Here Is Sexyy Red’s ‘Hood Hottest Princess Tour’ Setlist

Sexyy Red’s love for the first life, cars, and money isn’t going to slow down now that she’s reportedly pregnant. In fact, the “No Panties” rapper has shifted gears in her career to speed things up. After joining several other acts on the road as opening support, including Drake, Lil Durk, and Moneybagg Yo, Sexyy Red kicked off her first headlining run on the road.

Sexyy Red Set for ‘Hood Hottest Princess’ Tour

Fresh off the success of her album, Hood Hottest Princess, emerging Hip-Hop sensation Sexyy Red is taking center stage with her very own headlining tour. Titled the Hood Hottest Princess Tour, this highly anticipated event marks a defining moment in the artist’s career.

After garnering attention in the Hip-Hop and Rap circles, Sexyy Red secured a supporting slot alongside industry heavyweights Drake and 21 Savage on the ongoing It’s All a Blur Tour. Now, she’s ready to take the spotlight for herself with her inaugural headlining venture.

Produced by Live Nation, the 20-city tour is set to ignite on October 16th at Boston’s renowned Paradise Rock Club. The journey will traverse major U.S. cities including Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, and more, culminating in a final crescendo in San Francisco on Nov. 29th.

Sexyy Red’s album, Hood Hottest Princess, dropped on June 9, and quickly established its dominance by entering the Top 10 on the U.S. Apple Music Top Albums chart on release day. The album also achieved the milestone of entering the Billboard 200 just three weeks later. Notably, Sexyy Red also made her mark on the Billboard Hot 100 with the infectious hit “Pound Town 2” featuring none other than Nicki Minaj.

Sexyy Red Announces Fall 2023 “Hood Hottest Princess Tour”

Sexyy Red could be coming to a city near you this fall. The “Pound Town” performer recently announced her first headlining tour, featuring 20 stops around the U.S. The fall 2023 “Hood Hottest Princess Tour” is scheduled to kick off in October with a performance in Boston, wrapping up in San Francisco in November. The tour poster also boasts the idea of some special guests, who have yet to be announced.

Sexyy Red will make notable stops in New York, Philly, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, LA, and more. The rapper will also make a stop in her hometown of St. Louis, MO on October 30, moving on to perform in Chicago on Halloween. It’s clear that social media users can’t wait to catch Sexyy Red live, as they’re sounding off on Twitter. “Imma be first in line,” one fan excitedly writes.

Her upcoming tour isn’t the only thing Sexyy Red has to be excited about. The 25-year-old is hot off the release of her new single alongside Sukihana, “Hood Rats.” Lil Durk also recently teased an upcoming collaboration with the female MC, which has yet to be announced. Earlier this week, she also hinted at a new remix of her hit Hood Hottest Princess track, “SkeeYee,” getting fans speculating in the comments section. The hitmaker recently linked up with Tyler, the Creator, posing for photos with the Grammy-winner. Fans had a field day with the photos, with some even joking that he got a BBL. He of course played along, claiming that the “cat is out the bag.”

After teasing her pseudo-fling with Drake earlier this summer, Sexyy Red was recently added as a supporting act on his tour. Drake and 21 Savage are making their way around the U.S. and Canada until the beginning of October. After the success of “Pound Town,” it was pretty much inevitable that the unapologetic rapper would bring her hit single — and its follow-up album, Hood Hottest Princess — on the road to touch fans in person. And, of course, the tour is named after the album: The Hood Hottest Princess Tour kicks off October 16 in Boston, with Red’s hometown show landing on Halloween Eve. She’ll wrap things up toward the end of November in San Francisco, hitting most of the major US stops between. Although not everyone is a fan, there is no doubt that she has a lot of energy right now. Overall, she is someone who can captivate an audience, and her love for the craft is infectious. Not to mention, she has proven to be an awesome performer who is not afraid to take a risk every now and again. Needless to say, she has the blueprint for success.

Artists like Drake have been taking notice of Sexyy Red. During a recent concert in Brooklyn, he shouted her out after she decided to come through. The song’s an ode to the D-boys and hustlers who love fast cars and the girls who love those boys. The lo-fi video for the track sees Red and friends turning up in the streets and throwing money with cameos from fellow rap it-girls like GloRilla.

