Comedian Tiffany Haddish finds herself in the spotlight once again as updates emerge regarding her ongoing legal battle stemming from a 2022 DUI arrest in Georgia. Recent reports shed light on developments in the case, revealing that a Georgia judge has agreed to reduce the frequency of drug tests required of Haddish while she awaits trial.
According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, a recent hearing saw Haddish’s legal team arguing for modifications to the comedian’s bond conditions. These modifications specifically targeted the frequency of drug testing, with Haddish’s team successfully advocating for a reduction in the number of tests she must undergo.
Haddish’s troubles began in January 2022 when she was arrested for driving under the influence in Georgia after officers pulled her over and determined she had been smoking marijuana. The comedian contested the arrest, accusing the officers of an “unlawful search” and challenging the admissibility of evidence obtained during the incident.
Following her Georgia arrest, Haddish faced further legal woes in November 2023 when she was arrested for a second DUI in Los Angeles. This led Georgia prosecutors to demand additional conditions be added to Haddish’s bond, including abstaining from alcohol and drugs, including CBD products, and submitting to weekly drug tests.
Despite these legal challenges, Haddish recently reached a plea deal in her Los Angeles criminal case, resulting in the dismissal of all DUI charges in exchange for a reckless driving charge and probation.
As Haddish’s legal battles continue, the Georgia case, initially set for trial earlier this month, has been postponed until April. However, recent developments have seen a positive outcome for the comedian as the judge presiding over her DUI case granted a motion to reduce the frequency of drug testing. Haddish will now only be required to submit to bi-monthly drug tests, marking a notable change in her legal proceedings.
The reduction in drug test requirements represents a significant development in Tiffany Haddish’s ongoing legal saga, offering a glimmer of hope amidst the complexities of the legal system.

Last month, the world of comedy was rocked by comedian Katt Williams’ explosive tell-all interview on Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe, where he took aim at his fellow comedic peers. Williams’ bold statements ignited a messy chain of events within the comedy community, sparking debates and controversies across social media platforms.
In the aftermath of this heated exchange, reality TV judge Judge Mathis has stepped forward with a plea for peace and unity among comedians. Speaking out against the public feuds and verbal sparring that have become all too common, Judge Mathis delivered a powerful message urging comedians, particularly those within the black community, to refrain from attacking each other in public.
“You’re embarrassing yourselves,” Judge Mathis remarked in a tweet shared by The Art of Dialogue, emphasizing the negative impact of comedians engaging in public disputes. He called upon comedians to rise above petty conflicts and instead focus on uplifting and empowering one another, recognizing the importance of unity within the comedy community.
The plea for peace from Judge Mathis comes at a time when tensions within the comedy world are running high, with comedians increasingly resorting to public confrontations and verbal jabs. His words serve as a timely reminder of the need for mutual respect and solidarity among comedic peers, highlighting the detrimental effects of internal strife on the broader community.
As comedians continue to navigate the complexities of their industry, his message serves as a beacon of hope, urging them to prioritize camaraderie and collaboration over divisiveness and conflict.

