Bhad Bhabie Pops Out With Her Boyfriend Le Vaughn For First Time Since Cancer Diagnosis

Bhad Bhabie shocked her followers a few weeks ago when she revealed she was taking cancer medication, which obviously prompted a lot of worries. But it seems like she is getting in better spirits and stepping out for her daily routine, strolling around with her boyfriend Le Vaughn in Calabasas on Friday (November 22) in the first photos that emerged since the news of her cancer diagnosis broke. It seems like they were having a great time, which is heartening to see after they’ve gone through a lot together, and allegedly at each other’s hands.

For those unaware, Bhad Bhabie had accused Le Vaughn of domestic violence earlier this year. “I wasn’t gonna speak on this but who said I was staying?” she previously stated, which is apparently not the case anymore. “What about that post made y’all think I’m staying? Bc I said I love him? Bc I said he’s gonna get help? I’m so confused and apparently so are yall.” “She did that for a reason, I ain’t do that. If I did that she wouldn’t be with me,” Le Vaughn responded to the allegations.

Elsewhere, fans are still talking about Bhad Bhabie’s cancer diagnosis, which some people did not respectfully react to. “How dare you – you little vile piece of s**t – say my daughter would lie about something like that?” her mother ranted against someone who thought the rapper is faking everything. “You’re a dad… How many children did you have through a surrogate? I’m not even sure. You need to focus on them and not mine. Go find another way to make some money instead of talking s**t about other people. Is this the only way you can make money, talking s**t about people? How dare you!”

Meanwhile, at least Bhad Bhabie and Le Vaughn are finding small and personal moments to celebrate amid all the drama, such as the latter’s recent birthday. Hopefully she continues to recover well and be successful on that journey, and that they continue to heal.

Wack 100 & DJ Hed Defend Kendrick Lamar Against The Haters Dragging New Album “GNX”

With his new album GNX, Kendrick Lamar clearly sought to draw a line in the sand, and a lot of people responded in kind. While it obviously garnered a lot of critical acclaim and love from fans, there were plenty of people who didn’t like the new project for a whole host of reasons. During a social media live session, commentator Luce Cannon called K.Dot overrated and claimed that his music doesn’t resonate with large audiences like international communities or with social gatherings like clubs or gyms. Wack 100 and DJ Hed combated these ideas with some evidence and arguments of their own, and it was a conversation that has already been exhausted so much in 2024.

Regardless, a lot of people are very excited about GNX, including some of Kendrick Lamar’s collaborators for the album. “I had no idea what I would record,” singer Deyra Barrera told Rolling Stone. “I make mariachi, not rap. They told me they wanted my style, my voice. I had no idea how it was going to end up on the record. He welcomed me and was so kind. He said, ‘You have such a powerful voice. Thanks for coming.’ I had no idea what to say. Lamar is a genius, a maestro. Everything he makes is magic.”

In addition, Kendrick Lamar’s words on GNX even convinced people seemingly on the fence to hop over to his side much more firmly. Snoop Dogg, for example, praised the new record after Kendrick’s bars for Tha Doggfather on the opening track, “wacced out murals.” “Snoop posted ‘Taylor Made,’ I prayed it was the edibles / I couldn’t believe it, it was only right for me to let it go,” the Compton lyricist rapped on the cut.

As GNX continues to spread in pop culture, we’re sure many more people will debate Kendrick Lamar’s worth and the weight of this new album. They always make for very interesting discussions, even though they will probably never be peaceful conversations again. But hey, that’s just how rap battles go sometimes, especially between the two most massive MCs today. Let’s see what else people argue about…

Jace! Delivers His Fifteenth Project Of 2024 With “Curation 4”

Jace! cites his main inspirations as Chief Keef and Summrs, among FBG Duck, and more. We can definitely see why he looks up to them because all of their discographies are quite massive just like his. However, when we listen to Curation 4, the latest offering from Jace!, we hear quite a bit of Lil Uzi Vert as well. His vocal inflections and some of the dreamy and wavy productions sound like some of the Philadelphia MC’s earlier material. You will see a lot of “Jace” coverage on our site already. However, this our first time covering “Jace!” from Fort Worth, Texas. The 21-year-old rapper, who used to go by TGE Duwap, has been making waves in the underground for a few years.

