Saweetie has been slowly unveiling the rollout of her highly anticipated debut studio album Pretty B*tch Music. Throughout quarantine, the California-bred rapper has managed to maintain a heavy presence musically, in part due to a number of her songs going viral on TikTok. She’s unleashed three singles from the album, beginning with the lead single “Tap In,” followed by “Back to the Streets” with Jhené Aiko, and most recently “Best Friend” with Doja Cat. The self-proclaimed Icy Girl is now hinting to fans about who her next big-name feature is.

The 27-year-old hinted to fans on Instagram that she’s got a major feature in the works, dropping hints that the respective artist is a woman, and she’s pretty legendary in her own right. “pretty b*tchin omw to the studio to do a feature for someone……. guess who,” she penned in the caption of a photoset where she rocked a pink Birkin bag, Jordan 1s and an oversized hoodie. She continued, “hint: she’s iconic.”

While that was where the clues of who the anonymous feature ended, her track record of collaborations thus far points to it very likely being an iconic female rapper. While it could be legends like Lil Kim or Missy Elliot, most fans think the “My Type” rapper is suggesting she has a Nicki Minaj collaboration on the way.

King Von’s sister has found herself in many feuds since the death of her brother. She and Asian Doll went at it for a while and she’s also faced accusations of clout chasing. That is his sister, after all, and they both had an incredibly tight relationship up until the day he passed. They were often seen alongside one another at most events.

Von’s sister Kayla shared a video of a new tattoo she got in honor of her late brother. It’s a portrait of her brother’s face on her leg but it didn’t receive the type of reception you’d expect. She was immediately trolled over the new piece but it was Sukihana who may have taken it too far. In a comment on IG, Sukihana flamed the tattoo, claiming the tattoo looks like a portrait of one of the members of the Ying Yang Twins.

Kayla ultimately caught wind of the comments and fired back at Sukihana, though she didn’t seem concerned about the matter. She did, however, plant the seed for a potential fight. “Find you something 2 do before I put a date on it,” she wrote. Suki was down for the challenge. She aired out a Kayla B on IG with a challenge to actually square up for a $30K prize. “I feel like what’s credible — ’cause none of the shit y’all doing is credible. What’s credible is gettin’ in that ring. You got smoke with that hoe? You feel like I disrespected you? Bitch, get in that ring,” Sukihana said. At the end of the day, Suki is all about a dollar and she said that she would rather duke it out than be miserable over the internet.

“Get money hoes, we don’t do that. We get money,” she continued. “I’mma challenge you to get in that ring with me and I got, not ten, not 20, but 30 bands, you feel me? Come get this money.

No word no whether this fight has been picked up but we can’t say this wouldn’t be an interesting match-up. Peep Suki’s video below. 

On Friday night, Lil Uzi Vert went on Instagram Live to tell his followers just how good JT’s WAP is. Ever since the couple went public with their relationship, they have been all over social media showing one another off. They are quickly becoming one of hip hop fans’ favorite couples, and it doesn’t seem like their goofy antics are going to stop anytime soon. 

On Uzi’s live, he has the camera pointed at his feet while walking, talking about just how good that WAP is that he gets from JT. “I don’t give a f*ck what nobody talkin’ about,” Uzi says. “That sh*t so good. That sh*t made me switch up my whole life… That sh*t got me twisted… in 2021, y’all censoring everything, I’m uncensoring everything, n****. JT, that pussy is good baby. That sh*t got me wylin’.”

Well, those are certainly some strong feelings. JT also took to her social media on Friday night to show that Uzi gifted her a brand new Mercedes G-Wagon. She tweeted, “Good pussy get you a space wagon,” alongside a photo of her intergalactic new ride. It’s certainly no secret anymore as to why Uzi was prompted to get her a new car. It seems like he just can’t resist her!

Joel Embiid has become one of the biggest sports stars in Philadelphia and his play on the court reflects someone who is already a superstar in his own right. On Sunday, Embiid will get to take part in the NBA All-Star Game in Atlanta and as a bonus, Embiid will receive $100,000. However, Embiid has decided to redirect this new income into a good cause, as he will be officially giving it to various charities around Philadelphia that are mainly centered around homelessness.

According to ESPN, Embiid will be donating to Project HOME, Sunday Breakfast Mission, and Youth Service Inc. His contributions will lead to thousands of meals, medical care for the homeless, and even clothes being provided. It’s a great initiative that demonstrates what kind of person Embiid is.

“So many have fallen on such hard times during the pandemic,” Embiid said. “I felt it was important to provide more support for individuals and families struggling with homelessness and food insecurity. I’m continually grateful for all of the support that Philadelphia and the fans have given me not just around All-Star but all my years in the league. I will continue to help in any way I can.”

Embiid’s new contributions will go a very long way to making a difference in the community. It has become obvious that Embiid wants to make long-term commitments to the city, and we’re sure 76ers fans are appreciative of what he’s doing.

By now, many of us are used to seeing Chloe Bailey show off some thirst traps on Instagram and TikTok. It’s much more rare, however, that we see the other half of the sister duo showing off her moves. Halle tends to be considered the more reserved or “innocent” one of R&B duo ChloexHalle, especially as she is slated to portray Ariel in an upcoming adaptation of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. 

On Friday night, however, Halle took to her TikTok to show off some dance moves she had learned to Cardi B’s newest single “Up.” The song is part of a recent challenge moving around the app where users dance to the track, and Halle posed in front of her window in her pajamas in the video. She even showed off her twerking skills to the camera, seeming to just be having fun and promoting positivity.

This week, Halle and Chloe have had to stick by one another more than ever when faced with comments from Beyoncé’s father Mathew Knowles that called anyone comparing Chloe to Beyonce an “idiot.” “Are there people saying her talent is equal to Beyonce? They’re idiots. That’s actually insulting to Beyoncé,” he added. Halle stepped in to defend Chloe, tweeting, “How amazing is it that @ChloeBailey is already an icon. Just popped in to say that … i ride for my sister till the enddd okayyyy.” 

How sweet! Lots of sisterly love between this duo. 

Over these past few years, the NFL has been making real strides to make the sport more inclusive, while also delivering a more diverse officiating crew. For instance, over the last few years, various women have been elevated in the sport and some have even been given the chance to officiate a Super Bowl. Now, the NFL has announced their latest hire, Maia Chaka, who just so happens to be the first black woman hired as an NFL official.

This is a historic achievement for Chaka, who has been working tirelessly over the last few years to make it to the league. She has been doing a lot of work with the NCAA and was even a part of the AAF during their short run back in 2019. Upon learning the news, Chaka issued a statement on the matter.

“I am honored to be selected as an NFL official,” Chaka said. “But this moment is bigger than a personal accomplishment. It is an accomplishment for all women, my community, and my culture.”

It remains to be seen what kind of rolls Chaka will have on the field, although it’s clear that her presence will provide representation that can inspire a young generation to follow in her footsteps.
