LaMelo Ball Speaks Out Following $100K Fine Over Homophobic Post-Game Comment

Charlotte Hornets superstar LaMelo Ball was fined $100,000 by the NBA this past weekend and for good reason. Following a game, Ball said the term “no homo.” Overall, a simple “pause” probably would have sufficed. However, he ended up taking it way too far. Although there were plenty of fans who were not offended, the league has to protect its image. Consequently, they came through with a well-deserved fine.

Following the fine, Hornets head coach Charles Lee spoke out on what happened. As he explains, LaMelo is very apologetic. “As an organization, that’s obviously not something that we condone. Our standards and what is required of our players in our environment that we create is really important to us,” Lee said. “I spoke to Melo and he’s obviously very apologetic from what I’ve seen since I’ve been around him. He loves everyone and he’s a joy to have around in the facility, and that’s not typically how he operates.”

“He and I talked about the seriousness of the situation and how he needs to conduct himself going forward, he understands what’s going to be expected of him. I look forward to seeing him grow from this moment. We apologize for what happened,”Lee continued. “He and I talked about it and he definitely said, ‘going forward, I want to be better and I don’t want to see that happen.’ So, for somebody to use those words and say it out of his mouth, we will make sure that we hold him accountable to that.”

This is a teachable moment for LaMelo and we hope he learns from it. So far this season, he has been playing incredibly well. You never want to see a young player squander that because of a poor judgment call. Only time will tell whether or not Ball truly changes his ways.

Jason Kelce Trades Homophobic Slur With A Fan Who Trolled Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift

Jason Kelce got into a heated exchange with a fan prior to Penn State’s game against Ohio State at Beaver Stadium on Saturday. The person had been chirping Jason about his brother Travis’ relationship with Taylor Swift. “Kelce, how does it feel that your brother is a fa— for dating Taylor Swift?” he said in a video of the incident. Jason then appeared to throw the fan’s phone to the ground and return fire with, “Who’s the fa— now?”

Videos of the altercation have been going viral on social media, with fans largely coming to Jason’s defense. “To the kid whose phone was smashed: you’re a poor representation of Penn State, and I’m embarrassed by you,” one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote. Another added: “I’m glad. People have gotten WAY to comfortable saying and doing whatever they want to people that they don’t know from a can of paint.”

Boosie Badazz Emotionally Begs For Daughter’s Forgiveness Over Hurtful Statements

Overall, Boosie Badazz has not been an ally to the LGBTQ+ community, to say the least. While he claims to not have anything against them, his words do speak volumes. They certainly did with the daughter of Boosie Badazz, Poison Ivi. She was deeply hurt over her dad’s destructive comments that he spewed on a live edition of Yung Miami’s Caresha Please podcast. Essentially, he doesn’t want her openly lesbian daughter to “contaminate” his other six girls and wants all of them to “bring me grandchildren the right way”. This prompted an emotional and angered response from Poison Ivi, saying, “Emotionally, mentally, you suck… And I know you suck with that cause you’d rather go to the Internet and have a conversation with the Internet about your kids before you come to us”.

Now, according to AllHipHop, Boosie Badazz is looking for her to forgive him for what he said. He posted a collage of photos of the two of them together and coupled it with an emotional plea. “I SAID SOME THINGS N I DIDNT KNOW ITLL HURT U. Boosie Badazz complained about men painting their nails in his latest controversial post, comparing the move to wearing a thong. “IF A MAN IS PAINTING HIS NAILS, ITS EQUAL TO A MAN WEARING A THONG UP HIS AXX #realtalk get it sexy get it sexy,” he wrote with several laughing emojis. It’s far from the first time he’s criticized men for breaking traditional gender norms. In addition to controversial posts of that nature, he’s also come under fire for extremely homophobic opinions on numerous occasions.

When 2Cool2Blog shared the post on Instagram, users couldn’t understand Boosie’s obsession with the LGBTQ+ community. “Boosie it’s ok. Them demons killing u. Just accept u have an urge to participate in the festivities. Nobody will judge u. It’s ok champ. We tire come out man,” one user wrote. Another added: “I can honestly say I don’t care what the next man is doing I got kids and bills whooping my ass.”

Despite the frequent homophobia, Boosie has said time and time again that he doesn’t have any issues with LGBTQ+ people. Speaking with Cam Newton on his show, 4th & 1, in February, Boosie explained his stance on the matter. “I just never agreed [with] what they was pushing on the younger generation, and I spoke on that,” he told the former NFL star. “And I spoke about a couple more situations that made a lot of people turn on me: the Dwyane Wade situation. But I have gays in my family. How can I hate a gay person? My assistant, who brings in millions of dollars to me, is gay. And I just got—I want that to get off my status. I’m not like that.”