He does have a few big hits though, including “20 Min,” “Gostyle 2023 Freestyle,” “556 (Green Tip),” among others. These three alone have nearly 100 million streams combined. Jace! isn’t just a spitter though. He also produces, is an audio engineer, a guitarist, as well as a streamer. As we said, his influences are some of the more prolific names in the game, and he has some work with a handful of them. Summrs is perhaps his most notable collaborator, as according to his Genius page, they used to be close friends. Bishop TD Jakes Seemingly Suffers Medical Emergency During Sunday Sermon

TD Jakes, the bishop and pastor that rose to prominence for his alleged connection to Diddy, seemingly suffered a medical emergency during a sermon on Sunday morning (November 24). He was addressing the church congregators and the folks at home who were watching him via livestream, quietly wiping sweat off his face, telling his audience he loves them, and speaking on visiting someone at the hospital who motivated their visitor. At one point, Jakes stopped his speech, his arms fell to the side, and he began to shake, which prompted many people to run over and try to help him. The livestream ended shortly after. Hopefully the Potter’s House megachurch senior pastor recovers well and quickly.

Previously, T.D. Jakes made headlines for his remarks after the footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway emerged online. “Then, a woman said to me, ‘Would you please pray for women who are living in danger in their own house?’” he said. “And there was something about the way she said it… It was a cry for help. The atrocious, degrading, demeaning, debauchery — I know who it was, but I saw my daughters. As a man, I saw my daughters, and it made me angry… And I thought if it affected me like that as a man, how much more is that image a trigger for women who have been through that, who are currently going through that… And feel trapped in situations where you are being physically and emotionally and verbally abused?”

TD Jakes Seems To Face Medical Emergency

Even though T.D. Jakes completely denied any malicious involvement with Diddy, the Bad Boy mogul continues to find inspiration in his perspective. Both of them are in pretty tough situations right now for wholly different reasons, but we don’t know the extent of their disconnection these days.

“I will not use this sacred day and this sacred pulpit to address a lie when I have the chance to preach the truth,” T.D. Jakes said during his Christmas Eve sermon. These rumors shot Jakes up into the stratosphere of media attention thanks to the Diddy scandal. But sadly, now he has larger issues to deal with that we hope he can recover from.

Drake Pleases PETA By Updating OVO’s Guidelines On Merch Materials

It’s been a tough year for animal rights activists to convince Drake to support their causes, because he couldn’t sniff them out with a massive slab of beef cooking in front of him. In the months since the release of WE DON’T TRUST YOU, we’ve spilled a lot of ink on the rap battle of the decade so far, and he’s been unable to let go of it no matter what he tries. But the Toronto superstar eventually cleared the air and moved on, and ironically, the lack of beef has now been matched with a righteous business decision. PETA thanked him on Twitter for his OVO clothing brand eliminating their use of animal fur.

“Here’s a toast to @champagnepapi!” PETA wrote in a statement. “Clothing and lifestyle brand October’s Very Own (OVO), cofounded by Canadian rapper Drake, has confirmed that it will no longer sell products with real animal fur. The decision follows pressure from PETA and more than 100,000 e-mails to the brand from PETA’s supporters urging the company to ban fur – including fur from rabbits and coyotes. In thanks, we’ve sent the company some delicious bunny–shaped vegan chocolates.”

