.

It’s still a win for the father of eleven. However, Judge Dick did deny him partaking in other activities related to his employment without first seeking court approval. Back in November, the court felt the same way about allowing YoungBoy permission to leave his home at all. “The United States fails to see how the defendant’s current conditions of pre-trial release prohibit him from seeking and obtaining mental health treatment,” Assistant US Attorney William K. Morris said at the time.

NBA YoungBoy Wants House Arrest Rules Relaxed To Help With Depression & Use Of Outside Studios

NBA YoungBoy is requesting that the terms of his house arrest be eased so that he can once again record music at an outside studio. Additionally, his legal team says it will help with his anxiety and depression. They want the allowance of “certain” activities with approval from his pretrial officer due to his “deteriorating” mental health.

“Being confined to his home and unable to complete his employment obligations has led to great anxiety, depression, loss of weight, and sleep. Mr. Gaulden [NBA YoungBoy] has been visibly stressed and has expressed concern and loss of hope that he will be able to return to his contracted employment obligation,” his lawyers said. They added that his sales have “suffered” due to his “limited ability to produce quality recordings” and that he’s already “exhausted all his options for recording in his home with a very limited production crew.”

Under the proposed terms, YoungBoy would still be subject to adhering to a curfew, wearing an ankle monitor at all times, and having a limitation on visitors. He would also be unable to tour. In response, prosecutors argue that the request is “hopelessly vague.” “The United States fails to see how the defendant’s current conditions of pre-trial release prohibit him from seeking and obtaining mental health treatment,” Assistant U.S. Attorney William K. Morris said in a filing submitted on Monday, as noted by The Fader. He added that YoungBoy can receive “necessary” medical appointments through telehealth therapy. As for the recording of new music, Morris cited the recent release of his latest record, Decided 2, as proof his house arrest isn’t stopping his work.

The judge in the case has yet to issue a ruling on the proposal. A grand jury originally indicted YoungBoy in March 2021 on felony weapons possession in Louisiana. Be on the lookout for further updates on NBA YoungBoy and his ongoing case on HotNewHipHop.

NBA YoungBoy Says He’s Going To Turn Himself In And Get Himself Together

In a cryptic message that sent confusion through the hip-hop community, NBA YoungBoy took to social media to address those attempting to break him. The Baton Rouge-bred rapper recently expressed in a video that he was going to turn himself in. “Meechie baby, man that b—ch think she playing me. Aye, they think they breaking me. I’m gonna turn myself in and get myself together. Aye, these b–ch a-s n—as gonna feel what they made me feel,” YoungBoy declared in a candid moment. It left fans speculating about his next move.

The ambiguity of YoungBoy’s statement sparked discussions among fans, with some questioning whether the rapper meant turning himself in for legal matters or if he was hinting at a different kind of self-reckoning. The phrase “get myself together” raised eyebrows, leading to a wide range of interpretations. As speculation ran rampant, some fans wondered if NBA YoungBoy was contemplating rehab, seeking a path to personal growth and recovery. The rapper’s past has been well-documented, and fans are hopeful that this could be a pivotal moment for him to address any personal struggles head-on.

NBA Youngboy With A Message

However, a twist in the narrative emerged as fans pointed out the rapper’s current legal situation. NBA YoungBoy is currently on house arrest, raising questions about the feasibility of him turning himself in. The juxtaposition of his statement with his current legal constraints left fans intrigued and eager for more clarity. NBA Youngboy has been on house arrest for 2 years now. As HNHH previously reported earlier this month, Youngboy explained that he wanted his house arrest terms altered. “Being confined to his home and unable to complete his employment obligations has led to great anxiety, depression, loss of weight and sleep. [NBA YoungBoy] has been visibly stressed and has expressed concern and loss of hope that he will be able to return to his contracted employment obligation,” the lawyer’s statement read.

Overall, the video is just another incident where fans are worried about his mental health. Although he’s been using his time on house arrest to be productive and release new music, ultimately fans can see that his mental health is deteriorating. NBA YoungBoy’s raw and unfiltered expressions have always kept his fanbase on their toes. And this recent revelation is no exception. As fans eagerly await further updates, one thing is certain. The rapper continues to navigate life’s challenges on his own terms. And leaving everyone guessing about what comes next in the ever-evolving saga of NBA YoungBoy.

NBA YoungBoy Slams The Music Industry As “Demonic”

NBA YoungBoy says the music industry is “demonic” and forces within it are using him as an entertainment product. He discussed his place in the industry during an interview with Complex at his home in Utah, where he’s been under house arrest since 2021.

