Jalen Green’s 23-Year-Old Alleged Baby Mama Has No Beef With Draya Michele, Sources Claim

Jalen Green has been at the center of plenty of controversy in recent months, ever since making things official with 39-year-old Draya Michele. The high-profile pair continue to raise eyebrows for their age-gap relationship. Draya is nearly two decades older than the Houston Rockets player and has a son roughly the same age. The backlash was only compounded in March when the couple announced that they’re expecting a child together.

It appears, however, that Green’s child with Draya might not be his first. During a recent chat with TMZ, sources alleged that the young athlete welcomed a baby girl in February. The child’s mother is rumored to be Myah Iakopo, a 23-year-old college student.

Jalen Green Allegedly Welcomed Daughter In February

The sources claim that the two of them were never in a serious relationship, but Green has vowed to be involved in his alleged daughter Peace Moira’s life and to support her financially. This raises a lot of questions about where he stands with Draya. Reportedly, however, she’s well aware of the alleged little one. While the sources admit that the mothers have yet to speak to one another, they insist that there’s no tension. Luckily, they say that Iakopo isn’t concerned with what Green does so long as he continues to be a reliable co-parent.

These aren’t the first mumblings of Green fathering children outside of Draya’s either. In March, he was accused of impregnating a model and a dancer within the past year. As far as fans know, all of these claims are unconfirmed, though Iakopo did share a photo of baby Peace on Instagram in February. What do you think of sources alleging that Jalen Green welcomed a child in February? What about them adding that the child’s mother has no beef with the soon-to-be mother of his other child, Draya Michele? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Drake Questioned For His Proximity To Model While She Was Underage, Fans Debate Veracity

The predator and sex trafficking claims against Drake, now ignited by Kendrick Lamar’s diss tracks, are all unverified and speculative at this point. With little response to this on Drizzy’s part and some social media sleuthing, though, many fans are concluding (again, speculatively) that this is all at least not a very good look. Moreover, one of the reasons why is the Toronto icon’s alleged relationship with model Bella Harris, whom he met when she was 16 and bought out an entire restaurant for dinner for when she was 18. The TikTok clip below details these allegations a bit more specifically, and as you might see in the post’s comments section, you will see that this isn’t the only accusation of this in his life and career.

However, in that comments section, you will also find many pointing out that Harris already reportedly denied that she and Drake ever dated. Other folks claimed that she had more pictures with him that she deleted, and some think that this is all too creepy and suggestive regardless of whether those heftier claims are true. No matter whose side you’re on, as DJ Akademiks and Joe Budden recently proved, everyone acknowledges that there’s an immense amount of pressure on the 6ix God. The same is true for Kendrick Lamar, whom Drizzy hit with domestic violence claims, but he seems to be keeping the pressure on his opponent before hopefully addressing that.

Overall, this whole beef got really nasty when “Family Matters” and “meet the grahams” dropped… all for us to learn with “Not Like Us” that that it’s all part of the narrative. That’s not to diminish either artist: it’s to suggest that what we thought were nuclear bombs might have just been artillery fire, at least in Kendrick Lamar’s case. We still don’t know whether Drake has pushed or will push a red button. But once this rap beef goes away, all the allegations remain if there isn’t anything significant to debunk them.

Meanwhile, even Metro Boomin is getting in on the success of “Not Like Us” (albeit in a sidelined homophobic manner), dropping a new “diss beat” for folks to rap over. Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been playing dirty this week, but the culture and community at large hasn’t lost sight of the “rap beef’ element of this. Is that a valid angle to assume amid these claims? Again, rap beef is one thing, but they both have a lot to lose if either’s dirt on the other is even close to what they allege.

Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” Drake Diss Leave DJ Akademiks & Joe Budden Impressed

The hip-hop world is reacting wildly and quickly to Kendrick Lamar’s latest Drake diss, the Mustard-produced West Coast banger “Not Like Us.” While the jury’s still out on who officially won, the Toronto superstar sure has a lot of pressure and things to answer for, as does his Compton counterpart. No one will forget or avoid predator, domestic violence, deadbeat, or false paternity allegations forever. With this context in mind, Everyday Struggle saw a reunion recently, as DJ Akademiks invited Joe Budden to speak over the phone during his stream and discuss this new song. Their thoughts may surprise you, but the overall verdict is an impressed one.

“Does that matter, though?” DJ Akademiks asked Joe Budden about the claims that Kendrick Lamar and Drake have launched at each other. Budden proposed that both being right about “tea” and speaking on it openly and confidently are important metrics to judge this by. Ak added that Kendrick was able to match Drake on the “club record” front, and both commentators had high praise for each MC’s tactics and playmaking. The streamer asked if this was a specific advantage for the West Coast, and the podcaster thinks that’s a valid claim that helps Mr. Morale’s case on the cultural front.

DJ Akademiks & Joe Budden Discuss “Not Like Us”

Then, DJ Akademiks and Joe Budden discussed whether even responding to Kendrick Lamar’s predator allegations would be a good move for Drake. They conceded that K.Dot has an advantage in that regard, especially since Drizzy said that he would take a vacation. “The best thing for Drake to do is find an out,” Budden remarked, but “going on vacation” would be admitting defeat and puts Kendrick in a position to bomb him as much as he wants. Still, they also acknowledged that the OVO mogul is too big of an artist with too big of a fanbase to really fall off completely.