Still, there’s some more parallels to draw in this weird Venn diagram of PETA, Drake, and beef. The 6ix God is a pretty big hater of Pharrell, who recently spoke to GQ about how he didn’t really stress out over Drizzy’s disses. But an even bigger Pharrell naysayer is PETA, as animal rights protestors have directly confronted him on multiple occasions recently. One protestor interrupted a screening for his Piece By Piece biopic to speak out against Louis Vuitton, and another group of protestors confronted him after the GQ Men Of The Year party.

Meanwhile, later today, Drake will apparently hop on xQc’s stream to give away $500K for a gambling event, which should be pretty fun. We wonder if he will talk about Kendrick Lamar’s new album GNX, the beef in general, or updates on his PARTYNEXTDOOR collab album. In any case, it’s interesting to see this update to OVO clothing guidelines, and hopefully more big hip-hop brands can follow suit.

Snoop Dogg Praises Kendrick Lamar’s “GNX” After Apologizing For Drake Support

On Friday (November 22), Kendrick Lamar unveiled his new album GNX by surprise. Ever since, social media has been flooded with fans, critics, and peers’ reactions to and observations about the project. In the song “wacced out murals,” for example, Kendrick references Snoop Dogg supporting Drake’s infamous AI diss track “Taylor Made Freestyle.” For those who don’t recall, Drake replicated Snoop and 2Pac’s voices to diss Kendrick, which 2Pac’s estate did not approve of.

Eventually, the song was removed from DSPs after the estate threatened to take legal action against the Toronto rapper. Before that, however, Snoop posted the track on his Instagram Story, leaving Kendrick disappointed. “Snoop posted ‘Taylor Made,’ I prayed it was the edibles/ I couldn’t believe it, it was only right for me to let it go,” he raps. The mention later earned a response from Snoop Dogg on X, who made it clear that he’s changed his mind about backing Drizzy.

“K Dot new album GNX,” he wrote, adding various emojis. “It was the edibles. West West King.” Now, he’s hopped online to show his support for Kendrick once again, this time through a video on Instagram. In the simple video, Snoop has GNX pulled up on his computer. He also captioned the clip with a series of celebratory emojis. Obviously, he’s enjoying the new project, and he’s not alone. Reportedly, it has already earned a whopping 120 million streams roughly 33 hours after its release. It’s also garnered praise from countless other fans and peers.

This includes TDE’s Top Dawg, who shared a cryptic message on his Instagram Story this weekend. “Dot is a dangerous man right now,” it read. “Everything I thought he would be at 16 years old is here right now. Everybody stand down. I promise you.” His post sparked some speculation among fans. For now, it remains unclear exactly what he meant.

Mariachi Singer Deyra Barrera Tells Backstory Behind Her Kendrick Lamar Collabs On “GNX”

One of the most surprising but welcome elements of Kendrick Lamar’s new album GNX is the feature list, with stars SZA and Roddy Ricch catching people’s ears. However, there are also a lot of hard-hitting West Coast rappers on the tracklist, plus some gorgeous vocal contributions from one Deyra Barrera from Tucson, Arizona. The mariachi singer told Rolling Stone of how she linked up with the Compton lyricist. She explained that their collaborative origin was when she sang a tribute at Game 1 of the World Series to former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Fernando Valenzuela, who passed away in October.

“My skin gets goosebumps because all of this happened so quickly for me,” Deyra Barrera recalled to the publication about this “blessing.” “I want to cry. This is taking me by surprise. I was in tears, singing for my friend who died, at a packed stadium. And, el señor [Kendrick Lamar] was there. He listened to me sing. I believe in angels. And [Valenzuela] is an angel for me. I had no idea what I would record. I make mariachi, not rap. They told me they wanted my style, my voice. I had no idea how it was going to end up on the record. He welcomed me and was so kind. He said, ‘You have such a powerful voice. Thanks for coming.’ I had no idea what to say. Lamar is a genius, a maestro. Everything he makes is magic.