“It’s a demonic industry that I chose to be a part of,” he said in the clip. “So it’s like, I accept it. I run with it. But don’t be a dummy at the same time. You gotta understand, they’re using me as entertainment. And this sh*t becomes self-destruction too, ’cause I ain’t an entertainer. Some sh*t can’t be spoke on. Why? YoungBoy has faced numerous legal issues over the years including several cases of federal firearm charges. In 2021, he was released on $1.5 million bail and ordered to live under house arrest while awaiting trial. Amid that ongoing process, YoungBoy has been heavily focused on getting music out to his fans. Just earlier this month, he dropped his fourth new project of 2023, Decided 2. Across the 18-song tracklist, YoungBoy collaborated with just one artist, Rod Wave. It’s the second time they’ve worked together as of late, after previously pairing up on “Home Ain’t Home” off The Last Slimeto in 2022. NBA Youngboy Requests House Arrest Change, Cites His Mental Health

For more than two years now, NBA Youngboy has been under house arrest in Utah. His situation spawns from a 2020 arrest for firearm and narcotics possession. After a further arrest in Los Angeles where he was found with another firearm, the courts came down hard. From his bail proceedings to his eventual sentencing to house arrest, he hasn’t been afforded much leniency. Consequently, as his sentence is being increasingly discussed publicly by fans, he’s looking for a way to loosen the terms.

According to All Hip Hop in a new statement made by his lawyers, Youngboy explains why he’d like his house arrest terms altered. “Being confined to his home and unable to complete his employment obligations has led to great anxiety, depression, loss of weight and sleep. [NBA YoungBoy] has been visibly stressed and has expressed concern and loss of hope that he will be able to return to his contracted employment obligation,” the lawyer’s statement reads. It’s unclear if it will work as government prosecutors have expressed skepticism in what counts as “employment obligations.” A judge is expected to eventually rule on the request. Nicki Minaj Delivers Cryptic Tweet Following Kenneth Petty House Arrest Ruling

Nicki Minaj has always been the subject of some wild headlines over the years. However, that has been especially true over the last week due to the actions of her husband, Kenneth Petty. If you remember, Petty was outside with some friends, making threats towards Offset. Nicki and Cardi B have beef, so the Offset connection makes sense. However, the former Migos member was in Atlanta with Kai Cenat before hopping on a jet to go see the Colorado Buffaloes. Needless to say, he got the last laugh.

This is especially true now that Petty has been ordered to 120 days in house arrest. “Mr. Petty was recorded on video making threatening remarks towards a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record,” a court order explains. “This recent violation conduct raises concerns over Mr. Petty’s willingness to comply with the Court’s orders. As such, the Probation Officer believes placement in the Location Monitoring Program will effectively allow for closer monitoring of Mr. Petty’s activities, limit his movements, provide a sanction for his non-compliance, and hopefully encourage him to reflect upon and reevaluate his current status in the community.”

Nicki Minaj’s Husband Kenneth Petty Subjected To House Arrest After Offset Threats

Nicki Minaj has made quite a few headlines over the years due to her husband Kenneth Petty. For those who may not know, Petty is a convicted sex offender stemming from an alleged attempted rape in 1995. Overall, this case has led to all sorts of issues Petty. Moreover, it has led to quite a few jokes on social media. However, what is important, is that Petty was supposed to register as a sex offender upon moving to California. In the end, he opted not to do that and was given three years probation and one year under house arrest.

This ruling took place over a year ago, so if your math is correct, you would understand that Petty would have been off house arrest. However, he completely ruined his freedom for himself after he made some threats against Offset. As we reported, he was outside with some friends, claiming to be looking for the rapper. According to court reporter Meghann Cuniff, a judge has subsequently given Petty 120 days under house arrest for his actions.

Donald Trump May Get House Arrest Rather Than Prison Time

Donald Trump is currently facing 91 felonies across four separate indictments. If Trump was found guilty of all of them, that could result in over 700 years of prison time. Of course, he likely would simply get a collection of life sentences without parole. However, a DC insider has now suggested that Trump might not see the inside of a cell at all. “In a normal case, yes, he would be jailed for contempt of court, but as a practical matter, he can’t be. They can’t house the Secret Service in jail and all the rest of it. It’s likely to be house arrest,” explained longtime DC inside Jonathan Alter.

The main effect of a Trump guilty verdict would be that he would be barred from holding elected office until he had served his sentence. While some Republicans, such as Mike Huckabee, have warned that his could lead to a violent uprising from right-wing sources, that is likely nothing more than fear-mongering. However, it will likely not sit well with many people that Trump will get to live out his sentence in his palatial Bedminster estate or Mar-a-Lago.

Trump Gets Booed In Iowa

Meanwhile, Donald Trump was booed and trolled relentlessly as he watched the Iowa-Iowa State rivalry game on September 9. Fans consistently booed the former President as multiple photos appeared online of Trump waving to a crowd where multiple people were giving him the finger. Meanwhile, a small private aircraft flew over Jack Trice Stadium carrying a banner that read “Where’s Melania?”. While many people have pointed out that this occurred in a state that Trump won by eight points, that statistic is somewhat misleading. While Trump did win Iowa, he lost Story County, where Iowa State is located, by 18 points.

Things had gone well for Trump to begin the day. Before heading to the stadium, Trump had visited the chapter house of Alpha Gamma Rho, an agricultural fraternity. He was also greeted by throngs of fans all over campus. However, football fans a different breed entirely and they weren’t happy to see Trump in attendance for the most part. Furthermore, Ron DeSantis was also at the game and got his fair share of boos and middle fingers. Republican voters in the state caucus on January 15, with Trump currently holding a 30+ point lead over DeSantis. As for the game – Iowa beat Iowa State 20-13 to take back the Cy-Hawk Trophy.
