Kodak Black Responds To Wack 100’s Claims Of Why He Was Shot In L.A. “Hell No”

Kodak Black survivors of breast cancer

Kodak Black was shot outside of Justin Bieber’s Super Bowl party in L.A. back in February. Following the shooting, Wack 100 claimed that Kodak was shot because of comments he made about Lauren London after Nipsey Hussle’s untimely death.

“On some clout chasing shit,” Wack said in a Clubhouse room following Kodak’s shooting. “Talking about, ‘What’s that shit you said about Lauren London? Get the fuck out of here!’ But Kodak got off!”

Kodak recently responded to Wack 100’s claims, denying the shooting had anything to do with his Lauren London comments.

“Hell no,” Kodak told 99Jamz radio host Supa Cindy. “I watched that joint, he was basically saying, man, he said people were trying to troll and say that. Wack stood on that business, for real.”

Almost immediately following Nipsey’s death in 2019, Kodak angered many people when he said he wanted to try to get with Lauren London. “She finna be out here single! She finna be a whole widow out here. I’ll be the best man I could be for her. I’ll give her a whole year, she might need a whole year to be crying and shit for dude.”

Kodak added, “I ain’t trying to shoot at her. I’m saying, listen, she can do two, three years. I’ll try to be like a friend to holla, a shoulder to lean on. You can call my line.”

50 Cent Threatens To Pull Power Universe From Starz: “If I Told You How Much Dumb Sh*t I Deal With Over Here”

50 Cent Reacts to Surgeon Who Saved His Life After He Was Shot Pleading Guilty to Health Care Fraud

50 Cent has been the reason for a lot of the Starz network success since the hit show Power debuted in 2014. The show has spawned 3 spinoffs and as a result of the Power universe’s success, 50 has been able to greenlight other shows for the network. That doesn’t go to say that Fif has not had his fair share of problems with Starz. In a recent Instagram post, Fif seemed to have had enough and is ready to pull the Power universe from Starz.

“This is me packing my stuff, STARZ Sucks,” Fif captioned an instagram post with a video of a man packing a suitcase. “My deal is up over here I’m out. They Renewed High town and FORCE is the highest rated show they have it sitting in limbo. If I told you how much dumb shit I deal with over here.”

Fif continued his tirade in multiple IG posts. “Hold my calls i’m traveling, getting the fvck away from STARZ.”

In other posts, he posted pictures of people packing their luggage and captioned the pictures, calling on executives from his G-Unit Film & Television company, including Anil Kurian, Head of Development for G-Unit Film & Television to pack their bags.

“Anil get your fvcking bag’s in the car now, we are out of here, take that fvcking sign off the door no more G-unit film and television over here,” he wrote.

In 2018, Fif signed a 4 year deal with the network that was reportedly worth $150 million. As he enters the final ear in his contact, it might be possible we see Fif leave the network and take the Power universe with him.

Jussie Smollett is Seeking a New Trial in Hoax Hate Crime Case

jussiesmollet

Jussie Smollett is looking for a new trial. According to TMZ, the convicted hoax artist is not accepting his not-guilty verdict and is also pointing fingers at issues with the jury selection process.

In new legal filings, Smollett wants to reverse the conviction and if that isn’t possible, wants to get a new trial. Smollett’s lawyers state they were unable to speak with potential jurors and vet them for the case. The legal team also states prosecutors show a pattern of racism in selecting jurors.

In addition, the legal team states the judge wrongfully didn’t allow the media and public in the courtroom, while the prosecution pressured witnesses into false statements.

In December, Jussie Smollett was found guilty of 5 counts of disorderly conduct for lying to the Chicago Police Department over a hate crime, which is now declared a hoax. Smollett staged a racist, homophobic attack against himself in the Chicago neighborhood of Streeterville in January 2019.

According to ABC 7 Chicago, Smollett, now a convicted felon, showed no emotion as the verdict was read. he faced six counts of felony disorderly conduct, the last count was dismissed. The dismissal of the sixth charge occurred because he altered his statement to Detective Robert Graves in Feb of 2019, stating the attacker was not white, instead opting for “pale-skinned.”

Smollett is released on a recognizance bond but he will return to Chicago for sentencing, where he faces between one and three years for each conviction. Experts state it is likely the Empire star will get probation due to having no criminal history. A sentencing date has not been set.

Estée Lauder Executive Fired After Sharing Racist Chingy COVID-19 Meme On Instagram

chingy

You would think someone would think twice before posting something on social media that could get them into trouble.

Estée Lauder, senior executive John Demsey, was fired from his position on Monday, February 28, after posting a racist COVID-19 meme mentioning Chingy on his Instagram.

“My n***a Snuffy done got the’ rona at a Chingy concert,” read the meme which featured a masked Big Bird and sick Snuffy.

After being fired, Demsey posted an apology where he claimed he did not read the meme before posting it.

Estée Lauder has since released a statement about Demsey’s firing, saying the meme does not “reflect the values of The Estée Lauder Companies.”

“This decision is the result of his recent Instagram posts, which do not reflect the values of The Estée Lauder Companies, have caused widespread offense, are damaging to our efforts to drive inclusivity both inside and outside our walls, and do not reflect the judgment we expect of our leaders,” the statement said. “Our employees, and especially our senior leaders, are accountable to continue driving our progress and to respect the values of this company for the long term.”

Social media had a field day with the news story. While nobody seemed mad at Demsey posting the meme, many made jokes about Chingy trending and the sheer stupidity of losing a nearly $10 million a year job over a Chingy meme.