Deyra Barrera’s Performance That Captivated Kendrick Lamar

“Ever since I can remember, we’ve sung to pay for rent and to make enough money to eat,” Deyra Barrera remarked of the path that led her to this moment with Kendrick Lamar. “It’s been many years of highs and lows, but I haven’t thrown the towel in because this is what I love. I hope this helps me. This industry is really difficult. I need to take advantage of this God-given moment to grow as a singer. From now on, I need to work a lot to have more people listen to my music, and learn who I am. I know Kendrick is going to do the Super Bowl Halftime Show… Imagine if he invited me to sing with him? That would be incredible. I hope people know that it’s Deyra Barrera who is on these songs.”

Days after that World Series game, Deyra Barrera was in Kendrick Lamar’s studio hearing the beats from the album. She wrote down some lines evoking the emotions that Kendrick’s team told her he wanted to present. Eventually, K.Dot stopped by to greet Barrera and express his gratitude for her contributions, even though she says they didn’t get to spend much time together after discussing their ideas. She appears on GNX‘s intro, “wacced out murals,” the track “reincarnated,” and the album’s outro, “gloria.”

Yhapojj Drops Off Precursing EP “Before T.L.Y.”

Yhapojj is maintaining quite a strong work ethic this year since coming onto the rap scene back in 2020 with freestyles. The Huntsville, Alabama native, known for his unconventional auto-tuned delivery and off-beat rapping, has been busy pumping out projects left and right. As of this weekend, Yhapojj has increased that total to four with the release of Before T.L.Y. It’s more of an EP/mixtape, and according to Pitchfork, it’s a big wink to the camera. Very soon, Yhapo will be dropping an album called Thanks Li Yhap. When it will arrive remains a mystery, but for now, fans are enjoying what he’s laying down on Before T.L.Y.

Most of his charm comes from those attributes we mentioned a second ago. However, in the case of this mixtape, Yhapojj sounds mostly incoherent. His biggest draw is more of a detriment, and it makes most of the listening experience frustrating and disheartening. What keeps things interesting is the production, which flirts with trap, underground, and maybe even a little hyperpop. But the vocals are what really hurt the project, especially some of the adlibs. Yhapo’s “yuh” is over most of the record and sometimes he draws it out way too long to the point where his verses sound even more jumbled. Hopefully, Thanks Li Yhap will be an improvement. Lizzo Replicates Kendrick Lamar’s Iconic Mustard Shout-Out On Stream With Kai Cenat & SZA

Recently, Lizzo and SZA joined Kai Cenat for Mafiathon 2, his 30-day livestream that began earlier this month. Unsurprisingly, several moments from the stream have already gone viral. At one point in the stream, for example, Lizzo referenced Kendrick Lamar’s song “tv off,” which appears on his new album GNX. Kendrick screams Mustard’s name in the middle of the song, which quickly became a meme following the surprise release.

Lizzo leaned into this during the stream, abruptly shouting Mustard and getting laughs from both SZA and Cenat. The funny moment took place shortly after Mustard himself shared his reaction to the iconic shout-out. According to him, he had no idea the album would drop when it did and heard the final version of “tv off” with the rest of the world. “You know what’s cr*zy? It was a surprise for me, just like it was a surprise for everybody else,” he told Billboard. “I had been thinking maybe it’s going to come at the top of the year, maybe it’s going to come around the Super Bowl or whatever.”

“That sh*t was elite,” he said of Kendrick shouting his name mid-song. “So fire. Like, is that a new tag? I can’t wait to perform that song and just hear people just saying that, ‘cause everybody’s going to say that like cr*zy.” Lizzo is far from the only one leaning into the meme, however. Recently, the official McDonald’s X account shared an image of a sauce packet labeled “Honey MUSTARRRRRRRRRDDDDD” much to social media users’ amusement.

The post even earned a reaction from Mustard himself, who replied “Omg lol.” This wasn’t the only notable moment from SZA and Lizzo’s appearance on Kai Cenat’s stream either. During the stream, SZA also suggested that her next album could arrive “before the year is over,” meaning within weeks.
