Amy Schumer Reveals Another Joke She Wasn’t Allowed To Use At The Oscars

Amy Schumer revealed another joke that she wasn’t allowed to perform at the 2022 Oscars ceremony during a stand-up set for the Netflix Is a Joke comedy festival on Friday. For the bit, she utilizes the titles of several Oscar-nominated films to describe sex with her husband.

“I don’t know why they said no,” Schumer began.

“So my husband was going down on me… or as he calls it, ‘Squid Game,’” she said. “So… he’s in my ‘Nightmare Alley,’ my ‘House of Gucci,’ and I say ‘C’mon C’mon,’ you know? He goes ‘tick, tick… BOOM!’ He ‘Belfast.’ I say, Get off my ‘Dune!’ And that’s how our son was born.”

“What do you think?” she asked the cheering audience. “Can you believe they said no to that? Can you even believe it?”

It wasn’t the only joke that Schumer allegedly wasn’t allowed to perform during the award ceremony. Back in April, she shared a joke about Alec Baldwin that was pulled as well.

“‘Don’t Look Up’ is the name of a movie? More like don’t look down the barrel of Alec Baldwin’s shotgun,” she said. “I wasn’t allowed to say any of that [at the Oscars], but you can just come up and [slap] someone.”

It’s been an eventful couple of weeks at Netflix’s comedy festival. Earlier in the festival, Pete Davidson opened up about his relationship with Kanye West over the last year, and Dave Chappelle was attacked while performing on stage.

Benedict Cumberbatch Jokes About Being “Beat By Will Smith” In “SNL” Monologue

Benedict Cumberbatch joked about being “beat by Will Smith” at the Oscars during his Saturday Night Live monologue, over the weekend. Cumberbatch hosted the sketch comedy show in honor of the release of his newest Marvel film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

“I am thrilled to be back hosting Saturday Night Live. It’s been a really fun, great week,” the 45-year-old actor opened his monologue. “I’ve got to be honest though because most of the sketch writers this week, they pitched me sketches every day, and most were about Doctor Strange. It’s great. I love the guy. I love playing the character. The film’s doing really well—but I have been in other films.”

Cumberbatch listed his recent work on Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog as an example. The film earned 12 Academy Award nominations, earlier this year.

“I said, ‘C’mon, man, I was nominated for an Oscar for that. I didn’t win. I was beat by Will Smith,” he joked. “Not physically. Not physically.”

The joke was a reference to the infamous moment at the 2022 Oscars ceremony when Smith stormed the stage and slapped Chris Rock for making a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair.

“Keep my wife’s name out your fucking mouth,” the King Richard star infamously shouted.

Smith went on to beat Cumberbatch and win the Academy Award for Best Actor. He was later banned from the event for the next decade.

Future’s ‘I Never Liked You’ Goes No. 1 With The Biggest Week Of 2022

It’s been almost seven years since Future obtained his first No. 1 album. He earned it with his 2015 third album DS2 which many herald as a classic in his discography. Future’s stardom was cemented in the following years, especially in 2017 when he released two albums — Future and Hndrxx — in the span of two weeks with both topping the charts. Nowadays, Future’s output is not what it used to be, but his chart performance has remained the same. At the end of last month, Future released his ninth album I Never Liked You and many expected it to debut at No. 1. Those expectations have come true thanks to the latest chart from Billboard.

For the Billboard 200 dated May 14, 2022, Future’s I Never Liked You went No. 1 thanks to 222,000 album units sold in its first week. That number is comprised of 214,000 streaming equivalent album units which equates to 283.75 million on-demand official streams of the album’s songs. I Never Liked You also posted 6,500 pure album sales.

With its first-week sales of 222,000 units, Future’s I Never Liked You earns the biggest debut of any album released in 2022. It’s also the highest sales week since Adele’s 30 posted 280,000 units in the week ending on December 2, 2021. Additionally, I Never Liked You had the biggest debut of any hip-hop/R&B album since Drake’s Certified Lover Boy posted 613,000 album sales last September.

Future’s latest No. 1 gives him his eighth chart-topping release in the last seven years which is the most by any artist in that timespan.

Jennifer Lopez Posts Throwback Bennifer Video In Celebration Of Mother’s Day

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez may not have any children together, but they do have a lengthy shared history that allowed for the actress to post a sweet throwback video from their first engagement in celebration of today’s holiday.

As Page Six reports, the footage uploaded to Lopez’s IG feed was taken back in May of 2003 at what was formerly LA’s Staples Center as the famous pair sat courtside to watch the Los Angeles Lakers take on the San Antonio Spurs. The young pair wished their mothers a “Happy Mother’s Day” for the camera, with the announcer dubbing them “Hollywood’s hottest couple” of the moment.

“Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommy’s out there!!!” the mother of two wrote in the caption. Though she and Affleck looked to be incredibly in love at the time, they ended their engagement less than a year later.

“Jennifer Lopez has ended her engagement to Ben Affleck. At this difficult time, we ask that you respect her privacy,” a rep for the Hustlers starlet told PEOPLE in January of 2004.

The father of three’s rep refused to comment at the time, saying, “I am not going to confirm anything about his personal life. We don’t want to get dragged into quicksand. Everybody wants a war. It’s not happening from our side.”

After their separation, Lopez went on to marry Marc Anthony – the father of her children – and Affleck wed actress Jennifer Garner, with whom he shares three children.

Those relationships would both ultimately end, with the former lovers making their way back to each other in April of 2021.

Things appear to be going smoothly, as the 49-year-old popped the question to Lopez last month while she was in the bathtub, marking their second engagement – read more about that here, and tap back in with HNHH later for more celebrity news updates.

Jack Harlow and Drake make Music Video at Kentucky Derby

Jack Harlow Drake KY Derby

Rick Strike may have been the winner of the 148th Kentucky Derby, but Jack Harlow and Drake may have been the center of attention. Jack Harlow and Drake didn’t just make a surprise appearance at the famous horse race, but also shot part of Harlow’s “Churchill Downs” video (Drake is also on the track).

Harlow is a Kentucky native and often references the state on his tracks. According to the Louisville Courier-Journal, Harlow (in an all-white suit) made a surprise appearance on the event’s iconic red carpet with his parents and friends, including Louisville rappers The Homies before making his way to his box seats that he shared with Drake. Footage from the event will reportedly be used for the “Churchill Downs” video.

Harlow was also given the honor of calling “Riders Up” to kick off the event, a task that he performed in his trademark style.

“Churchill Downs” is a track off of Harlow’s second studio album, “Come Home The Kids Miss You.” The album was released Friday and includes several big-name collabs, including Lil Wayne, Pharrell and Justin Timberlake.

Harlow had also made an appearance on Friday at a pre-Derby party at 21c Museum Hotel and made an appearance at Guestroom Records, a local Louisville record store on Sunday.