It certainly is Red’s moment right now. Thanks to the viral popularity of “Pound Town” — and the resulting conservative backlash to it — her profile has rapidly risen in just a few short months from relative unknown to “Drake dating rumors” levels of fame. Sexyy Red Has No Limits In Her Unfiltered ‘Looking For The H*es (Ain’t My Fault)’ Video

Coming hot on the heels of her show-stealing appearance at the BET Awards, St. Louis rapper Sexyy Red makes another bid for the song of the summer with the unfiltered video for “Looking For The H*es (Ain’t My Fault)” video. As suggested by the song’s title, the chorus borrows the famed call and response from Silkk The Shocker’s 1998 single “It Ain’t My Fault.” There are no limits in the video either (heh) as Red and her girls twerk, shake, and pop for the camera at a house party.

“Looking For The H*es” appears on Sexyy Red’s debut mixtape Hood Hottest Princess alongside her breakout hits “Born By The River” and “Pound Town 2” featuring Nicki Minaj. The tape, released by Heavy On It and Open Shift Distribution, also features ATL Jacob, Juicy J, Sukihana, and Tay Keith.

In the wake of the tape’s release, Red has already begun to experience the highs and lows of fame. She was recently added to the lineup of the Days Of Summer Cruise Festival — undoubtedly a “high” — but also found herself cutting off a performance after fans threw objects on stage. But, as she says in the song, that ain’t her fault. For the time being, she seems comfortable continuing to be herself — exactly the thing that got her here in the first place.

Sexyy Red took the world by storm with her viral performance of “Pound Town” with BoxedIn. The organic success of the clip earned co-signs across the board from City Girls, Cardi B, and plenty of others. However, it was Nicki Minaj who officially took the song to the Billboard Hot 100 after jumping on the remix. The momentum is high for Sexyy Red and it appears that she’s only getting started. With a massive co-sign from Nicki, it seems like there’s no better time than now to unveil a new project.

This week, Sexyy Red hit the ‘Gram where she formally announced her upcoming EP, Hood Hottest Princess. The St. Louis-bred artist’s forthcoming body of work will undoubtedly set the tone for what could be a fruitful year for her. Hood Hottest Princess will arrive in its entirety on Friday, June 9th. Although the original version of “Pound Town” won’t appear on the tracklist, the Nicki Minaj and Tay Keith-assisted “Pound Town 2” will appear on the project – an impressive fear for anyone’s debut EP. Additionally, she’ll be bringing along Juicy J, who appears on “Strictly For The Strippers” and Sukihana, who featured on “Born By The River.” Hood Hottest Princess will also include “Female Gucci Mane,” which arrived back in April. The tracklist consists of 10 songs in total.

Following the debut of “Pound Town 2,” Nicki and Sexyy Red sat down for an Instagram Live where the Queen rapper provided some encouraging words. “This is only the f***ing beginning for her,” Nicki said. “This is what I told her: yo, people like you. People like what you have to say, they like your sound. So, make sure a whole bunch of people aren’t coming around trying to help you do this and help you do that. Because mothaf**kas really want to hear that raw sh*t, you know what I’m sayin’? Sexyy Red Announces Her New Album Called ‘Hood Hottest Princess’

Sexyy Red has been breaking through into the hip-hop scene after her videos for “Born By The River” featuring Sukihana and “Pound Town” went viral. A Nicki Minaj and Tay Keith feature on “Pound Town 2” sure helped, too. Now she’s keeping the momentum going.

The St. Louis native just announced her new album Hood Hottest Princess, which will contain both “Pound Town 2” and “Born By The River.” It will also have a feature from Juicy J for a track called “Strictly For The Strippers.” It arrives this Friday, June 9.

Sexyy Red’s flexes are plentiful. She made a cameo in GloRilla’s “Lick Or Sum” music video alongside Yung Miami. She also collaborated with Summer Walker for “Sense Dat God Gave You,” and the pair used the music video as an opportunity to dance in a convenience store and twerk in the parking lot. Hood Hottest Princess is sure to have many shenanigans.