Over the past few years, it is almost impossible to keep up with the relationship status of Blueface and his baby mama Chrisean Rock. While it had appeared that the two were finally over for good, Rock surprised her social media followers as she shared what appears to be a very permanent tribute to her love in the form of a face tattoo of the currently incarcerated rapper.
In a post shared on early Sunday morning, Rock (whose profile picture is currently a photo of Blueface) shared a video montage on her Instagram of the tattoo process from the initial stencil to the finished product with the caption “#freeblueface free my Daddy I love you papa @bluefasebabyy” all while playing Blueface’s hit song “Pop It.”
The on-again, off-again couple had appeared to finally be over back in December when Rock claimed that Blue had punched her in his driveway. However, just last week, she posted that she had moved back into the “Thotiana” artist’s home.
As for Blueface, while it seemed unlikely that he would have a public comment any time soon as he is currently incarcerated until July for a probation violation, a post from his account also shared Rock’s tattoo process video.
His current relationship with his other baby mama, Jaidyn Alexis, remains unclear.
Since the beginning of his illustrious career, Kanye West has always had a complicated relationship the the paparazzi. While in the past, he has been known to typically run away from or confront them, this week, he pulled an about face and did the unthinkable- he invited them inside.
The bizarre invitation stemmed from a day in which a group of paparazzi had been following him and his reported wife, Bianca Censori, around Los Angeles looking for the typical content. However, once the group reached a building, West invited them inside into what appeared to be a private photo studio that he has been renting.
In a video shared to TMZ, he can be seen and heard inviting about four to five photographers to come closer to a full-fledged white paper backdrop set where Censori stood decked out in a full-body furry suit of some sort, complete with a hat that included large floppy ears. He directs them where to focus their cameras while also directing Censori where to stand and how to pose. Censori can be seen working a variety of angles as the photographers snap away. A few times he can be heard chiding the photographers not to get the ceiling or the rest of the structure in the shot. After shooting for a little over a minute, he bids the group farewell and ensures them that he will see them later before asking one to refrain from photographing the whole studio, which appears to be a rather professional setup, complete with an interview area and full kitchen.
While this is not the first time that Kanye has directed paparazzi on how he likes to be photographed, it is a departure from Censori’s recent content, which included revealing clothing that largely has to be censored on the internet and social media.

Last night at the swanky Madame X Lounge in Lower Manhattan, a group of graffiti legends and up and comers gathered under the club’s red light and celebrated Joey’s Slae exclusive graffiti exhibition. The show featured some of New York’s most recognized style masters from the Rotten Apple “Golden Era”, some of whom are still relevant and active on the city’s graff landscape today.
Artists such as NEST 156, DOMS KOC, VEDO, VEEFER AND others displayed their timeless pieces while displays of some artists such as P13, CAP, DAZE and other 80s icons were exhibited for the wonder and enjoyment of the attendees.
There was also a music component to the show, featuring “The Mixtape Queen” DJ Lazy K on the 1s and 2s while DJ Curt Crazy warmed up the crowd early in the evening. Emcees also hit the second floor stage of the venue, including slangspitters such as Nino Brigante, the Black Rose Familia, Lawrence Miles, Alexis the Violinist and others.
Born January 15, 1929, Civil Rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would’ve turned 91 Years old today; as we celebrate the day of his birth almost 47 years after he was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee.
Born to Martin Luther King, Sr. and Alberta Williams King, Dr. King was a gifted man from his youth. He skipped grades 9 through 12, and began college at Morehouse College at the age of 15; the alma mater of his father and maternal grandfather. The iconic leader received his B.A. degree in 1948.
Following his family’s long tenure as pastors, MLK was ordained and served as co-pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA; the same church his father and grandfather pastored.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was arrested almost 30 times, on acts of civil disobedience and false charges. He was once jailed in Montgomery, Alabama in 1956, for driving 30 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone.
King’s last public speech was at Mason Temple Church, where he told the congregation:
Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I’m not concerned about that now … I’ve seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the Promised Land. And I’m happy tonight. I’m not worried about anything. I’m not fearing any man. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was killed on April 4, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was standing on the balcony of his motel room, where he was preparing to lead a protest march for garbage workers who were on strike. James Earl Ray pleaded guilty to the assassination.
In 1983, President Reagan signed a bill creating a federal holiday celebrating Dr. King, first celebrated in 1986. The national holiday is celebrated every third Monday in January.
Happy Birthday, from The Source to the legend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
There has not been a figure in the history of the United States that can ever be compared to the life and legacy of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His methods of non-violent protest that were used to fight oppression and inequality in this country have been emulated all over the world. Besides, who else has been given their federal holiday that wasn’t a former president?
In celebration of Dr. King’s birthday today, without focusing on how the U.S. government is admittedly responsible for his tragic and untimely death or the rumorous allegations of him being a philandering lady’s man, the Mind Squad presents a photo gallery that captures some of Dr. King’s most intimate moments within the struggle for the liberation of Black people.
And for those that didn’t know, this rendition of “Happy Birthday” composed by Stevie Wonder, which can be heard at many Black birthday shindigs, was originally created in memory of the late Dr Martin Luther King Jr.