Ak Reacts To Kendrick Lamar’s New Drake Diss’ Cover Art

Also, DJ Akademiks and Joe Budden theorized as to whether Drake emptied his full clip, but thought that maybe targeting the other rappers on the sidelines in this feud indicates otherwise. Budden even said that he’s happy with how this beef is now and would be satisfied if it’s over, which surprised Ak. With both MCs garnering more takes from the culture and their fanbases, it’s still not a lost battle. But the dynamics for this war and the angles these artists are playing from seem different with every round, so we’ll see what happens.

Boosie Badazz Incorporates The Soul Of The South On “Boosie Blues”

Boosie Badazz is usually in the headlines these days for the honest comments about the genre, other artists, or beefs he is involved in. However, do not forget for one second how much the Louisiana native has poured into the genre musically speaking. Countless records and endless influence are have what made him a prominent figure regardless of your opinion about him. Recently, Boosie Badazz fed the streets again with a blues-inspired record, Boosie Blues.

This quickly follows up a collaboration album he did with Jit The Beast back in February. It was called In House 2: Boosie and the Beast, and it spanned 14 tracks. If you are thinking, “why is he doing a blues-esque album?” Well, this is not his first rodeo. If you go back to 2018, that year he put forth Boosie Blues Cafe.

It was a bit rough around the edges in terms of quality and some of the vocals. But on the quasi-sequel, Boosie has curated some more refined tracks. Some will still have to fight through the raspy, high-pitched cadence. However, there is some fun moments to be had.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new album Boosie Blues by Boosie Badazz? Out of his now two blues-inspired records which one do you prefer and why? Which track is the best out the bunch? Metro Boomin Drops Drake “Diss Track” & Doubles Down On “Like That” Cease & Desist Claims

Everyone’s focusing on Kendrick Lamar and Drake right now, and while that’s the big battle that’s been building up for a decade at this point, it’s not what really seems to have kicked off this Drizzy hate campaign. Even he believes this, with him having some spare shots on “Family Matters” for who he thinks has been responsible for all this: Metro Boomin. According to the Toronto superstar, he roped Future into beefing with him and made two whole diss albums that The Boy only skimmed through. This is a pretty clear reality to see, with the St. Louis producer doubling down on his distaste for him right now.

Furthermore, Metro Boomin took to Twitter in the wee hours of Sunday morning (May 5) to combat Drake in a number of ways. First off, there were a lot of memes thrown around here, like one of Metro responding to a drumline asking why wasn’t he chosen (referencing the “Push Ups” bar about “making some drums“) plus old clips of the 6ix God in homophobic skits, which is a sad irony considering the next move that he takes. The beatsmith also included clips of old Drake and accusations of “colonizer” behavior stemming from them, calling to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” record. These including calling Toronto slang “ignorant,” saying the hard “R,” being in blackface for the years-later “The Story Of Adidon” pictures, and Metro retweeted a co-sign of K.Dot’s “we don’t wanna hear you say n***a no more” bar.

Metro Boomin’s Last Tweet About Drake (At Press Time)

However, it all gets pretty lame once Metro Boomin starts acting like those homophobic skits from earlier and makes fun of Drake’s painted nails, his alleged liposuction, and some pictures of his intimacy with other men. The other parts of his rant include doubling down on the rumor that Aubrey’s team refused to grant radio rights for “Like That,” that he’s lying about his assessment of Metro’s relationships and his claims of people getting involved with his girl, and poking fun with the “two bad b***hes” bar on “euphoria.” That last one is odd considering Sexyy Red’s St. Louis origin, but regardless, Metro probably took all shots against the OVO leader, not her. Also, back to that “make some drums” bar, Metro actually did. He dropped a pretty good beat whose sample sounds like “BBL Drizzy” and declared that the best verse on it would get it for free.

Meanwhile, Metro Boomin also played a clip of Drake praising The Weeknd a couple of years ago, and called out his bar about people only knowing his music in gay clubs as a result. Perhaps most importantly of all, Metro warns Drizzy that the real reason why they don’t like each other (or rather, why the former doesn’t like the latter) is something that Drake wants to avoid addressing because he knows it would be a bad look. If you’re wondering what went down between these two to spur these claims, there are mostly only theories so far. But it’s clear that at some point, someone drew a line in the sand, and now we’re here.

“F.U.N.” Continues For Slum Village On Their New Album With A Host Of Features Joining The Party

It has been a minute since we have checked back in with one of the most underrated hip-hop collectives, Slum Village. The Detroit-based group is still together all these decades later, but it has been quite some time since their last record. In fact, four years have gone by since Dirty District, Vol. 1 (Instrumentals). However, it has been even longer since we had heard an album with vocals on it. You would have to go back to 2019’s Fantastic 2020, Vol. 2. But nonetheless, we have new Slum Village material to sink our teeth into with F.U.N.

The former trio of J Dilla, Baatin, and founder T3, now shrunken down to the latter and producer YOUNG RJ, are continuing to carry on the group’s legacy. It is safe to say that they have it all under control. F.U.N. is a groovy, jazzy, and funky listen from front to back. Also making this an enjoyable time are the wide variety of features.
