YG Announces New Album ‘I Got Issues’ for Sept. 30

YG is ready to invite you back into his rap world, announcing his new album, I Got Issues.

I Got Issues will be available to fans in both digital and CD offerings on September 30. The album will feature the singles “Scared Money” featur­ing J Cole and Moneybagg Yo, “Run” featuring Tyga, 21 Savage, and BIA as well as YG’s most recent single “Toxic.”

Recently, YG hosted a VIP private dinner at the Warehouse Downtown in Los Angeles, California, to kick off the revival of the 4Hunnid brand. Zack Bia, Guapdad4000, Chiquis, Boo Johnson, Coco Jones, and Emily Tosta were just a handful of the attendees.

With Drop I, YG, best known for his contagious, Mustard-produced, party-ready songs and candid accounts of life in Compton, proudly revives the 4Hunnid brand. Similar to how the Compton culture influences his music, way of life, and daily morality, so is the 4Hunnid brand. The 4Hunnid line, featuring T-shirt 4H GANGSTA SS logos that represent the “real street definition” of a gangster, is ingrained in YG’s DNA.

Instead of capturing the spirit of streetwear, the 4Hunnid collection honestly reinvents it. The goods are entirely cut, stitched, and built in Los Angeles, California, with prices ranging from $60 to $180. The line combines individually customized and modern boxy fits and is made of high-quality, heavy-weight fabrications. The BLOCK RUNNER, a classic wardrobe item from Los Angeles, is recreated in the collection using only 100% genuine leather and a flame-shaped emblem sewn onto the side panels.

A half-zipped polo with embroidery and jacquard inspired by football pairs with terry tank tops and T7 nylon shorts, while a nylon coat and printed long-sleeve jersey top round off the ready-to-wear collection. Shoes include the classic Weekend sneaker and the Nitefox loafer, which has an outsole with a striking, trail-inspired design. Nitefox is also offered in laced boot form. The bicolor Grip bag, the burgundy Crossbody clutch, an embroidered cap, a printed satin scarf, staples from Palomo Spain, and accessories add a stylish finishing touch.

Kanye Issues Ultimatum To GAP Executives: “I’m Going To Have To Do What I’m Thinking Somewhere Else”

It’s safe to say that whatever Kanye touches will turn to gold. Upon his arrival to Adidas, and with the release of the Yeezy 750 and 350, Ye brought a newfound, and much needed, boost in popularity and revenue to Adidas who was getting beat by Nike and Air Jordan. The same can be said for the GAP who was in turmoil before their partnership with Kanye’s Yeezy brand.

While Kanye has the ability to leverage his influence to help these companies, he has also been asking for more than just a partnership, but a seat at the table. He has called out the Adidas CEO multiple times for not putting him on the Adidas board despite having some of the most popular and highest selling shoes in the world. Ye is now doing the same with GAP, asking executives take this partnership more seriously and hear him out about the ideas he has for the future of the brand.

In a video shared to his IG today, August 31, Ye spoke to GAP executives, seemingly in a Yeezy Gap X Balenciaga creative studio, where he gave an impassioned 6-minute speech where he explained his mission for the Yeezy GAP brand.

“You have to really give me the position to be Ye and do what I’m thinking or I’m going to have to do what I’m thinking somewhere else. Because if there’s one thing I learned from Virgil, if something’s killing you, it’s actually killing you,” Ye said. He then called out GAP executives for canceling the pre-order for the blue Round Jacket, and only running the perfect hoodie ad once despite selling over $10 million of the hoodie during its initial release.

“This is the moment. There will never be an opportunity with a guy like me that cares this much about specifically this brand and has done this until this point,” Kanye continued. We are like Tom Brady waking people up at 2 am during COVID but he went back and got that ring,” he said. “We are the football team. This is our football team. And I’m actually the Tom Brady because Demna charge $4000 for a shirt.. I’m saying… how do we go Costco, how do we go Old Navy prices?”

Ye then gave an ultimatum to the exectives, saying that either they can let him do what he is thinking at the GAP, or he will find somewhere else to do it.

“This is bigger than us. We shouldn’t argue amongst ourselves. But I’m saying I have to go pull that sword out the stone,” he added. “You either believe me or I’m going to show you. I can either show you facing this way [back facing the executives] or facing this way [frontward],”

This comes after Ye publicly called out GAP for ripping his designs and canceling a photoshoot with his kids without letting him know.

Reebok Reveals the New LX2200 Scheduled for Sept. 1 Drop

Reebok has officially announced a September 1 release date for the brand-new LX2200, a contemporary take on one of its most recognizable running shoes, the LX8500.

In 1985, Reebok released the LX8500, a high-end runner. The all-new LX2200, which debuts in autumn 2022, is inspired by that same design and features a modern silhouette with aspects of today’s fashion, such as a soft leather upper, buffed EVA midsole, suede and mesh overlays, and a chalk white rubber outsole.

While this first release features subdued autumnal tones, upcoming LX2200 models will offer a variety of vintage and upscale material implementations and color schemes throughout the season.

Starting September 1, Reebok.com and a few stores will sell the LX2200.

Reebok to Introduce ‘Answer to No One’ Colorway of Question Mid

A fresh and modern colorway of Allen Iverson’s renowned basketball shoe, the Question Mid “Answer to No One,” will be released on September 1 by Reebok.

This rendition of Iverson’s first signature shoe, which debuted with a corresponding retro clothing line, features multicolor detailing on a chalk upper, a bespoke graphic sock-liner, vintage “Q” and “3” heel emblems, and other delicious hits on top of a chalk midsole and glass blue-tinted outsole. Clothing features two graphic shirt variants, a vector fleece hoodie, and joggers.

Starting on September 1, Reebok.com will be the only place to purchase the “Answer to No One” Question Mid and gear pack. You can see the new collection below.

DJ Khaled Says He Pinches Himself Every Time He Hears JAY-Z’s ‘GOD DID’ Feature

DJ Khaled’s GOD DID album is coming at the end of the week. Hitting up Drink Champs, Khaled spoke about what to expect on the 13th album, and continued the hype train around JAY-Z’s latest verse.

Speaking with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, Khaled reveals the single makes him want to pinch himself.

“I pinch myself every time I hear it. Really, like this is a gift to the world,” DJ Khaled said. “If he put a greatest hits out, he gonna put this on there. Like it’s gonna be one of them. It feels like that. I’ma let y’all say it.”

JAY-Z normally drops off DJ Khaled a verse when it’s album time. This time he may have done something a bit different.

Young Guru revealed Hov delivered a new verse for GOD DID and stated the effort cemented him even further as the “greatest of all time.”

Also present for the session was Lenny Santiago, famed photographer and Roc Nation exec, who shared the message on his Instagram story with a bit more detail.

“I been in the studio with Jay his whole career,” Lenny S wrote. “He probably just recited 1 of the best verses ever. ever.”