Cardi B Fed Up With The Homophobia Allegations After Putting “Fan” On Blast For Spitting On Rapper’s Wax Figure

Cardi B is seemingly always under fire for something, and this time she is having to speak out against the idea that she is homophobic. According to AllHipHop, this stems from a video that is making the rounds on X (formerly Twitter) of a male “fan” spitting on Cardi B’s wax figure. As you can see from the screenshot below, this guy follows the New York rapper on Instagram, so that in and of itself is odd behavior. In the video you can also hear him say, “They don’t have you in a dark shadow for no reason, b****. Nobody likes you”. A Cardi B fan account reshared the video and the MC came across it and replied to it with, “But when I said be a BOY”.

This set some people off, leading to even more heated fan interactions. For example, this user shamed the “I Like It” songwriter for being against the gay community. “You are becoming so comfortable being homophobic and it’s disgusting”. Again, this prompted Cardi B to respond and she made sure to get her point across. “Stop wit the fake homophobia bulls***. Im not homophobic I don’t care wtf you like to f*** and suck and eat on but be a f***in BOY you a grown a** man spitting at a wax figure of me. I wouldn’t allow no straight man buck on me ever! If you suck dick like me you not buckin on me neither and that’s just that!”.

Later on, the “hawk tuah” dude shared a separate post, this time posing next to the statue of Cardi’s rival, Nicki Minaj. He then captioned it, “Be a Mother Be a Wife. Worried about me being a boy When your Husband is Messing with Ladies With Sticks @NICKIMINAJ Nicki Is Better #Barbz @BarbzFeedx”. If you are wondering why the one X user was calling Cardi B homophobic, it’s because she was put on blast a couple of weeks ago. She used the “be a boy” phrase in another Twitter spat revolving around her rumored pregnancy.

Candace Owens Tells Don Lemon His Relationship Is A Sin

Throughout the last few months, she has pedaled conspiracies about the Holocaust and has even claimed that the earth is flat. Although the political commentator has a massive audience, there is no doubt that the general consensus around her is negative. After all, in 2024, many of her views can be seen as outdated.

Having said that, Owens was recently interviewed by Don Lemon. Lemon previously worked for CNN although he was let go. Since then, he has started interviewing controversial figures, independently. He has interviewed Elon Musk, and Owens was his most recent sitdown. During the interview, Owens and Lemon spoke about homosexuality. Lemon is married to a man, which is something that Owens has been vehemently against. This subsequently prompted Lemon to ask Owens if she believed his marriage was sinful.

As you can see in the clip above, Owens was very forthright with Lemon. She said that she believes marriage cannot be between two men and that Lemon is living a life of sin. Overall, Owens has maintained that she is religious, and uses her religion to justify these views. Lemon seemed pretty surprised to see Owens double down, although she has never suggested she would ever do otherwise. The clip has subsequently gone viral, and as you can imagine, it has led to some staunch reactions online. Some people applauded Owens for sticking to her beliefs, while others were angered by her rhetoric.

He even named Lil Baby and NBA YoungBoy in this, which just goes to show that he is not afraid to say names.

YoungBoy seemingly saw this rant as he eventually took to his own Instagram story, and had a bit of a response of sorts. Overall, he showed off the painted nails, while saying: “I need ’em redone right now, bitch. I love you too, son. I ain’t do you, n***a. I’m finna go cry.” Clearly, YoungBoy is comfortable with his sexuality, and does not care for the insinuations being made by Kodak. As for the trend of painting one’s nails, that is probably not going away. It’s a decade-long phenomenon and it won’t stop now just because of a few angry rants.

Boosie Badazz is still arguing he’s not homophobic. He explained his reasoning for his bad reputation with the LGBTQ+ during a new interview with Cam Newton on his show, 4th & 1. The rapper says his main issue stems from supporting LGBTQ+ youth.

Azealia Banks slammed Troye Sivan in a lengthy, hate-filled rant on Instagram, Wednesday, labeling the singer an “expired twink.” Sivan had praised Banks and remarked that her 2011 single, “212,” is a staple of his pregame playlist.

“This is these white kids’ weird way of apologizing for bandwagoning,” she began in the rant on her Instagram Story. “Having no clue of the kind of shit happening to me behind the scenes in the industry.” After adding a photo of Sivan, she continued: “I’m not impressed by any of these people (who I’ve never met in person nor had a conversation with me) not having the audacity to be as public and loud with their apology as they were with using their platform to cast judgment as if a singular me was an important social justice issue. I would REALLY appreciate all of these f*ckin civilian ass bitches to stop mentioning me, stop dancing to my shit in the club if you’re not going to treat me like a human and take back all the unfounded bullshit you all used ur platforms to perpetuate.”

DJ Akademiks and Saucy Santana continued going at it with one another on social media, Monday afternoon, amid their ongoing feud. Santana came at Akademiks after he dragged him into his other beef with Yung Miami. Akademiks had accused Miami of perpetuating homophobia despite being friends with Santana.

In his latest livestream, Akademiks began by attempting to clarify that he’s on good terms with the LGBTQ community but that no one like Saucy Santana “can talk to me.” From there, he says he’d spit in his face. “Me and you couldn’t even have a conversation., “Akademiks remarked. “You’re a cocks*cker n***a. We don’t talk to n****s like you.” He added that Santana needs to “get right with God.” Before ending, he told Santana to pull up to his headquarters.
